Roxy looked at the words on the door. She wouldn't have knew what the big word was if Jacque hadn't read it. She wondered exactly what a simulation was. But she wasn't going to ask. No sense in letting the others known about her lack of education. She was smart in other ways. "Well this should be interesting."

"I bet interesting will be the least of our problems when we go in." Hikari said, leaning against a wall. "I bet this will be something to make us work together, but I don't think that we can." she was sincere. There was no way this group could ever work together. They'd be lucky if Leatherskin or whatever didn't kill the lot of them when they annoyed him one too many times.

John listened to the others. Teamwork. Not his best skill. Not a skill he possessed at all. He had gone through most of his life thinking about himself. Though maybe it was time for a different approach to life. That philosophy had obviously landed him with a bunch of psychopaths and serious psychological problems regarding his past. "Come on. We did it back in LA with Hellhound. I'm sure we can handle whatever the government throws at us," John said in a rare bout of sincere positivity.

Roxy snorted. "Well if that is working together then we should have no problems. But I think their going to want us to actually accomplish the goal without the destruction and without a teammate being knocked unconious. I bet they want us to be aware of each others strength and weakness so we can cover each others asses. At least that is how teamwork usually works."

Jacque shrugged and stared at the door instead of the others, "As much as I hate to admit it, if the goal really is to get us to work together, then it'd be better that we learned to do it in a controlled environment rather than in the thick of live combat.". The gator man was uneasy now, John's mention of HellHound made him cringe as he recalled how he'd gone about taking the villain down, then tried to finish him off much to the displeasure of Hikari. Jacque mentally noted that out of all of the Delta squad members, she seemed to be the most wary of him, she may not have been obvious about it, but he'd seen her throw a few glances his way, first when the team was introduced to one another at HQ, when he'd charged in to attack HellHound, then again after he'd nearly decapitated HellHound. The last two instances may have given her sufficient reason to doubt him, but even before it seemed as though she thought he was a time bomb waiting to go off. The gator man tilted his head back and exhaled heavily, he was thinking to hard about it, perhaps this exercise would calm her down, and in turn make things less stressful on him.

Hikari was silent. So they were supposed to give up their weaknesses? Yeah, right. She didn't need them or anyone else. This stupid organization didn't realize how much of a mistake they'd made when they put her in a group. She didn't work with others for a reason. They were unpredictable. She needed to know the outcome of every situation to minimize cuts and scrapes. Other simply ruined her plans. She needed control and calm. However, the others didn't play by the average rules that Hikari had set up for herself. "Feh." she laughed. "I'm just waiting until they realize that I'm better off working alone. We all don't fit together at all. The best we can hope for is that you all stay out of each other's way."

"That attitude will only get of these wonderful sessions. How many missions do you think you can accomplish alone? How many lone heroes had the world known?" Roxy asked leaning against the wall. We all work well alone, but none of us are perfect. If we were would have never been caught. Nor would we be here. Admit that sometimes you need others and all of our lives will be simpler."

Hikari didn't say anything for a minute. "Gator boy nearly killed me. One slice from one of your knives and I can't do anything impressive except bleed profusely." she told them. "Batman works better alone and so do I. Because if I mess up, it's on me. I don't want no one's blood on my hands except mine." she turned her head away from the group, now ignoring them. It probably would shut them up for a while.

Jacque went ridged as Hikari mentioned him, "Nearly killed you? I was being as gentle as I could given the situation at the time. It isn't exactly easy to control my strength when i'm like that you know. Unlike you people, I have to treat everything like its a goddamned eggshell when I go to touch something." he spat indignantly. Jacque strode over to Hikari, closing the distance in two steps before looming over her, "I don't like this any more than you do, but we're here now, and no amount of whining about how you'd be better alone will change that. So how about we all just suck it up and get this over with, then you can go back to avoiding everyone like the plague.".

"Whatever." Hikari replied, trying to not show that she was scared. The guy she'd managed to tick off turned into a monster that ate people. "But you brought up weaknesses and I told you mine. I can't be cut and bleeding. I don't stop bleeding as fast as you guys."

"I'm not good at hand to hand combat. My knives are my best weapon. I can throw them fast and accurately. So I'm better for ranged attacks." Roxy shared. She nodded her head to acknowledge Hikari's contribution. "I don't heal faster then a normal person."

Hart slowly followed the blue line through the house. She assumed everyone else was already there. Walking into the hallway she found all the others except Nic waiting outside the door. She smiled. "Hey guys! Ready for this? It's gonna be fun!" She didn't really seem to notice that no one was in a really good mood. It was just sort of her way to be optimistic about everything. That's how she got through everything she'd been through. If she hadn't functioned that way she probably wouldn't have been alive today. Her short conversation with John had really set her to thinking. He was an orphan just like her. But he got away from the orphanages and the endless stream of parents looking for children to adopt. He didn't know how her life had affected her. He'd only screamed about his. She looked at the others, pushing away the thoughts of her past. They depressed her. "So... do we go in?"

Jacque felt a wave of relief was over him as Hart came in with the same aura of optimality she always seemed to show, clearly completely oblivious to the tension that was in the room. "We're just waiting on Nic and Krait now I think. We're passing the time by discussing our strengths and weaknesses.", it was more or less the truth now that the argument seemed to have passed. Jacque cleared his throat, "Which I guess brings us to me. When i'm transformed, my scales can repel small arms fire and bladed weaponry. But a rifle or shotgun could still cause quite a bit of damage, along with intense heat or cold. Then theres my strength, which I mentioned before makes it hard to complete delicate tasks.". There was another weakness Jacque failed to mention intentionally, partially because of the great amount of shame it brought him, and partially because it would likely be a sure fire way to make sure no one trusted him on a mission.

John nodded as Jaque listed his strengths and weaknesses. "I guess I'll go next he said,": looking off into space. "Strengths. Well I'm a genius. Like legit, 170 point IQ. And, I can lift up to about a ton of stuff with my telekinesis. Weaknesses. I'm an asshole. And I've got some serious psychological issues with my past." John said, a chuckle escaping from his lips. John had no issue listing off his weaknesses. He knew what they were. Dealing with them, well, that was another matter entirely. Therapy for the fourth time wasn't something that was on his bucket list.

"Weaknesses huh? I suppose some for more than others." Krait said, as she came around the corner, hearing few last sentences John had said. She was looking exactly the same as before with the same outfit and the same sword sheathed on her back. Of course the new gear under the outfit wasn't visible and it was supposed to be that way. Small, invisible, element of surprise.

"I thought I would be a little late, but it seems 'Oracle' Isn't much for actual backbone to keep on it's own orders so seems like there's one weakness as well." Krait said, her tone having another level of confidence from her new support. She then rolled her finger at John. "But please, do continue, don't let me be in the way." she said, like she wouldn't even have anything to add to conversation about weaknesses.

"Oh the list goes on. I'm scared of spiders and death. I'm probably one of the most egotistical people on the planet, though oddly enough I can recognize my weaknesses," John added. He was switching to a more sarcastic tone after Krait prompted him to reveal more than he had initially desired. He didn't want these people knowing too many things that they could exploit if the need ever arose. He however had already thought ahead on that subject with the others. He had files with their names on them that were aching for info. He knew that a good amount of his teammates thought a lot like him. He had considered going rogue more than once before the other day. He was sure some of them had too.

Hikari barely listened. Why was she even remotely trusting them with any information? If she was lucky they wouldn't use it against her, but Hikari was never that lucky. Never. She hadn't been lucky getting parents that cared, and she hadn't been lucky enough to avoid that dumb sting operation. "Where have you been Krait? Off practicing? You'll need it." Hikari was trying to cause an incident. She wanted to see how easy it was to push them all away, one by one. Krait would be easy enough, just insult her pride. If they were anything alike, Krait would never allow that. John was a crybaby that it would take a push about his cowardice and idiocy. Jacqueโ€ฆ they were halfway enemies anyway. It just took a few more key words and even Hart would hate her. Then Hikari could be aloneโ€ฆ like always. She didn't mind it. She told herself that even when her parents pushed her away she didn't mind. She was better off alone.

Krait turned to look at Hikari as she heard her name out loud. "...I hope for your sake Oracle ain't pairing us up for sparring or you might get some weight under your name, Runner." Krait answered, not thinking anything clever to come back with in time. She didn't stay put however, being so excited to test her new gear that she just went for the door and tried to open it to get into the training room few times... the door was locked. Typical.

Krait just grunted once, turning around to look at the others again, crossing her arms as she tapped her other finger to her arm nervously. Oracle was putting quite lot of weight on the thoughts of this whole 'delta squad' idea being a complete farce, the no-goods of the group didn't even need to add for it.

Hart looked at each of them in turn, her brow furrowed. "I don't necessarily think we have any weaknesses." She looked up at Jacque. "I mean maybe you probably couldn't dial a phone or hold a teacup in gator form. But that's what the rest of us are for. We each have different strengths. When paired together and working well, we can have no weaknesses." She smiled slightly. "I think we'd be unstoppable if we worked at it. It's just the mental mountain we all have to climb to get to that point." She felt a bit preachy, but somebody had to be the voice of reason here.

Hikari looked at Hart, surprised for a moment at her tenacity. Hart was always so... hopeful about them. She was always expecting them to come through, no matter what. She hadn't really had anyone believe in her like that. "Hart," Hikari said. "Why do you care if we succeed or fail so much? I'm waiting for the day we all separate, but you don't mind." Hikari's stare was intense, like she was studying a new language. "Why?"
