5th of September • 9AM • A brisk, chilly but sunny day
The cool salt air drifts in from the ocean on a light breeze, bringing with it the cries of the dock workers and the sound of rushing water. Meandering cobble streets interlace with waterways and towers drenched in waterfalls, seperating buildings by quaint little bridges over moats. The further inland you go, the steeper the slope. Slowly the more homely dock buildings and taverns are replaced with more refined structures of white stone and paved paths. When you crest the next hill, you see it: The Prime District, encircled in a huge canal of water. Today there is quite a crowd.
Induction day for new students! You pass little gaggles of them, meandering their way up the street. Some have gathered in larger groups, excitedly nattering about the day ahead, comparing something on their hands. You pay it no head and walk further up: At the gates leading to the main Academy building and courtyard there is a line of Five Stewards, checking incoming student's bags and directing them to where they need to go.
You feel the tides of Fate change.
Optional Fate Added: Complete the entire initiation process. rewards vary.
~Do not have to interact with the Stewards immediately if you don't want to~
The Upbeat Student
A peppy upbeat Intermediate Student is free by the time you get around to being attended to by the Stewards. She has long brown hair tied up in pigtails and motions you over when you approach.
"You approach the line of Stewards. It takes a while, but one of the cloaked officials is finally free. You approach for inspection."

Click. Clack. Click. Clack.
The boy's walking cane clattered against the paved streets as he crested the ridge. He wore a dapper hat and a pale scarf tucked into his cloak. The cyan and dark blue colours were hardly unnoticable, particularly when the mechanical-inspired embroidary captured the light in just the right way.
He wasn't looking where he was going, of course. Fitzgerald raised a gloved hand from inside his pocket, looking down at the collection of documents he'd been holding onto. A letter with a broken seal - marked with the Seal of House Healing Hands - a selection of personal identification, and a faded sepia photograph of a young girl looking very reagel. It was recently after Kaela had moved in with her Uncle. She would be alot older now, of course. Fizzy hoped he'd recognise her....
He tucked the documents into his chest pocket and pushed the rim of his hat up, perusing the scene as he walked.
Snippets of conversations drifted in on the breeze:
"I hope we get the same dorm room!!
"I really hope I don't end up rooming with my twin brother... he's applying too..." A gaggle of girls gossiped away.
"The Ten of Clubs, huh? Welcome to initiation. Drop and give me 20 pushups, let's see if you've got that famous Club stamina!" A high standing Club pulled suit cheerfully.
"Did you know there's a place to go clubbing just outside the Prime District? Only senior students can get in, but I hear every initiation a few In Training Students manage to..."
He paused off to one side, raising on his tiptoes momentarily to see if he could catch a glimpse of anyone he knew. There were a few people he'd grown up with in the Capital that were attending the Spire this year. As it was, he didn't want to go through to the District if his old pal Acron or Kaela were nearby. Fizzy had really hoped to get a moment alone with her to help her settle in... He grimaced.
He'd never told Acron about his little crush. Ahem, pen pal. He'd suspected, of course - the man was luckier then a leprecaun and had a way of "stumbling" onto things - but Fizzy himself had never even met her in person. Part of him hoped he'd find one or the other. He didn't want to traumatise Kaela on her first day of school with Acron's flirting...
...but knowing him it was probably inevitable.

"Well gentlemen, it has been an absolute pleasure. We will have to do this again, maybe next time luck will prove to be further in my favor." Acron couldn't suppress the grin that leapt to his lips as he felt the sack filled with coins placed into his hand. He hadn't won a lot, but it was his first time coming to this establishment and he was more than pleased with the results. Without a second thought he slipped the new coins into his own pouch, tossing the sack off to the side. For a moment he considered staying and playing another game or two, but he knew that today was his first day at the Spire and he didn't want to leave a bad impression by being late. That would have to wait until at least the second day.
With a backwards wave Acron made his way out of the building, though he knew it would be far from the last time that he visited. The smile that had been on his face grew further as he stepped out into the bright day, just taking a second to let the energy of the city crash through him. Then out of nowhere he began to stretch, bending from side to side as well as lifting his arms high above his head. This caused more than a couple of citizens to stop and stare, being caught off guard by the random action, though not nearly as much as what he did next.
Without warning he bolted across the street and leapt as high as he could while letting out a gleeful exclamation. Once he reached his peak, he grabbed a hold of the edge of the open window he had been aiming for. He didn't enter it however, instead he quickly began to scale the building until he reached the rooftop. After he pulled himself off he turned towards the crowd that had gathered, waving down at them with his large grin.
"Hello my adoring fans! I am sorry that I have to leave so soon, but don't worry you will see plenty of me from now on. The name is Acron, don't forget it!" With his impromptu speech completed he gave one final wave before taking off across the roof and leaping to the next one upon reaching the end of the first.
With momentum created, and no further reason to stop occasionally, Acron made his way through the city heading towards the Prime District. Since he decided against taking the roads as most did he was making great time. Jumping from roof to roof he couldn't hide his excitement, he was in his element for the time being. Moving without thought or worry, just feeling the air rushing by his face.
Like all good things this time too had to end. He didn't leave the roof of the building he was on however, instead he sat on the edge and overlooked the crowd. He was too far too hear any of the conversations going on, but he could hear the general sound. So many people in one area meant more new people to meet, to fight and to enjoy other activities with. For now though he stayed where he was, just taking it all in.

She stood around the entrance to the Prime District. Completely nervous, feeling like she was going to throw up. Kaela bit her lip as she looked around herself. Blurred passing faces and random chatter, she found herself starting to get a little overwhelmed. She got stared at by a fair few people. She wanted to shrink away into a corner somewhere.
She looked down at a photo that was in her hands trying to remember every detail. It was a young boy happily holding up a creation of his. Fitzgerald, or, well, Fizzy as he said he preferred to be called in his letters. She knew he was going to be here...Somewhere, and she had to find him. He was the only person she knew and was terribly hopeless at attempting to meet new people. She had never met Fizzy in person though, there were only pen pals, but had been for years and years. As her only friend, she needed to find him. She just hoped he looked similar to the photo.
She felt a wiggling in a pouch she had on her hip. As she opened it her new little friend, Lemmy, poked out his head. She had recently just purchased him at the Menagerie. Lemmy was her new little companion, a Sugar Glider. Kaela fell in love with the little fur ball as soon as she laid eyes on him. She scooped him out of his sleeping pouch and gently placed him on her shoulder where he stayed. Though he did also like to wander around Kaelas torso and her head as they can be quite lively little creatures. Having Lemmy out made her feel a little less nervous as at least she wasn't alone.
She kept looking around herself and tip toeing, she was short and people were tall around her so trying to find people in a big crowd like this was hard for her. She sighed and looked at Lemmy "I dunno if we're going to find him Lem... I'm so nervous... And I have no idea where I'm going or what I'm doing..." She mainly whispered the last part though. She sighed heavily as she walked while looking around. 'Please, please, please be here somewhere...' She thought as she continued to look at the photo and other people to see it could be a match.

Prime District Entrance : Idly looking for familiar faces : Somewhat Crowded and Uncomfortable
Jarvan rolled his shoulders to mask his discomfort, really there were far too many people here. Plus he hadn't seen many people he was familiar with yet. Well there was no help for it, it wasn't like he could ask them to leave, nor would they. Luckily he'd only had to do about 80 pushups so far, which he'd heard was better than average for a three of clubs. Of course the day wasn't over yet but Jarvan was optimistic by nature. There seemed to be several people working on processing students. The most interesting of which was a cackling old man who seemed as though he may've had a bit too much to drink before coming here. Smiling to himself at the man's antics Jarvan headed over, people tended to move out of the way when you looked like you would crush them by walking in their general direction until they figured out they could pull rank on him. As the old man eccentrically stamped people he came to Jarvan, who said cheerily, "You seem rather excited for today, need any help before you stamp me and I move along? Though actually I'm not entirely sure what I do next, mind filling me in?" Jarvan actually doubted the old guy wanted any help but it never hurt to ask, plus old folks seemed to like that for some reason. He would've offered to shake his hand, but well, Jarvan didn't want to break him.

"Ah!"
Elemette softly said as she fell backwards. The crowd was a busy one. There were groups of all sizes everywhere, but still, a large section of meandering folk had managed to accidentally induct Elemette into the Falling-On-Their-Ass-On-First-Day club. Nobody from the group, despite knowingly knocking her down, visibly dignified the accident. After all, they all had their own things to do and did not seek such personal responsibility for an action of a random group. Elemette understood this, and being her meek self, decided to not raise attention to herself.
Elemette remembered her bag. She had been holding it in her hand, but only loosely. She looked towards it, and the contents of her bag had been strewn around like some sort of mess that is created when a bag falls down. She quickly collected her papers, shoving them haphazardly into her bag. She had a certain disdain for her own family; despite being a Hearts, she did not want to be identified as part of her family.
"Ah!"
She quietly yelped out again. She quickly pulled her hand out of the bag. The side of her pinky had been lightly cut. Not deep in the slightest, but still enough to draw a small amount of blood. It had appeared that in the fall, one of the glass vials had been crushed by something else in the bag. She sucked on her pinky, an instinctive gesture that washed the blood away. She carefully maneuvered the glass into a small pouch meant to be attached to her leg or another covered body part. While someone else may just toss the glass into the side of a street and be done with it, Elemette didn't want another person to cut themselves on the glass. As such, she left it in a pouch inside of her bag so she could deal with it in a safe manner.
She continued to suck on the side of her pinky as she continued forwards, her bag in disarray. Towards one end of the street, people formed into lines. Elemette, being the astute observer that she is, assumed that she was supposed to get into one of the lines. Probably. She wasn't so sure, but she did manage to have the courage to do at least that much. She quickly began to jaunt over to the line without so much as a bit of caution. Though, that was due to blind faith and nervousness, not some sort of confidence in her action.

The Prime District Entrance || Wandering around with his head in the clouds || Excited and Curious
Zephyr had just left the Alchemist feeling happy and slightly confused. She was a nice enough woman, but she was also very strange. He only bought one potion but she decided to give him something extra for seemingly no reason, he supposed she must have liked him. She had presented him with a table of trinkets, which she assured him would all be allowed in The Spire, and let him ask 3 questions about what they did. The syringe Zephyr had chosen would give him knowledge, though he wasn't exactly sure in what way, it wouldn't kill him, and it wouldn't change who he was if he used it. Now that he was out of the shop he couldn't help but think about what exactly the syringe would do if he used it, and when would be an appropriate time to use it. Maybe once he was settled in his dorm he would try one dose, just to see the effects.
Without really realizing it Zephyr was headed with the crowds, towards the stewards who would check them and direct them to wherever they needed to go. Zephyr wasn't too interested in that though, he was much more interested in his new toys. Stopping for a second he took out the spyglass he had bought just to look around the sky, see if he saw anything interesting. He saw a boy about his age standing on one of the rooftops, looking down on everyone, but other than that there wasn't much. He put that away and continued walking, rummaging through his bag to take inventory on everything he had. The most interesting thing by far was the blue potion he had bought from the alchemist, he couldn't wait to experiment and see what properties it had. That would have to wait though as he had accidentally bumped in to someone, making him lose his balance and fall to the ground, his belongings scattering across the ground.
"Oh no oh no oh no," Zephyr made quick work to try and gather up his things, he would apologize and check on the other person (he was pretty sure it was a girl but he didn't see) in just a moment. Right now though he didn't want to lose his experimenting gear, especially his blue potion.

Prime District|| Interacting With The Stewardess ||
The sounds of water swaying over the horizon joined the march of the new day, city life had thoroughly implanted itself in every crevice that Balith could inspect as he marched up the steep, chalk roads and white marble pavements that embroidered the pathways of the Prime District. The city, as it were was a classic case of organized chaos, people rarely used the crossings and without regard wandered over roads. Queues formed at unlikely areas and crowds lingered with no care for diffusion of space. Yet, things function at they were meant to. Everyone did their job, even the jobless that occasionally wandered like stray cats in muddy prints fit their role. Making sure to move out of the way of the respective suits, with nothing left. They still had that direction.
"He must be going to the work house" He proposed to himself, Balith face frowned although if it was concern, fear or anger. Even he couldn't tell.
The Ticketeer stuck out in the crowd with his felt green uniform, being blank from top to bottom and tight at the wrist and shin. Leaving a small gap for his mud brown cotton socks and, standard, oaken shaded shoes. A duck mouthed hat of matching manner sat on his head. Misplaced colors indicating torn off badges and symbols that used to be there. This all while standing admits a murder of students whom had spread over the place like pigeons scouring for scraps, every care taken to slide around them like oil passing through the guts of clock work as he spotted the Steward awaiting his arrival.
"Hello...he-" he was cut off, looking down at a one of the younger girls whom tugged his arm.
"Excuse me, Officer. I'm worried. Am I in the right place, I just went here because everyone else did" She was timid, but at her question several other students looked at him. A couple realizing they have done the same.
"It's fine" Balith replied. His eyes folding up into a curved smile. Cuddled by the olive cheeks as they lifted up at her. "Someone will be here soon enough. Every one does their suits job here and if you do the same. You won't be lost."he said with a nod before being released from her tug as he walked towards his steward.
"Are you the one in charge of processing?"

Prime District Entrance || Worrying about his hair || Composed
The salty breeze hit Jagred like a tidal wave. He grimaced, adjusting his collar as his steps quickened. The third son of house Fire Eyes had never enjoyed the sea much, since the breeze did funny things with his hair and hurt his eyes. Fortunately, the Dock district here was relatively smaller compare to the one back home, so it was no time at all when he finally arrived at the Prime District. It was not that hard to find at all, given the large number of people heading toward it. He looked around briefly, hoping to catch sights of a few familiar faces. Fitz was going to the Spire, or at least that what he said in their last get-together. Acron might be nearby as well, but since he did not spot any idiot bothering the ladies, Jagred supposed he was not. Figuring he would look for them later after the initiation, Jagred went on ahead.
Even for an individual as patient as Jagred, the line was still awfully long. He let his gaze wandered, taking in all and every faces around him. It was unusual for people from all Suits to gather in one place like this, yet, he could still see the influence of the Suits system all around. Some people did not exist outside of their Suit, it seemed. He averted his eyes, a flash of rage behind them.
At las, before too long, he stepped in front of a Steward. She seemed awfully young, but Jagred still did what was asked of him. He put his meagre belongings forward, a warm smile stretching his lips. “Good morning.”- While she was going through his possessions, Jagred figured some conversations would do no harm –“Name’s Jagred. You’ve had a busy morning?”
"Hi!" she said happily, her hands suddenly on his bag at an alarming rate of efficiency. "Oh yes," she gushed, looking up at him between working, "I LOVE meeting all the new students coming through. I bet you must be excited to be here, huh?" she said, wiggling her eyebrows.
Despite her speed, she didn't really seem that thorough in her job...
“Oh trust me, I am”-Jagred grinned, watching the Steward as she worked. Too bad he didn’t try to smuggle anything by her, since there were high chances he would have been successful. His thought went briefly to the enchanted jade dagger his mother gave him –“So, any tips for a newcomer? You look like you could give a few.”
She grinned at him then, taking his hand for a moment and waving her's above it, a strange new symbol glowing on his skin.
"Well," she said, smiling from ear to ear, "I can definitely give you something."
She slips a strange pink capsule into your hand, the size of a small bean. Gain UNKNOWN: Ingestible pink capsule.
She hands you back your documents and items, as well as a little slip, and points you in the direction of the dorms should you choose to go.

Jagred was slightly taken aback when the tiny capsule dropped into his hand, but he quickly composed himself. With a grin and words of gratitude to the Steward, he headed off before people behind him in the line could get impatient.
Afterward, he didn’t go for his dorm right away, but waited around the entrance to see if he could catch sights of his friends.

"I'm easily the oldest here..." Maxwell mumbled to himself, overlooking the crowd of would-be students and classmates that swarmed the entrance. It seemed that today was just as chaotic as ever. He was wearing a navy blue suit, something his family chose to 'represent The Peacekeepers.' He hated it, it was too much for initiation day.
"Is there something I can get for you?" Maxwell turned his head to the waiter, a boy in his teens wearing an improperly sized uniform. "Yeah. But — quick question. Did Charlotte quit yet?" The boy paused a moment... "I don't think so, she's—"
"Tell her Maxy would like his regular. Trust." The boy, clearly suppressing a smile... and failing, nodded and walked into the cafe. Maxwell rested his head in his right hand, elbow on the table. "I can't believe I called myself that. Whatever, my order will be faster because of it," He mumbled to himself, returning to watch the crowd. His eyes scanned around in no real pattern, gliding across a few crowds of people; one seemingly commanding a few lower on the social ladder to complete some silly tasks, another walking away from a girl in a black dress who was on the ground.
"You would think that someone would go help her. So... Maxy was it?" A lighthearted female voice chuckles a bit before setting down a medium coffee, black, and a croissant. "I figured it get your attention, Char," Maxwell said looking up, a smile coming to his face. "I could just use a bit of a pick-me-up."
"Oh, stop it," Char said with a wave, "You just want this to be free." She begins to walk away. "So is—" "Yeah. Have fun, Maxy." Maxwell sighed and took a small bite of his croissant, the regret for using that pet name already setting in.

Prime District Entrance || Just seen Kaela|| Jubilent
Fizzy started making his way over to the stewards. He wasn't sure what it was that made him look behind him - a gust of wind, perhaps, or a slither of a particularly interesting conversation. Either way, he glanced, and was greeted by the sight of a young brown haired woman in silken robes.
He fished out the picture and held it up at arm's length, squinting an eye, looking back and forward between the two. Her hair was longer now, but it seemed her style of clothing was as beautiful as ever.
He raised a hand. "Kaela!" he called above the crowds, waving his walking cane about in the air. Walking cane, of course, not walking stick - it's job was only to be dapper, as Fizzy had no injury. He was pleased to have his walking cane with him while meeting a lady, and he briskly strode over to her against the grain of students.
"Kaela!" he said, jubilent, reaching out in a hug.
Which was odd, considering Fitzgerald had never had the urge to hug anyone in his life.
Also, she was a Heart. This was wildly inappropriate.
His arms froze as if holding an invisible box around her.
oh god, he thought, standing there. What do I do? What have I done? This girl might not know me. For one, it might not be Kaela- although he was pretty confident, and besides, what if she's completely different from her letters? What if she doesn't get along with me?
The next few seconds were long ones. Awkward ones. The kind of seconds that burn into your memory for all time, and no matter how hard you try to forget them, when you're 120 you will still be looking back embaressed on this one moment no-one but you is left alive to remember.
It was, for Fizzy the Spade Pretender, exceptionally awkward.
He coughed, eventually snapping himself out of it. "How do you do, milady?" Fizzy gave a low sweeping bow, reaching out to kiss the back of her hand.
"Might I say that's a mighty fine... bush baby? You have there. I imagined they were bigger, though..."

It could be but I can only see him from behind... he said he wore rather dapper clothing... Oh but I cant just go up to him! If it isn't him, it would be embarrassing! Oh hes turning around! Hes coming over! It has to be Fizzy!' Her face seemed to gleam as he got closer to her.
She hadn't met him in person before and was beyond nervous but excited at the same time to finally meet her pen pal! She saw he was going in for a hug and she started to open her arms til he froze in place, causing her to freeze. Did he think she was someone else? He had said her name twice as he was coming over...
As he suddenly bowed and kissed the back of her hand she blushed. "Please, Kaela is fine, Fizzy." She said still with a slight blush on her cheeks still. "You also don't have to bow to me, I'm just Kaela!" She smiled as she wrapped her arms around his neck and gave him a hug. It was acceptable to her, she had just met her childhood friend for the first time.
She giggled as he commented on Lemmy. "Lemmy's a little small at the moment because hes only two months old, but they generally don't get much bigger than seven inches, not including the tail though, the tail generally gets as long as the body. Isn't he a cutie?!" She giggled as she gave Lemmy a little snuggle. She held him up to Fizzy so he could take a closer look. Fizzy would quickly realise that Kaela is just as sweet, bubbly and awkward as she was in her letters to him.

Prime District Entrance || Mastering the art of falling down. || Embarrassed
"Ah!"
The common phrase resounded once more. It would appear that the only phrase that she had been saying would be "Ah," as if it was some sort of catchphrase for her. Some man had collided with her. Once more, she fell onto her behind. It would appear that she was now a senior member of the Falling-On-Their-Ass-On-First-Day club, managing to fall twice in a matter of minutes. While Elemette was fine, her stuff was, once more, strewn around the place. However, this time, her stuff was kept rather safely in her bag, except for her papers.
Quite embarrassing, to fall so much in one day. Even then, it was by some odd coincidence and strange improbability that her papers would fall out so much. Quickly, she snatched up her own papers and carefully placed them at the bottom of her bag. Luckily, her caution was well warranted. Another vial had broken. She carefully plucked the glass out and placed it all inside of the same pouch. The pouch was nearly overflowing; anything more and it would most likely rip or bust open from all of the glass inside. She quickly reorganized her bag. Keeping the glass at the bottom would be a mistake that she would not want to make.
After this tunnel-visioned cleaning, she quickly noticed the other person on the ground with her. Elemette had remembered that he had said something, but what that was, she didn't really pay attention. All that she knew was that she and anotehr person had fallen.
"Sorry! I'm sorry, that was my bad!" She said sheepishly, bowing her head to the man. "I didn't mean to... Er... bump into you!" While it had been apparent to onlookers that Elemette was standing there, she near-instinctively took all of the blame for the series of events.

Prime District Entrance : Helping an old man : Confused but feeling better
Son of a joker that man was strong! Though Jarvan managed to justify himself by saying that he was surprised, it was honestly probably the only reason he'd been able to match his strength at all. Well, that taught him to judge someone by their appearance. Perhaps a valuable thing to keep in mind. He looked at the mark on the back of his hand curiously, it was rather interesting, he hadn't known about it before. "Of course I'll help out. Though I'm not sure exactly what the heavy work entails." Jarvan said cheerily. "Maybe after I'm done helping we can both grab a bite to eat at the cafe over there. Though if you're still busy I can pick you up something instead." He didn't mind paying for it. He happened to have sold a couple weapons right before his trip to the spire so he was actually feeling a bit wealthy, even after purchasing some armor for himself. Jarvan replaced the bag on his back and couldn't resist the urge to crack his knuckles by pushing his fists into each other with a friendly smile. "What do you need first?"

Prime District Entrance || Zephyr, Elemette, the Ground || Excited, Startled
"Oh, this is so exciting! There are so many people here, so many stories yet to be told!
Walking into the Prime District from the Docks, Cady is looking all around her, trying to absorb all of the new sights and sounds at once, her head looking like it might soon separate from her neck and take flight at the rate she is going. This is understandably making it a little difficult to see where she is going. As Cady is walking, following the general flow of the crowd towards the Stewards, people start moving around a spot where two people fell. Not noticing this, she walks over, trips on something that had yet to be picked up, and falls on the both of them, her suitcase landing where it was dropped with a rather hefty thump. "Ouch... Oh, hi Zephyr! This isn't how I thought I'd see you again... Who's your friend?" She says with a smile, noticing after a moment who it was that she had tripped over. Then, turning to the other girl, Cady smiles and says, "Hi, I don't think that I've met you, I'm Arcadia. Whats your name?"

Prime District Entrance || Trying to get this whole "initiation" business over with. || Annoyance
Crowds of Clubs and Diamonds cluttered the streets like confetti after a parade, chatting on about their plans for schooling at the Spire, or possibly a story they had told countless times before at bars, in an attempt to form new kinships to last them a lifetime. Hearts and Spades strolled through the streets, citizens politely making way for their royal and noble classes. At least, some were made way for. Others were being knocked on their asses as people bumped into them. And on the first day as well. What an embarrassment. The whole scene was one that reeked of a general chaos.
And not the kind that Alexander liked.
Keeping to the edge of the crowd where it was clearest, Alexander sighed. He came to the Spire to strengthen his magic, not to get caught up in a organizational nightmare. Scanning past the turmoil, he saw a line-up of a couple of people who looked like they knew what they were doing, most with a small queue leading up to then. All except for one, an older man who appeared to have the fragility of soggy research notes, standing next to a giant door of a man, probably a club. Or the fragility of his parent's marriage, if you wanted to go there. No wonder not many people were lining up to interact with the old veteran. But if it meant he could get through the whole experience faster, Alexander would go for it.
Prepared to push through the crowd, he was glad to find that a hand gestures, expectant looks, and an "excuse me" or two cleared a decent path to the steward. It seemed most here already understood Alexander's importance. And the few who didn't would learn soon enough, or regret it. But that was problem for another time. For now he just had to get through this elderly man's initiation, whatever that may mean. Once standing in front of the man, Alexander took a deep bow, hands outstretched elegantly. Signs of respect were important, even to those who may be below him.
"Salutations, good sir. I am Alexander of the Diamond Looking Glasses, and 2nd of Spades. You appear to be someone who I can talk to about my initial processing as a student of the Spire. Please, enlighten me to what I must do so I can quickly get to my learning and educational betterment as soon a possible." Hopefully this would be through with quickly.

Prime District Entrance : Helping an old man : Focused
Jarvan nodded. He had to get to the cafe and back before the old man registered too many people, which meant he had to be fast. He should've expected any request for help was actually a challenge. Hm how best to go about this? His thoughts were interrupted by another student stepping up to be checked. "The old man's forcing me to do his work for him, so I'll be checking your bag." Jarvan said confidently, with a cheeky smile to Augustus to let him know it was a jest. Despite the fact that he was easily outranked and trusting that the other guy would go along with it Jarvan grabbed the bag and riffled through its contents quickly. He showed them to the old man who simply looked to see if they were illegal as he went along. Jarvan'd just about finished when the man saw Alexander's ring.
"What a terribly interesting magical item. Based off a form of Diamond magic no doubt. Yes, I think a lot of Initiate Students carry around items like this." Augustus wiggles his eyebrows at Alexander. "I'm sure you'll find it exceptionally useful."
Jarvan finished checking and handed the bag back to Alexander. The old man suddenly stepped close to Alexander. He takes the young man's hand in his and the mark appears on the back of his hand. As he pulls his old withered fingers away, he slips a piece of strangely coloured liquorice into the younger man's grasp.
"Careful with that trinket. There are lots of lovely guards here who're absolutely no fun!"
Jarvan meanwhile, while the old man finished talking to Alexander, swiftly made his way through the crowd to the cafe he'd seen earlier. Said swift movement was aided by the fact he was holding his hammer in one hand and was glowering. It was a petty trick, but it worked very effectively. He passed a crowd of people that seemed to be falling over each other, making note to avoid the spot in case it was bad luck. He entered the cafe. Luckily there was hardly much of a line, as most were more worried about getting through initiation or watching it happen. Jarvan simply snagged a passing waiter and whispered his request, handing the boy a coin to ensure it was done expeditiously. It no time at all a bag arrived along with a cup of a nice hot drink.
Jarvan thanked the man, forked over the remaining coins and made his way back to the old man. Holding a meal(biscuit in a bag) was much less intimidating then holding a hammer, but it also gave him a sense of urgency which people seemed to sense. That or they could feel the displacement of air as Jarvan moved hurriedly forward, either way worked. In a surprisingly short amount of time he'd arrived back at Augustus's location. Hopefully not to many people had gotten processed while he'd be gone or else he might be disqualified from his reward. Though he wasn't terribly worried about it honestly, if nothing else it had been more exciting than being stamped and moving along on his merry way.

Prime District Entrance || Elemette, Cady || Startled, Happy
"What are you saying sorry for, I was the one who bumped in to you," Zephyr had gathered most of his things so he felt more comfortable to speak to the girl. "I should have been paying more attention, I'm really sorry. Did anything of yours break? I'd be happy to replace it," Zephyr gave the girl a kind smile and saw the only thing of his left was one of his alcohols, which he would grab in a minute, it was a bit out of his reach. "I'm Zephyr by the way, what's your name?"
He was about to get up and help up the poor girl he ran down, but before he could do that he heard someone else trip. He looked over and saw his alcohol rolling away as he was landed upon by someone new. "Damnit," Zephyr wasn't going to bother going after his final bottle, if he really wanted more he could just buy it. He faced the new person who it turned out was one of his friends, "Oh, hi Cady, nice to see you too...uh, I was about to find out the lovely lady's name but then you ran in to us." He got up and dusted himself off before offering a hand to each of the girls to help them up. "Well, now that we've all been acquainted and have thoroughly caused a scene, shall we go get ourselves signed in?"
