@dabombjk Right so, I just woke up and I'm sleepy xD So if my post comes across badly it's because of that :3 For the record you've got a good start here, looking forward to seeing how things develop :D As Inertia and Melo have said - definitely have a quick peek at the CS's. there's also some information on the clans in that section. and the first post is useful as well, but you've probably read it by this point :3
And yes - reading/writing is it's own skillslot, so if you can do that, it needs to be accounted for.
As Filthy Mudblood said, this roleplay is set in the tribal era, so no modern clothing just yet.
When he uses is abilities his mark grows a slight purple shade, and begans unfolding itself slowly as he uses more of his power, and as he uses it longer
This sentance in your appearance section seems unfinished? What happens after the mark unfolds? What about when he dies, how does that happen?
He would never commit or advise murder for example,
...he would make it his mission to teach them the error of their ways. Even resorting....to murder.
a few conflicts in your personality section :D nothing too big, just a few tweaks. Otherwise I'm happy with this section.
Remove the memories in memories retained, but you can of course write about them in your biography section. If he's married and has a daughter, then that definitely needs to be in there.
Honestly I do prefer Gods to be created, however, we do have a couple Gods from our mythologies mixed in somehow.
So I will say this:
If you do decide to play a God inspired by a mythology, remember both the world is completely different, along with our pantheon. For these reasons, if later down the line, a situation arises which is befitting of the OC Gods rather then whichever greek/egyptian/roman/ect. pantheon you are from, that will take priority. So there may be some conflicts with how you imagine the world and how it plays out IC, because I'm not that interested in maintaining the stories of pantheons that don't fit into the story. Your character, of course, will have equal importance to other OCS and their stories will play out, but if someone comes in and plays a God of the same Concept as something from your mythology, they replace it. Simple as.
@DuskSong@Write I'll tag you two here in case I haven't explained this in detail before.
Right, now onto your specific god:
Replace straight with Heterosexual.
+ There's no Olympus here, and no Zeus. You
can have a pocket dimension
like Olympus, as all Gods have their own Homes in the Immortal Realm, but you'll have to adjust it's story as there is no Olympia on earth or greek civilisation.
There will
not be a King of All Gods as this conflicts with other Player freedom when deciding their Gods and also the plot. Having a King of Gods denotes there's some sort of order or wisdom to the Immortal Realm and it couldn't be further from the truth. Moreover it suggests one God has power over all the others and that also doesn't fit into the storyline I have planned.
You
can have a Zeus figure to rule over Olympus, though, and he can be named Zeus if you like. But his power shall remained tied to your character's Home realm, aka that pocket dimension, and he will not be able to dictate anything to the other Gods.
I know this sounds conflictory, but I think I needed to word it that way to properly get what I was trying to say across. Sorry if it's confusing :D
hmm. Ok next point. Your Starkissed is a God, so your daughter would be immortal anyway? Though I suppose in a some cases she could be born mortal if she was born in the mortal plane. I can't imagine two Gods having an offspring in the Immortal Realm leading to a mortal child, though. Due to the nature of the immortal realm, but there's no way for you to have known that :D Just read your bloodline thing now - so I think that's what your saying?
Sorry can you just go over how this all happens? Are you saying you found your Starkissed while she was mortal?
Next thing, your Starkissed will be someone IC. Your biography pretty much forces them to get married and already have a daughter with you in Olympus, which might conflict with their plans. Now I'm ok with this so long as you can get them to agree - the problem being you don't know who your Starkissed will be and I don't want to give it away. So you'll have to either get their consent, which might mean asking every female god or waiting till you know your Starkissed and asking - and if you roll a Starkissed who doesn't consent then you'll have to change it later. Again this isn't a problem, just letting you know how the roleplay functions ;D
Worst comes to worst, you could always just had a relationship with another God who wasn't your Starkissed.
So next :D
Naming your skills! Even if it's just Cooking: Good Memory: ect
I notice your missing 6 of your 9 abilities?
