[OOC] Times Have Changed, Camp Doesn't

Ok, so I am going to once more apologize for my absence, life has been... rough, to say the least the past few weeks. The past few days I have been busy dealing with Insurance and this Obamacare ordeal. Then, of course parental problems, parental marridal problems, parental care problems, etc, etc, etc, etc, etc.

I, Austin Napier, do solemnly swear upon my long hair and my quill, that I shall write a post tomorrow forged only of the grandest reply and deepest emotion. It shall entail a section for each and every soul I have created within this tome, and it shall surely add it's mix of issues, emotion, and problems. It will assuredly be a long post, filled with a ripe essence of creativity. and I shall be sure to write this fanatical episode early in the hours of dawn.(It will also have a wee bit oft gore, violence, blood, and disembowelment.)

The sound of a clock ticking and the soft scratches of the quill tip brushing over the scroll filled the room adding to the anticipation and longing of those watching on as he continued to write out his promises to his people, his hand reaching out so that he could once again dab the tip into the inkwell with all intentions of making his mark on the world that was Camp Half Blood permanent and official. Birds chirped softly as they flew among the tree's and buildings working together on going about their everyday lives outside the window while inside a momentous occasion was looming, soon to be shared with all those involved. Placing his quill to the side to rest he stood up brushing himself off as he gained the attention of all those who had come so far to be with him on such an important day in history, delicately he lifted the scroll up high standing tall as his strong proud voice echoed through the room gaining the attention of all who heard it,

Placing it back down against the polished wooden desk he once again held the quill confidently within his caring and gentle grasp as he signed his name along the bottom big and proud so that all could see. With their true level headed companion back in their company the crowd stood from their seats applauding and celebrating his return into their loving embrace. And they all lived happily ever after...

Well when I left I had him standing in front of the Hypnos cabin talking about how things would be different no naps no sleeping in. He's the child of Hypnos that hardly ever sleeps it's his character quirk.

I hate to be "that guy", but Nikolai, are you actually reading the IC? Because you just described it as sunny and warm outside in your post... when in mine, and many before it, we have defined a storm in the camp. A pretty good thunderstorm with chilly winds and heavy winds.

So, you might want to take a bit and read the posts, before posting.

Hey North for Chris' super awesome new sword "silverlight" I thought silver blades would have no effect on Greek monsters. I thought it had to be celestial bronze or imperial gold?

Celestial Bronze and Imperial Gold are actually just two common material for these reasons:

- Celestial Bronze is what allows a weapon to b disguised as another mundane item.

-Celestial Bronze is relatively lightweight and easy to train with, as well as fight.

-Imperial Gold is imbued with Godly properties, often only used for the rarest of weapons.(Spear of Destiny, Poseidon's Trident, Zeus' Thunderbolt.)

-Imperial Gold also possess a sort of "teleporting" effect. (I.e. This is why you see tales of Weapons appearing before a great hero when he needs one the most in his travels.)

Any form of blade can damage the beast, but Celestial Bronze and Imperial Gold have unique qualities. Silver, as it has been said for many thing throughout history and mythology, has always been said to have properties of it's own. I am sure everyone knows the more common stuff, such as Lycans and Vampires and other similar creatures, but in Mythology Silver is said to affect something different in each Religion. In the Greek and Roman Pantheon(Sister Religions would obviously have similar details.) Silver is said to be the best weapon to fight Apparitions, Spirits, Ghost, and other Spectral beings.
