Ah, my mistake. Was picturing a camera angle in my head when I wrote it, lol. It's basically just charging into the midst of them, whatever their orientation.

Yeah! I think it could be good to head to the mines. It's probably some ways away and we could always keep a vigilant eye and try to gather supplies/complete the main objective as we go to and from there. Oh, maybe we can gather some vines and use the hatchet to cut of a big piece of bark and we can use that as a makeshift sled to transport our supplies in lieu of a basket?

Presumably it shouldn’t be too hard to 4v1 the final bird, so after that, Esfir’s likely gonna suggest they go follow the final one that got away. Probs encounter the other Runt that way, and depending on how things go, there’ll either be four runts or five runts heading for the locations that Lazash learned about.

Generally speaking, I’m good for Akeno soloing her own bird, unless King Cosmos wants another to assist.

I'd say go for it! Esfir and Lazash have an anti-fire chicken shield Grunthor in its way I believe!

Otherwise yeah I generally agree with ERode's thoughts there. Clean this up by finishing the third bird, go off to get the last chicken at Esfir's suggestion, maybe run into someone else along the way if they want join along with us, and if the group is willing we look for some sleeping night creatures in the locations Lazash learned about.

Though to be honest I am curious if we might find some slimes along the way, if nothing else to see how edible or useful they can be. But that is more a side thing along the way than anything else right now.

The Quests don't count as complete until they turn their hunts in to Auguz, but at this point all of the group save Esfir have basically fulfilled what they were supposed to do along with the "kill something" and "bring it back in decent condition" optionals (although Grunthor's will depend on Auguz's evaluation). As most of you have realized by this point, there wasn't a time limit given, so now the next move is up to you...

Anyhow, how exactly does the loot drop system work? I’m guessing it’s based off of their ability to actually butcher/salvage parts off the Elwet? Like we’d be able to get more Elwet Horns if we broke them off the Elwets?

Also, considering their 20 pound mass, how difficult is it for the Runts to carry one of em around?

Silliness on my part once again put aside, if they are too heavy we might have to cook and eat these things before continuing. At worst that gets us a meal and gets some biomass in us before we move onward I think.

Also I second Kaze's suggestion of turning slimes into fantasy world jello shots. Or maybe a thickener for a stew? Idk.

I've asked him how much weight an orc runt can carry, we're good up to 60lbs

Rather than stuff exploding into coins and whatnot, yes it's basically carving stuff out of other stuff. Monster Hunter style--including everyone's favorite Desire Sensor ;)

An Orc Runt's "everyday strength" is about as strong as an average 12 year old on an adrenaline rush. So carrying a single Elwet, or even 2 at a time, is definitely doable. Carrying one would make climbing, fighting, etc more difficult, obviously. Can't just shove it into a Hammerspace Inventory...yet.
