Capturing Bastion first or killing each other off first were always options to winning the battle. The 3 post limit was more of a technical aspect than a story one. But certainly, whoever gets Bastion away from the Elicitor or kills the other side completely wins. The 3 post limit just ensured that process didn't take forever.
Honestly, I think a major factor that this can seemingly take forever is the four post resurrection thing. Its the only thing really making it possible for things to drag on forever.
Now, I get that you guys want to let everyone stay active and participate in the RP.
However, if everyone simply can resurrect after four posts, then it simply takes forever. Maybe instead of four posts, they simply resurrect after the battle? As such, being able to kill all the faction player characters means there is little to no more resistance from the side. Aside from some grunts, but most PCs can probably fend those off quite easily unless they're
really super weak.
I mean, as far as taking forever goes, if the PCs are endlessly resurrecting the only way to 'kill' everyone is in a short time frame of four posts, which would kind of take forever, unless we made heavy use of collabs and managed to kill everyone in more or less the same exact moment.
But yeah, my thoughts on the matter. Off to find food!

We haven't set the idea in stone yet, but the current idea is that you can only deploy two characters into any Battle, but you can have an expanded roster of characters already made, This way capturing people does more than unlock the canon ero scenes, but also keeps them out of the following conflict and may require you to use someone from the roster, assuming no prison break happens.
And yes, Slime Girls are glorious :3
Hmm...that's not a bad idea, actually. Would also mean that the players didn't know which characters the others were deploying in the battle either, which means a bit of a surprise for everyone.
So yeah, cool. I'ma go make a slime girl CS now. Because I can, and they are squishy and soft and adorable and huggable.
