Ti inspired me to add flaws to the personality section, so I went ahead and added those, along with an obvious musical choice. Nothing else was changed.

I did the same, it's pretty much done now. Now we wait for the flying whales.

I find to find flaws help develop a rounded character, and tend to make things interesting or 'spicey' as I like to put it !

I know when it comes to roleplay, some of these things can change and develop throughout the course of the play. So whilst character sheets are a continuous work in process, thinking such things in advance may shape the develop of the character and their interactions with others.

As for adding music, it can provide a lot to the essence/thematics of the character.

Is piloting seraphim akin to becoming the magic fantasy equivalent of a Gundam pilot? Just gotta know 🤣

Ni-Serpahi that remained, unable to consume Mystics anymore, eventually turned into stone — statues of their former selves (the statues are referred to as Seraphim). Mystic artificers would later learn how to animate these Seraphim statues with vitesse and use them as vessels to fight against Ni-Seraphi.

From my understanding from my first interpretation, it is more like puppeting. They turned into statues and by giving them vitesse, you can animate them. Then I presume you give instructions and directions as they operate like golems under your command.

On the re-read, I see where you are coming from. The language is ambiguous!

This is correct. :) They're like golems that are animated and controlled with vitesse by a "Seraphim Pilot". Most pilots do sit within the "cockpit" of the statue cause they need to see where its going as they control and command it, especially over long distances. But if you can see the Seraphim and don't plan on needing it to go far away, a Seraphim Pilot can control it remotely without being inside it, like you said, giving it instructions and directions on what to do. The Seraphim at the school is mostly used as an extreme defense mechanism of the academy grounds. It's basically like the golems from an anime called RahXephon. But it takes a lot of skill to "pilot" these golems and requires a lot of vitesse too. It's like comparing a phone charger to an electric car charger. The latter requires FAR more juice to operate.

Either option is ridiculous amounts of awesome. Raffaella eventually learning to puppeteer a Seraphim with Ephemera sounds like a good time, if such a thing is allowed. Putting her in charge of one would be pretty effective too, if nobody can see the puppeteer or her strings.

That'd be an interesting route to take Lhoren. Though given the nature of her 'broadcasting', the only obstacle to her literally making a human pyramid of six seraphim with the snap of her fingers is her lack of vitesse

Still concepting some ideas for my girl, and just out of curiousity was looking at the pets and had a question regarding the Gupoo. Like, your answer won't change whether or not she has one, just some minor details lmao. The main question is just how intelligent they are. Are they just floating puffballs that have some vague sentience, or are they actually capable of nominally higher intelligence? Building off that, considering they seem to be rather affectionate creatures and bond with people easily, are they capable of being taught commands as it were?

Just hope the statues aren't like the anime Dr Stone, or that could turn things bad rather quickly.

Honestly, they're not that smart. They're just cute fluff balls really. They're the least intelligent of the pet options. I mean, they can be taught commands, like come and stay. LOL But they have no extremities to be able to do much of anything. They don't even eat or drink like normal animals do cause they have no mouths. It's really just a glorified plush doll tbh. LOL

I love the creativity, but sadly, your characters' telepathic/psychic powers wouldn't work in this kind of scenario. Seraphim are lifeless husks, stone shells with no sentience for your telepathic powers to latch onto and control. Seraphim statues are controlled purely by raw vitesse "energy", which requires a lot of it and fine-tunted consistent control of how that energy is flowing through the limbs as its being "puppeted". So once you run out of vitesse, you lose control of the shell. It's like any other object in this world fueled by vitesse. its like magical biological fuel I guess lol Also, a Seraphim Pilots can only "puppet" one Seraphim at a time. But yeah, it's not a creature with a mind anymore. It's truly just a stone corpse. I just call it a golem for simplicity, but its really just an animated suit of armor in the shape of a giant angel.

If you think about it, driving or piloting is basically just puppeting a vehicle, just with a specific set of controls. Manipulating controls to make a vehicle do a certain action.

I figure puppeting and telekinesis wouldn't feel like too foreign of concepts for Leah.

Yeah, its like blood bending from Avatar. Where you aren't controlling the thing itself, but your controlling the blood (in this case the Vitesse) that you've poured into it and that's what allows you to puppet it.

And yeah, Leah's telekinesis isn't strong enough right now, but theoretically, if her gift was powerful enough, she could use her telekinetic power to manipulate the Seraphim statue, but this thing is colossal. Look how it completely towers over the Academy. lol so yeah, that's far out of her reach right now most likely. lol Maybe once she gets to Jean Grey levels of control and strength. XD!

In Dr Stone, a weapon was used to turn all the humans into statues.
What happened like 10,000 years later through the effect of nitric acid, Dr Stone is awakened. He then started his science journey of trying to wake up humanity, reviving them from the statue state.

In context of the RP, it would be the Seraphim being reawakened fully into Ni-Seraphim and kick starting another Liberation War.

Thought I'd give a heads-up on something here. All player characters will belong to a Home-Class that has a Mentor. The home class is a way for the academy to organize on a more intimate level below the Houses. New students at the academy are assigned to a home class regardless of age, and they stay there until they graduate. The Mentor of the home class has a supportive role for the students -- they take care of documentation, assist students in their subject classes, communicate with parents, help with studying, follow along on any kind of outings or missions, and provide emotional support whenever needed. The Mentor for the home class of the player characters will be a professor-student named Tessa Vellhart. She is studying to become a professor at the academy but works as a Mentor at the same time.

I'll portray Tessa as my 'character' as I won't join the main cast. She is technically an NPC, so I might not be with you at all times, but that's alright. Here is her character sheet for you to take in. You can have any kind of relationship with Tessa, and I'm open to discussing any kind of setup you want, if at all. Some of the player characters will already have met Tessa due to already having her as Mentor. If you want to, you can mention this in your character sheet Relations, but it's not a requirement at all.

@Mirandae I'm totally down to replace the generic counselor NPC in Raffaella's backstory with Tessa if that's okay with you!

I chose to not include Theatre in mine as I didn't want to push to 6 classes, but a fun character is always an incentive to considering putting it on.

So our shared Mentor would be the one to hand out the detentions? Certainly the one to add them all up lol.
