Personality
Ben is a complete cheese-ball. He never felt the need to grow up and have a lot of friends, knowing the value that one, good friend was better than dozens of face-friends. He is perhaps the most loyal person to have ever been born in Manhattan, unable to even lie to his father. Though the times he has tried, he turns a lovely shade of red and fidgets more than normal, making him also have Manhattan's worst poker face.
He never even tried to be a class clown; his own clumsiness with pretty much everything he does makes him noticed (and even bullied from time to time) though those with a shred of decency tend to laugh with him (as he is more than capable of laughing at himself) rather than at him. Because of this, Ben has developed a rather thick skin for those who have less than kind things to say to him. He is a straight-up geek and he knows it, nor is he ashamed of it. Though come finals week, most everyone seems to want to be his friend. And Ben has a hard time saying no, not because he feels like he needs the friendship, but because he's never really learned how to stand up for himself.
Ben has no idea how to talk to women, much less be around them, and sometimes even develops a studder or spouts off nonsense that doesn't even make sense, making Ben have to correct his sentence a time or two before getting across what he was trying to say.

Ben loves collecting bugs and studying them. At home, there are dozens of boards posted on his walls with hundreds of different kinds of insects pinned to them - all behind glass cases. He examines the insects, both dead and alive, under different microscopes he has at home and at the school and has written dozens of thesis papers on the bugs he has collected and has won a few awards for his (small) findings.
Ben also loves to play video games and creates mods for some of the more popular PC games such as Grand Theft Auto V and Skyrim.

Brief Biography:
After Felicia Hardy became the Black Cat and returned to Peter Parker for "one more shot," Felicia became pregnant and disappeared for the whole of a year, without Peter's knowledge. But when she returned with a child in her arms and her cheeks stained with tears, she begged Peter to take their son, as she felt that she put him in too much danger. Peter was absolutely beside himself - she didn't even tell him what she had named him, but with the help of Mary-Jane, Peter was able to pull it together and take care of Benjamin - the only name that seemed right, wanting to name him after his Uncle Ben.
Peter and Mary-Jane eventually got married and raised Ben together as best as they could with Peter's little hobby of saving New York. Things were hard, though, as Mary-Jane also had to work, so Peter went to his friend, Tony Stark, with the knowledge that he and Pepper also had a young boy. It helped with the babysitting, but it also helped Ben to gain a forever friend.
Ben and Connor did literally everything together as boys, and as they grew into adults, are still rarely seen apart. For the longest time, however, Ben didn't believe that he inherited anything from either of his parents, as even at seventeen he wasn't showing any signs of super-human ability. It wasn't until just recently, however, that Ben started noticing some changes - mostly physical. He was faster, stronger, and more athletic. But when the webs started shooting which resulted in nearly leveling his father's house, Peter and Tony both believed it best to send their boys to the academy where Ben could really get a handle on his powers.
Having graduated high school early, Ben was overly-eager to give the academy a shot. Best thing was, his friend Connor would be right there with him.
Ben has spinnerets in his forearms that terminate in small pores at the junction of his wrists. By pressing down with his middle fingers to his palm, he causes the pores to open and the spinnerets to eject the organic fluid with a force greater than his father's web-shooters. His accuracy, however, needs a lot of work. The strength and effectiveness of the webs, however, seem to be related to Ben's personal health and nutrition. With a cold, the webs are much more weak and easy to break, but at full health, Ben has been able to wrap and completely cover Connor Stark's suit of armor (by accident).
He also has the ability to crawl on walls and stick to things or objects. Though he still needs a lot of practice as he is constantly falling off of the roof or not knowing how to get his soda can unstuck from his hand. He has found, though, that surfaces that are wet or slippery or are structurally unstable are much harder to stick to than normal surfaces.
Ben also has a spider sense very similar to his fathers. It results in a buzzing vibration in the back of his skull that warns Ben of impeding danger, however it does not identify what it is that could be potentially dangerous. It does, however, let Ben know in the general direction he needs to move in order to avoid it.
Similar to how Henry Pym's Ant-Man identity had him controlling and speaking to ants through his helmet, Ben has the power to communicate with spiders and control them. He has not discovered this ability yet.
Ben also has the sense of night vision which allows him to see better in the dark without any gear than the average human being.
Perhaps a combined gene from both of his parents, Ben's strength is enhanced, so far able to bench over six tons. He has also outrun a speeding car and his reflexes and agility rival even that of his fathers, making his clumsiness even worse, as he is extremely sensitive to it. He even has a minor healing factor about him and has been able to have scrapes and burns healed within just a few hours. He doesn't want to find out how long it would take for a bullet to heal, or to regrow a limb.
Other:
Ben does not remember his short time with his mother, and has not seen her since.
