Okay, think I have covered who has the completed relations up under their cs's in the original ooc update. If I am looking right we just need the following to finish up to start; Fantasy, Wraith, Blue & Drago.
Once you do, tag me here so I can double check it and adjust the original ooc.
By the way, I've been meaning to ask you guys: How do you get lots of gifs with your selected actor? Do you make them yourself or is there like an "Animated Movie Meme" page ya'all go to?
Okay peeps, morning update (These will come less frequently as we get settled in.)
Yup, top of the list is the relations thing! Yeah, I am so going to harp on this until they are done.
Those that wish, you can add in yourself to under your relations to show a reflection of what your character thinks of themselves.
We should be having two more joining us on Retribution within the next couple of days. (Rpers are currently working on CS sheets.) But again, that won't impede us starting. (We look to be adding a Ships Counselor and either an Engineer or Pilot)
For those of you not familiar with Randomization and LLA - you are either in for a treat or a hair pulling experience. (Probably both)
Basically Randomization is a little thing I use to keep things moving and fresh. A variety of things that could happen are placed into an online randomizer and what pops up is what I post for. This can be anything from the engines exploding to a fly that won't stop hovering around your head. Depending on what is happening in the RP, there can be up to 100 individual scenarios created for each Randomization. (Those from The Walking Dead and Darker Than Black Rps I run have been dealing with this for a while now.)
Now to introduce you to LLA - She works with Randomization. LLA is basically Lady Luck, though thanks to a horrible auto correct in chat she started being referred to as LLA (which stands for Lady Lick Ass - Trust me the name is fitting). She can be your best friend or worst nightmare ~has a moment of silence for the over dozen character lives she has claimed in the last 5 months in RP's~ If something comes up in the randomizer where a character could get injured, you have your character start a fight or trip, or to even as simple as starting to choke on what you are eating LLA steps in and rolls. The event determines how the dice are stacked and a roll is made. If your character pulls a Natural 1, start planning the funeral.
All rolls and randomization's are done by the GM and GM alone. Remember, no one is safe. Doesn't matter how beloved a character is or how hated. The rolls ensure a level playing field or in this case, an equal chance of death for every character. ~has lost so many characters she now gets a discount at the funeral home~ This is why I suggest back-ups lol
Once we begin, remember to keep in character. Skills for your character are the ones listed and only those. Those are what you will be drawing from. Psychologically, keep the character reacting as what is listed in the CS. (I do check Cs's when people post to make sure Cs's are followed.)
@knighthawk You know, I will make a quick list and add it to the OOC for the codes that are in use (but for now, just check the CS tab and look at who is using what and try to pick something that isn't close to one of the ones in use)
@knighthawk Okay, that went faster than I thought it was. In the original OOC now, next to each characters name is the color code used and displayed as that color for ease of reference.
Submitted for your consideration. Looks like you need more people on the Retribution. Kinda.
William Harper

Appearance
Height: 5'10" Weight: 151 lbs Build: Wiry Eyes: Green Hair: Brown Skin Tone: Pale Tattoos/Scars/Piercings: Shanking scars on his back, smaller ones about his arms and hands. Has a ragged scar across his torso, souvenir from a fight that went south.
Personal Style: Dress is fitting to the circumstances. At present, he is attached to an Alliance ship, and dresses in smart, crisp uniforms of grey and black. If he ever has an opportunity to dress comfortably, he is attired in either utilitarian coveralls (mechanic's wear), or Core World Semi-Casual.
Because of his circumstances, personal style is less of what he likes, and more of what he needs to function quickly, quietly, and efficiently.
Sexuality: Hetero Relationship Status: Single Personality:
Liam tends to keep to himself. A fairly quiet man, he chooses words carefully and tries not to over or underspeak. When he does socialize, it is usually to some purpose or another. Conversations thusfar with him are fairly shallow affairs, as he rarely speaks of his own past. He sticks to his work, reads, and researches. History has taught him not to trust anyone, especially people in authority who are in a position to prosper by screwing you over.
If anyone manages to penetrate William's cool exterior, they will see a man of incredible intelligence who has become too accustomed to hardship to trust a sudden burst of generosity or good fortune. He isn't suicidal, but he is a risk taker. Calculated risk taker, mind you. He isn't reckless, nor is he a fool. Sometimes, when presented with a lack of options, he finds a difficult Plan B, is all.

History
The Reason You Chose The Side You Did:
Siding with The Alliance was a foregone conclusion, at first. When your home is a core world, and a short term of military service completely pays for your education, you jump at that opportunity. Unfortunately, when you give little mind to a stupid regulation concerning the movement of tech in a Blackout zone and get pinched for espionage, sending you to a penal mining colony in the Halo, little things like “faith in your government” take a backseat. Not to mention the whole debacle with un-terraforming an inhabited planet (Shadow) during the War. Such actions would make one second guess the motivations of a totalitarian regime, regardless of how well they treat their favored citizens.
History:
Born Crispin Wright of Osiris to a middle class family, our budding anti-hero was raised in the heart of the Central Planets. His family life, while not ideal, was much more stable and privileged than most in the ‘Verse have the opportunity to experience. Crispin had a stunning and curious intellect, one that got him into the best schools on Osiris - an amazing feat in and of itself. Unfortunately, his family didn’t have the monumental resources to fully fund the best education possible.
As it turns out, The Alliance was willing to assist with just this issue, so long as one spends a term of service in the Military. This put off his life plan somewhat, but Crispin couldn’t argue that it was the most expedient method available. He signed his papers and trained to be a pilot. Turns out, he excelled. He ate up knowledge of flying craft, atmospheric and space vessels both. The same predisposition toward tech allowed him to see and feel the abilities and limitations of skybound vehicles. It was simply what he did. He even participated in the first bit of the Unification War, though he doesn’t talk about it much.
School! It paid for school. His brain took in and processed knowledge like a toddler horks back candy, all without the upset stomach and chunk-blowing later. It wasn’t enough to know the theoretical side of it either; Crispin had to get right in there with the practical application of his mechanical and technological knowledges. Most of his free time was spent working with whomever he could, sometimes for free, in fields of structural and civil engineering, ship repair, hardware, and computer programming. Eating up knowledge. Spitting back out stunning technological progress.
Crispin’s life progressed just about as he thought it would after that. Up to a point. On Osiris, they like to know where you are at all times. Certain places, called Blackout Zones, made it difficult for monitoring devices to function. These places are notorious for being the preferred hangouts for criminals and insurgents. Also people who just don’t want to be stared at electronically at all hours. Hypothetically, a man could be found there, speaking with off-world technologists about new and interesting developments. All on the up-and-up, all nice and legal. Except that when you’re in a Blackout Zone with an Independent Engineer, carrying Alliance tech, the authorities get a bit testy.
So testy, in fact, that they hold you on Suspicion of Espionage indefinitely, eventually shipping you off to a Penal Colony mining in the Halo Asteroid Field, all held without formal charges. For over three years. Crispin picked up a series of other skills - survival and painful social skills - during this time. He had no idea what happened to the man with whom he was arrested, and didn’t really care. He knew he was going to die out there, surrounded by black space and cold rock. He grew desperate.
Enter William Harper, a military man who was sent to this place on a three month wristslap, charges being “Conduct Unbecoming an Officer”. The reality of it, from his mouth, was far, far worse. He marked himself as a truly sadistic man whose crimes were covered up by the military, lest they taint his spotless record with anything stronger than Conduct Unbecoming and a reassignment on the other side of the ‘Verse to start over. Crispin saw an opportunity and grabbed it with both hands.
When all was said and done, the Central Files on both men altered. It’s funny what you can accomplish with a head for computers and access to the Alliance Central Mainframe through the prison’s uplink (wasn’t easy). Crispin met with a unfortunate accident. But since he was never there in the first place, it was like he just disappeared. Looking quite different, William left the Halo Prison Colony to continue his life and career piloting for the Alliance. His travel orders had him leaving out of Persephone, acting as Lieutenant and Pilot of the Retribution. Funnily enough, they didn’t seem to mind his little eccentricity, carrying about a massive crescent wrench. Hey, it was his Lucky Wrench, and they were headed toward the Rim. A man needs as much luck as they can get that far from Central.
In truth, William (Liam, to his friends) is looking to exit his situation. He has no love for the Alliance, and feels a little dirty working for the military again. He knows exactly how to play his role, and then some. It is only a matter of time before William Harper finds his opening. That will be a very interesting day.
