Max pressed his forefinger underneath his bottom lip as he looked at Magneto pensively. Roughly 100 mutants, no clear way to get them all into a singular evacuation room, and no true escape pods to speak of for this type of situation. Sure this place was still being built, but even then it showed how much faith Erik had in mutantkind and those who would end up at this station. It was as he said before, only those who wished to be here would come and those that wished to leave were welcome to. It didn't account for an attack from inside. Max felt sorry for him, a second home for mutants destroyed and condemned by their own kind. ”Don't worry Magneto, we'll get this all handled and fixed.” He tried to sound comforting.

Mary threatened Max if he dared to go with his plan, and it was clear by Ed's question and expression that he and Jacklyn felt the same. He put on a light-hearted smile as he waved off their concerns. ”It's hardly reckless. I could get myself out before it became an issue, and even then my families the damned Triumvirate. We resurrected more mutants than I can count after Genosha. Don't worry you can't get rid of me that easily.” He tried to sound nonchalant but the truth was they had been forbidden from bringing back any more mutants. What's more he was a part of the three needed to form that circuit. But he had no doubt that they could find another mage capable of filling in for a moment, perhaps even Pixie could help.

His thoughts were cut short as the recording of Cortez's memories began to play for all to see. The light shed felt more like a police siren. Only filling Jim with dread instead of relief at the reveal. It was all a game to them, for points. To some being they weren't even sure of. More ideas began to circulate the room as others left to fend off the dastardly sister. ”Won't lie Jack, never done it remotely. It's usually a hand holding experience, unless it turns into something else. As for calories, I can make you food so you don't burn yourself dry or you could try and manifest the telepathy and I can attempt to boost your powers but again it's all uncharted territory. Easiest answer is if we had an intercom system to tell all mutants to head towards a certain section of the station, preferably near the Blackbird. Find a way to loop it so it continues and then have good old Petey do a superspeed headcount.”

Ed had stayed with Mary and was quickly regretting it when a woman whom Ed did not know used powers on Cortez to see his memories and project it for them. He shifted not wanting to be part of such an invasive thing...even if it was for good he did not like things that seemed to be smack of telepathy. He even sort of flinched when OfAll suggested she use telepathy to pass on the message to the people on the station. At least she didn't seem excited about it.

He frowned heavily at the information they learned from the memory though. It might already be too late to stop whatever this game was. And OfAll had a good point...there were others and some mastermind behind this. Ed hated that implication.

He focused on Max when Max explained that he had backup plans for getting off the asteroid. Max's teleporting powers would easily be one of the faster and better ways to get everyone off the asteroid. He just didn't like the possibility of Max self-sacrificing to get that done. He smirked since he wasn't the only one with that opinion.

He didn't understand how there weren't safety measures like escape plans in place. That was suicidal in his opinion. If they could incapacitate the sister then they could escape, but they couldn't leave the whole asteroid defenseless. "Or an emergency announcement that tells everyone to evacuate." That was the most basic safety feature. If there wasn't an actual PA maybe their was a fire alarm that could be pulled for the whole station. He doubted it.

Antoinette McCarthy

Antoinette listened as Mary talked it out and spoke to some others in the group. There were a lot of moving parts. Sometimes it was easier if those moving parts just stopped and listened. Antoinette watched Miranda approach Cortez after Mary’s suggestion and nodded in silent agreement. This was a good idea. The image of Cortez’s memory projected, and Antoinette’s head cocked to the side as she listened. She couldn’t quite believe it. Or maybe she didn’t want to believe it, but then Mary said it out loud. A game. Like real-life DnD. Antoinette looked at the ground, shaking her head in disbelief. DnD was a fun game with friends with long campaigns that could last into the early hours of the morning, with characters dying but never in real life.
Antoinette was still reeling from that news when Edus suggested making an announcement over a PA system for everyone to evacuate. ”Maybe Guin and the others can transmit something once they get the system to stop from crashing. In the meantime, we could get to the Blackbird and bind him for trial on Earth,” Antoinette suggested, nodding towards Cortez at the end.

20 Minutes Until Unavoidable Destruction

Guin would easily assess the damage, and unfortunately, nothing was salvageable at all with the consoles or anything. However she would be able to get one monitor to at least give her some indication of what was about to happen. The thing powering the base and everything around them? It was about to overload, and there was no way it was possible to fix everything in the amount of time that they had. Which to say was not much time.

20 minutes. That's all the time they had to get back to the ship and get as many people as possible off the base.

Anne wasn't seemingly doing anything, though she did smirk slightly when she saw what Guin was doing, but she didn't say anything else to them at all. Actually she seemed somewhat okay with them just not doing anything, "You're too late you know, clock's ticking," she eventually said, looking at the group who was there.

Lance was a bit concerned about that, and walked over to where Guin was, "Ok, how bad is it?" he asked, figuring she had already assessed how bad the situation was. Though based on how trashed the room was already, it was pretty apparent that it was bad. Really really bad.

Over where the others are with Cortez, Miranda shook her head slightly, "Unfortunately I don't think that will work too well. His mind seems to have some defenses, and so he is able to resist my attempts to pull forth memories. Hence that was the best one I could do for the moment, sorry."

"Doesn't matter, we can figure out whose responsible later, one problem at a time. Right now we've got to get people out of here first, then we can try to sort that out." Mary said, looking at the others as she listened to the ideas that others were saying.

This was beyond a difficult situation, and she heard Guin's words about perhaps needing Magneto to do something, Alright, good to know. Currently we're still trying to figure out how to get everyone off the station. How much time do you think we have before everything goes to hell?

"The hanger area would make the most sense, to have everyone meet up at... But maybe we should see about heading that way now to maybe get there too so we don't maybe have to worry too much about getting all of us off the station too if we need to in a hurry."

"We do have a system like that that is in the main control area, though I do believe that there are a few other places that it can be accessed." Magneto said with regards to that suggestion.

"One problem with that? The room closest to us? According to Guin it's completely smashed apart, so the PA system likely won't work, at least closest to us." Mary said, shaking her head at the suggestion. "So maybe we can see about trying to boost either someone's telepathy or something in order to attempt to do it would be the easiest solution. We likely could make it work with the power sets we have, in order to accomplish a goal like that, but the actual system near us is not going to work out too well for it."

Bethany continued to keep a hold of Anne from doing anything else as she watched Perry using one of her ghostly friends to zap her the woman definitely did deserve that, as she looked over at Guin for a moment. Things looked to be pretty bad but she wasn't a tech expert at all like Guin or Mira were.

They needed to figure out something fast as she stared at Anne once more who had caused all of this to happen in the first place. "So what should we do with her?" Bethany asked looking at the group, she was fine with just leaving the woman to her own devices while they worked on trying to salvage the entire station somehow.

Carolina Reed

Location: Asteroid M.

Carolina started to think of a way to try and save everyone as she looked over at Magneto he was an omega level mutant with his abilities as she started to come up with a bit of an idea. "What if we get everyone within the hangar and Magneto with your power seal off the hanar completely and pull it out from the rest of the station and make it into one massive lifeboat and either make our way to the moon or back down to Earth?" Carolina suggested the moon was closer and probably easier to land the thing safely due to the low gravity there, the other option was make it back to Earth but it was riskier and they could all burn up on reentry.

She stared at Cortez they weren't going to get any more information out of him she wasn't sure what the rest of the group would want to do with him, he was a threat still with his powers to try and overload someone's powers in a small space wasn't good at all really either. They needed to deal with him otherwise he would still probably try and kill more people.

Antoinette nodded as Mary explained the PA system was likely out. She tapped her foot, thinking. Mary suggested enhancing someone’s telepathy, but Antoinette wasn’t sure how they would go about enhancing that. ”I have some telepathy. With needing to make my illusions effectively take hold, I have to be able to enter people’s minds. We could try through me,” Antoinette offered since no one else with telepathy had as of yet.
Antoinette stepped from side to side. She was starting to feel antsy. Standing still for so long after being in a situation where they had all been fighting for their lives made it hard to come down and relax. Especially since they weren’t home-free yet.

Guin Stark

Location: Asteroid M
Skills: Telepathy
~Fit Check~

Guin did what she could with the wrecked technology, managing to bring just a single monitor back to life. And the news that it held wasn't good. The station was about to burst, a fatal overload in its power core imminent. They only had twenty minutes before it would be too late - not nearly enough time to fix everything, even with Pietro's superspeed. This was the reality of science and engineering - that while in the movies and books, things could be fixed instantly, in real life it often required weeks if not months if not years of labor. Twenty minutes was impossible.

But impossible was where Guin lived.

They couldn't save the station - but hopefully they could save as many people on it as they could. And if the explosion vaporized everything left into harmless scrap, well, then that solved the issue of falling debris. "Bad," Guin told Lance, refocusing on the task at hand. She had a lot of calls to make. "We have twenty minutes. Let's get everyone we can to the hangar - our ship's there - and have anyone who can hold metal bits together with their mind ready to reinforce. This entire station's going to explode."

She then pressed a digit to her forehead and concentrated, opening up connections with Pietro, Mary, Edus, and Carolina. Guin relayed the same information - that they only had twenty minutes before it all went up in flames, that they needed to act quickly, evacuate everyone to the hangar bay, and have those who could reinforce and protect. There was nothing they could do for the station.

She then ended that connection, refocusing on a mind she wished to connect with that had eluded her - and with great effort, she managed to get a staticky, shaky hold on Magneto. Magneto, I need you to hold the station together with the force of your fucking will. Once everyone's in the hangar, reinforce it like it's a box, make it a solid container, and then you're going to push us away from this nonsense - aim for the moon if you can, if you can't, then just create distance. Away from the Earth, not towards it. She hoped he heard most of her message.

Guin then moved onto the last, hardest task - to connect every mind on this ship, to order them to evacuate. Her grip was slippery at best, and she pressed harder, only to lose it all suddenly. Pain, enormous and sharp, blossomed in her skull and Guin stifled a scream, stumbling back to the ground, holding her head between her hands in agony. Her nose was bleeding.

The clock was ticking - according to Guin, they only had twenty minutes left to save everyone. Twenty minutes to evacuate the Asteroid and put distance between it and themselves. They grimaced, pessimism sprouting like a weed within them. They weren't going to make it. They weren't going to be able to pull it off, to get every single mutant on this ship to a safe zone, to construct that safe zone, and then launch? It was impossible. If this were D&D, the DC would be a 30 at least - everything would need to go perfectly.

"Let's knock her out," Neil suggested. If Anne Cortez wasn't conscious, she couldn't cause more problems. And they didn't have time to waste on securing her, on keeping her from somehow finding a way to kill everyone ever so slightly faster. Then they could either take her with them or they could leave her - Neil's preference was to leave her. Let her experience the fate she tried to inflict on others. It would be justice.

Ed Penior

Location: Asteroid
Skills: Magic (shield)

Ed flinched at having Guin in his head. But he could see the reason for it. They needed to get moving. He wondered if he could make a bubble big enough to fill the hanger.

"We need to get moving toward the hanger. If you see other people tell them, shout it or whatever. If there is another way to access the PA system on the way we use that too." He was relieved there was some sort of backup system, hopefully, that meant there was some redundancy too. More than one way to do things.

Mira showed Ed a map of the place. He took a good look at it, memorizing the route, and then took off running toward the hanger. As he went if he saw anyone he would yell at them to head to the Hanger for an evacuation. He didn't know if anyone would actually listen to him or not, he didn't wait around to see.

Ed slid into the hanger. He paused for a moment taking deep breaths trying to center himself. He touched his shield pendant. This would be the largest one he ever made. Keeping the shield pendant tucked into his hand, he pushed his magic, a gentle orange glow, out filling the room until it settled around the walls of the room.

20 minutes.

According to Guin they had 20 minutes to get off of this rock before it exploded. That....wasn't a lot of time in the grand scheme of things. Not only did they have this small group but they had the others that came to get them. Plus Cortez and his sister. They wouldn't be able to save everyone. That feeling crushed her gut. People would probably die.

Per Neil's suggestion, Perry had Barry shock Cortez's sister, knocking her out. Then she had Mary Ellen use her gravity power to make it so she could float. She wasn't just going to leave her there, even if she had caused all of this. "We're taking her with us. We are better than her."

Perry followed the others out, moving Cortez's sister with her, now made easier with her lack of gravity. But as they continued, Guin suddenly dropped to her knees gripping her head. "We don't have time for this. Can someone carry her with us?" She continued towards the hangar, hoping someone would tend to Guin and have her join the rest of them.

”Right.” Max managed to get out as Ed and Antoinette gave other versions of his idea. The gears in his mind turned, wondering what it was that Guin was finding out. The PA system here was damaged and they'd be losing time if they went to find another close-by only to see it ruined like the rest. Something got into Ed, his demeanor changed slightly before decidingly leaving to go towards the Hanagar. Maybe he was going to reinforce their last stand? Or perhaps he was afraid that this was his final day, the day Max sees him die. It wasn't ofcourse, but Ed didn't know that, and now Max wondered how long Mads had been orphaned after that.

Antoinette spoke up, snapping Max out of his own thoughts, as she told him about her own telepathy. Perfect, now all they needed was Jacklyn to take on the power and they could begin their Station wide broadcast. ”Perfect. I could use your innate abilities to boost Jacklyns. Buuut in the event that those powers don't manifest or telepathy is much harder than we think -” Max swept his hand across the air, magic glittering it before it shaped itself into a dozen birds. Each one began to take flight down separate corridors to cover as much ground as possible.
”sqwuak This is an Emergency Broadcast! Please head to the Hangar Bay immediately! This station is no longer safe.”
As the birds took flight, Max made his way towards Mira, who seemed to have a map pulled out that she'd used to help Ed find his way with. He wanted to set up portals in the farthest junctions but…he couldn't make heads or tails of the map save for the blinking red dot marking their own location.

14 Minutes Until Unavoidable Destruction

Well crap, this was not good.

Mary's eyes went wide and she fully understood Ed's words about hurrying out of there. Actually they needed to go, right then and there. There was no time, there was no way to accomplish this. They were going to lose, and fail, and a lot of people were going to die because of it. She looked at her watch and noticed that time was definitely running out. When Guin spoke they had 20 minutes until everything blew up, and now obviously they had less than that. Of course, it seemed like only a few people knew just how little time they had based on the reactions around her, and that was something that needed to be fixed now.

"Stop Max we don't have time to stand here waiting to boost everything or whatever right now! Just heard back from the other group a moment ago, we have less then 15 minutes to get off this rock before we all blow up. Everyone get to the hangar now!" she said instantly as she looked back the way the others had gone in order to try and think of some sort of plan to get everyone out.

Problem she couldn't see a way they actually could right now. There was too much going on, and too little time to accomplish everything.

Mira's eyes went a bit wide hearing the explanation as to what was going on, they really needed to get moving. Looking at the map again, she was trying to figure out where best to get people to get here from. "There are a few ways to get to the hangar from the other side of the base, but there are too many pathways that might be a bit more difficult for others to go through. Not sure how to get people from there to the hangar more quickly unless there is a whole bunch of teleporters of some sort, but that's about it. There are a few junctions that might be able to work to get people to, but getting them out of there in the time limit... Just doesn't really seem possible..."

"We'll figure something out, at least get as many people as possible out, but everyone here, get going to the hangar, now," Mary then responded, before she seemingly took off in the direction opposite of the hangar.

Saying nothing else, Mira just shrugged and took off running towards the hangar now, following along after Ed now and racing into the area a bit out of breath from the run, seeing what Ed was doing. Seemed like to her he was trying to turn the hangar into a rather large sort of life raft or something, that would at least give them some time before all hell broke loose.

Magneto and them followed along in that direction as well, though Magneto fully understood what Guin's idea was, and he was already doing so, the walls seemed to shake ever so slightly to tell he was using his powers, but he was reinforcing everything. Unfortunately the only way to tell how well he was doing that, was to have it blow up and see how it held up.

Pietro was in the room with Guin and them, and seeing what happened with Guin, he rather easily picked her up off the ground. "I can get us all there, just might take a few trips, I'll be back along in a minute or two, after I get her over there and make sure she's okay," he said instantly, before taking off with Guin in his arms and racing towards the hangar, reaching there and setting Guin down on the ground by the Blackbird, You okay Guina?"

Lance started heading that direction now towards the hangar, following along after Perry now as she started heading that way. They really needed to move, but he wasn't entirely sure what to do about everything now that they had the sister knocked out and were dragging her along. Things were going to go haywire and get more chaotic now that they were running out of time.

Back in the hangar, it seemed that the messaged was at least getting to some people, as a few people came running into the hangar, a few people who were just on the station. So it seemed like some others were heading that direction, which gave them some hope of being able to get people to safety.

Jaclyn "OfAll" Chreyz

Location: Asteroid M
Skills: Power Mimicry - Active Power: Chaos Magic
Light Manipulation

Hearing Max talk about his family being the Triumvirate- the name meant nothing to OfAll, but what they could -and did- do was another matter. But then, OfAll was still getting mixed vibes when it came to Max and reality. Was he something of a big talker?

He followed up with a response to OfAll's suggestion, and food/energy supply wasn't one of the questions she had about superspeed, so those remained unanswered.

As it would turn out, OfAll's involvement altogether was nixed as things escalated extremely quickly.

The end game was happening now, they all just had to get moving now --to the hanger, and alerting anyone along the way (Max's birds seemed a good aid to that end; magical birds were making a name for themselves on this mission).

Except- Marygold wasn't going in that direction.
So then, after a couple moment's deliberation, neither was OfAll.

It neither felt right to disobey Mary's orders, nor to leave her on her own to do whatever she was planning to do. The team would certainly wait until the last possible second for their leader before they evacuated- what if something happened? There were multiple powers OfAll could manifest to (hopefully) get Mary to the evacuation point swiftly or instantly. Even if Mary were able to head there on her own steam after whatever she was intending to do, OfAll could potentially facilitate that.

And if not, so long as she also watched herself and stayed right with Mary, it wouldn't make a difference if it was two of them who had to get back or one. Except if they couldn't in time. . .

"Whatever you're doing, let me help," OfAll committed more than offered, as she fell into hurried stride with Mary. "unless it has something to do with. . .a power I should keep away from. . ?" OfAll's mind had flashed back to the battle on the Mansion grounds, when she saw Mary manifest a fire that looked like a bird.

If Mary had the power that fire brought to mind, maybe she was planning on doing something with it.

Personally Bethany would just leave Anne behind to her own devices and let the psychopath to make her own way to the hangar if she ended choosing to. But if Perry wanted to carry her back over there she wasn't going to tell her what to do. Bethany quickly bolted off in the direction back from where they had came from and made her way towards the hangar along with all of the others. Bethany was starting to run out of breath as she ran as fast as she could.

Eventually Bethany made it to the hangar and she stopped running she took a moment to catch her breath as she could see some of the others were coming back now, along with some the of the people who had been staying on the station. Ed was helping with making a shield to reinforce the hangar, along with Magneto.

Carolina heard Guin's message through her mind, she knew that there wasn't really much that she could do at all really as she quickly started to follow the others towards the hangar wasting no time at all to get back there. Carolina could hear the walls rattling around them as she watched Magneto as he moved to reinforce the walls for the hangar. Hopefully it was more than enough to try and save everyone on the station.

No one seemed to help Cortez at all which was probably for the best then, he was a threat especially with everyone's powers could go haywire in such a small place. Eventually Carolina had made it to the hangar along with some of the others on the team as well as some people on the station as well to she was completely out of breath now.

Perry nodded as Pietro grabbed Guin and sped off. Thank goddess they had a speedster with them. Perry slowed down, though she still kept heading towards the hangar, with Cortez's sister in tow. She glanced at the others, wondering their thoughts. Worried? Probably. They had fewer minutes now and Pietro could only do so much. Hopefully the others were on their way.

Neil's choice to keep Cortez's sister on the station was worrisome, though given all she had done, Perry could hardly blame Neil. "Hard not to feel worthless in this scenario. Don't need my powers to read the emotions in the room and my spirits can only do so much." She looked at her three spirit companions, all of them were worried, she could tell. Their connection, if she died, would remain in space.

Should she release them? She hoped Pietro got here soon.

Antoinette’s eyes widened as a flock of birds suddenly appeared. She smiled, clapping her hands lightly at the wonder of them. She snapped too, however, when Mary announced they had less than fifteen minutes to get off the space station before it exploded around them. Antoniette looked at Max, unsure if he would listen to Mary. Antoinette started to move, making sure everyone was heading for the exit and toward the hanger.
”Time to go, Arnold,” she told her Tribble. Arnold remained buried under her clothes, snug but obviously nervous from all the action happening. Antoinette hurried to keep up with her friends as they made their way through the halls, dragging others with them to the hangar.

Guin Stark

Location: Asteroid M
Skills: Telepathy
~Fit Check~

Guin's head was spinning, the pain pounding from her over-extension. She really needed to practice more. Other telepaths probably would've been able to connect to every mind on this station without doing the mental equivalent of pulling a muscle and twisting an ankle simultaneously. The headache was terrible and she kept her eyes closed in order to block out the light - a trick she'd learned ages ago for dealing with migraines and she hoped it applied here. "I'm... fine," Guin mumbled, as Pietro asked her after having set her down next to the Blackbird. "Just... overdid it."

But with so many lives on the line, how could she do anything but?

Even with the pain, even with the headache, Guin reached out once more. She felt like she was on fire, her mind burning as she connected with as many minds on the station as she could - as she instructed them to run to the hangar as fast as they could, that time was running out, that they needed to escape. And as she let go, as she ended the psychic rapport, she felt the blood flowing freely from her nose once more, and she felt faint, she felt exhausted and weary - able to move, able to think, but sluggish, like her body was buffering from the strain.

Neil Spellman

Location: the Asteroid

~Fit Check~

Neil grimaced slightly as they helped to tug the floating Anne Cortez along, as Perry mentioned her feelings of worthlessness. They could understand - especially now, when there wasn't much that they could do. They couldn't reach into people's minds, they couldn't forcibly evacuate everyone from the station. There was no threat to fight, just a clock that was slowly but surely running out of time. They were running out of time. All their mutant powers and they had no way to turn back the clock, no way to give them a chance to get every single person off of this station.

But that wasn't comforting, that wasn't going to make Perry feel better. And they did want to help her - did want to encourage her, to help her feel valuable and like a member of the team. Truthfully, they liked her - she felt like a friend already, someone they wanted to get to know more, someone they'd love to invite to the D&D table. "All we can do is help out where we can," Neil said. "I know it's not a lot but... Every little bit helps." They had to believe that - had to believe that even the smallest actions mattered.

Max looked up from the map displayed in Mira's hand. He blinked slowly towards Mary as she suddenly snapped at him about his ideas. Snapped towards him? It was hard to tell at first what it was that she was mad about, that is until there was a timer looking over their head. From there everything went in fast motion. People ran this way and that, Mary ordered them all to the hangar while doing something else entirely and of course not everyone cared to listen. That was the issue with a team of heroes, everyone had their own idea of how to save the day and in the end…everyone had a bit of martyrdom within them whether they knew it or not.

Mira spoke up, Max's attention once again drawn towards the map in her hands as she explained where the best junctions for others to meet would be from the opposite side. They didn't have the time to run down there and tell them all to stay still, what's more they'd lost their speedster. That's fine then, it was time for Plan C. Max stared at the map, using it as a focus for his magic as he tore a rift betwixt the Hangar and one of the furthest junctions. He could feel the mystical strain it put on him as he attempted the spell. Typically he would've done two portals from his location to two other locations to bridge the gap, but they hadn't the time for that right now. ”I need to get to the Hangar, it'll be easier to bridge space from there within the junctions. Hopefully I can get as many portals open to allow however many may walk through those junctions.”

So he ran. He bolted like he hadn't done in what felt like ages. Too long since the end of the world, yet also so very close at hand. How many times now did lives rest inside his hands? Decisions too difficult to make alone with a burden so heavy it made some situations difficult to talk about even over family dinner. His lungs burned, his throat ached, and his legs radiated heat. But he made it to the hangar tired, but determined. Time and again he'd held his hands up, attempting to open a portal between here and a junction, time and again he found himself breathing heavily as his body begged for him to take a breath before casting again. Though finally, in the end, he managed to open up another rift, a junction midway from his last one for those who'd already passed it before the first was open.

Ed Penior

Location: Asteroid
Skills: Magic (shield)

Ed maintained his shield. It was a good and strong one. He could feel what emotions had gone into building it. Fear and worry for those around him. He had to protect at least his team. He would always protect them. That's what he was good at, defense. He had never been allowed to be anything else. He knew the itches of ideas, the terrible plans he had if he ever fell from the graces of the family. Even now he didn't want to. The laws were old, his family was old. He would not betray them. He would not betray his sister. He had become such a better healer since joining the X-men, but that didn't put him on her level. She had brought people from death's door. He doubted he could do the same.

He stood there, arms up, holding the shield that pressed against the walls, ready to protect against the horror of space when the inevitable would happen. He nodded as the faces of people he knew entered the hangar. Not daring to talk or distract himself more than that. The minutes were ticking by. He didn't know how long they had. But there hadn't been enough strange faces entering to include all the people on this cursed rock.

8 Minutes Until Unavoidable Destruction

Of course Jaclyn decided to basically ignore her entirely, that was not a good thing. There were numerous reasons why she had headed off elsewhere. One was because she had an idea on what to do in order to get some others out of there, the second was because the little voice in the back of her head was basically yelling at her and she sort of needed to get away from everyone with the chaos in order to calm it for the moment.

"There is actually numerous reasons why I said to head to the hangar and not go this way. A few I can't tell you. Powers wise though, going to be blunt what you're referring to is not a power you can copy, at all, like you aren't able to copy Lance's Hulk form shift, since those aren't really powers in the same sense as what we've got and would likely kill you. Now, wasn't planning on using that anyway, for a variety of reasons unless for a last minute thing. However, to my actual powers, most people assume my powers are useless when I'm not on Earth or outside on the ground or something, that's very much not true," she said as she kept going along. Eventually the pair would come across quite a few people seemingly confused as to what the commotion was, and they didn't seem to be prepared to head off.

"Well this is interesting, alright I know a lot of you don't like me, but if you don't listen we're all going to be dead. Everyone is going to the hangar right now because this place is going to blow up, any of you have any sort of teleportation power?" Mary was getting straight to the point with regards to it, unfortunately all of them instantly shook their heads.

Letting out a bit of a sigh, Mary pulled a plant seed out of her pocket, and vines started erupting from it, swirling around, before shooting out towards all of them, the vines began to glow and in a flash those in the area aside from the two of them were gone. "They should be closer to the hanger now, back where we were initially and I held the place together when Magneto's powers were going haywire, I used vines to stabilize the hallway, so that at least got them closer," she explained simply, before the ground around them started to rumble a bit. The walls by them were violently shaking and something was creaking a bit.

There was a loud boom from nearby, and the ceiling above them started to shake, before another explosion erupted, and a hole was ripped in the ceiling above them. Without thinking or hesitation, Mary grabbed Jaclyn's arm and surrounded both of them with fire as they were yanked out of the hallway and out into space. It took a moment for her to get her bearings, before she instantly sent them back down onto the floor of the hall that they had been in. Vines shot up towards the opening, and started tying together, eventually plugging the hole entirely, and the fire disappeared around them now.

She looked at Jaclyn, rolling her now red eyes slightly, "Glad you tagged along now? Come on if you don't want to wait around to get blown up," she said, before taking off down the hall again.

Back in the hangar, Pietro just shook his head a little, "Don't over do it Guina," he said to her, before taking off in a gust of wind.

People were still slowly getting into the hangar from other places. A few came from the portals that Max had set up, others just came charging in from the hallways, Annie among them though she'd be out of breath a bit. However something was going horribly wrong with one of the portals. The hall on the other side of it was starting to shake violently, and the sounds of explosions on the other side were also very much audible. Also known as that hall likely wasn't going to be around for long. The shaking was progressively getting more and more violent and there was the sounds of more explosions.

The walls were also starting to rattle a bit, and Mira now was taking no time in hopping into the pilot's seat on the Blackbird and was starting up the engine, making it so that it was ready to go the instant as many people as possible were on board.

With Perry and Neil, Pietro raced next to them, and looked at them, "Well, better to be prepared, some people who aren't used to the speed sometimes feel a little sick afterwards," Pietro warned the pair, before racing along with the three of them (Neil, Perry and Anne) and whisked them into the hangar, though afterwards both would feel a little nauseous from the run. Pietro took off again, not even taking the time to say where he was going in the meantime.

Lance was doing a headcount. They had a majority of the team with them currently, and aside from that, they had gotten about 24 other people in the area. They were evacuating a lot more slowly then one would want, especially considering the fact that there were supposedly around a hundred other people there. "This is going way too slowly," he said outloud to no one in particular. "It's like the Titanic where no one believed the boat was sinking, I don't think everyone believes the place is actually going down."

The comparison did seem to be valid, considering how many people were currently there, and he walked over to Guin, "Also, we're missing 3 people, Pietro just raced off again, guessing to try and grab some more people, Mary and Jaclyn haven't gotten here at all." he said to her.

Bethany Bell

Asteroid M.
Skills: N/A

Bethany was still a bit out of breath as she watched some of the residents of the asteroid were now coming into the hangar, she wasn't sure what else she could do. She wasn't a speedster like Pietro was to help out really as Bethany started to think what to actually do, they probably had less than ten minutes to get out of here. She decided to go and try and help as many people onto the Blackbird as possible, and get them all seated inside.

She started to go over towards her fellow mutants who were coming in and gestured towards the Blackbird. "Everyone try and get inside we'll fit as many of you in as we can." Bethany instructed as she watched Ed trying to keep the area as shielded as possible and started to come up with an idea as she went over to try and help keep the area as structurally intact as possible. She could hear the sounds of an explosion nearby which was worrying.

Carolina Reed

Location: Asteroid M.
Skills: N/A

Carolina watched as some of their fellow mutants were now coming to the hangar which was good that they were listening to them and getting here, however she knew that it might not be enough to save them all. She didn't have any useful powers to try and help out with the evacuation.

She watched as Bethany instructed some of them to the Blackbird, and decided to help them inside while Bethany changed and tried to help with keeping them all safe along with Ed. Carolina headed into the Blackbird and turned to Guin seeing that she wasn't in the best looking shape. "Is there anything I can do to help?" Carolina asked Guin as she took her seat.
