Eith and Katherine Lindall

First Katherine looked to Selvina, "It probably was the reason. As for being help..." The Puppeteer said as she turned to the bunny sitting with the subject matter herself. "Probably not. Not right now at least. I'd probably have to think it over with Livia. What I could tell, it's pretty complex. The 'top layer' is gone, but that might have been the easiest to get rid of." She shrugged, unsure of what else she could really good for them. "I'll talk to Livia about it, she might have an idea about it I don't. Never really have dealt with much of this type of thing."

Eith looked confused still, but she knew that this teacher wasn't much help right now. "Thanks for trying then. . ." She said, leaning on Miren a bit. "I suppose it wasn't a fully wasted trip Miren." She looked over to her old caretaker and then quickly averted her gaze. "Though I wonder why Selvina is still here." She minutely complained. She didn't really seem the type to care, from what Eith thought. She really didn't want to start anything at this point though. Albeit more out of not wanting to be irritated.

Selvina simply sighed as Eith let out her little insult although she somewhat understood the reason. Of course, the lack of the teacher's ability to heal the hounds injury was also depressing for the entire situation ...

Although the picture of Eith pulling out a book to read for a couple of minutes as the pages smoldered in her hands was truthfully a little hilarious. The mage wondered truthfully how much her personality would change after this ... would it be for the better?

"The school nurse and my father are other possible options as well, although I fear this may fall outside of their abilities just as it has yours, Miss Lindall." The mage seemed to be speculating their own solutions. Meanwhile Meowka continued to stand there, accepting more head rubs if they were offered but otherwise slipping just a little bit more behind Miss Lindall.

~Miren~

"O-oh, okay." Miren replied with a troubled sigh. She was really hoping Katherine could help here without Livia's help...if only because that's what Eith was more comfortable with. Still, if Eith seemed okay with it now she supposed that was that then. She should probably get back to the store, then. As Eith spoke however, one of her ears twitched curiously. Wait a minute...

"E-eh? Eith? Did you just call me Miren?" The rabbit asked, tilted her head to the side. That was...odd. Very odd. In the short time she had known the hound she had only been referred to as Bunny. "And Selvina as Selvina?" Come to think of it, she had used Katherine's name earlier as well. She had been too worried about Eith herself to really pick up on it, but this was definitely odd!

Eith and Katherine Lindall

"I... I did? I-I can do that? M-miren?!" Her voice showed a bit of shock as she knowingly said the name and her hands rushed to her mouth. "I can! W-what is this!?" She was showing a bit of excitement, though if this was good or bad has yet to be seen.

"Ahh, this is what I was talking about earlier. I never really paid attention to her so I never noticed. How could you two miss that important a thing?" Katherine said, messing a bit with Meowka's hair before looking at Eith. "That's probably because of her losing a bit of that seal. It's probably a coincidence that she lost herself as she did. Rather, it's happened before hasn't it? Is it that different from that time?" The Puppetmaster had to ask. Eith wasn't sure so she just looked between Selvina and Miren, still seeming confused over her newfound ability to say names, full names.

At this point Selvina looked between everyone in the room and back down at the fire mutt. Now that Miren had mentioned it.

The noble quickly came to her conclusion.

"Look, you've really got to fix this. I'm really concerned now." It was clear a slight smirk was running across her face as she said it though. "She doesn't look like she's overheating while she said it either ..."

An idea!

"If my reappearance traumatized her in a healing manner ... maybe we could simply annoy her until the seal is completely gone?" It was an idea, although admittedly a bad one. "Though I sense we could be playing into someone's hands. I know I upset you, but if someone considered you so dangerous that you required a seal to keep you down ... then why was it so easily broken? There wasn't even any magic involved in it. Whoever set this in place was likely intelligent enough to know the inevitability of this."

"That's...n-not exactly the best of ideas, Sel."
Miren replied with a slight frown. "Erm...that type of seal sounds complex, it might have something hidden in the deeper layers of the binding designed to be more...dangerous. I've seen my fair share of magic seals in my travels. I may not have magic, but I'm one of the better ones when it comes to reading them!~" She giggled lightly, before returning to the topic at hand.

"A-anyways, we don't even know if it was that easy to break, Sel." Miren continued. "There's no telling how long the seal has been there, or even how many times it took for this to happen to weaken it as it is." The rabbit shook her head, scratching one of her ears lightly as she thought. "There are far too many unknowns to reach a reasonable conclusion yet - more than we have at least. We do have a lead though," She looked over to Katherine. "Yes, she has 'overheated' before, but not quite so like this. Normally it just happens and she sort of...forgets whatever she was thinking about in the past five minutes or so. Is there anything else you can tell us, Katherine?"

Eith and Katherine Lindall

Eith thought Selvina had a decent idea, but then she just gave a horrid answer. The Shellagh just growled angrily at her for such an answer. She didn't need to anything really. Then Miren started talking, and making more sense than the mage. And then asked the Puppeteer a question. Katherine looked at Eith for a minute, pondering. "Nothing concrete. I could make a likely assumption though. Assuming the mutt's natural body is hot as that in the first place, whoever made the seal likely used that fact to help them make a fail-safe. If she thinks too much, the hotter she gets. When she hits a threshold, she goes into a 'safety' sort of thing. To protect the body for burning itself to a crisp. They probably didn't want her to think too much for whatever reason, so they locked that up. Or maybe she talked a little too much and they were annoyed" It seemed very plausible if nothing else. Katherine looked away from Eith and back to her own familiar where she pet the girl on the head again.

"So, you don't know why?" Eith had to ask. She wanted to make sure.

"Nope. I'd tell you if I knew. You are more likely to know than I. You had a caretaker before this right? Maybe she'd know more." Katherine did pay enough attention to know that Myrilla took care of her before whatever it was that she sent Eith out for before. "Perhaps I could ask her. Or have someone else ask. Well, somehow I'm sure that person already knows." To which confusion ran over Eith's face. "I'll look into things on my end if you want. As a favor to you Miren."

Sel nodded. It seemed her attempt at some humor had failed, but Miren did bring up a good point. This could be the straw that broke the camel's back.

Although this raised another question. If 'Caras' meant 'Caretaker' then didn't 'Eith' mean something else? Did she actually have another name? "Hey, Eith? I'm also wondering if you have another name. Like you called me 'Caras' even though my name is Selvina. Do you have another name aside from 'Eith' that you can remember?" It was entirely possible that such a question would lead them to having a name, and they could research a name.

She wasn't a big fan of talking to Myrilla however, possibly being on the high side of the list for disliking her. As for Meowka she wrapped one of her arms around the source of her prot- affection, leaning into the pettings a bit and putting the other arm around the archwizard as if trying to keep her close. Which she was of course. Due to the pettings.

Yep. She wasn't afraid of this puppy at all! Fish was more important. "Y-you said y-you needed me for something, mistress?"

It was a good question Selvina posed, actually. If the hound couldn't call people by names, then there was a chance she didn't call herself by her own name either, but rather a title of some sort. Still, not something she was going to linger on. Considering she hadn't elected to call herself something else now that she could, she wasn't going to press the issue.

"I see...thank you, Katherine." The rabbit smiled. "Uhm, I dislike being rude but I need to get back to my shop. Some...hooligans made a mess of things." The rabbit sigh. "Made an entire section of shelves a mess and even stole a book! The worst part is they didn't even leave using the door. Busted right through the front windows!" The rabbit looked absolutely dejected and was quite obvious she wasn't looking forward to cleaning up the mess left behind by a certain demon and ninja.

"If there's nothing else, I suppose Eith and I can leave for now. I'm probably going to be cleaning the rest of the evening."

Eith and Katherine Lindall

Does Eith mean anything? The Shellagh just looked at Selvina like she was stupid. "Eith is just Eith. It means nothing. It's a name like "Selvina" is." She added, "Though it's my real name, unlike the example." After that, she looked back to Miren who was ready to leave. "I'll help you clean." If nothing else, it was her home as well.

Katherine waved the two out. "Good night you two, I'll talk to a couple of authorities on the issue. Well, not that they don't already know by now." As those two left, the teacher stopped Selvina. "Oh yes, a couple things "Selvina" or would you prefer "Swen?" Well, either way, I have a couple of things you might find useful or interesting."

She grabbed her kitten familiar closer. "This girl here is a blood relative of that cat your fiance-turned-pirate use to have. It's a small world isn't it?" That was the first thing she wanted to say. "Second, you should probably step carefully around ladies, lest you step on every snare around them." She smirked a bit on that before continuing with a smile. "And bring that fox of yours to come see me sometime. She seems entertaining."

Selvina frowned as Eith insulted her intelligence, but understood that she was still upset and likely to be mean to her because of it. Although it grew into a slight glare as she continued with her end comment. Of all people, she should understand Myrilla's mechanizations.

Though as Miss Katherine decided to hold her behind and explained the situation with Lady Gwynn the noble blinked a couple of times as if confused. Truthfully, what the former servant of Lady Foghlu did wasn't much of a concern to Selvina and she gave a non-committal shrug. By all accounts Maoin had been disowned and completely deserved what happened to her. "Lady Selvina is fine, Miss Lindall. Thank you for your time here." With a sigh the mage shook her head and turned around to leave and catch up to the others. For the rest of the day she intended on being close but not interacting with Eith too much as to avoid angering her.

And of course, she likely wouldn't bring the fox by. But the teacher had no business knowing that.

Meowka stood there as she was grabbed even closer to the archwizard and looked at the mage as she decided to leave, a little confused about the entire situation but seemingly relieved that their party was gone now and out of her turf. The cat huffed slightly and if allowed would assume her usual close-but-not-touchy distance with Mistress Katherine as she split off and jumped onto the cabinet.

"... Is that all ...?"

"Yep. Means I have to deal with some annoying stuff it seems." Katherine said as she flopped back on the bed. "See? That dog was harmless. You did well." She complimented the cat. "Anyhow, the school festival is soon, so we get to indulge ourselves in a bit of fun. I suppose you've not been to one before. If not, we'll have some fun." Katherine added. She didn't really feel like doing anything now. The dress could wait for the morning. "Geez, I'm going to have to call on a lot of favors for this one." She needed to act like a teacher sometimes though, this was a good chance.

~Later that Evening~

As students milled about the square for the upcoming festival, they would notice quite an odd sight. A certain pink haired demon hanging upside down from a large tree, tied by her feet with her hands bound behind her back. Around her neck hung a simple sign with the words 'Book Thief' written on it. Nearby, sat Kozue who seemed to be meditating and seeing if Lyssa was actually re-thinking on her behavior...or seeing if the accomplice would show herself.

In the crowd, a single girl dressed in foreign garb simply gave a determined smile, before turning and walking away. Heh, the book was theirs! Now for preparations to the upcoming festival. This would be the best party crashing in history...

~Day of the Festival~

~Lyssa & Ayumi~

The rest of the week passed with little importance. The students went about their school work as fall finally came in full swing. A pleasantly cool breeze blew through the town surrounding the Academy as the sun reached its noon peak. The entire village was alive with the festivities. The smell of baked goods, pies, and other autumnal treats wafted entirely through the town as the vendors that sat up their stores and stalls for the festivities sold goods to the entire town. The students were given the day off of course, free to enjoy said festivities.

"Hheheh...so, we can do it with this, right?"

"Your humiliation will not go in vain, my pink friend. With this, we shall totally be able to crash this festival!"

...perhaps some students were taking too many liberties with the free time.

"Well, lets get this started then! I got all the materials and stuff from my mom. This. Is. Gonna. Be Great!"

~Livia~

The same could be said for the headmistress, She had spent most of the week making sure everything was in order, going over Mugi's enrollment into the school...and of course, discussing a certain hellhound with Katherine. She had managed to pry some information out of Myrilla regarding the mutt after several round of...'interrogation'. Still, she was curious as to whatever ailed Eith. It could perhaps be an...excellent method of control some time. All she could get though, was a location of some experiments...it was a location she was fairly familiar with, actually. An old castle somewhere central Europe. The castle had a...well, history for attracting some fairly unsavory sorts. Wasn't the first time there had been experiments taking place there.

For now though, she walked the grounds with Fia on her heels. She had given Cynthia the day off to spend with Mugi. It was the least she could do for the maid.

"Hm...this is more delicious than last year." The headmistress offered the man running the small shop a smile. "You certainly have kept up the fantastic work."

"Ah, well," The man laughed. "You honor me Headmistress. It's great seein' you again this year. You two enjoy now!" He said, waving the headmistress off as he tended to a couple that had just walked up to his stall.

"Here, Fia." The headmistress handed the redhead a slice of pie. "Not quite lunch, but well...I figure you deserve a treat, and Pumpkin pie goes well with fall." She chuckled. "So, Little Fia, lets see if we can find your friend, hmm? Gwynn said she'd meet us near the center plaza."

~Gwynn & Ritsa~

"Now this Ritsa, is what I'd call fun."

"Fun!"

"A proper party!"

"Proper party!"

"Ah, I love the fall almost as much as I love sailin', heh!" Gwynn chuckled good naturedly. This festival so far had been great. Her men seemed to be enjoying themselves as well. They had taken almost an entire three tables in an area where a bar had set up tables outside for its patrons to enjoy the festivities. She could still hear 'em singing, carousing, and otherwise being their usual scoundrel selves.

Ah, she was never going to get tired of this.

"Now, lets see...G-ah! Watch where you're climbing on. You see 'em yet, Ritsa?"

"Hmm...no pretty sighted!"

"Eh, they'll be here sooner or later. If not, I get ya all to myself." Ritsa simply giggled and patted Gwynn on the head, making her hat uneven as they waited for Ritsa's play date to show up.

~Miren~

Miren wasn't one to really do much during festivals, really. Not that she didn't enjoy them of course! They were just loud and hurt her ears a bit. Not to mention all the people - it wasn't good for her little bunny heart, nope! Not that she wasn't going to enjoy the festivities, of course! But she wasn't leaving far from her store - her bunny tail was staying firmly planted in a chair just outside the store door with a nice cup of warm hot chocolate.

"Ahh~" The rabbit sighed, after taking a sip of the drink. Brr, she hated the fall. Mostly because that meant winter was around the corner and she didn't handle cold well.

Lunalel Lightsword

Luna was excited for the festival. It was the first big one she's been to. Sure there's been harvest festivals and the likes of such things for mass celebrations, but this was a sight to behold! Still, she had one final thing to do before enjoying the festivities. "Is the outfit finished?" She asked the tailor. He smiled and turned over the masterwork dress. It had some nice mithril plates set in a way to make it useable as a dress. It gave her a sense of protection, and was still a nice beautiful blue dress. She took Sorcha and Maoin along, though it was probably more like they just followed her.

"Well. It's nice that it's ready now. It was a bit more difficult getting the mithril than I thought it would be, but it's done. It's also a lot lighter than I actually thought it would be. Luna said, looking over the dress as they walked back to her dorm room. It didn't take too long for them to drop it off and then head back towards the festival. "Is there anything specific you two wanted to do?" She asked her familiar's and the kitten.

Eith the Shellagh

"Miren." Eith said from behind the bunny. Saying her name now was odd, but she got use to it over the last week. It seemed so far Katherine hadn't figured too much out or perhaps decided not to share. Well, she said that she'd figure something out, so Eith just decided to believe in her for now. Miren seemed to trust her somewhat. "That festival thing is today, right? What's it like?" She asked, curious.

Katherine Lindall

"Well then, Meowka. I'm sure you'll enjoy yourself. There's tons of different things to do." Katherine said as she looked around. "Though honestly, I'm a bit more interested in the food they have around. There's a lot of things from around the world. As an example, she practically dragged the cat along until they found themselves at a stall with a bit of Steak cooked quite nicely and then stuck on a stick. She bought two for herself and the cat. "See? It's good." She said after taking a bite.

Mugi the Yuki-Onna

Mugi was practically hanging on Cynthia's arm. "Oh! This is so exciting! I've never really been anywhere so crowded. Was it like this every year?" Mugi asked, her head turning to take in every little thing. She dragged her girlfriend around to play many of the different games. They were nothing like back home! Well, some of them where, but she never really went to a festival back home either since she lived deep in the mountains. She always seemed to make a habit of pulling Cynthia's arm between her chest, whether intentional or not. "Thanks for coming out here with me!"

Kozue Komichi

Kozue was enjoying the festivities. As much as she could at least. Her real mission for this day was clear, find Ayumi and Lyssa and stop their shenanigans. They were up to something. They made that much clear in Miren's shop. What they were doing beyond that was mostly likely a horrid prank.

Selvina had dressed up just a little bit for the festival, although she avoided make-up and other things that took years of practice and instead planned on simply hiring someone to do her up before the dance. As of now she was pulling on some slightly ornate boots and giving the fox a smile as she finished preparing herself.

A few things had happened this week that made the mage happy.

1. She had visited Eith several times, and although the hound was still upset the mage was confident they would return to something of a working relationship. Food was likely a large reason why this was working.
2. The fox had actually cleaned the room when she had returned home that day and was waiting for her. She had to resist the urge to ask who she was and what she had done with Sly until she noticed some charms likely intended to curse her and let out a sigh of relief. That sort of behavior was a little bit of surprise and along with a few other small treats from the fox that week the mage found herself fairly happy with their relationship.

"So like I said I completely understand if you'd rather spend the day with Ayumi. You were with her for a lot longer and you two are still ... friends ...?" The mage wasn't entirely certain if that was the correct word as she struggled with making one of the buckled tight enough for the now smaller foot to get into.

Maoin remained silent as Lady Lightsword asked them a question and instead looked towards Lady Sorcha who looked like someone had pampered her in the morning to make sure that she looked extra well. Largely because a certain kitten had spent more than the usual time making sure her owner was ready for the day. And before the dance she'd have to do it all over again and extra. Then she'd end up corralling her drunken betters home before they hurt themselves. So for her just like the people running the booths, the festival meant extra work. It was the life of a servant.

But now that her work load would be light for the next several hours she couldn't help but smile as the atmosphere filled her. Lady Luna would be wearing a dress and the dragoness had paid her enough money to purchase one similar to the red one she used to wear when she was a familiar. Perhaps she'd get a couple of dances in a fancy dress, play a couple of games in the stalls, and have some infatuating romance with someone she'd forget in the morning. It was clear the kitten was filled with a playful excitement as her tail curved into an upwards hook and her eyes drifted around the stalls with various games in them, distracted from the conversation for a minute before her loyalty took over her excitement and she looked towards her mistress expectantly and waited for her to make the decision as usual.

The phoenix wondered along with Livia, planning on wearing the lighter dress that Lyssa had bought alongside her throughout it. She took a bite out of the pie before nodding at the headmistress with a small blush crossing her cheeks. "... thanks ..." For whatever reason, the powerful mage considered this friendship to be her newest priority in life and had even cut severely down on her paperwork so that they would be sure to have time to play.

Fia wasn't exactly sure how she benefited from this, although maybe she simply wanted more time alone so she could have fun in her office without any sort of interruption. It was a possibility. Though she hadn't heard Cynthia and Livia interact since Mugi got involved - the snow woman was cutting into her massages as well.

Eventually the two of them turned a corner around a stall and Fia quickly noticed Ritsa climbing onto Gwynn's shoulders and patting her on the head. An instinctive smile crossed the fire haired girl's face as she waved back at the pair of them. "... Hi ..." It was quiet, but hopefully she wouldn't have to raise her voice too much to be noticed.

Meowka felt like she had been put on a leash while Mistress Katherine dragged her around the festival. It wasn't that she had a problem with people, or the admittedly tasty steak stick she was taking a bite out of, but rather that her idea of a good day was a long relaxing break in a comfortable house being rubbed by a nice servant and nibbling on fish from a nearby plate. This whole 'festival' idea seemed a little-

"WHAT'S THAT?" The teacher would feel a rather consistent presence leave her side as she would see the cat sprint up to a large glass tank filled with various sorts of strange looking fish swimming around in it alongside a large grill. Although Meowka couldn't read it a sign said '3000 fishes from around the world' with various dishes listed and the prices next to them. The girl with kitten like excitement didn't do much aside from simply run up to the glass and press her face against the tank practically salivating at the sight as her tail swished back and forth slowly in excitement and she seemed to not see her owner at all.

~Fox~

"Haha, friends?" The fox laughed. "I wouldn't say we're friends, master." The fox jumped off the bed, holding her hands together and walking towards Selvina. "She's just someone that understands me better than you ever will as long as you keep up this attitude of yours, heh." Fox chuckled, shrugging dismissively. "But you're doing well for a second rate mage so far, so maybe if you keep it up you might be able to use that funny little brain of yours to actually change your perspective." With that, the black tailed fox gave Selvina an impish grin before heading towards the door, opening it.

"Besides, her and that pink haired one are up to something quite...troublesome." Truthfully, Ayumi had asked her to help with it, but...well, she said she'd trust this mage and keep her nose relatively clean so she would at least make an effort to do so.

~Gwynn, Ritsa, Livia~

"Ah!"

Ritsa seemed to notice Fia immediately as she came into view.

"Pretty!" The hydra leaped off of Gwynn's shoulders, causing the blond to grunt as her head was used as a leaping board. Ritsa landed right in front of Fia, unable to resist giving the other girl a hug. "Hi hi!"

"Quite the handful as always, is she Gwynn?" Livia laughed lightly as she walked over to the girl.

"Geh, I swear once she Rita gets here..." Gwynn grumbled, straightening her hat again. "Hey, Livia. You don't know the half of it." Gwynn shook her head. "...she's a good kid, though."

"Well, I'm glad, since you're going to be watching the both of them."

"...huh?" Gwynn gave the Headmistress small glare. "When did I agree to that!?"

"Oho, just now~"

"...gah, fiiine."

"Have fun you three. I have business elsewhere to take care of."

"Alright you two, guess I'm gonna be watching you the rest of the evening." Gwynn sighed, patting Ritsa on the head. "So, see anything you guys wanna do?" Ritsa pointed to a vendor that was selling fish. "Other than eat another fish?" The hydra lowered her hand, pouting slightly.

~Miren~

"O-oh, Eith." Miren turned her head towards the hound. "It's...w-well, most people find it fun. There are games, food, and other things you can do. There's supposed to be a dance later this evening, too." She took a sip of the hot chocolate, sighing contentedly and shaking her head. "I-it's kind of noisy and hurts my ears sometimes, so I'm not really going to be doing much." That said though, Eith had never really experienced one before, had she?

"...I could probably show you around if you want, though."

~Sorcha~

"Hmm...the baked goods are always delicious this time of year." The dragon replied. "Ah! There's usually some competitive games and other things we can do to win prizes and stuff. Should be around her somewhere." Of course, the dragon was mostly looking forward to the dance later that evening...mostly because she'd get to spend some quality time with Luna~

~Cynthia~

"It's no trouble..." Cynthia replied to the Yuki-Onna, face only slightly red from having her arm held between the ice womans chest. So far, it had been fun. Cynthia had never really got a chance to go to the festivals before, or at least enjoy them in such a manner as this. Usually she was tending to the Headmistress. Still, it was just about noon and she was feeling hungry...she wondered if now would be a good time? She had made something last evening she wanted to give Mugi.

"Hmm..." Cynthia took a brief look around, noticing an empty bench that wasn't currently being used by anyone. "Mugi...lets rest a moment."

~Celine~

"Unclean claws off the tank, cat." Suddenly, Meowka would hear a voice from above. If she so happened to look above, she'd see a woman leaning over the edge of the top of the tank. Long blue colored hair hung from her head, a voluptuous figure and beautiful pale blue skin. The oddest part though, was that how both her hair and body seemed to simply melt into the tank of water. Before the cat could say anything else, however, the Undine turned her attentions to the humans running the shop. "This tank now belongs to Celine the Undine!"

Without warning, a torrent of water and fish slammed into the grill and the humans running it, knocking the grill over. The humans of course, weren't to happy about this but after being knocked completely off their feet and a sharp glare from the undine they didn't seem to keen on arguing with her directly. Of course, one was also directed towards Meowka.

"Now out of my sight you filth. I have other cleaning to take care of."

Lunalel Lightsword

"Games? How amusing." Luna said as the trio rounded a corner onto an open street where there was hardly anyone. She was about to say something as a boisterous male voice came from behind.

"You! Blondie!" He said as Luna turned to look at him. He was an older and fairly tall man dressed in a formal armor as if he knew his place in the world. He was quite obviously higher up on the pecking order. Not royalty but definitely nobility. He had a longsword unsheathed an seemed ready to fight. Luna noticed this quickly and handed off her dress to Sorcha giving her a look of "Let me handle this." "You've got some nerve."

"Really now?" Luna had to ask, but the man charged at her, so Luna did the same. There was a clash of metal as blade met blade. The two seemed to be enjoying themselves really, as the got more and more at it. Really, they didn't seem especially intent on hitting each other until the man knocked Luna's sword out of her hand.

"Is that all you've got?" The man snickered as he stepped on the girl's sword. Luna made a frown, but took a step back and muttered a couple of words and smirked as a greatsword made of light appeared. Of course, she smirked then as she swung it and knocked the sword out of his hand in response.

"I could make a couple more."

"Gah! You've learned a couple tricks since you left." The man said with a small surprise in his voice, but soon resigned to laughter. "Well, you got me Lunalel!"

"Yes, well, it's not hard when you take it so easy on me."

"But I've not seen you in so long, I was just looking for some fun with you."

Luna couldn't help but laugh. He was always like this. "Please never change." Luna joked as her greatsword disappeared into nothing. Then the two drew into a big hug. To Sorcha and Maoin, the two were obviously close. "Oh! Right." Luna exclaimed as she pulled herself out of the hug and looked back at the two familiars. "Where are our manners, Sorcha. Maoin. This is my father, Lord Richard Lightsword. Father, this is my familiar and comrade in arms Sorcha and her servant and my friend, Maoin." She said, pointing to each respectively. She figured Sorcha would introduce herself in that grandiose fashion she enjoyed.

"Just call me Richard. A friend of Lunalel's is a friend of mine. Though, that said..." He said, looking at Sorcha and her undeniably great body. "I've heard stories from some traveling mages that mages have a tendency to. . . Do things... With their familiars. I know you kind of swing that way so--"

Luna blushed a bit and hit the man on the shoulder. "Hold your tongue, father!" She was slightly embarrassed at that, though probably from remembering the day prior than anything. "We've done no such things!" Luna complained, shooting Sorcha a glance saying, "Tell him nothing." Either way he took it, Richard just laughed at his daughter's embarrassment.

Eith the Shellagh

"If it hurts you, I don't want to go." Eith said with confidence. "Miren's too important to me to want hurt." She added with a overly exaggerated nod. Of course, Eith might have been overstating things a bit, but she was someone who cared for her followers after all.

Katherine Lindall

Katherine almost answered her cat when she saw Celine do her thing where she overly inflated her ego. "Oh my. What is she doing this time." She walked over to Meowka and helped her up while a number of dolls assisted the grillers nearby. "Are you well, Meowka? Of course you are. No familiar of mine is going to be kept down by something like this." She patted the catgirl on the head before turning to Celine. "Hello Celine. I know you like making the 'lesser beings' fear you, but could you tone it down a bit? You spurted my cat with quite a bit of water now and I need to dry her off now. Good to see you again though, love."

Mugi the Yuki-Onna

"Need to rest too?" Mugi asked, happily walking over to the bench with Cynthia. "This festival is really fun. We never had anything like this back home in the mountains! I'm glad I get to go out with you today!" She pulled Cynthia's arm closer to her, enveloping the maid's arm into her cleavage. "I've heard of this 'dance' thing too. We're going there too, right?"

Selvina raised an eyebrow at Sly as she continued to shroud her statements in various forms of insults and teasing. She opted to ignore most of the verbal abuse at this point and simply smiled. "I'm glad you're not being nefarious, but I'm really just wondering if you plan on sticking with me throughout the day."

Despite the misgivings, the book-reader finished tying her shoes and finally managed to stand up with a small stretch. "Any events in the festival you are excited for? We might as well enjoy it before it becomes ruined then." It didn't seem the mage was too worried about the entire circumstance as a whole.

Maoin's mouth dropped. The Lord and Head of the Lightsword house? The kitten bounced twice in her place unconsciously and seemed a little nervous as she was caught unexpected by such a high member of the nobility. F-friend? Of Lunalel? Sure they got along nicely, but the other woman outranked her so vastly that it was hard to see her as a peer.

But still, it would be rude to say otherwise. "... Y-yes. Maoin. That's me! Lord Sir Richard Lightsword." It was obvious meeting this celebrity threw the kitten completely off her game as she butchered the title as her ears twitched with a little excitement. "Th-this is Mistress Sorcha Queen of the Glamourous Heavens!"

The cat picked up the dress out of her owner's hands so her betters could greet eachother without any sort of encumberance.

"... w-wait ..." Fia ran up and gave Livia a tight hug before walking back to her new companion with a smile. "... okay ..."

Fia couldn't resist giving a small pout as Ritsa pouted just slightly when food was denied to her. It was honestly a little terrifying watching the girl eat so it helped the phoenix relax just a bit.

Of course, there were so many things to do it was hard to keep track of. But if they didn't do anything, sooner or later she would end up being chased around by the hydra as if she was some sort of meal to be eaten. "... um ... uh ..." For a couple of moments the girl looked towards the previously unhelpful servant and wondered if she had an idea before taking a quick look at a booth to their left.

"... what ... what is that ...?" In the direction the flame haired girl looked there were a series of bows of varying sizes with a long and expensive range in front of them. At the end of the range were various targets set up in wooden cutouts of several shapes - a bulls eye centered on the head of a knight's visor, one placed on a bird set into a tree, one on a target hiding behind some sort of battlement.

Meowka simply stood there stunned, cold, and a little uncomfortable as she was blasted by a torrent of water. Obviously she could swim if she wanted to and simply chose not to get into that evil liquid, but she had been used to experiencing downpours in various alleys along the road.

"Good to see her again? Love? This bitch!?" Meowka puffed out her cheeks. "SHE BLASTED A TORRENT OF PURE EVIL AT ME-"

For once however, the prowler of the night calmed herself down as she looked into the fish tank. "Give me the tastiest fish in there and I, Meowka, Prowler of the night will forgive you!" The cat crossed her arms, waiting for a response.

~Fox~

"Hm? Festivals are fun." The fox replied with a dismissive shrug. "Sake and freshly cooked meat under a fall tree is just the best, heh." The fox opened the door to the dorm, walking past Sel. "But eh, I'll be around, if my master needs me...crowds aren't my thing. Too noisy and humans are annoying to deal with. Funny to watch though." She stopped, turning her her heels and gave Sel a sly grin.

"Unless master wants this little fox to accompany them? It might be a good idea. The ninja skilled in perv-jitsu and the pink Oni are going to be up to no good today. Would be a shame if...something happened~" She giggled.

~Gwynn & Ritsa~

"Huh...archery range, huh?" Gwynn rubbed her chin thoughtfully, before grinning. She had never held a bow before in her life, but...it shouldn't be too difficult, right? A silly flimsy bow could never match the strength required to wield her sword, heh. This would be easy! "Alright looks fun. Say, you two...hows about a bet?" The pirate grinned, kneeling next to Fia. "Archery contest! Whoever does loses has to..."

Gwynn frowned. Well, she couldn't really think of any appropriate bets for the kiddos. If this was the ship she'd bet her own alcohol or play a nice refreshing game of strip-poker, but...couldn't really do either of those things here.

"Ah, alright. Lets just say if you two kiddos can beat me, I'll buy ya something nice? Sound good?"

"Good!" Ritsa hopped on her feet, grinning brightly. Seemed like she liked it anyways.

~Miren~

"O-oh, I'll be fine! Just a bit uncomfortable is all." Miren said, hopping out of her seat. "It'd be fun to go...w-with you, at least!" She gave the hound her usual unsure seeming grin, but for the most part didn't seem entirely adverse to actually going. "Besides, someone might be selling some rare books..." She gave Eith a somewhat pouty look. "Soooo...you going with me would help a lot."

~Cynthia~

"M-must you use your cleavage to hold my arm?" The maid finally said, face red as she took a seat on the bench next to Mugi. Not that she entirely minded of course, but it was...distracting to say the least. "A-anyways...Mugi." Cynthia looked to the side for a few seconds, pulling her arm away from the Yuki-Onna and fidgeting slightly. "Close your eyes, open your mouth."

Assuming Mugi would comply, the Yuki-Onna would find something being pressed into her mouth that tasted like some sort of pastry. There was the flavor of some sort of blueberry filling mixed with some sort of spice? Definitely some sort of exotic spice there, not enough to overpower the blueberry, but enough to give it a somewhat warm taste. Whenever Mugi would open her eyes, she'd find the maid looking at her expectantly.

~Celine~

Who...who was this kitten daring to presume command over her? How presumptuously infuriating.

"Oh? The tastiest fish? You want it then?" Celine harrumphed. "Well then...be my guest." Before the kitten could even think to regret her choice of action, there was not only a torrent of water blasted at her - this one also had a variety of different fish in it.

"If it isn't the filthy human...and an equally filthy pet." The undine continued, leaning over the edge of the tank and giving Katherine a disinterested seeming gaze. "This filthy thing is yours? How crude." The Undine sighed, seemingly somewhat disappointed. "You shouldn't settle for such a filthy stray, human. You could do much better than that dumb kitten." With a grin the Undine continued. "Though, I suppose I shouldn't be surprised. Filth clings to filth after all...no amount of my cleansing will cure you of that, human."

~Sorcha~

Sorcha watched the exchange unfold with curiosity. She was curious as to who this person was, but if Luna wanted to handle it she had no right to interfere. The exchange unfolded with a friendly sparring match, making the dragon get a little excited. Whoever this was, they were certainly skilled. It really came as no surprise when Luna introduced him as her father.

"Oh my, it's certainly a pleasure to make your acquaintance, Sir Lightsword." Sorcha walked over to Luna's father. "I am Sorcha, Radiant King of the heavens. A grand dragon and current familiar to Lady Lightsword here." She gave him a coy grin as she held out her hand, offering a firm handhsake to the man. "And don't worry...I'm taking good care of Luna here~"

Her tone of voice definitely implied something there.

~Lyssa & Ayumi~

"Everything in place?"

"Yep! With that, we have pretty much everything we need. Made a few last-minute substitutions because your mom was a stingy butt."

"Eeeh? It should still work anyways. Alrighty then! Commence the summoning comrade Ayumi!~"

"Already doing it, comrade Lyssa!"

There was a gentle hum as Mana accumulated inside of the summoning circle. Whatever the two were up to, it seemed they were attempting to summon something - or someone. Not that anyone would easily be able to tell, since they had covered their tracks well and were able to erase most of the magical signatures of the summoning. In total, it only lasted a few seconds before it was done.

"Ah! We're done!"

"Did it work-oh hello...and I thought Myrilla was beautiful."

"Hehe! Auntie Lucy, hi!~"

"Oof-! Who dares tackle Pride-Eh? Lyssa? Oh...it looks like that insufferable demon of wrath kept her word, heh. You two get everything ready?"

"Indeed! Everything is ready for the mass hostile pastry-sweet stealing of the festival. We got our costume and everything."

"Heh, lets get started then..." 'Lucy' looked down towards the current pink haired demon nuzzling her bosom. "...not the time or place, Lyssa dear."

"Oops, sorry~"

Lunalel Lightsword

Lord Lightsword gave a small laugh at Maoin's nervousness. [b]"What a cute cat. It's nice to meet you Maoin."[/color] He said before looking to Sorcha, accepting the handshake firmly, showing the most lordly thing about him thus far aside his bladework. "And you as well, Sorcha. Or do you prefer "Miss Radiant Q- King? of the Heavens?" And just how are you taking care of my daughter?" He said with slight curious tone in his voice. One might find it odd that such an influential figure might act so friendly.

"Father! Sorcha!" Luna complained, slightly irritated with the combination of Sorcha and her father.

"But I just can't help but to tease you, you're so cute when you get angry. Right, Miss Radiant King of the Heavens?" Richard said with a slight giggle before think about something and looking Sorcha head to toe. "Actually, a question, if you would Sorcha. You are called "Radiant King of the Heavens" but as far as I can see, you are female."

Eith the Shellagh

Eith's ears perked up when she heard that Miren actually would be okay with going. "Really? I'm glad. It looks like there's a lot of good food. And if it helps you out, then I'll go." That much was decided and the Shellagh would follow the rabbit out.

Katherine Lindall

Katherine was ready and dodged the second torrent of water that blasted at Meowka. A couple of dolls even got Meowka out of harms way in time. "Seriously, I need to dry her. I'd appreciate if you didn't make her a living ball of wet fur." Katherine said, looking the kitten over again and making sure she was a-ok. After a sigh she just looked back to Celine. "That said, what do you mean "I could do better?" You don't perhaps mean yourself do you?" Katherine teased. "I mean, I'm sure I could handle you as well."

Mugi the Yuki-Onna

Mugi of course went along with Cynthia. She was a bit excited for a surprise! She made an "Ahhhhnnnn." Noise as she awaited whatever it was the maid was going to put in her mouth... It was good! She just wasn't exactly sure what it was. A pastry of sort of course with some sort of fruity-berry taste she never had before. "It's good! Ahh, but, what is it? It's a good taste but I'm not completely sure on what the taste is." She opened her eyes, trying to figure out what the taste was.
