Wilds can sense other wilds even when they've possessed someone, yeah?

@SporkoBug If you’re close enough, yes. If you can see Val, you'll be able to tell right away.

But someone like Wren would be able to sense or something like that too? The same for Val with Wrens' wendigo.

Mercy and Wendigo will be able to detect each other's presences right away. Wren and Val won't know unless they are told by their Wild counterparts.

Does that kind of make sense? :)

So I can figure out the direction to go with the next post...

@estylwen I think Val's going to fight given the current situation(Wendigo-looking monster just snuck into his tent). It can be kept short, but do you think its better if the fight is ended by threatening the Umbra-gals(name only for reference testing purposes) or I dont mind losing the fight with Sporko(new binding with a wild and such).

If it is easier for everyone, Val can suppress the urge for violence, I'm just basing my current idea over the gut reaction.

Thoughts? From everyone

Wrens' not fully transformed btw, whenever Wendigo takes over he gets little Branch/Antlers from his temples. He can go into full Wendigo Form but it hurts Wren very badly.

@Herald Good thoughts! The idea is that the scene is very flexible either way. I would say go with what you are inclined to, fighting and then threatening the girls. It would be interesting to see how both sides would match up anyway.

Hard part is figuring out how Mercy can manifest in the building without reducing it to rubble around everyone.

@rabidbacon If you have thoughts on this(I have no idea if Mercy can turn into a smaller version or not), I can put off my post until after yours. Maybe Le Frey's Wild and Mercy can kaiju battle outside? blame Val for getting captured which has Mercy go back inside his body? Just throwing darts at a board here.

@Sporkobug Since this is technically PvP, I'll send you my post before I put it in the IC thread for your approval. The fight will be short, Val isn't inclined to get three people killed when it looks like you guys are trying to capture this group alive. Better to live a few more hours, and escape later if needed.

@Herald My concept for Mercy was that he is kind of like an insatiable void / dinosaur in the sense that he keeps getting bigger and bigger, and thus, he needs more and more to sustain himself, but finds it harder to hunt due to his size and increasing need. Which is why he needs Val as much as Val needs him. I'll say that he can't turn smaller, but he can help in situations where he can't materialize by obnoxiously coaching / bickering with Val internally (kinda like Venom lmao). I have, like, a small hope that he eventually becomes some weird mentor figure who inadvertently helps your guy grow and heal, despite all his murderous energy and evil tendencies haha!

Kaiju battle sounds like a blast! I'm also curious to know the serpent's motivations.

Yesss love the ideas going around here.

Inu was aware of the Ghost Corp's love of throwing out to-be soldiers in the hopes they get possessed, and took advantage of that. And because there is a lot of pain and suffering that goes along with all the fighting Ghost Corp does, Inu certainly gets their fill. They are very defensive of their charge. In regards to meeting other Wilds, Inu is more keen towards generating suffering, and will fight other possessed in the hopes of having more to eat. However, they can be reasoned with if backed into a corner...

@Abstract Proxy Yes, I felt it would be the most appropriate. There are three tents: One with VV and A, one with Val (Mercy), and one with Changer of Forms. Le Frey is in the tent with VV and A, while Wren is in the tent with Val (Mercy). Changer of Forms has the advantage of not being attacked just yet. :>
