Seventeen years have come and gone. Genetics, time, and training has honed him into a handsome looking male. Naturally Maema dons his clothing in hopes of being prepared for combat at any time. He’s accustomed to wearing tshirts of varying colors underneath different types of outerwear (usually some form of gakuren). Darker hued trousers fall over his legs, while a deep blue sash ties around his waist. Unnaturally black haidate pieces--lined with gold--protects his thighs. Off-duty he’s more or less the same. He doesn’t feel the need to be fashionable so he can come off as rugged and simple. Either way he’s always wearing the same ankle-high, heavy-duty sandals. A optimal mixture between combat boots and ninjawear. A cherished item flows under both his sash and haidate, a mantle of sorts colored crimson with gold fringes lining its edges.

While others were plowing in the fields of their farms Maema was being tortured by his father’s training methods. His face is in conflict with the roughcast of his body. Where lean, hard muscle are pressed tight between necessary fat and skin on his body; his face is kinda of long and elegant. The only fierce part to his face is the sharpness of his golden eyes, hidden behind his dull expression.

Aforementioned his body is near-perfection. It's been honed for mobility and strength, to soak up and adapt to predictable disturbances on the battlefield. His sleek body looks unimpressive in clothing, however, beneath said clothes the muscles behind the skin are visible. Four highly developed abs fall into a flat stomach as if the rest were abandoned. The lower half of his legs are thin in appearance, making the top half seem bulky in comparison. All in all, Maema could be seen as the typical ninja but atypical man.

He learned the value of being fearless days after finding his mother’s head on the porch. To step to the challenge without second-guessing yourself or those around you inspired a kind of fear and admiration. That lesson didn’t take long to become concrete. The next one did. It was a lesson of analytical schooling, one that guided him well in deciding if he should approach a situation with reckless abandon or patience. He can go either way when lives aren’t on the line. When they are a preternatural impulsiveness springs to life.

Maema wants to be a saviour; he’s seen the ruthless of the Hamajo Confederation, and has vowed to never just sit by again. This, unfortunately isn’t coupled with some disregard for his own life. Not in the slightest. He has taught himself to be apathetic to others, to toss aside a hopeless situation. That’s not something he’s proud of but his father was always a very grave man.

Outside of the norm, outside of bloodshed and war; one might catch him smiling. Maybe even laughing but it's rare. His life has been undoubtedly hard. Growing up in Kumo-province taught a valuable lesson: not everyone is looked after by the Confederation. Because of this Maema could be consider a cynical youth. He looks at every situation with caution and finds most people, specifically those full of cheer, extremely annoying. Despite being indifferent to most people, Maema has a hard time seeing others suffer. His father calls it “White Knight Syndrome” and says it has no place in the world of ninjas. Maema calls it saving himself.

He sees it that way sometimes.

When he was child he didn’t get along with others. In fact he hated them for rejecting him when he actually tried to be friends with them. Maema learns his social lessons quickly. He engraves them harshly into himself and makes sure not to make the same mistakes as before. If nothing else can be said about him, it's that he can hold horrifically long grudges.

❖ History--

Birthright
The story goes that a wandering samurai found his true love in the middle of blood and tears. Supposedly he was renowned throughout the countries as the “The Pristine Dragon” a warrior whose blade struck true more times than not. A sellsword whose assistance and friends gave victory to those who hired him. His name was Yasu Nisshoku and he fell in love with a traveling philanthropist. She was not perfect but she inspired him to do things for the greater good. When Haruhi retired to Kumogakure, Yasu was behind her, hoping to settle down and build a family.

Years afterwards they gave birth to a boy. They named him Maema in concert with the loose-theme of their own names. They took on Yasu’s family name: Nisshoku and almost instantly he was given the moniker “Dragon child” by Yasu friends and “Goddess’ son” by Haruhi’s friends and family.

The boy’s youth was interrupted by the Hamajo Confederate taking over Kumogakure. The province changed for the worst afterwards. It became flooded with poverty and eventually, through some unknown process became a farming province. It was an ugly adjustment but Yasu and Haruhi did so without open complaints. For a time.

Decision
While Maema was working the fields, training, and attending school; his mother was busy stirring up trouble. She didn’t agree with the Hamajo Confederation. She fought against it with political movements; playing on the different causes to start a small alliance behind her humanitarian rallying points. Yasu watched this behind the scenes, warning her to be careful. She thought she had been. She was secretive about her growing rebellion but that would prove useless against the Confederation’s resources. The last Maema would see of his mother was her body’s gruesome decapitation, her head tilted on their home’s porch.

It was covered-up to be some Hamajo radical but Yasu had his own suspicions. He tempered his rage into productive action. When his comrades came back with information that suggested a Hamajo higher-up had quelled the Kumo-province uprising, it was then that Yasu thought to act. That was quickly snuffed out once he learned the merciless truth. That numerous, inconspicuous deaths that occurred only months after Haruhi’s own. It worsened when he lost all contact with a number of his friends.

Afterwards Yasu was struck with depression.

He redouble Maema’s training. From physical conditioning to an understanding of topography. There was a range of other studies that he was required to soak up but none of them were quite as effective as sparring and mental games. Years traversed faster than he thought and before long, Maema was a Chunin in the Hamajo Confederation.

Maema’s relationship with his father is strained. He greatly admires the man his father use to be. The fun-loving, dramatic man that was a reluctant-hero. Nowadays the two of them greet each other in alien apathetic forms. As if too much emotion could cause a catastrophe. Sometimes he resents his father for giving in to the pain.

He wants to hurt the Hamajo Confederation and wouldn’t mind returning his father’s smile in the process. He fears what the world may look like if the Hamajo Confederation went unchecked.

Maema attacks with unrelenting, self-perilously, and overkilling force. He utilizes his kekkei-tota in conjunction with his taijutsu, bojutsu, and limited ninjutsu to decimate all. When he can’t find those kinks he doggedly attacks until he’s weighed the opposition down to near nothing. The thing is, this dogged pursuit is counterproductive considering his kekkei-tota runs down his chakra reservoirs quickly. His legs have a weak constitution allowing rather easy and effective damage to them. Another weakness is his supposed Kekkai Tota which he has a resistance to but is still affected by.

Suiginton (Mercury Release) is more or less exactly what it sounds like. The control, creation, and manipulation of the silvery-white substance. The liquid metal is poisonous, causing severe damage to the senses, muscles, and nerves. Mostly producing tremors, physical weakness, and a cruel disorientation in most beings. Suiginton is a Kekkei Tota that combines Earth, Water, and Lightning chakra natures.

❖ Strengths

Maema’s Suiginton kekkei tota comes in two forms: the luminous solid weapons and the noxious gas. Small applications of other metals from the earth can harden it into physical weapons, such as spears, swords, and hammers. He can also transform the mercury into a gas by molding the chakra inside to do so. This could also happen if heat beyond 220 degrees celsius/428 degrees fahrenheit took hold of it. It takes a single exposure of the mercury gas for the tremors and nausea to take effect. A second dosage brings a gradual weakness in their muscles , along with peripheral blurring. The third round will result in a severe impairment and pain that could cripple the opponent. The fourth will result in death.

Suiginton or Mercury release allows for versatility for both offense and defense. It gives Maema a certain assurance but can also make him over reliant on it. Unfortunately, mercury release is a liquid and can be diluted by Water Release jutsu. While extreme forces or wind-jutsus can blow it away rather easily making him expand more chakra.

Once injured they both burst into mercury gas, giving his opponent(s) half-a-dosage of mercury poison for each clone.

The insides of the scabbard gives the weapon its shape and intricate designs. The grass thin, blade is beautified by a thumb-sized circle near the base and a serpentine dragon flying towards it on the flat. When cut by the blade the opposition contracts mercury poisoning. Each cut can act as a small dosage to the opponent. A skin-deep cut can act as a single dosage, a muscle deep cut can act as two dosages. However a stab to an internal organ can act as three dosages. This blade is solidified with other minerals using earth chakra but the blade and point is lined with mercury. So to be honest, it can be destroyed with a blow strong enough to break iron.

Some weapons that may appear are halberds, various types of blades, and lances. A skin-deep cut can act as a single dosage, a muscle deep cut can act as two dosages. Extreme heat can smelt the iron infused mercury and powerful wind release jutsu can blow them away.

Eventually a fog of mercury is made, endangering both himself with the lethal dosage and everyone inside. Maema the fearless welcomes the untimely death if it's for a worthy cause. This jutsu can be blown away by a strong enough wind-style jutsu.

Not sure how I feel about straight up auto-death in this case, but the poison buildup is kind of okay, I suppose.

Suiginton or Mercury release allows for versatility for both offense and defense. It gives Maema a certain assurance but can also make him over reliant on it. Considering it encompasses all of his relevant jutsu Unfortunately, mercury release is a liquid and can be diluted by Water Release jutsu. While extreme forces or wind-jutsus can blow it away rather easily making him expand more chakra.

Once injured they both burst into mercury gas, giving them a dosage of the poison. One dose for each clone, or is each clone's cloud equivalent to half of a dose?

Maema strings four hand seals together ending on the dragon seal. He then moves his hand to the empty scabbard on his side and brandishes a blade made of earthen elements and mercury. The insides of the scabbard gives the weapon its shape and intricate designs. The grass thin, blade is beautified by a thumb-sized circle near the base and a serpentine dragon flying towards it on the flat. When cut by the blade the opposition contracts mercury poisoning. Each cut can act as a small dosage to the opponent. A skin-deep cut can act as a single dosage, a muscle deep cut can act as two dosages. However a stab to an internal organ can act as three dosages. This blade is solidified with other minerals using earth chakra but the blade and point is lined with mercury. So to be honest, it can be destroyed with a blow strong enough to break iron In other words, it's a pretty terrible sword in the context of a world where people can self-buff or are just, y'know, ridiculous anime characters.

Haruhi is quicker than Maema and sturdy, however her strength is Genin rank at best. She attacks only those that attack Maema directly, minimizing the usage of her chakra. When they splash against an object the outer shell is broken and the mist inside spreads and joins together. This gathering take both a minute and a half to come together. Eventually a fog of mercury is made, endangering both himself with the lethal dosage and everyone inside. Maema the fearless welcomes the untimely death if it's for a worthy cause. I'm going to assume dispersal by use of wind is entirely possible

When exposed to its melting-point a noxious gas is released. Lingering inside the gas for a post delivers a single dosage.

As much as I hate to say it, we're going to be going the Jiyutai-centric route unless we end up with a sudden flood of CSs for both sides. However, that's not to say that there won't be opportunities for players to create Confederates later on down the line if they're feeling froggy.

@Renny Most of it is fine, if issues come up ICly we can always deal with them accordingly case by case. Poison is always a bitch to deal with, yes.

But one thing bothers me: The clone jutsu. Basic kage bunshin is B rank. I've ranked Goo clones as B due to their more passive secondary effect. However your secondary effects allow them to use most jutsu in your arsenal PLUS deliver a rather game changing infection. I'd argue it to be A rank while the Sasori-tail rip-off would be B rank (I mentioned it'd be either high B or low A, so yeah treat it as a B rank technique in terms of strength if you go with this proposition).

❖ Appearance--

Takashi stands out in most crowd, as most Trueborn tend to do when traveling outside of Ryuu no Kuni. His body is covered with patches of hard scales, mostly along his shoulder, back, and shin areas, with some spread out else where. The coloration of the scales match that of his hair, which is an electric blue, though his scales are a few shades darker than his hair. Not only that, but his hair is much coarser than that of most people, and tends to stick out from time to time no matter what he does. Beyond that, he also has spiky, bone protrusions along his shoulders and on his head, all of them being rather sharp and, due to the difficulty of maneuvering, make it so that he spends most of his time not wearing a shirt, making him stand out even more. His eyes, which are more angled than normal, are a light golden color, his pupils usually set in reptile-like slits, and this contrasts somewhat disturbingly with his dark grey sclera. Another inhuman feature of his anatomy is that he has a prehensile tail that reaches out to about three and a half feet, covered in similarly colored scales. Even amongst his clan, this is a very, very odd feature that is put down to his strengthened relation with the blood he inherited from his mother.

Focusing on his more human characteristics, he has a rather lean build, one seemingly built for speed then power, with very little in the way of a bulky muscle on his frame. When it comes to his face, it's rather angular, with his canines being a tad bit longer, as well as his teeth on a whole being much closer to fangs than most people are likely comfortable with. As far as clothes go, he tends to just wear some jeans(specially tailored to account for the tail) and shinobi sandals and that's it, though when dealing with a mission, he does wear the flak jacket for added protection. If a shirt is ever explicitly needed, he has a special shirt made of a more durable material that won't tear apart as his spikes poke through, but since they can only be used once, and are kind of expensive, he tends to just avoid any events that would require he wear them.

While Takashi doesn't look that physically imposing, he's stronger than he looks, able to easily life about double his own weight on his own. Takashi has always been a very active and trouble-making individual, keeping a smile on his face when faced with nearly any kind of situation. Coming off as aloof and flippant to most people, he enjoys making jokes and pulling pranks, and over all, making fun of everything and everyone he comes across. MOst people who have met Takashi would say they can't ever see him looking angry, no matter what anyone has said or done to him. He usually just brushes it off, though he does tend to express annoyance or frustration afterwards. Takashi also has a bit of trouble with authority figures, tending to snark at them a bit more than is generally deemed acceptable. He does what is told, but he can never resist having the last word, and this has garnered him quite a bit of a reputation as someone who's too much of a smart-ass for his own good.

In truth, Takashi is not as happy go lucky as he appears, but he's learned not to let others know when they get under his skin. "People can only hurt you as much as you let them." This was what his mother told him time and time again, a mantra that he has taken to heart. However, this has made him rather on guard with most people, making it even harder for him to make actual friends, as he's never willing to actually open up to people about himself. He will be nice, he'll be sociable, he'll listen to your problems, but the moment you attempt to pry into his life, he'll shut you out.

Takashi's clan has long had a history for being isolated, having lived in the mountains of Kaminari no Kuni for sometime and not being particularly welcoming to any outsiders who attempted to encroach on the mountian they called home, known as Ryu no Kuni. Kumogakure often launched assaults on the mountain, insulted by having a force not their own within their lands, but every assault was mercilessly rebuffed by the clan's strong warriors, and the clan heads ability to summon forth powerful beasts that gave the mountain it's name, seeming to embody the very elements themselves. And for years it continued like this, the assaults lessening as Kumo turned it's eyes outward, ignoring the puny spec of a clan that wished for nothing more than to exist within their own lands. THis would go on until about a hundred years prior to the current events, when the clan decided to make contact with Kumogakure.

The reason for this sudden outreach was that, due to their insular tendencies, the clan was suffering. A growing number of children were being born with deformities and their people were far behind the rest of the world in terms of technology and health. In short, they were stagnating as they were, and if things continued, they'd be a shadow of what they were before. Needless to say, such an arrangement was not made in their favor, as they weren't operating from a position of much strength. Their warrior s numbered very few, and even though the Clan head could summon mighty beasts to destroy the village, Kumo had it's own ways to hold them back in the form of the tailed beasts, who were highly likely to run of such invaders, not to mention that such an action would only draw the ire of the other nations. As such, they were required to, after some number of years, to enlist their children into the Kumogakure Shinobi academies, to defer to the Raikage's leadership at all times, and to send a delegation to live within the village, which must include the clan head and two of their elder council. With very little choice, the Ryuuga clan agreed, and so the assimilation began. In the falling hundred years since, the Ryuuga clan has become a rather entrenched and specialized part of Kumo's military,t heir skills in ninjutsu making them excellent shock and awe forces that were known throughout the ninja world.

That being said, they were not exactly welcomed with open arms into Kumo, and even to this day, many people of Kaminari no Kuni seem them as little more than monsters, with their appearance doing little to help with that. The dislike of the situation is mutual, however, as the members of the clan felt that outsiders are weak and inferior to them in all respects. To hopefully ease the tension, the Clan head decided to have a political marriage between her daughter, Kaede, with the son of a Council member, hoping it would help build bridges instead of burn them. Kaede was less than happy about it, but understood it was their duty to do so, and thus, it came to be.

Now that all of the background information out of the way, let's get into Takashi's history. The product of a political marriage, things could have been worse. While it was quite obvious that his parent's didn't really love each other, they were sociable and friendly. In fact,if it wasn't due to them being forced into this, they might've been good friends. In regards to him, Takashi had a strained relationship with his father, who had trouble seeing past his more inhuman features, especially when Kaede looked so much more human than most other Ryuuga clan. This left him to spend more time with his mother than anything else, though that came with it's own share of difficulties as he had to deal with her rather strict training regimine. She knew that, in order to make things better faster, her son would need to appear strong so as to appeal to the traditionalists that mingling with those not of the clan wouldn't be the worst thing in the world, and thus, would stop trying to stomp such matches out whenever they do pop up. When he reached academy age, it was expected of him to not only do as well as other kids, but to do better, while also doing his best to improve relations between the members of the clan with the rest of the village by making lots of friends. To say that it was a bit much to heap on the kid was an understatement, and while they didn't explicitly order these things, it was suggested through rewards and praise. The problem was, half the other Ryuuga clan kids thought of him as an abomination, as they're told by their parents, and most of the regular village kids didn't want anything to do with him. It was hard to get people to even approach him, and him approaching them often ended in glares or frightened glances.

It was around then that, readying up on his history, he read about the 7th Hokage, Naruto Uzumaki, and his earlier exploits and antics. The more he read, the more ideas popped into his head about how he could probably change people's opinion of him. And so began a long career of practical jokes that marked the rest of his academy life. He went from being the kid to avoid to the one people went to to hear all the awesome stories of how he tripped up adults in his surprisingly elaborate pranks. Which only grew in their absurdity and scale as he got older. While his parents tended to be far from pleased with his choice, his father being especially so, he had started to stop caring about what they said, entering his 'rebellious stage' which is much worse for Ryuuga as it is for anyone else. However, even during these fun times, he felt something was off with the world.

It was like a Tidal wave, how swiftly the world was swallowed by the Confederate's power grab. Even before they had assumed the title, Takashi was suffering from their tyrannical rule, as his father and the Clan head worked with the Raikage in order to deal with the coming onslaught, preparing to extend Ryu no Kuni's defenses to the whole of Kaminari no Kuni, especially around Kumo. Before the plan could be put into action, The Clan head disappeared, and with him, the Dragon Summoning scroll needed to assign a new Clan head. Not only that, but Takashi's father also disappeared one night, never to be heard from again. While on the outside, Takashi didn't appeared bothered by these events, in truth, he felt their absence deeply. But more than that, he began to notice changes to society that he couldn't abide by, especially once he began to leave the village more as a Genin.

The quality of life in Kumo began to harshly degrade for most civilians, as the Confederacy which took them over inly seemed to care for the military strength of the village and nothing else. Along with this, people who spoke to loudly against the new order where noticed to have gone missing shortly after, and while the news stated that people where happy and everything was fine, one could see, if they dug just a bit under the surface, that it wasn't so. While the world had been made peaceful with the rise of this one banner, their was a moral cost to it all, where people where to be silenced for speaking their mind. Not to mention that the tendrils of political corruption could be seen blossoming within the ruling bodies of the world, even within the council of heralds, who gave into the coming wave with an almost practiced ease, and were rewarded like lap-dogs with cushy living spaces and secure positions of power as long as they kept their clan members in check. The clan, once a sign of fierce independence, was whipped to be just like the rest of Kumo, a neat little factory used to make soldiers for the leaders to use like pawns.

For a time, Takashi was no different, staying in line to protect himself and his mother from suddenly disappearing in the dead of night. That is, until he heard about the Jyutei Rebels, who were growing in power and numbers each day thanks to their new leader. It was around this time, hearing about people standing up to this tyrannical regime, and actually making some form of headway against it, that Takashi made his choice. He waited until he was made a Chunin, completing the ceremony to gain his clan's Hiden Jutsu as was the custom. Soon after, he deserted, going forth on a recon mission with one other shinobi. Neither of them returned, and while Takashi felt some remorse for what he had to do, he didn't let this stop his resolve to do what he felt was right, no matter what the cost was. Eventually, he made his way to the rebels and joined them, feeling glad to be free of the Confederacy's iron fist and being able to enjoy freedom again. The fact that their commander wasn't as bloodthirsty or insane as the propganda stated her to be was simply a bonus as far as he was concerned. He's unsure of what might have happened to his mother as a result of his desertion, and he tries not to think about it whenever possible. However, if it comes down to a choice between rescuing his mother, if she even needs it, and helping the rebellion, he'd choose the rebellion. He goes to bed every night reciting that choice to himself, and every time, he can't help but wonder if that's the right choice to make, or how certain that resolve would be if he's actually faced with such a situation.

❖ Familial ties--

Takashi hasn't talked to his mother ever since he left the Confederacy a year ago, but they were on good terms last time they spoke, if somewhat strained due to the fact that his mother saw nothig wrong with the way things were. To her, while the system wasn't perfect and things could be better, attempting to force chagne will only make things worse for everyone involved. Takashi simply responded to that by saying that things often had to get worse before they could get better.

Long-term, he want's to bring down the Confederate, for no other reason then he feels that their way of doing things is just wrong, and they need to be stopped by any means necessary. He also wants to find out what happened to the Dragon Summoning scroll and his Grandmother, and he suspects the Confederacy has something to do with it. Short term, he doesn't really have much besides trying to not die. As for fears, he mostly is scared of having to choose between his clan and the rebellion. He also is afraid of what might have happened to his mother as a result of his desertion, but as previously stated, he really tries not to think about that.

A close-to-Mid range Ninjutsu specialist, Takashi seeks to take full advantage of his natural speed and agility to dance around his opponents, shocking them to hell and bnack with a barrage of Lightning based Ninjutsu, as well as using his specialized fuinjutsu focus of explosive seals to add some more variety to his skill set. When things get close, he goes with wielding a Ninjato and Kunai, aiming to slice his opponents apart in order to make up for his lack of physical striking power. Another thing about him is that, due to his particular strain of Ryuuga blood, his from is somewhat more frail than most others, meaning he can't take many hits before he has to retreat or goes down, thus he focuses on evading his opponent and flanking them rather than going head on, making him most effective when paired with another person to help draw some of the fire.

❖ Description

This Kekkei Genkai has two affects, one that occurs passively from birth, and another that is activated through the use of the Ryuuga Hiden Jutsu. Passively, this Kekkei Genkai turns all of the Ryuuga into Super-specialists, giving them all extremely strong Affinities with a single element, Lightning in Takashi's case. These affinities even manifest when Chakra is separated into Spiritual and Physical energy, meaning that even non-elemental jutsu become charged with Elemental chakra. It also alters their body so that, depending on their affinity, they have set strengths and weaknesses that they can't overcome. In Takashi's case, he has a strong Lightning affinity, great agility, dexterity, reflexes, and most of all, speed, but he's more fragile than most and doesn't have any true physical striking power. Essentially, he's a designated 'Glass Cannon' from birth. The second affect is that, by focusing their chakra, they can activate the Draconic blood within their veins in order to evoke a number of aspects in their safe, making them stronger in some shape or fashion through their clan's Hiden Jutsu.

❖ Strengths

This Kekkei Genkai makes it so that, if they're playing to their strengths,they become a very dangerous Ninjutsu threat, with the ability to wield and control their chosen element to a degree that most can only dream of. Not only that, but by using their Hiden Jutsu, they can also further increase their battlefield presence, making them excellent shock troops to disrupt enemy formations and cause lots of damage with powerful Ninjutsu attacks.

Obviously, due to the fact that he can only use Lightning Jutsu, Wind users are a very, very big problem for him, especially in regards to his Hiden Jutsu, as most have the weaknesses that taking a hit of an opposing element will immediately shut them down and leave the user greatly weakened for some time. His weak body is also another issue, forcing him to rely on evasive maneuvers at all times. With this, if he's not partnered up with someone to help cover his weaknesses, than he's likely to find himself in a bad position, hence why members of the Ryuuga clan tend to form fighting groups of at least two, so that neither find themselves completely shut down by a Jutsu user of an opposing element.

Takashi creates a sort of electrical current on his hand, this current can then be transferred onto any weapon he happens to be holding at that moment be it a kunai, senbon, shuriken, or even a sword. The next physical attack he performs is charged with this electrical current, if he blocks a weapon attack with his own weapon the current transfers over shocking the attacker, usually causing some form of minor burn damage and numbness in the affected area. If by chance the user is not carrying a weapon he can transfer this current into his opponent's weapon shocking him, or can even hit him with this current.

Takashi launches forth a continuous blast of electrical energy at a target, upon which they feel highly painful shocks throughout their body. The actual attack can be delayed for about 2 posts, and the power of this attack actually depends on the amount of chakra put into the sky. This jutsu increases in effectiveness when there are some sort of clouds in the sky to help conduct the electricity, as well as to help hide the attack a bit, as the chakra creates a cloud due to the electrical charge drawing in water molecules in the air and such. If used on a cloudy or stormy day, or in conjunction with a jutsu that creates dense fog, then it increases in power by a decent amount.

After performing a string of Handseals, Takashi will slam his fists together, causing a flare of electrically charged chakra to from around him, soon forming into a thin layer of chakra that sticks to him like a second skin. Despite it's flimsy look, the chakra is actually incredibly dense, giving him a durable outer shell that absorbs a good amount of damage from physical and Ninjutsu attacks(especially those infused with Doton Chakra) as well as completely deflecting kunai, shurikens, senbon, etc, though it's not as strong as other Ryuuga members due to his Lightning affinity. Another effect of this jutsu is that it makes him completely immune to Lightning based Jutsu of equal rank or lower and greatly reduces the damage of he'd tale from an S rank Technique.He can then increase the strength and duration of this jutsu, which is about 5 posts, with the chakra from the attacks, or to enhance his next ninjutsu attack instead.

Unfortunately, this armor has one pretty major drawback, and that is that if Takashi gets hit by a wind-style attack, then not only will the jutsu be instantly disabled, but due to the connection this jutsu has with his chakra system, he'll be unable to use any ninjutsu above C-rank for 2-3 posts, depending on the strength of the attack, not to mentin that wind attacks will completely plow through his defenses.

Takashi stands out in most crowd, as most Trueborn tend to do when traveling outside of Ryuu no Kuni. His body is covered with patches of hard scales, mostly along his shoulder, back, and shin areas, with some spread out else where. The coloration of the scales match that of his hair, which is an electric blue, though his scales are a few shades darker than his hair. Not only that, but his hair is much coarser than that of most people, and tends to stick out from time to time no matter what he does. Beyond that, he also has spiky, bone protrusions along his shoulders and on his head, all of them being rather sharp and, due to the difficulty of maneuvering, make it so that he spends most of his time not wearing a shirt, making him stand out even more. His eyes, which are more angled than normal, are a light golden color, his pupils usually set in reptile-like slits, and this contrasts somewhat disturbingly with his dark grey sclera. Another inhuman feature of his anatomy is that he has a prehensile tail that reaches out to about three and a half feet, covered in similarly colored scales. Even amongst his clan, this is a very, very odd feature that is put down to his strengthened relation with the blood he inherited from his mother.

Focusing on his more human characteristics, he has a rather lean build, one seemingly built for speed then power, with very little in the way of a bulky muscle on his frame. When it comes to his face, it's rather angular, with his canines being a tad bit longer, as well as his teeth on a whole being much closer to fangs than most people are likely comfortable with. As far as clothes go, he tends to just wear some jeans(specially tailored to account for the tail) and shinobi sandals and that's it, though when dealing with a mission, he does wear the flak jacket for added protection. MOst people who have met Takashi would say they can't ever see him looking angry, no matter what anyone has said or done to him. Takashi's clan has long had a history for being isolated, having lived in the mountains of Kaminari no Kuni i thought it was ryuu no kunillingus for sometime and not being particularly welcoming to any outsiders who attempted to encroach on the mountian they called home, known as Ryu no Kuni oh. Kumogakure you misspelled Kumo up there then often launched assaults on the mountain, insulted by having a force not their own within their lands, but every assault was mercilessly rebuffed by the clan's strong warriors dem blacks be racist to dragons?, and the clan heads ability to summon forth powerful beasts that gave the mountain it's name, seeming to embody the very elements themselves. And for years it continued like this, the assaults lessening as Kumo turned it's eyes outward, ignoring the puny spec of a clan that wished for nothing more than to exist within their own lands. The reason for this sudden outreach was that, due to their insular tendencies, the clan was suffering. A growing number of children were being born with deformities retarded inbreeding i'm sure and their people were far behind the rest of the world in terms of technology and health. In short, they were stagnating as they were, and if things continued, they'd be a shadow of what they were before. Needless to say, such an arrangement was not made in their favor, as they weren't operating from a position of much strength. With very little choice, the Ryuuga clan agreed, and so the assimilation began. That being said, they were not exactly welcomed with open arms into Kumo DEM RACISTS, and even to this day, many people of Kaminari no Kuni seem them as little more than monsters they are kinda ugly tbh, with their appearance doing little to help with that. The dislike of the situation is mutual, however, as the members of the clan felt that outsiders are weak and inferior to them in all respects. Now that all of the background information out of the way, let's get into Takashi's history. The product of a political marriage DONT WANT THE ARRANGED MARRIAGE, things could have been worse. While it was quite obvious that his parent's didn't really love each other such darkness in him, they were sociable and friendly. In fact,if it wasn't due to them being forced into this, they might've been good friends. In regards to him, Takashi had a strained relationship with his father uh oh father issues again, who had trouble seeing past his more inhuman features what a dick sjw's are right men are pigs baaaawwwwww, especially when Kaede son he's the son of the bitch who married the relevant kumo guy ... WHY ISNT HE HALF BLACK????? looked so much more human than most other Ryuuga clan. This left him to spend more time with his mother than anything else, though that came with it's own share of difficulties as he had to deal with her rather strict training regimine like everyone ever. She knew that, in order to make things better faster, her son would need to appear strong so as to appeal to the traditionalists that mingling with those not of the clan wouldn't be the worst thing in the world, and thus, would stop trying to stomp such matches out whenever they do pop up. When he reached academy age, it was expected of him to not only do as well as other kids, but to do better, while also doing his best to improve relations between the members of the clan with the rest of the village by making lots of friends so much for tat since he's a nardo. To say that it was a bit much to heap on the kid was an understatement, and while they didn't explicitly order these things, it was suggested through rewards and praise. The problem was, half the other Ryuuga clan kids thought of him as an abomination outcast snowflake that isn't like the others, or nardo, as they're told by their parents, and most of the regular village kids didn't want anything to do with him does he have kyuubi in him too?!?. It was hard to get people to even approach him, and him approaching them often ended in glares or frightened glances. okay his ugly face kind of freaks me out too yah

It was around then that, readying up on his history, he read about the 7th Hokage, Nardo Uzumaki his idol i'm sure, and his earlier exploits and antics so smurt i am. The more he read, the more ideas popped into his head about how he could probably change people's opinion of him. And so began a long career of practical jokes that marked the rest of his academy life i bet he even did blackface for attention. He went from being the kid to avoid to the one people went to to hear all the awesome stories of how he tripped up adults in his surprisingly elaborate pranks no people will still thnk he's a fukin weirdo who wants attention. Which only grew in their absurdity and scale as he got older. While his parents tended to be far from pleased with his choice, his father being especially so, he had started to stop caring about what they said, entering his 'rebellious stage' which is much worse for Ryuuga as it is for anyone else. It was like a Tidal wave, how swiftly the world was swallowed by the Confederate's power grab. Even before they had assumed the title, Takashi was suffering from their tyrannical rule, as his father and the Clan head worked with the Raikage in order to deal with the coming onslaught, preparing to extend Ryu no Kuni's defenses to the whole of Kaminari no Kuni, especially around Kumo. Before the plan could be put into action, The Clan head disappeared wat, and with him, the Dragon Summoning scroll needed to assign a new Clan head. Not only that, but Takashi's father also disappeared one night, never to be heard from again deadbeat. While on the outside, Takashi didn't appeared bothered by these events, in truth, he felt their absence deeply. But more than that, he began to notice changes to society that he couldn't abide by, especially once he began to leave the village more as a Genin.

The quality of life in Kumo began to harshly degrade for most civilians, as the Confederacy which took them over inly seemed to care for the military strength of the village and nothing else. Along with this, people who spoke to loudly against the new order where noticed to have gone missing shortly after, and while the news stated that people where happy and everything was fine, one could see, if they dug just a bit under the surface, that it wasn't so. While the world had been made peaceful with the rise of this one banner, their was a moral cost to it all, where people where to be silenced for speaking their mind neo-leftist's dream. Not to mention that the tendrils of political corruption could be seen blossoming within the ruling bodies of the world, even within the council of heralds, who gave into the coming wave with an almost practiced ease, and were rewarded like lap-dogs with cushy living spaces and secure positions of power as long as they kept their clan members in check. The clan, once a sign of fierce independence, was whipped to be just like the rest of Kumo, a neat little factory used to make soldiers for the leaders to use like pawns. practical aye?

For a time, Takashi was no different, staying in line to protect himself and his mother from suddenly disappearing in the dead of night Yakoul is always watching. That is, until he heard about the Jyutei Rebels, who were growing in power and numbers each day thanks to their new leader. It was around this time, hearing about people standing up to this tyrannical regime, and actually making some form of headway against it, that Takashi made his choice. He waited until he was made a Chunin, completing the ceremony to gain his clan's Hiden Jutsu as was the custom. Soon after, he deserted, going forth on a recon mission with one other shinobi. Neither of them returned, and while Takashi felt some remorse for what he had to do, he didn't let this stop his resolve to do what he felt was right, no matter what the cost was i bet he killed that shinobi, DAT FALSE NARDO. Eventually, he made his way to the rebels and joined them, feeling glad to be free of the Confederacy's iron fist and being able to enjoy freedom again and then his mum gets taken hostage. The fact that their commander wasn't as bloodthirsty or insane as the propganda stated her to be was simply a bonus as far as he was concerned. He's unsure of what might have happened to his mother as a result of his desertion, and he tries not to think about it whenever possible selfish prick. However, if it comes down to a choice between rescuing his mother, if she even needs it, and helping the rebellion, he'd choose the rebellion Son of the year sweater goes to this kid, gg. When things get close, he goes with wielding a Ninjato and Kunai, aiming to slice his opponents apart in order to make up for his lack of physical striking power. This Kekkei Genkai has two affects, one that occurs passively from birth, and another that is activated through the use of the Ryuuga Hiden Jutsu. Passively, this Kekkei Genkai turns all of the Ryuuga into Super-specialists, giving them all extremely strong Affinities with a single element, Lightning in Takashi's case. These affinities even manifest when Chakra is separated into Spiritual and Physical energy, meaning that even non-elemental jutsu become charged with Elemental chakra. It also alters their body so that, depending on their affinity, they have set strengths and weaknesses that they can't overcome. In Takashi's case, he has a strong Lightning affinity, great agility, dexterity, reflexes, and most of all, speed, but he's more fragile than most and doesn't have any true physical striking power. Essentially, he's a designated 'Glass Cannon' from birth. The second affect is that, by focusing their chakra, they can activate the Draconic blood within their veins in order to evoke a number of aspects in their safe, making them stronger in some shape or fashion through their clan's Hiden Jutsu. uhhhh ok so it makes him stronger, faster and better with lightning, k. what's the hiden? seems unclear. Like, what does the hiden do exactly? I assume the element mastery is just the KG.

This Kekkei Genkai makes it so that, if they're playing to their strengths,they become a very dangerous Ninjutsu threat, with the ability to wield and control their chosen element to a degree that most can only dream of. Not only that, but by using their Hiden Jutsu, they can also further increase their battlefield presence, making them excellent shock troops to disrupt enemy formations and cause lots of damage with powerful Ninjutsu attacks.

Obviously, due to the fact that he can only use Lightning Jutsu, Wind users are a very, very big problem for him, especially in regards to his Hiden Jutsu, as most have the weaknesses that taking a hit of an opposing element will immediately shut them down and leave the user greatly weakened for some time. His weak body is also another issue, forcing him to rely on evasive maneuvers at all times. With this, if he's not partnered up with someone to help cover his weaknesses, than he's likely to find himself in a bad position, hence why members of the Ryuuga clan tend to form fighting groups of at least two, so that neither find themselves completely shut down by a Jutsu user of an opposing element. k

After performing the needed handseals, Takashi creates a cloud of chakra around him, which rises into the sky, only to come down sometime later upon a designated target in the form of twin bolts of Lightning. The actual attack can be delayed for about 2 posts, and the power of this attack actually depends on the amount of chakra put into the sky. This jutsu increases in effectiveness when there are some sort of clouds in the sky to help conduct the electricity, as well as to help hide the attack a bit, as the chakra creates a cloud due to the electrical charge drawing in water molecules in the air and such. If used on a cloudy or stormy day, or in conjunction with a jutsu that creates dense fog, then it increases in power by a decent amount. discount kirin, ok

Takashi taps into his Draconic blood in order to coat his arms in dense Lightning Chakra, shaping them into large, dangerous looking claws. These can be used offensively and defensively, as the dense layer of chakra functions similarly to the Scales of the Dragon, but only around his arms and hands. These claws don't have an edge, being able to cut through cloth and flesh, but nothing more, but they have quite high piercing power(capable of making holes in steel with relative ease), not to mention that they put out a dangerous amount of electrical energy as well. While cuts will cause some burning and numbness in effective areas, getting these claws jabbed into your body is a very bad experience. At that moment, they'll cause muscle spasms, paralysis, and 2nd, possible even 3rd degree burns. A drawback to this jutsu is that, while active, he can't use any other jutsu that require handseals until he cancels it not a weakness since he barely has any jutsu with hand seal specifications. This jutsu lasts for about 3 posts, and can be activated without handseals if Takashi is currently using his Scales of the Dragon jutsu, instead focusing chakra into his arms and shaping them into claws. Unfortunately, this Jutsu suffers the same weakness with that jutsu, in that it'll be immediately canceled by a wind style attack, however, the time where he can't use high level jutsu is relatively short, making it difficult to take advantage of unless the opponent acts extremely fast. right, one of the conditions here are null so maybe find something more convincing

After performing a strong of Handseals, Takashi will slam his fists together, causing a flare of electrically charged chakra to from around him, soon forming into a thin layer of chakra that sticks to him like a second skin. Despite it's flimsy look, the chakra is actually incredibly dense, giving him a durable outer shell that absorbs a good amount of damage from physical and Ninjutsu attacks(especially those infused with Doton Chakra) as well as completely deflecting kunai, shurikens, senbon, etc, though it's not as strong as other Ryuuga members due to his Lightning affinity. Another effect of this jutsu is that it makes him completely immune to Lightning based Jutsu of equal rank or lower and greatly reduces the damage of he'd tale from an S rank Technique.He can then increase the strength and duration of this jutsu, which is about 5 posts, with the chakra from the attacks, or to enhance his next ninjutsu attack instead.

Unfortunately, this armor has one pretty major drawback, and that is that if Takashi gets hit by a wind-style attack, then not only will the jutsu be instantly disabled, but due to the connection this jutsu has with his chakra system, he'll be unable to use any ninjutsu above C-rank for 2-3 posts, depending on the strength of the attack, not to mentin that wind attacks will completely plow through his defenses. so discount Lightning release Armor. Sure, I accept, but yeah it is pretty much that with more drawbacks.

Don't abuse them or i'll ban.

This Kekkei Genkai has two affects, one that occurs passively from birth, and another that is activated through the use of the Ryuuga Hiden Jutsu. Passively, this Kekkei Genkai turns all of the Ryuuga into Super-specialists, giving them all extremely strong Affinities with a single element, Lightning in Takashi's case. These affinities even manifest when Chakra is separated into Spiritual and Physical energy, meaning that even non-elemental jutsu become charged with Elemental chakra. It also alters their body so that, depending on their affinity, they have set strengths and weaknesses that they can't overcome. In Takashi's case, he has a strong Lightning affinity, great agility, dexterity, reflexes, and most of all, speed, but he's more fragile than most and doesn't have any true physical striking power. Essentially, he's a designated 'Glass Cannon' from birth. The second affect is that, by focusing their chakra, they can activate the Draconic blood within their veins in order to evoke a number of aspects in their safe, making them stronger in some shape or fashion through their clan's Hiden Jutsu.

So if I understand correctly he's basically rly good at these things but at the same time he's weaker physically. That'd be ok but then you say 'draconic blood' makes them stronger, so that kinda negates that doesn't it?

And you're gonna give him draconic blood anyway so why bother mentioning it as a weakness if he can just ignore it anyway? Seems kinda stupid.

The opening sequence will be an attack on Amegakure by the Jiyutai (since Krot is switching his character) and you'll be fighting NPC's. I'm not a nazi GM so I'll let you come up with your own NPC fights as long as it's kept within reason, and otherwise you can just stick close to Senhime.
