Nice effort, but it is safe to assume there are buffers in place to prevent a stack overflow error.

Now if you want to blow some mechanical minds, just get like any liquid ever and throw it at exposed circuitry. or play some heavy metal. It is a little-known fact that most mechanical automatons are such fans of metal (query: Perhaps it is because they themselves consist of various metals?), that playing a suitable track will distract them long enough for *INSERT ACTION HERE*. Suggestion: Die for Metal

OH, and for the record. Our Captain tends to make odd childish one-syllable nicknames for everyone of his crew.

So for the New guys:

@Blueflame K12 = Kit & Kek (Kit for blue, Kek for Red)

@Vortex Wilhelm = Butch (Cause he's the "Butch"er of Fleawalk)

From what I'm thinking of writing so far, he will end up like the last set of guards. Incapacitated within Traveler's own carapace. After a fight of course.

Guys, I don't wanna be a dick, but this started 2 months ago = some hours IC. That screams fail to me looking on all the posts. EVery single RP get's stuck on the little bumps in the start, focusing too hard on the detail and all the actions yada yada.

Our Jest already opened a pathway for the slime to sneak up on the captain. I mean seriously. If no one wraps this up soon, I'll make my character charge up the bridge, God-Mode tanking and dodging every hit, snag the captains eyeball after killing him in a single line, go back to the safe, open it, get the shit and go to my ship.

Well, I am finishing up on a post. The two others @The Jest mentioned with the captain have both been offline for at least two weeks (@Warborn123 and @Kessir Tarkin) and thier last posts were nearly a month ago. Unless someone remembers them saying something about an absence, I think it would be best to assume they are not coming back.

Since @Bishop and I assume others are getting impatient, I'll just make a simple and quick post by the end of the day. I have a few errands to do first but expect it within the next 12 to 16 hours. If not (due to unforeseen circumstances that would eat up my time) go ahead and make that post for the sake of hurrying the plot along. (unless someone else has issue)

As an aside, I'd like to again apologize for the massive delay.

Painful as it is to admit, I have to agree.

@Kessir Tarkin, @Warborn123, and @tal0n have until the next cycle of posts to make their post happen. Failure to post by the next time I post will result in the assumption that they stayed behind for some reason on the Merchant Ship, and blasted to destruction with it.

That goes for everyone else as well. Failure to post within two cycles will result in me booting you out. I can skip you for one cycle and give you a second chance in the next one, but to wait on others to post for any more than that is to grind the RP to a dead halt.

Of course the exception being if you ask for permission for a temporary leave of absence for one reason or another.

Got my post done. Grabbed the captain and the (currently) unknown item from the safe and back to the ship in one fell swoop. Normally, I would do more of a fight sequence, but due to the interest of moving this along I elected to solve this quickly so feel free to imagine your own kick-ass fight scene. (also, probably listening to 'fast' music might not have helped, but I am really liking

the captain is (relatively) safely held within Traveler's carapace (think of it like a cage) which would include his eye as it is still attached to his head which is still attached to his body. So he did bring it to the safe to open it.

I hope this is not the case, but have you all thought it was a mercenary ship?
(Merchant, as in not much of fighting prowess in them)

I would prefer he not do a "Calvin impersonation", there is going to be a docking and a return to the Typhoon, much better than jumping out between ships while a space-battle is ongoing. But do what you want and see what happens.

The biggest issue is the safe part (as he knows nothing of it and is in another part of the ship).
