Important announcement!

Now that all of the character sheets are more or less completed, I have decided that the first GM post will be approximately on Monday or Tuesday if you are in a timezone ahead of mine. I'm looking at you Lunar. However, it could come sooner if I can get myself together so keep an eye out.

And Citrus, just throw your sheet in the tab whenever you figure out the hometown stuff since you more or less have the character idea there.

Sure! The 17 year old energetic psychic guy would be an interesting contrast with the quiet ghost kid. They both want to be free, so it's not like they're total opposites either.

Oh, I had a question about the progression and things, as I thought of something wfter being invited to travel in a group just now.

How will things like story-progression and adventuring be handled in general? Like, can The Prince just veer off route 1 and go fairy-hunting in the wilderness between towns as long as he likes, while a group consisting of Little One, Muscle Psychic and Eldritch Goth pushes on and only hones in on doing the "Main Quest"?

Do you want us to try and stick togther in pairs at least, or are we free to roam around alone? When someone pushes the "plot" forward, will it "force" players lagging behind to move forward to? Or are we free to just... Wander around and explore the Pokemon World and Region that you made, at our leisure and do as we please?

Primarily you are free to do whatever you want whether it’s by yourself or in a group. Some side quests are related to the main story while some are just completely unrelated. I will never fast track players to catch up to the plot of the game. It’s more like once players reach a certain benchmark I may throw in some plot that involves everyone. However there are many avenues where you may just stumble into the main plot by accident too.

There is nothing stopping you from going to various locations. It’s almost all entirely open.

There's nothing stopping you from wondering around, hopping from one side quest to another, only getting your 3rd pokemon after visiting the next town (once everyone else has a full team,) and barely following along with anything happening....
