@Rune_Alchemist Oh for the loverall of God... as if Lusius did have it rough enough already... Now he's got the Spanish Inquisition on him as well!

To be fair though. She shouldn't be able to see anything wrong with him as his devil hides perfectly in him. The worst she'd see is hoe nervous and uneasy he is... like a lot.

Also! And this is for the players to know and your characters to figure out but he wears a silver brace that is locked onto him like a chain. A symbol of his servitude to the call of the Hunters and a mark of shame for what he is.

Hmm, well, she doesn't know anything, of course. But - she has been doing this since she was like, fifteen. And I do think from what Ellion said earlier is that hunters are typically sensitive to things like that. She knows what nervousness looks like, and typically if one is nervous, then one is hiding something. She's killed witches and things like that before that were behaving in similar manners.

That said, I'll take that bit out for now.

Can Hunters use magic? Or is this kind of a Bloodborne-type deal, where you just use tools?

The latter. Some are allowed a certain extent of demonic power however we have a bunch already... so if you've got any regular dudes running around in your head they are very welcome...

Any ideas for extra abilities outside of tools must be approved by either Ellion, The Doctor, or me. Same thing for "magical" or otherwise special tools.

@WeepingLiberty I was thinking something along the lines of the very latter-a weapon that itself was unnatural, even if the character himself is "ordinary." If it doesn't end up passing, I can always just make a male witch, I suppose.

In fact I'm literaly saying, "Hey here's what he's go on his plate and there are a few secrets she can see if she looks in teh right plaes! *Hint hint, nudge nudge.*" Leave it in please! I'm more than anything trying to put you on teh right path to finding out his dark secret.

By the way, the silver brace is depicte with scenes of fire and a devil casting them out, as a permanent reminder of what a beast he is. May offer her some more clues!

@WeepingLiberty On that note I think I'm gonna make some more guys! Probably not as uh... intense as Lusius, but I'd love to have a witch and perhaps two! Maybe a Hunter who believes in the Gods of Wind that his bow and arrow is a divine instrument that casts down the evil of the world. But really he's just a REALLY good shot.

Well... You dont need to be "unnatural" to be a monster/Beast.

Just look at Emmerich! Well... He cant be called a human... Att least not completely human... But he isnt a monster either...
Eh... Um also confused about him hahaha
