Aloysius goes around with a holier than thou attitude and can at times be a total jerk or ass to those around him. He isn’t a bully per se, he just wants to be left alone. His mind is stuck in the past about what could have been, and the fact he is left in this dump of a town, is a travesty. One that even after all these years, he still hasn’t quite adjusted to.

If someone was to go through the hassle of getting to know Aloysius, and not get repulsed away, there is a good man in there. He does care about his family, and a few friends, but he hides in sarcasm and comebacks of various degrees of wit.

Aloysius Leighton was supposed to be rich. The Leighton name was one of wealth, and stature. His father owned and ran a Japanese arms business and money growing up wasn’t an issue, that was until his father died when he was young. His mother, who had been obsessed with money, inherited everything. Kids however, who were part of his fathers idea of securing legacy - were not. His mother shipped himself and his younger sister Lola out to Westpoint Ridge to go live with his Auntie Flo and Uncle Roger at age 5.

Flo and Roger didn’t exactly have the most luxury of lifestyle. Owning an old diner cart on the old high street, the pair have lived a simple life for most of their lives. They agreed to take on the Leighton Siblings just to avoid the pair being put up for adoption. Aloysius had to grow up not really knowing what luxury was, something that only hurt him more when he learnt more about other and father. Thankfully money was left in the will for both himself and Lola, but it is dependent on the pair becoming 18 respectively. One more year of High School, and Aloysius can get his pay and blow this lame ass town…. Or buy it all and level it and build a better town in his image…

Lucas is a soft-spoken and polite person who is always willing to help others. He is always respectful of others, regardless of their background or social status. He is a good listener and is always willing to lend a helping hand. He is a kind and caring person who is always willing to put others before himself. He is a loyal friend and is always there for the people he cares about. Lucas is a positive person who always tries to see the best in people. He is a great role model and is always willing to help others learn and grow.

Lucas is the kind of person who would give you the shirt off his back if you needed it. He is always willing to go the extra mile to help others, even if it means sacrificing his own time or resources. He is a true friend and a loyal companion. Lucas is always there for you when you need him, and he always has a kind word or a helpful suggestion. He is a positive person who always sees the best in people, and he is always willing to help others learn and grow.

Lucas can be a bit of a perfectionist, which can sometimes lead to him being stressed and anxious. He can also be a bit of a control freak, which can sometimes make it difficult for him to delegate tasks or work with others. Finally, Lucas can be a bit of a people pleaser, which can sometimes lead him to take on too much and not set boundaries.

Carolyn West had the unthinkable disease - Rubella, striking near the start of the pregnancy. No one was entirely sure what the effects were going to be, but upon being born, it was clear that Lucas could not see. His family weren’t on the poverty line, but paying for all the adjustments to the house for Lucas was expensive. The family are currently trying to pay to move to a slightly larger house so Lucas can have a downstairs bedroom for easier access.

The school begrudgingly agreed to pay for some alterations, such as fitting ramps to the entrances and installing a lift so Lucas didn’t have to use the stairs all the time. While most people are okay, and support this, some are resentful and see it as special treatment, especially when more of the already non-existent extra-curricular funding had to go away to find the budget shortfall. He is currently on the waiting list to get a seeing-eye dog, and hopes to get one soon. Until then he is still very reliant on people around him to be considerate.

He has a passion for music, and can play a wide variety of instruments despite not being able to see. He can feel the vibrations of each instrument and has used them alongside hearing the notes played to help him learn. Since he can’t read sheet music, he learns songs by listening to them and replicating what he has heard, giving him some remarkable memory skills. There isn’t a lot he forgets. He hopes to go onto study music at college one day.

CJ has had an uneventful past, for the most part. She grew up alongside an older brother who’s two years her senior and currently away to college. Both her mother and father have worked their entire lives, mom being a dental assistant and dad a firefighter. They built themselves a nice little home some blocks from the main road a couple of decades ago and have lived there since. The real reason they haven’t left town? CJ’s grandmother refuses to up and leave, and given grandma has no other family left, The Jensens have stuck around all this time despite the kids’ constant protest to do otherwise.

Growing up, CJ was primarily interested in dance and gymnastics. Unfortunately, a sudden incident when she was 13 left her in a cast for quite a few weeks. Her leg and ankle recovered, but not entirely. She then stuck to online coaching and even though CJ could have easily been overlooked, she was allowed to join the cheer squad as long as she refrained from doing any of the fancier moves.

Academically, CJ is on average a B student. She has goals to be a nurse and rarely allows a distraction to disrupt her studies. When not busy or glued to Netflix with a bottle of wine she snuck into her own little space, CJ enjoys thinking up different choreographies, swimming, and reading fashion magazines.

Suzie hates the story of how she found herself stuck in Westpoint Ridge.

Twenty-six years ago, her father had went out on a college road trip with his friends. As they crossed into Westpoint Ridge, they soon found themselves stuck in town after some car trouble. Given that it would take time to fix, the group decided to grab a bite to eat at Rodney's while mechanics worked on the car. Coincidentally, it had been one of the days her mother was scheduled to work, and her father found himself swept off his feet. Though they moved on not long after, he couldn't forget her face, and eventually uprooted his entire future in search of the woman he had fallen in love with that day.

As stupid as it sounds, it worked out for them in the end. The two got married, settled down, and had kids—"Dumb and Dumber" (Jacob and Tucker), her two older brothers, and later Suzie. She wishes it didn't work out as easily as it had did.

Call it teenage woes, but Suzie despises almost every aspect of her life. She hates being stuck in a no-name town. She hates her parents breathing down her neck, even more so because they both work at the local high school as a teacher-counselor combo. She hates her blockhead brothers for always starting bullshit and being a general nuisance. The only thing Suzie ever looked forward to was her yearly school breaks, where she could travel to her grandparents in Sitka, Alaska and help her grandfather with his fishing hauls. At least there she could feel respected—useful, even—and be able to get away from all the bullshit she had to deal with at home.

Unfortunately, 2024 had other plans for Suzie. Her grandfather had a sudden stroke, which led to his passing. The person she cared the most for had been ripped away, and Suzie has been crushed ever since. She's mad at the world, and isn't afraid to let others know it now that her parents made the choice to keep her home this final school year rather than let her say her goodbyes.

Extracurricular Activities: Suzie used to play soccer and softball prior to her teenage years, but hasn't touched an extracurricular since.

Growing up in a poor community of Los Angelas California, Marabeth always had to fight for attention and to get whatever she wanted. Her single mother, Gweneth, always taught her that no matter what happens to them, somebody else always had it worse. Seeing her mother's positive attitude in any situation taught Marabeth that there is always a silver lining to every cloud.

As she got older, she grew an affinity towards technology. She learned how to hack her mother's bank and soon they were rolling in money. Marabeth loved the feeling of easy money, but always held a bit of guilt of taking from others. So, any time she hacked a company, she would make an anonymous donation, usually to animal shelters. When she was fourteen she was busted for the first time. She was sent to Juvy and given a light sentence. That didn't stop her hacking days. These days, she gets paid to change peoples' grades, print out the answer keys for tests, anything to earn her money.
