Selvina rolled her eyes before rubbing the fox between the ears. "Listen, if you are scared of crowds then you don't have to come along with me, you know that." Of course, it was more likely the fox simply had a normal distaste for them, but the mage decided to play it up a bit more than necessary. "I'd enjoy your company, but I'd hate for my poor litte fowxy Sly to be uncomfortable wouldn't I?" The mage would give the fox another rub if she'd accept it before starting out of the door.

Fia gave Gwynn a smile. Something ... nice? Like the dresses Lyssa had given her a while back? Seemed like it could be fun but ... her eyes drifted towards the range and she gulped. She had no idea how to use these implements, right?

Hopefully things would turn out well though. "... You ... You go first ..." The phoenix pointed a finger towards the oldest lady with a slight smile.

Meowka was surprised as she was yanked back from the ball of water but her mind left paying attention to the nearby conversation as she pounced on some of the fish wiggling around helplessly on the ground and scooped them into her arms - her teeth bit into the nearest one and she took several bites out of the fish before looking around at the other two with a little confusion but seeming fairly satisfied as she took another bite of the fish and watched whatever chaos there was unfold.

~Fox~

"...that isn't what I asked, idiot." She grumbled, swatting away Sel's hand. "But I suppose that means you don't want me around, then." Waiting for nothing else, the fox turned into her usual fox like form. "Ta-ta and all that. I'll be drowning myself in Sake and making sure you don't get...well, accosted by a certain demon." Before Sel could determine what exactly she meant by that the fox bolted down the hallway, quickly disappearing.

~Gwynn & Ritsa~

"Heh, you asked for it." Gwynn grinned, walking over to the range, already forming a not exactly completely legal plan to use. See, this was where being able to control Ice completely would come in handy massively. She may not use bows on a regular basis, but she could hit something with a chunk of ice from at least twenty meters away with ease. "Three people." She handed over the money for the fee and getting the bows and arrows.

"Alright, here you go...and we all get five arrows." Gwynn was feeling more than a little confident. "The furthest target away gets you the most points, and it looks like you can get a prize for the points you win, too. Take as much time as you need, I'll go first."

Right, now how did she use this thing? Gwynn fumbled with the bow for a few seconds, testing the string like she at least looked like she knew what she was doing. She knocked the arrow, pulled the string, took a deep breath...and let go. The arrow sailed through the air...and buried itself in the outer ring of the furthest target.

"Bwaha, see there? That's how ya do it!" She grinned, turning to look at the two girls.

...Ritsa of which, was giving her quite a judgemental glare.

~Miren~

"Well, lets go then." Miren giggled, finishing her drink, walking into the crowds and motioning for the hound to follow. She wasn't really one to enjoy such festivities all to much, but there might be something fun to do with Eith anyways. They made their way through the crowds, Miren leading Eith through the festivals. They passed a number of different food stalls as they made their way through, buying a number of different foods along the way. Various delicious smells wafted through the area.

"See anything you want, Eith?" The rabbit asked. She had already eaten and didn't particularly feel like eating a whole lot more. Maybe a bite or two there.

~Cynthia~

Cynthia gave Mugi a small smile, in her hands was a small box of cakes that could fit in the palm of your hand. She showed them to the Yuki-Onna. "For you...made them last night," The maid shyly continued. "Blueberry, some spices..." Of course, there was something else she wanted to give the Yuki-Onna, she was even less sure that Mugi would like this one, since well, she liked the cold...but what exactly could she give someone like that as a present of sorts? Less clothes?

....the maid's fave reddened slightly as she did her best not to imagine that. Well, it was either now or never.

"O-one more thing." Before the Yuki-Onna could do anything else, Cynthia pulled something out of her dress, quickly wrapping it around the Yuki-Onna's neck. It was some sort of clothe, made of an incredibly light material of some sort. A scarf of some sort? that's what it looked like, but before Mugi could contemplate it the Maid pulled the girls head close...and gave her a soft kiss on the lips before quickly wrapping the scarf around her head, obscuring her vision and shoving one of the pastries into her mouth.

~Celine~

"Me? The familiar...partner of some filthy mage? Oho, you're quite funny, human." Celine said with a dismissive shrug. "I suppose I wouldn't mind it so much if it was you - you're the most tolerable of the filth I've met." She cast a glance over to the kitten. "More importantly, shouldn't you stop that mangy stray of yours from eating off the ground? How crude, I imagine you would have taught her some more manners at least."

~Sorcha~

"Bwahaa, right you are. Luna is so adorable to tease, you know?" The dragon grinned. "Those adorable pouty cheeks of hers are probably the cutest this dragon has seen in her thousand-something odd years of life, heh!" The dragon cleared her throat before continuing, taking a slightly more serious tone and stance towards the human. "Ahem, as for my title well...getting close enough to a dragon to tell its gender is typically a good way to become our midnight snack. Lets just say people started calling me that and the title just sort of stuck. Not that I really mind. King sounds better than Queen to my ears anyways."

The dragon offered Richard a small smile.

"So, do you have business here, Richard? Luna and I were on our way to enjoy the festivities of course...I suppose I wouldn't mind you tagging along." A bit of her dragon pride was showing there. Not that she didn't like Richard, but most of her friendliness was reserved towards Luna.

The Lord nodded along with Sorcha's explanation. It made sense to him, but to her question on if he was joining them he answered, "Oh, no! No worrying there! I have things to do. Not to mention I left Percy to do some of the paper work here, so I should return and finish up on that. Not to mention I need to look after Sol. You girls enjoy yourself." Richard said, scratching the side of his head a bit.

"Oh? You brought brother as well?" Luna turned to Maoin and Sorcha, "He's my big brother. The heir to the house as well." She then turned back to her father. "Though I must ask, who is So--" She didn't even get to ask as her father was already heading off around the corner, obviously something on his mind. "And he's gone. Looks like he's rather busy for a festival. I'm sure we'll find him later. Is there anywhere you two wanted to go?" There were plenty of games around so there was a lot for them to do.

Eith the Shellagh

Eith was a bit ravenous with the food. It all tasted good to her. Just about anything really did, even if it burned away pretty quickly. Miren also asked her a question. "Anything I want? Hmm." She looked over all the food. It was all pretty good. "Everything?" She had to say before heading up to a new food stall and handing a coin over to the owner. He then handed her. . . Well, it was squishy and on a stick. "What is this?" She asked pointing to the words on a stall that said, "Squid." She took a bite, but had a difficult time with it. "It's tough."

Katherine Lindall

"I think she's fine. She's a bit of an idiot, but she's plenty cute where it matters." Katherine said, giggling at her cat eating fish off the floor. "Still though Meowka, wouldn't it taste better cooked? I think there are some people over here that would be more than happy to cook it for you." She added, motioning over to the grillers that had moved a bit to stay out of the Undine's path and started to try cooking again. "Still, though. I can understand you not wanting to be my familiar, Celine. I doubt you could handle this "filthy human" for long. It'd be nothing but an annoyance I'm sure." Katherine teased.

Mugi the Yuki-Onna

Mugi had very little time to react to anything that just happened. Cynthia gave her a scarf as well. . . Then kissed her! Mugi blushed. Cynthia had never really initiated anything of the sort herself so far! It was just. . . Well, great! She'd have brought her girlfriend into a hug if she could, but there was a scarf wrapped around her head and a pastry shoved in her mouth. She struggled to remove the scarf from her eyes and ate the pastry fairly quickly. She felt the moment had passed for a hug once she got those issues taken care of, but she did grab Cynthia's hands, one in each of hers and brought them together, clasped between hers. "I love it. This will help keep my neck cool."

The kitten was a little embarrassed about forgetting her owner's title, but ultimately the dragon seemed to ignore her failure on her own and the girl let out a little sigh as her mistake seemingly went unnoticed as she held onto the dress tightly and tried to keep it from getting too dirty before the dancing began. For a couple of moments the girl seemed to contemplate before giving her mistress a big smile and wagging her tail in front of her.

"M-mistress! I heard they were having a booth here that gives out extended massages and hot tubs ... like a mobile spa! Surely you'd like a little professional pampering?" Maoin seemed excited about her idea, and it meant that it was entirely possible that her own fingers wouldn't feel exhausted in the evening. And besides, she felt that she still could use another's methods to add a little variation to what was undoubtedly her own stale pampering routine and that Lady Sorcha would appreciate the variety. "You could enjoy the parlor along with Lady Lightswoorrddd!"

If the two were bothering to pay attention to her it would almost seem as if Maoin was joining in just a bit on the entire teasing thing. "I could take this dress back home and then wait for you two to finish, alright?"

Fia looked over at the shot that Gwynn had done, raising a bit of an eyebrow as she hit the edge of the furthest target. It was rather brazen to shoot for the farthest target unless you were good enough to do so, but even getting as close as she did was an accomplishment.

Of course, a little fire ran in the girl's blood. If SHE won then she wondered what the woman who used to be her servant would give her. "... I-I'll go ..." The phoenix felt a strange sensation as she lifted the bow as a sense of familiarity filled her. She'd seen these before in her dreams hadn't she? Could she copy their technique and ...

In a single fluid motion the crimson haired girl placed the arrow inbetween her two fingers, lifted the small recurve bow and pulled the string back primarily with her shoulderblades, aimed for less than a second and released. For a moment the low powered bow sent it through the air and ...

... bulls eye. The arrow didn't have the satisfying thud that an English longbow normally had and even to her the sound was barely audible. "... wow ... I'm lucky ... I guess ...?" Fia was a little bit surprised that actually worked but she gave Gwynn a little smirk in spite of herself that seemed victorious.

Meowka glared at the pair of them as she cradled the still flopping fish in one arm while eating a dying one held in the other. "I-Idiot!?" The cat walked up to her mistress seeming to have largely ignored the water woman for the time being as she leaned forward just slightly in an attempt to seem a little more aggressive. "I-I was planning on doing that! And what is cute about me? I'm a proud prowler of the-" The fish in front of her twitched slightly in spite of its wounds which Meowka responded to by making another one. The cat didn't seem to mind continuing her statement in spite of having a full mouth. "I'm a prowler of the night, I'll let you know. A proud huntress."

Meowka still hadn't gone to the nervous looking grillers who were recovering despite the situation.

~Gwynn & Ritsa~

"Huh..." Gwynn watched Fia hit a perfect bulls-eye on her first shot. "How in the..." The pirate rubbed the back of her head, looking from the target to the child trying to figure out what just had happened. There was no way this untrained kiddo could do something like that without some sort of cheating. Well, it's a good thing she wasn't planning on playing fair to begin with. "Heh, I feel bad for Ritsa," She shrugged looking over to the Hydra. "Here we are both hittin' the furthers target and she's never held a bow before in her life, have ya?"

"HM!" Determination crossed the hydra's features as she held the bow in her hands. She might not be able to hit the furthest target, but she could do something amazing here too! She walked up to the range, knocking the arrow in a similar fashion that Gwynn did, fumbling with it for a moment before being successful...and then knocked a second arrow alongside the first one.

"Uh, Ritsa...that's not going to...work."

The hydra didn't seem to be listening however, and instead pulled the string on the bow back as far as she could - considering her strength she nearly bent the bow more than she likely should have. Before anyone could say anything else, the Hydra released the string, sending the arrows flying. As inaccurate as the Hydra was, she didn't hit the target at all.

One arrow careened over the entire field, seemingly burying itself in the middle of a sign of a tavern a street or so over where Gwynn's men were staying at. The second ricocheted off of a metal street lamp, redirecting it's path right back towards a certain pirate - impaling itself in her hat.

"GAH-! Seven seas-Ritsa that was-" The hydra was just grinning up at Gwynn seemingly fairly proud of her results.

"Ritsa did good!"

"...yeah, yeah ya did." Gwynn grumbled giving the hydra a pat on the head. "Gah, and I liked this hat." The pirate grumbled, turning back to the range herself. "Heh, lets see if I can beat little miss prodigy here, eh?" Gwynn grinned, readying her bow again. Unfortunately for Fia, she wasn't going to be loosing this. She knocked an arrow - a hand running over the point of the projectile before pointing it at the target, pulled the string, took a deep breath and let the arrow fly. The projectile flew straight and true towards the far target - slamming into the bullseye right alongside Fia's.

"And one more!" Quickly, Gwynn knocked another arrow pointed it at the far target and took another deep breath - but instead of firing it directly at the target this time, a split second before firing it she pointed the bow upwards towards the heavens. The arrow flew high, earning a few surprised gasps from a few onlookers, obviously not exactly expecting such a daring - or likely highly inaccurate shot to be made. Gwynn however, simply wore a smug grin, pulling the arrow out of her hat and spinning it between her fingers. A few seconds passed...and the arrow fell, being angled just so that it scored another bulls-eye.

"Heh!" Gwynn chuckled, giving Fia a competitive grin. "That's how ya shoot a bow." A few claps erupted from a few onlookers.

Once again, the Hydra gave Gwynn an unimpressed look, giving the pirate a judgemental stare.

~Miren~

"Ah, I believe that's Squid." Miren replied. "It's rather rare around here, but it's quite popular in the east." The rabbit smiled. "I've had some myself, you know. It's pretty good! Well, I am partial to vegetables but anyways," She turned to the vendor, observing a number of other exotic foods. Definitely not from around here. "Hehe, one thing I love about the festival is all the different people you could meet, you know?" Miren grinned, purchasing some squid herself.

"I...I don't really go often becasue the amount of noise tends to make me a bit uncomfortable, but It's a great way to meet a lot of interesting people."

~Cynthia~

Cynthia didn't reply, but judging from how red her face was she was just trying to process everything she had just done. She picked up one of the pastries, stuffing it into her own mouth and chewing on it slowly. The maid seemed happy that Mugi liked both of the gifts at least, though. A few seconds of silence passed before the Maid finally worked up the nerve to reply to the Yuki-Onna's original question about the dance.

"Yes...if you want too, we could go to the dance." The maid, sighed. "If you manage to keep your hands where you're supposed to, at least, I wouldn't mind going."

~Celine~

"Prowler of the night?" The undine scoffed, smirking condescendingly towards the cat. "You? You're just a child, a stray, an insignificant speck that this filth probably just took pity on." The undine turned her gaze back to Katherine, frowning at her accusation. Before either could react, her body seemed to fall in on itself as it became nothing more than a mass of flowing water. It leaped out of the tank, Celine's body forming again right in front of Katherine.

"And handle you, filthy human? I can handle all manner of filth you insignificant speck of muck." Celine gave a dismissive huff. "I am a purifier. I cleanse filth such as yourself." The undine turned her head towards the cat, a cruel-seeming smile forming on the undine's lips before she continued. "But I won't tolerate an untrained, flea-ridden stray in the same vicinity as I."

~Sorcha~

Sorcha watched Richard go with a small smile.

"Your father seems nice, heh." Sorcha chuckled lightly, turning towards Luna. "Perhaps we could visit the place before the dance, Maoin, right now though..." The dragon hummed lightly, seemingly debating for a few seconds before seemingly coming to a decision. "I heard they're actually having jousting matches near the lake." The dragon gave Luna a grin. "I am curious as to how well you handle the lance as well as the sword."

~Livia~

Livia breathed deeply, the smell of fall was quite the intoxicating one indeed. She always liked the fall festival. Such a pleasant event, really...as long as people like the Undine didn't make a nusciance of themselves. She'd pay her a visit later and show her the meaning of 'obedience'...though considering how close they had gotten, she might need to pay a visit to Katherine instead and tell her to keep her pets on a leash. Heh, now that would be amusing.

"Hm...isn't that?" Her thoughts were interrupted when Livia noticed a certain father of a certain adorable knight walking through the crowds. Well, now this was going to be quite the interesting conversation then wasn't it? The headmistress put on a friendly smile as she walked over to Lord Lightsword.

"Ah...Richard Lightsword. Quite a distance you've traveled, isn't it?" The headmistress spoke warmly as she approached. "Hows the festival so far, hm?"

Lunalel Lightsword

"Jousting? It's been a while, but I still remember how to use a lance. Just because I'm a Lightsword, it doesn't meant that's all I can use." Luna joked before pretending to hold a spear and shield. Hopefully they'll have good armor, Luna didn't have any heavy armor after all. "I'm surprised I've not heard of there being a jousting event. Well, not that there are probably all too many that are excited to participate." She said, turning to Maoin. She offered to run the dress back to the room?

"Maoin, if you could... Could you run the dress back to the room. It's not that far away but I still would need to sign up and actually put my armor on. Let this Knight entertain you two and bring back a victory." The Knightess said with confidence to the two magical creatures.

Eith the Shellagh

"Squid is weird." Eith said as she almost practically swallowed the second half of the squid whole. Still, Miren enjoyed meeting people? It wasn't something Eith was especially capable of. Enjoying it, that is. Most people were just silhouettes against the background that didn't really mean much. She just looked at Miren and cocked her head a bit, "You enjoy meeting new people?"

Katherine Lindall

"Yes, Meowka, you are a bit of an idiot. I love you either way." She teased the cat some more before patting her head while looking to Celine. "Oh? You think you can handle me? I highly doubt it if you can't tolerate a single cat. And contrary to what you say, she has no fleas nor is she a stray anymore. Her being untrained makes her a thousandfold more interesting than some familiar that just follows your every word without even a ting of disdain..." The Puppeteer had to sigh before continuing. She went a little to into detail on that one. "That said, I'm sure if we did a cleansing again you couldn't handle me. I like to think I've let you do whatever you wanted those few times."

Mugi the Yuki-Onna

"We're going then!? Yay!" Mugi exclaimed, pulling their hands closer to her face so she could put them to her cheek. "I'm glad the Elder sent me a nice Kimono. It's rather formal but it looks really nice. I think she sent a couple more too, if you wanted to wear one. We could match a theme." The Yuki-Onna seemed excited enough for the dance. Her hands unclasped Cynthia's and she reached to the otherside of her girlfriend and pulled her closer with a hand rather close to the maid's butt. "But I'm not sure where my hands are suppose to be." She leaned her head on Cynthia's at the end of her sentence.

Richard Lightsword

In the middle of his contemplations, a woman approached and asked him a question or two. He brought his blonde head up and looked at her. She was quite beautiful. Big in the right places, small in the others. Rather fit the description of the Headmistress that Luna sent in a letter not long after she arrived. "My apologies, but are you the Mistress of the Academy, Livia Fiore?" She nodded and affirmed his thought and he continued. "Ahh, admittedly, I've not really done much. As soon as I get the rest of my party we'll have fun. Speaking of, I needed to ask you a question. I've recently adopted a friend's child and I want her to learn a bit with Luna. Seems she has a bit of talent for magic so I want her to see what it's like here."

Maoin listened to the other two and nodded as Lady Sorcha mentioned that might be a better activity right before the dance. In the mind of the cat there was never a such thing as receiving too much pampering but it was rather apparent that she was more interested in watching a joust. As Lady Luna suggested she take the dress back to the room anyways the kitten gave her a quick bow with a smile and hurried off silently to put the clothes back at home.

Unfortunately for Gwynn she had miscounted one thing - the opponents relying on standard eyesight. Unfortunately her nemesis was capable of seeing the differences between scratches on the backs of various cards and it was rather apparent that the arrows were being tampered with in their flight trajectory. She hadn't flown yet, but it was rather apparent to the girl that something was off about the aerodynamics of the entire situation.

If she wanted to cheat though so could Fia. The phoenix pulled out one of her arrows and fired the next shot similar to the first one aiming for it to make contact with one of Gwynn's. She didn't split the arrow - she had heard of such feats but even for a fantastically skilled archer that was a feat. Instead, the two arrows simply made contact at the bulls eye where a slight spark would appear to happen where they crossed ever so suddenly.

Then the pile of hay burst into flames after a couple of seconds with Fia giving Gwynn a big smile. "... I win ..."

"H-hey!" The cat took another bite of her food. "I-I'm not an idiot!" Despite Katherine's joking accusation it seemed the girl had taken it somewhat seriously for whatever reason. As the woman petted her afterwards though and continued to call her interesting for how untame she was it seemed that Meowka would have conflicting feelings regarding this entire situation.

She really didn't like this water spirit. Or how Mistress Katherine was so obviously egging her on and trying to rile her up. It was obvious to Meowka.

"I can leave you two alone if that's what you want. I got my fish anyways." Heading over to the grill, the cat left the conversation with a brief look over her shoulder as she brought the fish over to be cooked.

~Gwynn & Ritsa~

Gwynn simply watched Fia fire her next shot with a bemused expression, shoulders slumping slightly as she gave the girl a look of disbelief. Win? How was that...that was no winning. The pirate sighed, placing a hand on her head. She gave Fia a serious look.

"No, you destroyed the target you idiot." Gwynn replied with a grunt. "Look, Sure, I may have been using my magic to give me a bit of an edge, but you don't 'win' a contest of skill like this by destroying the target. That get's ya disqualified. Try something a bit more subtle next time." Big words, coming from a pirate who routinely just said 'Blast 'em to bits!' when she was on her ship, but eh. "Besides, that wasn't ours and you just destroyed someone else's property. heh, not that I have much of an issue with that but in a crowded place like this that's just silly."

"What in blazes are you doing?!" The owner of the archery range bolted over, more than a little irked at the destruction of the attraction.

"Speaking of..."

"Y-you destroyed it!"

"Technically, we burned it."

"Well, you're going to fix it!"

"Hmm..." Gywnn rubbed her chin thoughtfully. "Not really great at that sorta stuff."

"Well buy me a new one then!"

"Well, if you insist." Before the owner could say anything else, the ice mage raised a hand to the sky. A cold blast of air radiated from her palm as a large chunk of ice about the size of the previous target formed a foot or so above her head. "Here ya go!" The large chunk of ice floated in mid air for a few seconds, giving Gwynn just enough time to grab Fia and heft her over her shoulders. Ritsa had already started bolting, it seemed.

"I-I can't use this!" He shouted. "At least put it in the damn range!"

"Just put it on my tab!" Gwynn laughed heartily before sprinting away from the scene, hefting Fia over her shoulders. Before anyone could say anything else. Thankfully with both of their natural stamina and athletic ability, it wasn't difficult to get away from the seen of the crime before anyone could be called. "After finally coming to a halt some distance away, Gwynn dropped Fia back to the ground near a tavern.

"Waha, man, that could have gone better." Gwynn chuckled, giving Ritsa a pat on the head. "But seriously, there's a difference between being clever and just being a bitch." The pirate said to Fia. "But eh, I'm in a good mood. You guys want anything?"

~Miren~

"Aha, maybe a bit weird sense I'm so timid by nature," Miren giggled taking a bite of the Squid again. "But I do, despite it. It's always nice to meet someone, you know? Especially a culture or people you've never met before. There's always so much you can learn from others, right?" The rabbit rubbed the back of her neck sheepishly. "I-it sounds a bit silly when I say it aloud, though." Miren offered Eith a shy smile. "Uhm...you know aside from food is there anything else you like?"

~Cynthia~

"F-for starters you could try putting the hand a bit more up." The maid stuttered out as she felt the Yuki-Onna's hand on her. Not that she truly minded, but this was a public place. Public displays of affection were not her forte. A kimono though? Well, she supposed it wasn't too out of the ordinary. She didn't have very many clothes aside from a few leisure outfits and her uniform which she wore more often than not. "...Kimono sounds lovely, however." Cynthia continued, resting a hand on Mugi's leg.

~Celine~

"Haaa?" The undine gave Katherine an incredulous look. "I am most certain I can easily handle you, filth." Undine watched the cat leave, a small smirk forming on her lips. "At least that cat knows whose her betters are. Perhaps she's not entirely hopeless, hm?~" Celine chuckled. "Perhaps you'd like to demonstrate just how I wouldn't be able to handle you, though, hmm? I'm curious as to how filth such as you can be so confident."

~Sorcha~

"Aha, of course! Let us head over then!" The dragon gave an excited grin. "We'll meet you there, Maoin." Sorcha gave the kitten a pat on the head. "We'll go on ahead. I'll make sure we have some decent seats to see the spectacle. Come along, Luna. I want some roast mutton~" The fact they were likely serving that, was very probably one of the main reasons the dragon was interested in going. The trip to the tournament area was quick enough. After a bit of a wait in line for those to sign up, The dragon parted ways with Luna...giving the knight a friendly swat on the butt before giggling to herself and running off to the seats.

Oddly enough she didn't have any issue getting one. In fact, it seemed like she had the biggest VIP booth in the area.

~Livia~

"Oh my, it seems my reputation proceeds me." Livia chuckled. "I do hope you've heard nothing dreadful, hm? I shudder to think of what some of the more silly rumors about me are." She offered a friendly smile, humming quietly as she thought a bit about Richards words. "Another student? Well, I am always happy to accept those who wish to learn here, so long as they behave themselves." She gave Richard a curious look. "Does this question of yours pertain to them attending the festival or perhaps me showing them around a bit?" She offered.

Luna blushed slightly from the slap on her rear Sorcha gave. Regardless, she proceeded to their armory and found they provided excellent armor. Likely they didn't want an accidental deaths. Understandable. Luna found a nice set of armor that fit her well enough. She had to wait a bit until she was brought out for her match. It seemed there were a couple of rounds before her match, which was well enough to get her horse use to her. Soon enough though, a man came and said, "Your turn."

Soon enough, she found herself on the field mounted on her horse. Jousting lance in her dominant hand and a large shield on the other. She raised her lance in the air, hoping that the crowd would cheer. However much of a crowd there was. After, she merely readied for the match.

Eith the Shellagh

"Things I like beside food?" Eith repeated as a question. She couldn't think of much really. The only thing that especially caught her eye was food, though that might have been an instinctual thing. As she thought it over, the only other thing that even remotely brought a decent smile, or what passed for one with Eith, was "Miren?" She asked, almost confused to the bunny.

Katherine Lindall

"Enjoy your food, Meowka." Katherine waved the cat off with a smile before turning back to Celine. She was really running her mouth off today. Well, like with Meowka, it made her cute. "My confidence? Well, I always have back-up plans. I know just about everything going on around me." She poked a finger rather firmly into the Undine's squishy chest. "It might also come with the fact that I'm sure you have a submissive switch somewhere inside you. We just have to find it." Katherine wasn't amazingly confident, but most of those prideful ones usually did.

"Not wholly." The Lord said as he scratched the back of his head. "She's twelve, a little on the younger side and I wanted to know if it were possible for her to stay for a month or two so she can figure out if she wants to learn here. Would that be possible? Apologies, I'm not one of you mages myself so this is a bit outside my realm of knowledge." He did seem fairly unsure of how she ran the academy.

Fia gasped in surprise as she was suddenly lifted, waving her arms around frantically in momentary surprise as the three of them bolted away from the target practice. Eventually the three of them settled down and the bird once again found her feet on the ground. The phoenix gave Gwynn an angry look and for one of the few times in her life raise her voice at the woman but the girl noticeably paused as she noticed one of Livia's specters watching over them.

She didn't understand why they needed to be chaperoned like this. The former maid couldn't be more than 3 years older than her and based on her experience in the mansion had a lot of maturing to do. And she had been the one who started the cheating despite being their supervisor. But like for most of her life the girl remained silent and simply scowled at Gwynn before taking a step behind Ritsa when her blood began to cool down.

Her own suggestion had gone badly, and partially due to her own fault. She poked Ritsa and hoped that the girl would be willing to pick out the next interesting thing that was nearby them.

The kitten returned to the dorm, dropped off the dress, and packed a basket with various foodstuffs for them to enjoy at the game. A couple small sandwiches for snacks, some cool water, and a couple other things. Soon enough Maoin hurried back out to the field so that her owner wouldn't be left waiting and eventually found her in a private stand with several extremely comfortable chairs. The kitten at first didn't sit down and instead approached her owner.

The cat pulled out a gift wrapped bottle, took a gulp, and tried to gather Lady Sorcha's attention while they still had a bit of alone time before Lady Luna's match began. "Happy festival mistress!" The girl started to pass the bottle over but paused reaching into the bag once again and pulled out another wrapped object that was about twice as tall as a person's hand. "And I remembered one this time!" The kitten's ears twitched and tail waved back and forth as she made her proclamation, obviously placing some pride in it.

If Lady Sorcha decided to open the gifts she would find a bottle of Nordic Mead that the cat hoped would remind her of home. It probably wasn't anywhere near the finest ale the Radiant Queen of the Heavens had drank, but the kitten had saved as much of her allowance as possible and hoped it was at least passable. The second wrapped object was a tall glass with slight decorations in it. Nothing a noble would ever purchase but it was well constructed if not fancy and had the words 'Mistress Sorcha' engraved in it. The kitten looked down a bit nervously after a while and put her fingers together. "I-I know it isn't a lot mistress, but thanks a lot for everything." Her eyes drifted over towards the glass. "A-and the engraving was a mistake. I-I told them to put my mistress 'Lady Sorcha' on the glass and they wouldn't refund me. I know it's not one of your preferred titles but ..."

Of course the moment Lady Lightsword entered the field the crowd went quiet. As the knightess raised her lance though as a sign of salute for the spectators the crowd went crazy. Jousting competitions were always an exciting thing to watch for both the highest noble and the lowest peasant as they waited for lances to shatter ... but with her mistress love doing it the kitten felt more concern than anything else. Eventually the crowd quieted and the cat turned towards Lady Sorcha.

~Gwynn & Ritsa~

"...wow, you're a sore loser, aren't you?" Gwynn grunted. "Don't take something like this so seriously, red. You'll get wrinkles. Have a bit of fun with life or you're gonna end up a crotchety old woman like that Clete guy..." Gwynn sighed. "Well if you don't want anything, you want something Ritsa?" The hydra thought for a moment, before turning her head towards Fia for a few long seconds, likely trying to think of something.

"Hmm...something with...water?" The Hydra replied unsure. She was just having fun tagging along with Gwynn and Fia.

"Haa...why do I get stuck watching these two..." Gwynn grunted. She hated kids like these two. She wasn't good with unsociable types. Gwynn rubbed the back of her neck. All the things she wanted to do just would end up getting all of them in trouble, and she just wasn't really comfortable doing around kids their age. "I'd suggest fishing or something but you'd win that easily." Ritsa grinned at what she perceived to be praise.

"Lets see..." Ah wait, maybe there was something she could make herself! "...you've never been ice-skating, have ya?" She asked the redhead. At this Ritsa brightened immediately.

"Oh oh, lake lake! Come on, pretty!" The hydra grabbed Fia's hand, giving her an expectant look.

~Miren~

"E-eh? Come again?" Did...Eith say her name? The rabbit gave her a confused expression, pointing to herself with a free hand. Her face started to redden slightly as her mind started jumping to conclusions, theories, and similar things in typical jumpy bunny fashion. She...she couldn't have said her right? She must have misheard. Right, her bunny ears misheard. Yep, she had good hearing but not perfect hearing. Obviously she misheard. Yep yep, that was right. Misheard.

...

"O-oh, w-well, t-that's not entirely what I m-meant." The rabbit nervously stuttered out. "I-I meant like...stuff...like, I like traveling and reading." Ohhh, Change the subject please.

~Celine~

Submissive...switch? That was...The undine gave Katherine a deadpan look before laughing loudly, having to hold her stomach with her arms. Absurd! Hilariously absurd! She would never do such a thing! There was absolutely nothing that could 'switch' her to something like being enjoyed bossing around by filth. It took a few minutes for the undine to stop laughing and actually address Katherine before finally replying in a not so friendly fashion.

Before Katherine could react, a whip of water smacked her loudly across the face, a second grabbed her by the ankles, roughly yanking the feet of the mage out from under her and hoisting her up by her ankles.

"Ahaha! You're funny, filth." The undine leaned towards Katherine. "Me? Submissive? Never. Not for anyone. You are more than welcome to try, certainly though...but in the mean time I think I'll remind you who I am." Celine started walking, heading towards the location of Katherine's home. If the mage was to do anything, now would likely be the time.

~Sorcha~

Sorcha made her way to the elevated platform constructed for viewing. It was, in actuality the only one in the entire makeshift arena. After all, she was the most important person here and she couldn't let anyone else sit on the same level as her of course, heh. Well, aside from a certain kitten that would show up later.

The Arena itself was simply constructed. Well crafted wooden stands were used for seats on bot sides of the jousting field, with her private little box sitting at one end. Her box in question, was a bit more elegantly crafted of course. A roof to protect her from the harsh rays of the sun, and the seat in question was an elegantly crafted seat one might expect to find in a well off nobles home. Luxurious, comfortable, and a bit ostentatious. Next to it was a small table for food and drink, and on the other side was another, slightly less seat for her servant - Maoin, should she so desire to sit of course.

"Oh, hello Maoain." Sorcha lounged in the luxurious seat, resting her arm on one of the rests, folding her legs and watching the proceedings beneath her. "Indeed, it's a festive happy day today, isn't it?" It was easy to tell, now that she was in a bit of a public scene the dragon was behaving a bit differently then she did when it was just her and Luna. A bit more restrained, with more decorum and a little more of an overall demanding presence.

"Oh my," Sorcha looked at the wrapped gifts, pleasantly surprised by the kitten. "Someone is spoiling me, heh." She chuckled, reaching up and giving the kitten a pet on the head. "Thank you Little One, these gifts are wonderful indeed for the occasion." She opened the mead, pouring it into the glass. "Feel free to take a seat, Little One. Don't forget to enjoy the festivities yourself."

It was then the festivities seemed to finally get underway. Sorcha had a very good view of the field from up here. As soon as Luna entered, there was a cheer from the crowd, though it was far from overly loud. It was a respectable crowd to be sure - there were quite a few knightly types here. Perhaps not as large as the festival itself, but there were definitely a number of people here. She had made sure to advertise well, after all.

Soon enough though, the crowd calmed down as a voice rang loudly over the field.

"Hey hey folks!" The feminine voice shouted, amplifying her voice with some sort of sound based magic. "How are all of ya doing this fine day of autumn festivals?" The speaker could easily be seen upon the field herself, walking around the middle of it, definitely intending to draw attention to herself. "I'm your friendly commentator Marie~! I'll be your host for today's events! Thank you all so much for coming out here today! It definitely wouldn't have been possible without a generous contribution by a certain little dragon currently present. Say hi, dragon!~"

Tsk, this girl. Sorcha sighed, getting out of her seat with a small smile. She walked to the edge of the box, placing her hands on the edge of it and waving to the crowd.

"Greetings, my fellow festival goers." The dragon began. "It is a pleasure to make your acquaintance! I am glad to see so many out here today. A Magic Academy isn't exactly the average locale for knightly endeavors, is it?" The dragon laughed. "I understand, I feel a bit out of place myself! It's why I organized this little event! So enjoy it, and afterwards for all participants there is a feast to be had!"

There was a cheer from the stands as Sorcha waved once more before settling back into the seat, wearing a small, somewhat dopey smile.

Ah~

How she missed this attention.

"Wooow, you heard it here folks! An actual dragon to boot, how about that! The prize for even competing is a small cash prize depending on how well you do! Most importantly though, fame, glory, and recognition! For the winner? Well, that is something miss dragon hasn't told even I! Must be something really incredible, heh! Well without any further ado let us get this tournament underway! Contestants, ready your arms and steeds! Fight fairly and no dirty fighting!" With that, Maire retreated to the sidelines, on a little box where she could watch the events unfold.

~Livia~

"Only twelve? Hmm..." Livia hummed quietly. "While I am fine with allow any who wish to learn here the chance to do so, that is a little young to be letting around here alone by themselves without supervision." Aside from being irresponsible it'd be somewhat dangerous to allow the child to be here unsupervised. They might get into things they shouldn't, really. "I am assuming you have someone in min to watch over her?" Livia questioned. "I certainly wouldn't mind it, but I am unsure if I could devote any more time to such things. I already am...watching another child, between her and other duties I am not certain I'd have enough time to do it myself."

The headmistress shook her head, motioning for Richard to walk with her.

"Speaking of I am in a bit of a hurry myself..."

Lunalel Lightsword

Underneath her plate armor, Luna had a somewhat worried look on her face. Of course Sorcha put this entire event together. That's why Luna hadn't heard of it until not that long ago. Not that it really changed anything. She played to win. Though she was a little wary of what the grand prize was. Regardless, a person on a horse appeared on the other side of the field. It was hard to tell who it was or where they were from considering he or she was also wearing full plate. The two contenders urged their horses to the starting point and stared each other down waiting for a starting sign.

After ten or so seconds, a man yelled "CHARGE!" and the two started the match. The crowd cheer as they awaited the inevitable crash. Her opponent landed a glancing blow on the outside of Luna's shield and splintered his or her lance barely making Luna budge while Luna's blow was true and knocked her opponent straight off the horse. Once she verified her victory, she raised her lance in a sign of it, eliciting a cheer. She couldn't help but look up at Sorcha's box before heading off the field for the next set

Eith the Shellagh

"Oh. I don't know then. The only things I really 'like' are food and Miren. Other than that I don't really know." Eith was only sure of those two things, otherwise she lead a boring life. "I guess I like to sleep too." She added, hoping that was what the bunny meant, though even she knew better. "That's not what you mean either, is it?"

Katherine Lindall

"Oh my, you're taking me off somewhere?" Katherine asked. If she left it be, she'd just be letting the Undine go have it her way. That was no fun was it? "You know, the way you're holding me is just asking for me to touch your chest." Katherine said as she started to teasingly poke Celine in the boob. Or, whatever counted for her boob. If Celine didn't really respond to that, Katherine would up the ante a bit and move straight into a caress or massage. "Feels nice."

Richard Lightsword

"Oh, my apologies." Richard said as he started to walk with Livia. "Truth be told, I was hoping to have her stay with Luna. They're like sisters now, and I was hoping they could get along." Richard said. "Sol is a fairly mature girl, much like Luna was at her age, but she's still young and I'd rather make sure someone responsible is watching over her. Seeing as Luna has a dragon familiar. . . Well, I feel like there should likely be no trouble. Though it might pose a problem for them if they wanted to do that but. . ." He almost seemed to forget who he was talking to when he said that, "Ahh, no, nevermind that last part."

Maoin's tail waved back and forth happily as she received praise for her given gifts - it seemed Lady Sorcha liked them! "Yes mistress!" The kitten eventually headed back to her seat, setting the small basket between their two chairs and lowering herself into an extremely comfortable chair that clearly belonged to the servant in their little family. She'd maintain a bit more formal distance for now as it was becoming extremely apparent that Lady Sorcha was trying to behave in a more formal manner - though having her servant constantly refill her glass could eventually change her perspective on that.

Of course, the match was exciting and the announcer both enthusiastic and cute despite how she made Lady Sorcha roll her eyes. The horses charged, and the Lightsword family took the day. Of course, the kitten let out a cheer for her owner's friend and waved at her. " Lady Lightsword you are purrfect!"

The three of them headed off for the lake together as Fia found herself being dragged along by her companion after giving off a small nervous nod. Sore loser? It wasn't as if the pirate had won, but at this point she appeared to be silent on the matter.

Of course as she looked over the still watery lake the girl looked towards Gwynn with a bit of confusion. "No ... ice? ... can you make that much?" Fia wasn't sure if she had ever gone ice skating before, but it sounded as if a good solid frozen surface was necessary for it to happen. "A-and how does it work anyways?"

Most of her dreams had happened to the south where 'ice' only existed for the rich as they were pulled out of mountains - the phoenix tried to find something in her memory but found it lacking.

Meowka stood at the grill as she waited for her mistress to deal with the Celine her ears perked up and listened to the entire conversation in great detail. Soon enough the pair of them were gone, and the cat found herself alone at the large and crowded festival not feeling very impressed with the entire situation as she took a couple bites out of the fish in the basket before her sitting on a lonely bench nearby and crossing her arms in frustration.

It wasn't as if more than a couple weeks ago she hadn't been out foraging her own food - but now here she was stuck at a festival surrounded by people she didn't know and left in the dust after being insulted by those two. In spite of the fish it would be clear to the girl that she simply wasn't in the best of moods.

~Gwynn & Ritsa~

"Ha, can I make this much." Gwynn laughed. "I'll have ya know I froze a certain Hydra's legs in place once, heh!" Ritsa giggled lightly at that as Gwynn turned to the water, walking to its shore. She'd done it before, so it wouldn't be too difficult to do it again. The pirate took a deep breath, holding her arms in front of her before exhaling. The mage made a simple motion, and the reaction was almost immediate.

The lake water started freezing almost instantly. Sounds of ice snapping and cracking could be heard as a thick blanket of ice covered the area in front of Gwynn. She wasn't going to freeze the entire lake, no. That'd be a bit excessive. Just a large enough chunk so she could have a bit of fun with it. She jumped onto the frozen floor, landing without even the slightest slip on the ice. As her feet hit the ice, another cold gust of wind radiated from the pirate, freezing more of the lake around her. It continued for a minute or so before Gwynn was satisfied with her handy work.

"Annd there we go!~" Gwynn laughed loudly. "Alright you two, get your butts onto the ice! Lessons start now!" Ritsa tugged lightly on Fia's hand, leading her to the ice with an encouraging grin.

~Miren~

"Ha..." Miren sighed, shaking her head. "You need more hobbies, you know? But I guess it can't really be helped in your condition." The rabbit frowned at the thought. How cruel was that? Forcing some sort of seal on someone so that they can't even think clearly beyond basic functions. Eith had always been simple minded, but Miren was at least somewhat convinced that she wasn't that way by choice now.

"Weeel, come on then! There's still some stuff to look at." With that, Miren finished her squid and hopped off, motioning for Eith to follow.

~Celine~

This.

Human.

Was really getting on her nerves.

The undine stopped walking at the incessant poking at her chest which eventually turned into a slightly erotic massage halfway through. The watery appendage holding the human up by her ankles released her, causing the human to fall to the ground unceremoniously. The undine's cheeks were colored a pale purple from slight embarrassment from the humans actions.

"There is a time and place for everything you scum." Celine folded her arms, giving Katherine a clearly annoyed look. "Unless you want me to tie you up out here for all to see?~ Oho, I'm quite sure you'd like being the object of everyone's eyes, wouldn't you?"

~Sorcha~

"Oooh, what a blow!" Marie laughed loudly from her own perch. "Thrust so hard his lance broke! Boy, I even feel sorry for the guy! He's not gonna be thrusting his weapon for any more lady knights after that. Heh, the lady knight had no problem thrusting her lance though! He certainly took hers like a champ! Maybe he likes his lances more than the lady does? How many times can I fit lance and thrusting euphemisms into one piece of commentary? No idea!" She giggled, snorting as she did a little twirl. "Annnyways, prepare for the next contestant! Show them boys how to use a lance!~"

As the opponent fell to the ground, Sorcha simply grinned mildly, clapping her hands and watching from a distance, though she oddly didn't seem as enthusiastic.

"Shush Maoin." Sorcha quietly scolded the servant for cheering so openly for Luna. Not that the dragon wasn't happy she won of course. "We have to at least appear to be impartial to the winner, you know. I am happy Luna did well in her first match but we can't appear to favor one or the other. It might cause an...imbalance." With a small sigh, the dragon took a drink of the Ale. Couldn't over do it in public, no. She had to have at least some manner of decorum and grace. Not her usual swallow everything whole without chewing tendencies.

"Be a dear and fetch something from the food vendors, would you?"

~Livia~

"Oh my," Livia chuckled impishly at Richard's comment. "Sorcha is an old friend of mine. I doubt she'll be doing that with Luna any time soon at least." The headmistress' steps eventually started carrying them back towards the campus grounds. "Still, if you wish for her to stay with Luna, I can arrange it easily. I shall likely need to give her a larger room to accommodate four people staying in one room, but...it shouldn't be too much trouble." Ah...perhaps she could use this chance to get to know Richard a little better herself?

"Ah, I almost forgot. I am holding a rather large dinner at my own villa this evening. I am inviting a number of important people from around the area, and if you'd like you have an invitation."

Lunalel Lightsword

"That's one match down. Doesn't look like there are all too many matches for this." Luna said as she took off her helmet while some of the other contestants were having their go at it. There were some decent looking competition, and others not so much. They were pretty much weeded out in the first match here until the point that Luna was called out for her second match of the evening. Another person was on a horse across the way again. They looked a bit bigger than the last person she fought, so hopefully he was a bit more of a challenge.

Marie gave her little speech as she did before and soon enough someone said, "Charge." Again. Both riders urged their horses forward. The two raised their lances against one another. . . And a grand hit from both! They recoiled from the hits and lost whatever brace their shield arms had but stayed a top their horse. Now it was time for round two. They charged again, this time breaking both of their lances against each other. Luna was almost knocked off this time, but she kept on her horse almost barely. This match is more of what she was expecting at a jousting match.

Soon enough, the two were re-equipped with new lances. Soon, they charged at each other again! Lance met shield, and Luna was still atop her horse. Her opponent not so much. Internally, she cheered. Externally, she raised her lance again, showing her victory in the current match. There couldn't be too many of these left. So the Knightess made her way off field again, to make way for the other matches.

Eith the Shellagh

"Okay." The Shellagh had little idea what Miren was going to have them do. There was much at this festival she'd never seen before. Some odd games that looked just a little too complicated for Eith to figure out, though with the recent change in Eith's mental capacities they might just be possible to understand. She seems to be able to do a little more in the area of cognitive functions since then, so she might be able to thank Selvina just a little bit in the long run.

Katherine Lindall

"Oh my." Katherine said as she fell and hit the ground. When she looked at the Undine's face, she saw the clear annoyance in it, but at the same time, she was blushing something fierce. With a quick glance, they didn't seem to be anywhere with a high population of people. . . Or any people for that matter. "Oh, come now Celine. It's not like there's anyone around to spy on us." The teacher said as she stood up and moved over to Celine and threw her arms over the water woman. An Undine's body was an interesting thing to touch. "No one around to see that cute little blush of yours either." Katherine said before giving her a peck on the cheek. "Except me, being the one to make you do so. Didn't know an Undine could blush like that either."

Katherine Lindall

Around Meowka, a couple of dolls gathered. The cat was obviously down. Katherine had given orders to them to help keep the girl entertained so they'd do the best in their tiny selves to make that a possibility. . . Though that was mostly on Meowka herself. One grabbed at the cat's leg and shook it a bit, to get her attention. Once they had it, they showed her a couple of gestures that they wanted to do stuff with her. Or something of the sort. If nothing else, the cat should be able to figure out they were there to keep her company.

Richard Lightsword

"It would be much appreciated if you would do that Miss Fiore. Richard said with a great smile. That was one part of his evening quickly taken care of. Now, as for what she had said about dinner. "An invitation for dinner? Far be for me to decline such an offer. Though, who else might be "important" that you are inviting?" Richard asked, curiosity in his voice. He wasn't all too sure who all she deemed important after all.

Maoin's ears dropped as she was told not to cheer for Lady Lightsword, but she nodded. Of course the order that she was completely prepared for being issued a couple of seconds later distracted her better than a fish flying through the air could manage. "Of course mistress!"

The enthusiastic kitten practically pounced towards the small bag she had brought just for this purpose with a smile crossing her face as she brought the sandwich over to Lady Sorcha. "Made just for you mistress - some of the meat is lamb like I know you love!" The girl decided to be willfully ignorant of the fact that the dragon appreciated her share of mutton likely because it reminded her of days when she used to raid small villages like some powerful god.

Maoin really wanted to curl up against her owner or kneel at her feet but looking at the dragon's more serious expression the cat gave off a slight sigh, a respectful curtsy, and then returned her chair to watch the games. The second match didn't go nearly as smoothly as the first, and watching Lady Lightsword face a more worthy opponent set the cat-girl on the edge of her chair as the knightess recoiled. The girl hoped the next match wasn't quite as violent.

As the two stood on the ice the phoenix hoped that some other memory would come to her mind like with the bow as she was brought towards the lake and allow her to score an easy bullseye. Perhaps one of her prior incarnations had experience in this matter and would be willing to show her how it was done and allow her to look graceful.

This was not the case however as Fia immediately slipped on the ice and felt her face plant against the frozen surface as she stood back up with a nosebleed, only for her feet two slide against the ground and for her to fall onto her rear end with a resounding thud. Her eyes squinted slightly due to the pain but she adjusted quickly - she'd been through worse in the past.

This time she stood up a bit more gradually and looked towards Gwynn in hopes she had instructions on the matter.

Meowka looked down at her leg as she felt some other presence shake it. Leaning forward slightly with a slice of fish being devoured by her tongue she observed the doll as it stood there and seemed to start trying to make signals. It took a while for the cat to interpret, but she understood that they were there to make sure she had a good time.

"Fantastic. You-" The girl pointed at one of the dolls as she laid down on a bench. "Find me somewhere I'll be appropriately pampered. Obey the prowler of the night or face my wrath." Had Mistress Katherine given her these dolls to be used as her temporary slaves? It seemed the prowler of the night cheered up noticeably as she thought about the idea as she gazed down at the doll with just a slightly predatory grin.

~Gwynn & Ritsa~

"Okay okay, don't hurt yourself." Gwynn chuckled as Ritsa slid over to Fia. The Hydra gave her a big grin, helping her stand up. "Hrm, you don't have any skates though so this might be a little tricky...uh, hm. Augh damn it forgot to stop by the dorm and grab them." She could just give herself skates made of ice herself. For Fia though, it wouldn't exactly be uh, a good thing. "Eh, I'm sure you'll be fine." Without another word, Gwynn walked over to Fia, placing a firm though gentle hand on the girls shoulder. "Alright key thing you need here is balance."

Gwynn went on to demonstrate the proper form to simply gliding easily enough. Ritsa joined in as well, though not as well as Gwynn considering her natural aversion to the ice and simply lack of skill.

~Sorcha~

"Bang! Crash! Crack!" Maire shouted loudly from her pedestal. "Ladies and gents, that was the sound of hard work, sweat, and determination! I wonder if the lady knight wouldn't mind thrusting her lance at me, hah!~" She giggled. "Actually, no, don't do that becasue I'm no good at this stuff. Annnnyways- second match goes to the blond lady knight again! She's doing really well! She's certainly a good one, isn't she? The matches will resume after a small interlude!~"

Sorcha cheered quietly from the stands as Luna won again. She eagerly devoured the food Maoin bought, not paying mind to much else as she did so. It had been awhile since she had some decently cooked lamb, and Maoin certainly did deliver. The next matches proceeded with various level of difficulty. Some were felled in one hit, while others too many more - and quite occasionally did Luna look like she was going to fail herself. In the end though, it was reduced to Luna and just one other Knight.

"Alllllright ladies and gents! Humans and Dragons! Adorable kittens that I want to kiss!~" Maire giggled, giving the box Sorcha was sitting in a bright grin. "The final match is upon us!~ Who will win? I dunno, lets get the final match underway already!~"

~Livia~

"Just a few nobles from the area. Some of the more powerful mages, and few people from the church." Livia replied with a sigh. "Truly, It's likely going to be a boring affair but when you're as popular as I am you have to do these things." She chuckled lightly. "Oh, there will be a few...personal friends there as well, though they shouldn't cause too much trouble." She hoped at least. Myrilla had already been told not to cause a ruckus. Viatrix though? Well...not so much. "I wouldn't want to subject you to such a thing though, so you are free to decline of course." She stopped for a moment, seeming to think for a moment. "I do not know if you've heard or not about the recent discovery of a certain lost City, but one of their diplomats are supposed to be arriving this evening."

Lunalel Lightsword

Luna was glad to finally be at the end. She'd endured many challenges thus far, some easier than others of course. Now, she found herself against the last opponent of the tournament. This was quite the imposing man too, little surprise he made it to the finals. Still, the Knightess was not daunted. She was ready for the ready signal. When it was yelled, she urged her horse onward as did the opponent. Their first pass was uneventful. Their lances almost harmlessly bounced off the edges of the shields. The second and third passes were a bit rougher on both ends, receiving direct hits but managed to stay on the horse. The fourth Luna's lance broke upon the enemy. After receiving a new one, she ready for what was the final pass. The opponent's lance broke, and Luna thrusted at just the right moment and at the right spot to throw the man off balance and he fell off his horse.

Luna raised her lance and took a victory lap around the field, showing off her glory and splendor to the entirety of the crowd. She then looked up to Sorcha's box with a smile underneath her helmet. Whatever Sorcha had planned, she was going to unveil now. The secretive Grand Prize was a curiosity to most to be sure.

Katherine's Dolls

The dolls looked as if they'd sigh and grabbed Meowka and carried her off somewhere. Soon enough they found themselves in front of a stall. It was a game. Horseshoe Toss, to be precise. The dolls set the cat down, but given their size, it was more of sitting her on the ground while one jumped up to the stall and handed the attendant a coin, pointing at Meowka. He looked at the dolls curiously, but thought little of it after a couple of seconds of thought and put a few horseshoes down for Meowka. The dolls looked pumped up for her to play. There also seemed to be a few cute looking prizes for making so many horseshoes.

Richard Lightsword

"Lost City? I've not heard." It was nothing of interest to the Lightsword domain after all. That was something for the King to worry about. "Either way, I would be glad to join you. It'll give the chance for the kids to catch up without old father hanging around." Still, it would be a good chance to talk to officials he had not ties with yet.

Maoin smiled as the matches went by and Lady Sorcha enjoyed her small meal and avoided cheering for Lady Luna or worrying about her too much as the matches went by. Eventually there was the announcement for the final match as once again the enthusiastic-

The kitten blinked twice. W-what did the commentator say? The girl's eyes shifted around as she searched the stands for other kittens as Marie looked towards her. For a couple of seconds the cat stood still as if processing the result - then her face turned into a complete tomato as the thought seemed to come completely from nowhere and the girl wasn't quite sure how to react.

Sure, she'd done these thing before, but that wasn't really flirting and she had initiated it. How was she supposed to r-r-r-respond? The girl dressed in white was cute and very very happy and based on her language was quite experienced in the ways of pleas-

Her face would have gone more red if possible and the very very very strong urge to hide overran the kitten. If Lady Sorcha decided to look for her she'd only see Maoin's head periodically poking beneath the roof and checking to make sure her owner was fine before returning to her original hiding spot and trying to stay out of sight from the entire world.

Goodness, this was embarrassing. She hardly noticed the match ending until the crowd cheered but for right now the cat would remain hidden. Seemed like the best option as her tail swished back and forth a few times before going over the ledge just into sight of those inside the stand her mistress was in. When she wasn't checking on her owner she simply looked towards Marie and glancing away quickly.

Gwynn was surprisingly helpful after she managed to injure herself, Ritsa offering her a helping hand. Fia tried to follow her instructions, looking at Gwynn's legs as she slid forward against the ice. Fia nodded and tried in her own way, but nearly slipped again as she slid over the cold surface - she clearly wasn't used to dealing with this. Despite that, the girl tried once again and managed to keep her balance this time with a smile as she moved forward slightly clearly a little nervous.

Then she started to giggle a little bit. "... this ... this is strange ..." She pushed herself forward just a bit faster but couldn't slow herself down effectively and fell onto her butt once again. This time though she managed to find her own feet and smiled at Gwynn as if looking for additional instruction.

Meowka smiled as she was suddenly carried off to ...

What was this? As she was set on the ground and stood up, she looked at the game. She couldn't read the sign, but the goal was rather self explanatory. She was supposed to toss this horseshoe? The cat raised an eyebrow at the dolls, wondering what they were thinking. It was obvious they were excited for this 'sport' of theirs and some of the prizes seemed to be mildly cute for her eyes.

With a sigh the cat tossed the horseshoe with a small amount of effort and it missed the stick completely. She picked up the next one, throwing the horseshoe with a bit more frustration as it knocked the stick over. For a couple seconds she looked towards the dolls with a am I doing this right expression but quickly corrected it as she realized that obviously she was. She was Meowka, prowler of the night and familiar of an archwizard!

~Miren~

Miren and Eith moved through the crowd, tasting various different foods of different areas of the world as they moved along. The Headmistress really outdid herself this time, didn't she? There were just so many things to choose from! And it looked like at least, Eith was enjoying herself too. They had played a few simple games, though didn't particularly achieve anything spectacular with them. Ah, she should come to these things more often shouldn't she? The noises hurt her ears a bit but she always had fun with this stuff.

Except....

There was a sudden commotion from near the center.

"Hello, everyone!~"

"E-erm? What is..." Miren turned her head to the source of the voice. Whoever it was, was speaking loudly, likely using to use some sort of magic to carry their voice across the entire central area. The person in question was standing atop a large stand...and seemed to be quite inhuman in nature. She had white hair, amber colored eyes. Two white horns jutted from her forehead, large bat like wings extended from her back and she was dressed in very risque clothing.

"You may call me Lucifer! I'd say it's a pleasure to make your acquaintance you ignorant humans but I'd be lying~! And before you imbeciles say anything, yes, yes it is I. Evil scary demon and all~" She giggled. "You may be wondering what I'm doing here, and well, don't worry. I'm not after your delicious little souls. No, I'm after something a little tastier and a bit more tangible. I've heard tell of some delicious treats being made here...and I'll be taking all of them!~"

As expected, there was a sense of disbelief that hung in the air.

"Now now, don't give me all of that. What? Don't believe me? What, expect me to have goat hooves and be all spooky scary? I mean, I could get my dad in here if you want but he's a bit of a grump and all that. Anyways, fun fact - When I came here I may have also left a portal open to the underworld and some undead may have seeped through along with two of my servants...so have fun with that! I'm off to steal your candy now, buh-bye~!"

In the blink of an eye the woman was gone.

...what...had just happened? There was a scream from somewhere not far as a group of people started running.

"I-It's a zombie! Run!"

Miren's heart felt like it skipped a beat. Zombie? Undead? Oh dear oh dear oh dear this was not fun. What happened?

~Gwynn & Ritsa~

Gwynn couldn't help but to show off a little as Fia started to get the hang of the ice. She was going much faster than probably what would be considered safe. She jumped, twirling rather gracefully in the air and landing with a single leg on the ground, continuing swerving and pulling off more complicated maneuvers before skating back towards Fia, coming to a complete halt almost instantly next to the girl.

"Come on, Fia." Gwynn said. "Practice makes perfect!" Ritsa gave the redhead a light shove, giggling lightly.

~Sorcha~

Sorcha couldn't help but to laugh loudly at the kittens antics. Marie was such a pleasure as she always had been. She wasn't particularly fond of the girls origins but one couldn't chose their parents or ancestry - and the girl was pleasant and perfectly friendly save for a few quirks. Perhaps seeing Marie would be good for the kitten? A thought for another time perhaps. Something much more important had just happened - It was a sight to be sure, to see Luna win. The dragon had no doubts of course that her chosen knight could easily thwart any competition.

The dragon stood at the front of the box, cheering with everyone else now that the competition had been over with.

"Thank you all for coming out here today! There will be a grand feast for all the participants at a very fun tavern. Marie can give you directions if you have need of them, but for now the competition has come to a close!~" There was another cheer from the crowd as the festivities came to a close. Sorcha turned away from the crowd, and towards Maoin who was still acting all embarrased. "Escort Luna up here, hm? Feel free to find Marie after this if you want, heh~" The dragon chuckled.

As soon as Luna would make her way up to the VIP box, she'd be met with a very empty room - save for a large box that had a piece of paper on it that said 'Open Me' on it. As soon as Luna would open the box's lid, there would be a spray of confetti as - but...it was empty? Completely empty. Before Luna could say or ponder it though, she was swiftly hugged from behind, the dragon laughing lightly.

"Gotcha!~" She laughed. "Dragon has claimed her prize, contest over and now dragon will drag brave knight back home~"

~Cynthia~

Cynthia and Mugi hadn't really moved from their spot for the duration of the festival for now. Cynthia was just happy to be near the Yuki-Onna, just enjoying her company and eating these sweets she had prepared earlier. It was heaven, really. So nice to just enjoy another persons company like this. Such a rare, happy occasion.

"Bwahaha, mine!~"

Suddenly the box of sweets she was eating was snatched form her lap, along with the one she was just about to eat herself. The culprit in question, was either a very odd demon or very oddly dressed human.

"Sorry ladies, these sweets now belong to the pumpkin lord!~ Ta-ta lovelies!~" The thing wearing a pumpkin for a head dashed off again. Cynthia simply sat there, staring at the empty space where her sweets had just been. No, she wasn't upset they were stolen from her...but they had been for Mugi.

"Get back here you masochistic pumpkin!" Before Mugi could question what was even happening herself, Cynthia bolted after the pumpkin headed person.

~Livia~

"Ah, excellent. I am sure they would love to meet you, Richard." Livia replied friendly...until a commotion was heard from the center of the town.

She'd...She'd recognize that voice anywhere! Viatrix! What in the name of the demon lords was she doing?! This was not why she agreed to this thing...though she supposed she shouldn't have expected anything different. Livia sighed, a small smile forming on her lips. "Well...seems someones gone and decided to play a prank." Well, not her problem for now. She was sure it'd sort itself out eventually. If not, well, she'd just have to teach them all a very harsh lesson. "Follow me to my Villa, will you? The first of the guests will likely be arriving soon."

~Marie~

Boy, that was fun! It was nice seeing funny little humans beat themselves to a pulp for entertainment. Not as great as the coliseum back home, but still! These little mundane knightly matches had been a pleasure to watch. Especially that little lady knight the dragon had her eye on. Still, she should get moving - she had an appointment to keep and well, as utterly important as she was she couldn't be late, nope! Her mom would kill her if she was late. Not that she understood why - she shouldn't have to bend to the whims of these people. She was far too important.

Ah well~

Maybe they'd be entertaining.

To bad she didn't have a cute little kitten accompanying her.
