"Wah! Eith!" Miren almost socked Eith in the jaw out of sheer reflex.
"Y-you startled meeeee. Don't sneak up on me in a situation like this." Not that Eith had likely tried, but Miren was already easily startled as it was and as used to situations like this as she was she still wasn't comfortable in times like this.
"I-I'm fine though! I c-can handle myself, a-as long as e-erm M-my little bunny heart can take it." Miren replied, holding a hand to her chest.
It was then a hollow wail could be heard, and the shuffling of more feet.
"E-eh?" Miren turned her head towards the sound of the shuffling - bones, reanimated
"Haaaving fun yet lovelies?" The voice of the self proclaimed 'Lucifer' echoed from atop a building where she was holding a bucket shaped like a pumpkin that was full of various sweets.
"Wah-!" Ritsa was about as coordinated as a drunk seal, and fell over almost instantly. "C-coooold!" Ritsa didn't like the cold - though it seemed Fia didn't entirely remember that so much. Thankfully, at least the Hydra didn't seem too bothered by it. She fell on her stomach, and slid across the ice. Gwynn simply laughed in the distance as she watched the girls play. The young Hydra was much more unconventionally skilled than Fia had given her credit for however. As soon as she hit the ice, strong arms dug into the ice, immediately redirecting her momentum right towards where Fia was sliding off too. Angling the soles of her feet on the ice, she leaped like a fish out of water, her momentum carrying her directly into Fia's back.
"Well, if someone else won..." Sorcha giggled.
"I'd do this for them!~" Suddenly, Sorcha wrapped Luna in a hug once more...and pressed a kiss right onto her lips. It lasted only a few seconds before the dragon released Luna and she stepped back with a grin.
"Isn't the affection of a beautiful maiden like myself enough, hmm?~" She giggled once she had done so. It seemed like at least, this was explanation enough for Sorcha.
"I agree." Cynthia swiftly pulled her rapier out of her dress - wherever she usually kept it in her dress, or how. In her left hand was a series of sharpened knives perfectly suited to throwing.
"Pumpkin pie is delicious this time of season.""Ah-" The pumpkin head looked down at her feet, seeing ice growing up her legs. Likely as a result of the Yuki Onna. Well, that just wouldn't do at all, would it?
"Sooooory frosty butt. Getting cold feet isn't like me, heh!" Before Mugi or Cynhtia could appropriately react, the pumpkin head easily broke out of the ice shackles easily enough by jumping upwards with enough force to shatter the ice, but before she could get very far a there was a satisfying
thunk as a knife that had been throw embedded itself right in the pumpkins head.
"Wah!" The impact had been thrown with the force of wind, sending the pumpkinheads trajectory off, sending her tumbling back to the ground near the Yuki Onna.
"When first making pumpkin pie...you have to cut out its guts, yes?""Ouch, hey, that almost actually hit me." The pumpkin head pulled the knife out of its orange colored head.
"Guess I'll have to return the favor, heh!" She laughed, jumping backwards and throwing a number of throwing stars at Mugi.
"W-ah! Kitten!" Marie shouted in surprise as a little heathen of a child ran into Maoin. Not that she particularly cared in the end but at the moment - Maoin was
hers. Rather the kitten even realized that or not. Still, she couldn't just tell them to get lost. No no, that'd appear bad. Besides, she was in public...it'd be very, very bad to cause a scene here.
"Waaah? No harm done, my pet here is a bit tougher than that." Marie giggled.
"We're just on our way to a dinner though! And, well, erm, my mom would be quite displeased if we were even a tiny bit late. Not that it matters much." She giggled again.
"I arrive precisely when I mean to. Not before or after." She gave Percy and Solana a bright grin.
"Just...prefer not to get grounded or something, heh." Marie turned to Maoin, reaching up and giving her a pat on the head.
"We should get going, pet.""Wahaha, I win! Resistance is now futile! Cuddles will happen!" Seemingly ignoring Kozue's questions, the demon wrapped her arms around Kozue's waist, holding her tightly and attempting to prevent her from using her arms.
"You shall now be cuddled until you surrender!~" She proceeded to nuzzle Kozue's cheek with her own for a few seconds before continuing.
"Ah! I'm not Lyssa. I'm totally terrifying demon lord! And I have no idea what you're talking about!"Seems like the festival was fully underway. For the most part, she had behaved herself. She had promised that funny little human she would, at least. Well, aside from swindling a human out of some squid and sake. It was all fair of course - he agreed to it in the end. When she felt the veil rip between this world and the underworld - she could feel it as plain as day. As deep of a connection she had to it, it was only natural that she'd feel it. She could feel a surge of power, even from having it ripped open! Heh, how fortuitous. She wondered what Ayumi was up to? Probably making a fun nuisance of herself.
The fox would be lying if she said she had no interest or care for that human in particular.
"Ah...it's the Headmistress' pet." The fox suddenly commented as she nearly walked right into Katherine.
"And...she's with...a child? Heh, wow...you're just as bad as she is!" The fox started laughing at the sight of the pale girl with the mage. The girl in question, was about four foot six with long blue hair and pointed ears. Her skin was completely white - and she was dressed in a very familiar dress belonging to a certain uppity water spirit.
"Hush you corrupt spirit! I am not a child! I am the grand undine of the lake and I will suffer no disrespect you mongrel!" The child like voice with which she spoke with made the threats and words a lot less intimidating causing the fox to laugh.
"Ahaha, wow! A god you say? Wow, you must be a perverted god to be hanging out with this slut!"
