@Arista Missed something, reread the rules.
Alrighty then, characters as promised.Character Summary
Name: Veronica Bryant
Age: Twenty Seven
Zodiac: Gemini
Ethnicity: Caucasian. Irish-American
Gender: Female
Occupation: CartoonistAppearance
Height: 5'6"
Weight: Rude to ask. Like so rude. But it's like less than 150 but not by a whole lot?
Build: Is there a word for 'has some chub in the thighs'? Let's go with a little pear shaped.
Eyes: Blue
Hair: Muddy Brown
Skin Tone: A fair tanned pale.
Tattoos/Scars/Piercings: Veronica has a tattoo of Snoopy on her right shoulder. No piercings. No scars that ever lingered.
Personal Style: It's quite clear that Veronica is not exactly someone that has a great eye for fashion, but that's never really bothered her. She's not in the industry or anything. Hers is more comfortable rather than practical or stylish, often wearing casual clothing that's mismatched and frequently wearing the same shirt or pants more than one day in a row.
Her favorite articles of clothing are shorts and skirts or really anything that lets her show off her legs, which in her eyes are the only thing physically that she can be proud of. Her shorts tend to be of the denim variety and her skirts tend to be flared. She never styles her hair in any particular way, just letting it flow naturally, though she does brush it in the mornings. She does have some standards after all.PsychologySloppy * Sarcastic * Independent * Rude
Sexuality: Bisexual
Relationship Status: Single for the better part of twenty seven years now
Personality: There's a very clear reason as to why Veronica has had such difficulty in having dates call back after the first time out and it might have something to do with how she acts and speaks. Veronica is a woman who missed the memo on certain social graces, such as covering her mouth when she has to belch or making rude, often vulgar, comments. It's sort of childish, her behavior, but her stubborn refusal to change herself has pretty much dug her own grave when it comes to the dating world.
But that doesn't really bother her, she's happy enough with who she is and really only considers dating because often it's a way to get a free dinner out of it. Or at least a cheaper one when they go Dutch about it. Her sense of humor is more tongue in cheek than outright witty, responding in sarcastic tones and searching for the right sorts of puns to fit a situation. Some find that annoying since Veronica always wants to be the one to come off as funny when her sarcasm is more mean spirited than anything else.History
History: Veronica was born in Waterford, Ireland but her father moved the family to America when Veronica was just about ready to enter kindergarten. She is an only child and in that way was rather spoiled as a kid, with her parents both working and providing to ensure that there was always food on the table and presents for a birthday. The Bryants took frequent trips to Ireland to see the extended family but Veronica never really seemed to get along with her cousins and grandparents, seeing the trips as nothing more than boring vacations.
The landscapes of her home country were what led to her picking up the drawing utensils in the first place and by the time she was entering high school she was spending more time doodling than doing homework. She wasn't a dumb kid by any stretch, but she only ever skated by, maintaining her middle of the road average due to her caring more about drawing than whatever happened in history or literature. Her college experience was two years before she decided that it just wasn't for her.
So with no degree, Veronica moved back in with her parents where she lived until she was twenty six. During her early twenties she was forced to work minimum wage jobs, working her way up the ladder at a McDonald's until she got a letter in the mail informing her that her cartoon 'Swingles' was going to be syndicated in national newspapers. The comic strip is a humorous take on being single in the modern world, drawing frequently from her own experiences. The hardest part of her new job was meeting the deadlines, daily strips really take more time than she initially thought. Still, the job was enough to live off of, much to the joy of her parents, and it comes with enough free time for her to indulge in her other hobbies.
Veronica would like to take her drawing talents to the realm of graphic novels, which she works on in her spare time, but so far no one's interested in publishing anything other than collections of Swingles strips.Extras

Name:David Sandoval
Age: 30
Zodiac: Virgo
Ethnicity: Hispanic
Gender: Male
Occupation: VeterinarianAppearance
Height: 6'0
Weight: 178 ;bs
Build: Healthy
Eyes: Deep Brown
Hair: Black
Skin Tone: Light Brown
Tattoos/Scars/Piercings: None whatsover.
Personal Style: David carries himself like a professional, preferring more formal attire during the working week and more casual formal during weekends, such as nice turtlenecks and khakis; though his footwear is often just sneakers rather than loafers or the like. He walks around and is on his feet often and comfort trumps style when it comes to feet. His style trades more in appearance rather than outright comfort, but when your name is on a building sign then appearances matter.
If there is anything inconsistent it's his hair. He enjoys having facial hair, a goatee or fuzz fan, but often the responsibility of keeping it groomed makes it more work than it's truly worth. His hair is usually kept short because letting it grow out would just show how shaggy it can get even with combing and frequent washing. Around his eyes are bags of someone who doesn't get nearly as much sleep as they would like.PsychologyAnalytical * Calm * Well Spoken * Dependable
Sexuality: Heterosexual
Relationship Status: Widower
Personality: Befitting one who people trust to save and inspect their beloved house pets, David is of a sharp mind and a sharper tongue. He carries himself professionally in practically every endeavor, from keeping a rapport with clients and co workers to interactions with new people; David is always one to appreciate a firm handshake and strong eye contact. He fancies himself a problem solver, but that really consists of him overthinking any given situation since he doesn't wish to rush into things.
No one has really seen him lose his temper or his patience, always forcing himself to smile and bear it even when people are making it incredibly difficult to do. David doesn't seem able to say the word no, which has often led to people in the know taking advantage of him. A well acted sob story gets him right where it counts.History
History: David was born in Santa Fe, New Mexico to parents that entered the country with work visas before becoming full citizens in their own right. David is the oldest of three siblings, with Hope being his younger sister and Hector being his younger brother. Being the older brother in the family he often took it upon himself to look out for his siblings when his parents couldn't be there to do so. While they have in time come to appreciate what he was doing, at the time he simply came off as needlessly overprotective.
Originally, David had intended to enter law school and pursue a legal career, but his Freshman year of college saw him meeting the woman who would become his wife, Carmen, who was going in the nursing field. David made the rash decision to follow along, switching his field of study to veterinary medicine. He and Carmen were married shortly after getting their degrees and David having a position at a local veterinarian's office.
Carmen unfortunately passed away after a drunk driver ran a red light and crashed into her vehicle. David never quite recovered, not getting back out there and taking the loss rather hard. He became focused on his career and earned a reputation with the community. He believes he's finally ready to move on, but isn't quite sure if he's still got a chance to find what he lost.Extras
Character Quote: "It's not being selfless, it's just doing the right thing."
Theme Song: Heart of Gold by Neil Young
Anything Else: Raised Catholic but never really stuck with it. If anything he considers himself agnostic these days.
