The world has been through a lot; years, even decades of catastrophic, world-ending events, from the rise of the malicious AI Ultron to the Destroyer of Worlds, Galactus, and everything in-between, but the world has always had heroes to stand up in the face of unimaginable adversity, with no other being more famous (and on a few occasions, infamous) than the Avengers, Earth's mightiest heroes. But in recent times, the Avengers have become a shadow of their former selves; after a confrontation with the Mad Titan Thanos, possessing the powers of the Infinity Stones, the whole universe was afflicted by an event called The Snap, where the Titan used the Infinity Stones to erase half of all life in the universe. Eventually, though, after several years, the heroes of Earth (and even beyond) were able to rectify this catastrophe...But not without its costs.
Captain America finally hung up his shield, passing both it and his title to Sam Wilson, the Falcon, who had been a faithful companion of his as he fought in the 21st century. Iron Man, having been the one to finish off Thanos with the power of the Infinity Stones, nearly died from it; now he lies near-catatonic in a hidden S.H.I.E.L.D facility suffering from an unknown advanced form of cosmic radiation, slowly killing him, with their top scientists working on an answer to the malaise. In his absence, James Rhodes took back up the mantle of War Machine to fill the void where Stark once stood. Thor has left Earth behind after the events that transpired with Thanos, trying to grapple with the loss of his home, Asgard, as well as his own failings therein. Many other Avengers became estranged as well after the 'Infinity War', as it was, with some of them leaving the Avengers outright or taking a backseat after this latest crisis, for a myriad of reasons.
The Hulk, who at this point had reached an accord with Bruce Banner and became the entity colloquially known as 'Professor Hulk', recognized the strain the Avengers were now placed under, with members leaving at a rapid pace. Thus, he came to a conclusion; the world would need to be prepared for even further dangers after the Mad Titan's assault, as the uneasy peace they held now wouldn't last. As such, with generous funding from STARK Industries courtesy of Tony's wife and current CEO of the company, Virginia 'Pepper' Potts, Hulk founded Avengers Academy, with the intent of training the next generation of superheroes to face whatever would threaten their world next. The Academy certainly had its work cut out for it, though....
Here it is; the Avengers Academy RP I promised everyone! But before I go leaping into character sheets and whatnot, let's go over a few ground rules here.
Alright, boring ol' rules aside, it's time I give y'all the Character Sheet in all its glory! I'll be using hiders for the two major sections on the sheet, which I'll expect you to do the same; I'd also recommend using hiders for some of the larger sections of the main sheet as well to save some space for those scrolling through, such as the History or Powers sections. Annnnnnyyyyhoooo! Here it is!

Here it is; the Avengers Academy RP I promised everyone! But before I go leaping into character sheets and whatnot, let's go over a few ground rules here.
- 1: Respect Each Other - A simple rule, but that makes it the most important. I want everyone here to treat one another with respect at all times, since we want this to be a friendly, welcome environment. If there are ever any problems, too, don't be afraid to tell me, and I'll handle it to the best of my abilities.
- 2: No Godmodding - Also self-explanatory; your character isn't the center of the universe, and they sure as Hell aren't invincible (even if Superhuman Durability can make ya feel otherwise). It's important for characters to fail from time to time, and they'll be all the better for it. It's a lot more interesting to see someone fall and stand back up than always being on top. This also, of course, involves manipulating or outright controlling other characters against the will of their writers.
- 3: The Time Limit - Generally, I allow a grace period of about a week between posts from players before I bug ya 'bout it. If you respond and tell me what the hold-up is, then usually I'll be more than happy to extend the time a touch longer. However, after a longer delay, or a lack of response on your end, I'll likely assume you are MIA and have you moved out of the RP until further notice. So stay on top of things!
- 4: Hidden Rule - This ISN'T A RULE! HAHAHAHA! Nah, this is a secret lil' thing to prove you actually read this damn thing. Tell me your favorite Marvel character, hero or otherwise! For me, it's Moon Knight.
- 5: No Killing (Friendlies :) ) - Unless another player explicitly agrees to the idea, you are NOT to kill other player characters! This also is the general rule of thumb for named NPCs, both villains and heroes alike; be sure to ask me if you intend to try and kill them. Nameless mooks or the like though? Go wild! Though that could still have some consequences...
- 6: Have Fun! - Yep, this is MANDATORY! You better be having a good time with all our superhero antics, or so help me... >:C
