@Dragoknighte - After Mali sends the voicemail and the images, it takes a little bit for the landlord to get back to her. He doesn't bother calling, he just sends a text -
"Who the fuck do you think I am? The cops? You have two people in your buildings that actually work for the city. Why don't you give them a ring. You know people that do shit in the city other than fix exploding doors and pulling enchilada sauce out of rugs? Talk to Joseph Cooper and Cecily Ashworth." - Well apparently he ain't going to be any help but he did give Mali two names of people in Boston Heights that might be able to help. Granted, there always is that business card Mali got yesterday for helping that kid... What was the name on the card again? Relic?
@Scallop - The cop nods a bit and finally a cruiser pulls up. He bids Felix goodbye and hops into the car with his partner, who is very late picking him up. The cop is yelling a bit at his partner, he didn't want to have to wait at all but then something interesting gets yelled out - "Well I had to deal with the fucking shrink, who was late. Not my fucking fault!" - His partner was in therapy or was it something else? The look on the partners face is agitated at best, the look on the cop that was just bribed goes white. Something is amiss in Justice, but then again, isn't it always.
Ronni
Location: Apartment 3C -> Rollar Derby Rink
Ronni nodded and smiled towards Riley as they headed out, looking around the hallway of the apartment building a bit while she locked up, his hand along the back of his jeans, ready to pull out his pistol if he needed to. Things were getting hairy to say the least and the last thing he wanted was for anyone to get the drop on them. Stepping outside with her he wandered over to the passenger side of her car and hopped in.
Taking her phone he grinned a bit. "Aww, and here I wanted to tell all my friends I got a date with a hot shot music star," he laughed as he entered in his number into her phone and grabbed her; entering it into his own. "Listen, we get separated, you call me," he said in a serious tone before handing her back her phone.
Leaning back in his seat he looked around, rolling down the window some before lighting up a cigarette and taking a long drag from it. Oh well at least it wasn't a joint. Granted he wanted one, really damn bad, but he wanted his head clear as well. He had been to the Rollar Derby before, it wasn't exactly a good date spot. It was a run down old warehouse that had been turned into a rink down by the docks. The people there were tough and usually looking for a fight, the only reason too many didn't break out is because they took it out on each other in the actual game, but that didn't mean there was never a fight. There were fights and more than one person had died there. He had to go though, he felt it owed it to Danica.
Looking over at Riley he sighed a bit. "Hope you don't mind, trying to calm my nerves," he said as he held up the cigarette. Looking away he stared out the window. "This city is shit you know, no one should live here. People dying left and right," he said as he pointed towards an old brownstone as they passed and paramedics were carrying out two body bags.
Once they pulled up to the Derby he looked around for a minute before glancing over to Riley. "Remember, stay close. If anyone asks, you are here with me. Don't let anyone think you are alone here."
Alicia Gonzalez
Location: Queensguard Industries RnD Industrial Complex - The Diamond District
Alicia did what she could to figure out what was on the boxes and where they were being taken but the footage only went do far and there was a lot of dead areas in the footage. The boxes were loaded up into an unmarked van and it was quickly lost in the traffic of Justice, heading out to the high way but the ramp it was one when it was lost came out and split into four different directions, there was no telling just where it went.
The woman however climbed into her BMW and headed off, Alicia was able to grab the plates and run them. Was for the woman herself, she wasn't hiding who she was it seemed. And in the end she ended up back at her office in the Diamond District. On the boxes Alicia was able to grab a few things, but nothing that was leading anywhere as of yet. Queensgaurd was all over the boxes, but that was a known thing. There were a lot of numbers but they didn't seem to make sense. They were not manifestation numbers that one would use. They looked like... Case Numbers. Most were too faded to actually read through the monitor but she was able to pull - SGJFE-1432 and 4827-IB-861.
Looking over at her father she groaned.
"Papi, you worry too much. Anyways, tonight I have a game," she said as she rolled her eyes. Leave it to her dad to worry about her and cookie, she couldn't fault the man but to bring in someone else? She just hoped it was someone she could tolerate working with. There was a reason it was her and Lorna out here.
Risa Couri
Location:Ambulance Headed For Justice Memorial -> Justice Memorial
"Alright, keep that arm ready in case we need it," Amy said as she nodded towards the EMT in the back with them. He radioed ahead to the hospital to tell them to prep the OR for an incoming patient and to get B+ blood ready and waiting on them. Thankfully B+ wasn't a rare blood type. It was rarer than some but hopefully with the explosion not many had needed it ahead of Risa. Amy perked a brow towards Lucas as she looked over and saw him pull out a small box. Normally she would have pulled off some smart ass comment about how this wasn't the time or place for him to be proposing, or that he might want to wait until she can actually tell him to bugger off but the look in his eyes made her keep her mouth shut. Amy was a bit of a bitch but she wasn't a heartless cunt.
Risa just lay there, her hand limp against Lucas's as her head rolled slightly from side to side as the ambulance kept moving through the streets of Justice. The ride felt like it was taking forever but when someone's life is on the line each second that ticks by can feel like an hour. It was all relative. Amy kept working on Risa, the translators pulse kept falling lower and lower as her blood pressure dropped. There was not much that could be done in the back of the ambulance, just trying to keep her stable was taking ever means they had.
The vehicle pulled up to the back of the Er and the door swung open as the Er staff gathered around. Amy jumping out of the back, her hands covered in Risa's blood. "Up to Or, I need five units of B+ blood set and ready to go when we get there. Is the anesthesiologist ready?" Amy barked as they pulled Risa out the back and started wheeling her into the hospital.
"Yes Doc, he is up there and the rest of the team is scrubbed and waiting on you," the nurse said as she took the IV bag from the paramedic, rushing along side Amy as Risa was rolled down the hallway. As they reached the doors that lead to the OR suites Amy turned and pressed a bloodied hand firmly against Lucas's chest.
"You can't go back, stay here," she said as they kept moving Risa passed the doors.
Amy was about to say something else when she heard the nurse yell out to her. "Doctor! We lost the pulse," the woman bellowed and Amy dashed through the doors. The crew had stopped and Amy jumped up onto the gurney, straddling Risa as she started compression's on Risa's chest. The last thing that could be heard as they started wheeling Risa into the OR and the doors to the suite unit closed was..
"Clear!"
