It's just the AI doesn't know what it's doing half the time. The AI will constantly leave their own goals wide open, letting the enemy score because they're too focused on killing random wild Pokemon. And then they'll stack 3 or more to a lane from the get-go, so you have to pick up their slack half the time, which sometimes includes having to 1v3 or more the enemy team as well. There's no reason it should be this awful, would much rather play real people. But Tencent/Timi can't host a server for shit, so I'm constantly getting bot matches nowadays.

I tried my best to enjoy the atmosphere. But Blacktail's combat is just awful, and it made me want to play something else.

'The Forgotten City' is interesting as a narrative so far. But the sense of direction seems a little vague and contrived. (Like I was supposed to think that diving off a huge cliff into a shallow pool would keep me alive, when I took damage after jumping from far smaller heights. Very logical.) And it was hard to feel immersed, when I had two separate characters introducing themselves, and then abruptly canceling the conversation as the ‘time loop’ moved forward.)

(And it also had some pretty egregious load times. But I might've fixed that by verifying the game files somehow.)

In other news, I upgraded to a PS5 after all. (Since my launch PS4 was starting to die on me, and it was cheaper than buying a whole new PC to play Elden Ring.)

I just wish most of my Steam wishlist was on the Playstation Store.

So now I’m waiting 16 HOURS for my game data to transfer.

Edit: 20 Hours later, and it claimed their was an error. (But only after it finished.) Fuck me. (And Sony.)

The Forbidden West DLC was fun but felt slight in terms of content (there were only three side quests! Three! And the main quest is like 4 hours!) but it was good to go back to the world since I do really enjoy those games and the lore, and this was a solid addition lore wise and serves as a nice bridge to whatever Horizon 3 will be.

And naturally it's getting review bombed because Aloy said gay rights. Gamers are nothing if not predictable.

I am so on the fence with so many games these days. I have people to play Diablo IV with but I am relucant to buy because I don't like what is going on at Acti-Blizz, and I'm interested in the idea of Redfall but worried about the execution.

If developers could stay out of politics that'd be swell.

Horizon is one of the relatively few Sony exclusives I'd like to try and haven't. Gameplay seems cool. Concept is fairly unique. I've seen a clip or two of the new DLC and the world looks beautiful.

I'm definitely interested in Diablo IV as well. A little worried about what choices they might make given how that mobile Diablo went but it looks solid.

Another game that could be amazing but I'm worried about it, Starfield. Building off Fallout 4 and with all these years to make improvements it could be and ought to be amazing...but Bethesda is expert at fucking up a good thing.

That's generally not what people mean when they say "stay out of politics" or "make it political"

It's when things are thrown in as a reference or parody of real world politics of the time. Particularly when they're presented in a partisan way.

Folks usually don't complain about the politics of Skyrim because it wasn't a poorly disguised socio-political commentary on politics of the time.

Same with Dying Light 2 or the Fallout series. They're not expies of real world situations or hackneyed attempts to insert the developers own viewpoints (or self insert) into the story.

Folks usually don't care much about picking a gender either. I've seen some folks annoyed that Male and Female are sometimes now referred to as Body Type A and Body Type B but that's a very small minority.

Unless it's funny. Everyone loves funny.

I think the majority of gamers people who play games just wanna be left to fuck alone. We don't want to be treated like misogynists because we enjoy games with scantly clad ladies in them. Nor do we want to be called homophobic because we have no interest in the same-sex romance options in some games. We also don't want to be told our purchases are supporting "woke" culture just because the protagonist happens to be a black female, gay, or both.

But who really cares about that shit? You know what today is? April 27th. You know why that's important? Because Omega Strikers has launched! You can check it out on Steam, Ios, Whatever Nintendo uses, etc. If I had to sum it up in just a few words I'd call it "MOBA air hockey." Stop playing Overwatch 2, Valorant, Genshin Impact, or whatever free to play crap you're currently playing and try this free to play crap instead. You can thank me later. I've played the Beta for about 70 hours and I can already tell this is nothing but better.

Anyways been playing Siralim Ultimate, this games got some pretty deep meta and I love it highly suggest picking it up and choose the specialization Hellknight or Reaver if your new to the game. Or if your a masochist like me Animator and rely on killing your other monsters to strengthen your golem.

@TGM Who do you main? I play all the characters (have yet to try the two post-beta ones, but I own them) But I find myself drifting towards X, Juno, and Ai.Mi. when I'm playing forward. I've been playing a lot of Luna on goalie. Partially because I'm cringe, but largely because when playing with randoms, I like to know knocking out fools and scoring goals is an option for me.
