Gregori is an imposing man. He is a talented orator and had turned the populace of the system to his side long before his coup. He is sly, cunning, selfish, ambitious and power hungry. A power magnate with grandiose visions of his own Imperium, a dream his fore bearers had for a long time before him. He is the ultimate fruition of his families ambitions. He is arrogant, self centered and proud but can easily feign the love needed for his people and generate the love and devotion he requires too keep his worlds loyal.

Gregori's tale begins with his families. Hius many greats grandfather was granted a Holy Trade warrant centuries ago by the Imperium of man. Using this warrnt, for generations they plied the stars until they came upons the sector of Kallesius. Helping to bring it into the Emperors light and were gifted noble titles and holdings... but they had wanted more. Almost single handedly had the traders conquered these worlds, they deserved to rule them all! Over the following centuries the family worked to this girl, re-directing supplies to their own holding, garnering support and favors from the myriad lords and governours of the sector, but much of that fell apart with the death of the Imperium. connections could no longer be contacted, the family was split, supplies and weapons caches were lost and the dreams of a domain beneath the family Amastov were dashed irrevocably... until Gregori. On his deathbed his father revealed the locations of every single cache ever stored by the family, the names of planets and contacts. Armed with this knowledge, Gregori, a planetary governour for an Imperium that no longer existed, uncovered those in his system. With weapons, food and many other stores, he planned to make his move.
The current system governour was a weak man, and was utterly convinced the Imperium still lived, and even continued sending tithes to holy Terra, though now he had no idea he would be sending ships to their destruction. Gregori appeared then, for the governour had lost much of his fleet long ago, and Governour Gregori had ships to spare. Bolstering and taking charge of the fleet, Gregori swiftly turned the Governours fleet to his side with false promises, a claim to divinity and a few fine speeches. This done, he had the 'tithe fleets' deposit the material, be it food or weapons or otherwise, in secure locations known only to him, his stockpiles growing exponentially as he bided his time. The systems worlds began to suffer soon after. Without valuable and needed imports from the wider Imperium and the governour forcing so many of the worlds own resources out hardship over took them. Famine and widespread suffering led to outrage, the people crying angrily at a Lord who they thought insane! The Emperor was dead and they were alone! Through all of it, Gregori watched, and waited.
Just when the people were at the tipping point, when revolution was a whisper ont heir lips, Gregori appeared. Leading a strikeforce of his personal guard, armed with storm trooper Carapace and Tempestus hell-guns they assaulted the Governours palace and slew the 'madman' and his greatest supporters. As Gregori addressed the people, he proclaimed the Imperium not dead, but re-born under him! The Emperor's divinely chosen successor! With this declaration came salvation. His vast stores supplied to the rejoicing worlds and cementing his image in the eyes of the people. He then promised them more, a great utopia! Am Imperium free of the old oppression! One where all were wealthy and prosperous! He told them of the hard work it would take, the dedication and constant vigilance, and the people listened and cheered.
Of course, much of it was an empty promise that was impossible to uphold, but it was for the short term. In the end, his Imperium would be large enough it wouldn't matter what he had promised now. As the leader of the new Imperium he would never need to uphold it.

<Palace Protectorate>
<The Palace Protectorate are Amastov's personal guards and the force largely responsible for his succesful Coup d'etat of the system. Well trained and well armed, the Protectorate's are some of the best human warriors of Gregori's Imperium, being descended from the Tempestus Scions oif the old Imperium and trained for generations to serve the Amastov family almost from birth. They will sell their lives dear for their master. Such an elite force however can only be so large, about 200 Palace Protectorate's are trained and ready, their children still in training to eventually replace them or add to their number.>

<As the sole ruler of the New Imperium, Greegori can call upon the PDf of any world as a fighting force for expansion, defence, or anything else. Each PDf is trained somewhat differently, but generally speaking all are a bit less well off than the Imperial Guard of old, but are an effective force nonetheless, and are a force the Imperium will need quite often in its early years.>
