▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬

The exercise seemed simple. Like last time, it would be a matter of fighting off groups of enemies on multiple fronts in order to take and hold a single point within an urban terrain. Furthermore, now that she'd seen videos of most of these students showcasing their abilities, she knew how they fought, barring a few exceptions, meaning she wouldn't be taken be surprise. On the other hand, since all three of her teammates hadn't fought in the earlier exercise, it would be hard for everyone else to figure out what their plan was and what to expect. That gave them a natural advantage. Really, she had every right to feel ready and confident when it came to fighting this battle.

But that wasn't what Motome Fumika was thinking about.

The strategy that Chiwa had suggested, similarly, was a good one. Saving their own strength for when it would really count, monitoring the situation and figuring out enemy positioning and capabilities, and finally striking without warning when it would really make a difference. By sticking close together and making their move at the best possible moment, they could minimize risk to themselves individually while maximizing their chances of victory. It was a simple strategy, but sometimes, simple was best.

But that wasn't what Motome Fumika was thinking about.

The only problem with the strategy was that only three of them had agreed to it, since, as expected, the teammate she'd most anticipated working with hadn't shown up that day. Instead, a strange figure clad head to toe in heavy silver armor had arrived in his place, evidently to serve as a replacement. Naturally, she not only had no idea what he could do, or whether or not he would even stick with the plan. And, what was more, she still didn't know why today, of all days, Yoshida hadn't shown up.

That was exactly what Motome Fumika was thinking about!

Doubt! Anxiety! A hurricane of such dark emotions ravaged her mind, clouding her thoughts until she completely forgot to be worried about the upcoming match. No, in fact, she forgot about it entirely! In the face of the tremendous stress brought on by the absence of an expected person, even the most self-confident of people will at some point entertain a single question, no matter how unlikely it might be in the situation. What if it's my fault?! However, while others might have had the presence of mind and the strength of ego necessary to dismiss this possibility, for the timid girl known as Motome Fumika, this struggle between anxiety and confidence was like a steamroller pressing down on top of an ant! And the result was...

Complete and total defeat! She was mentally routed! Her mind was thrown into total chaos as she reviewed the events of the previous day over and over again! While an ordinary individual would have simply shrugged it off, Fumika's photographic memory allowed her to notice several tiny points where it seemed obvious to her that she'd said or done something wrong. Her mind fixated upon these details, and forced her to the conclusion that it was entirely her fault! She'd latched onto Yoshida immediately, followed him everywhere, caused problems for him during the exercise by refusing to give up, then gotten involved in a fight, forced him to intervene, and then completely refused to explain anything to him! She had generally been an annoying woman! Of course, it was no wonder that an ordinary boy would want to distance himself from such a person immediately. So... he must not have showed up because he knew I'd be on his team and I would just end up getting in his way...

Completely wrong! But by viewing everything solely as it concerned her, there was absolutely no way she could come to any other possible conclusion! Because of that, her thoughts gave way into a self-feeding death spiral of gloom. Just as a ship sinks more quickly as it fills with water, so too did her negativity in turn give rise to even more negative thoughts. Every time she found some new mistake she'd made, it only lent more force to her self-condemnation, which in turn drove her to find even more flaws and faults to add more fuel to the fire. Finally, she was faced with the unavoidable conclusion that all of this had happened because she'd been forcing herself into other people's business, and getting in their way. At this rate, all of her pent up anxiety would give rise to a full blown self-persecution complex, and her entire psyche would self-destruct! Of course, Fumika herself didn't know any of these things, but what she did know was that her heart hurt, and that she disliked it. Because of that, she settled upon what seemed to be a simple solution.

And so Motome Fumika closed her heart, and stopped thinking about it.

Dulga Tarata

First, Dulga raised her hand towards Mamoru. Then she grabbed Mamoru's head, which almost fit completely in the palm of Dulga's hand, and then very lightly she started to crush Mamoru's face. "Shut up and listen." Dulga said coldly. "I'm not impressed at what you did yesterday. Far from it; it was reckless and pointless. Your 'traps' failed to stop the opposing team and just got in the way of your allies. Your 'tactic' to disable the truck only manage to take out one student and yourself. You need to stop rushing into things and thinking that you can handle it on your own. Don't rely on luck, and don't expect any mercy. This may be a training exercise, and your life might not be on the line, but make a foolish mistake and it will be your last." Dulga held Mamoru up to eye level, glaring directly into her eyes. She wanted to pound it into Mamoru's head that she was not to do anything like what she did yesterday.

"Do not leave my side. Communicate anything you see, and if your sugar-addled brain can form enough thoughts to formulate a plan, you tell us first before you go off and do it." Dulga dropped Mamoru back onto the ground as she looked to the others. Her softer expression was gone, and now it was all business. Now that they were further away from other students, and thus prying ears, she spoke about their specific tactics. "The plan is to skirmish. I don't want us to do team battles until the other teams are weaken, but Yozakura is right: we can't just keep playing defensive either. Yozakura and Kaida, I want both of you to work together and take down students one at a time. Mamoru and I will provide fire support and long-range recon." Dulga took out the communicator and made sure to sync up with her teammates. If possible she'd also bring up a map of the area.

"I can't say I know who our first opponents will be, but I have an idea of who to prioritize first. From Team A, we must eliminate Ezra. Seeing what his quirk can do he's probably the only other student who could match me in range ability. Take him out and the rest would be easier to pick off. Obviously watch out for Jett and his quirk. Teleportaion is not an easy quirk to work around and from his kit I imagine he has more tactics than just trying to hit you from your blind spots." Not that Dulga didn't consider Mina a threat herself, but if all she had was hand-to-hand combat and her light-based quirk, Yukari should have no trouble taking on Mina. And while Dulga wished she could spar Mina as she promised yesterday the chances of that happening in this class was slim. Tomoe was a bit of a dark horse in their team; Dulga still doesn't think she had the skill or ability to be a hero, but aside from Tomoe's sleepy demeanor, Dulga had no idea what she could do. That being said Dulga doesn't consider Tomoe a large threat.

From Team C we need to take out Roy. His quirk will provide his team the most flexibility when it comes to fighting the rest of us. Don't underestimate the others though; I believe that one of them uses electricity." Dulga has only seen Roy's fight from yesterday, and she was only somewhat aware of Jojo's ability when Dulga was in the armory room yesterday. The other two team members Dulga has never met or seen before. One looked like a goat and the other was a cat.

Out of Team E, Fumika has the strongest quirk. Her projections can allow her to utilize the ability of anyone she's seen before, so she must be eliminated or else she'll capitalize on our weaknesses, or cover her allies. That being said I don't like the look of their new teammate. I believe he's from Class 1B... Full of troublemakers." Fumika's powers had a lot of potential locked behind her meek person. Still Fumika wasn't to be underestimated even if she is holding back, because the moment she stops is when she's most dangerous. Sizing up Takashi, Dulga could tell that he's experienced. He doesn't carry himself like a regular pugilist but a professional hitman. His gear was most telling. Chikai, Dulga didn't have any info on aside from her name. She met her yesterday and that was it. Dulga would have to keep an eye on them, but what worried her the most was the completely armored figure that Dulga's never met. She vaguely recognizes his name and only because she saw it on the roster for 1B. And after hearing all the trouble 1A and 1B had, she wouldn't be surprise if this Amane was also bad news.

And lastly out of all the students in Team E, I think Donny is the most important to eliminate. While Acion may have the ability to fly I'm confident that I can shoot him down no matter how fast he's going. On the other hand I don't have any means to shoot someone who's underground. I don't know what Donny is capable of aside from his tunneling abilities, and I suspect that without being able to dig underneath you he's not a very good fighter. Make sure you stay on the high ground." Donny demolished an entire building. And if the point the were expected to take was inside a building, that would just put everyone at risks. Acion was fast and could fly but Dulga was no stranger to shooting fast moving, small targets. Being bigger won't make it any more difficult once she gets a few seconds to figure his path. Luelle's quirk, from what Dulga remembered, allowed her to control fire and ice, which would be a problem. However Luelle also didn't seem to be that tough so one good shot was all Dulga needed to take her out. Haruka however.... Dulga didn't think much of her at first until she arrived to the armory decked out in some sort of power armor. Truthfully Haruka was probably Dulga's worse match up since her rubber bullets would be useless against that heavy armor, so Dulga would have no choice by to use hand-to-hand. And she didn't like to do that.

"We stick close to each other and remain on the move. The other teams will likely send their fastest or stealthiest to try and scout ahead, so Yozakura I need you to sniff out anyone trying to hide, and Kaida you need to crush them quickly. If we can eliminate at least one student in a team, that would make the rest of the team easier targets from the others."

Kaida looked at Yukari as she mentioned she trained with him. She spent time training with Jett? How did they know each other? She wanted to know more about that, and more about Jett of course…. “Really? What is he like? How does he fight?
Before she could get an answer, Dulga suddenly spoke up again, first scolding Mamoru and making it very clear what she wanted the pink haired girl to do, before going through every team and the people they should be most worried about first. When She brought up Jett and Teleportation she was surprised even more. That was a really dangerous quirk. Though she found it odd she never saw him use it, She would imagine having such a versatile quirk she would use all the time.
Clearing up what they needed to do once more, Kaida thought back to the map, and remembered Jett’s team was directly north of them. Looking at her own team she then said,
” So A team right? Get rid of Ezra and Jett first? If we go just west of the school we could cut them off if we are quick enough...or come up behind them...

At this point in time, she allowed her body to transform under her clothes, so her scales covered everything that was hidden. She did not allow her wings, tail or horns to form either of course. Immediately she felt a surge of strength in her arms and legs, and a fire burning in her chest, not of excitement or nervousness… but an actual fire that was always there in her hybrid form.
Ok… I’m ready... She said softly, as she turned her blade into a ready position as they got to their starting point.

Yukari Yozakura

"Hmm... It's hard to describe. I'm not really a fighter myself, and of course I can't really describe it by how it looked." Yukari wished she could explain it better to Kaida, but Yukari was never good at detail oriented stuff like that. She just learns through experience. Still if she had to fight Jett, Yukari would knew some of his tricks. As they walked and talked Yukari listened to Dulga and felt nervous around her. Dulga reminded her a lot of her old ring master; nice at first, but very aggressive once you see past her exterior. Yukari hoped that Dulga was just stern and not secretly sadistic, but all her comments about just shooting the other students did made Yukari uneasy. She wondered if Dulga would be the type of person who'd shoot a person while they're down.

Dulga's plans didn't seem too bad to Yukari. They made sense, though she was still a bit nervous. This would be her first big fight, and while she's sparred with Ezra and Jojo once before, she's never faced off against the rest of the class. Even Jett, she's only trained with him a few times when she first came to Japan. Who knows what he can do now. But Yukari would be brave. After all, what sort of hero would run from a challenge? "Team A seems like a strong group. But we should do what Dulga says and focus on one person at a time, and that would be Ezra. I sparred with him yesterday, he's kinda fast, but I think now that I have a better idea of his fighting style I could beat him. The trick would be trying to separate him from the rest of his team. Jett isn't reckless enough to let Ezra go on his own, and Mina seems like a smart person too. If we want to try to take them out we'll need to lure them out and divide them up." Yukari wondered how they would pull that off. Ezra seemed like a prideful guy, maybe if she challenged him directly they could get them into a 1-on-1 fight. Yukari might be able to hold her own against him while the others took one different members of the team. Though facing Dulga.... Yukari had a feeling that Dulga wouldn't honor a duel.

"Anyways, we should stick together, okay? Maybe we can goad them into chasing after us and taking them out while they're distracted. I'm sure they want to take the point first, so all we have to do is ambush them on the way. If we're fast, we might even be able to set up a trap for them to run into."

Takeshi watched as Aname ignored them, his suspicions growing even more concrete by the second about this guy. He ignored him for a moment when Hatori then explained her idea. He thought about it for a moment, glancing at their new teammate and said, “We shouldn’t wait in one spot, but continually move around the point. We also shouldn’t wait too long before trying to control the point. But I agree we should pick off teams by using your planes to position ourselves to ambush them along the way. “
“Also If we set up with you and Motome behind us while Kisimoto and I take the brunt of the fighting, I think we will do well.” He added before looking to Motome. Especially if you could copy everything you see, which would be amazing and could help confuse our opponents enough for us to take them out.

He noticed she was mostly sticking to herself, in her own head. He hoped she would be more engaged if he talked directly to her. When she would look at him, he would give her a confident smile.
He then looked to Aname and asked, “So what is your quirk Kishimoto?”

Ezra Jasekade

Tomoe Kishitmoto

Jett simply shook his head as Tomoe went through her socially awkward way of remembering someone. The girl looked up to him and asked if he liked her new hairstyle. He smiled and nodded, "It's nice, makes you look like a little strawberry."

It wasn't soon after this his mother and aunt had come, embarrassing him in front of his classmates. Manda's kiss effected him though which he didn't say. Despite the light shade of Red on his cheeks, his headache from the day before now simply melted away instantly.

As they walked away, Mina then said with a grin his nickname. His redness flared up again as he glanced at her confused. "After all of that... You bring up just my nickname?!" He said surprised... most of the time he got 'how is that your mother?' or 'you know those crazy chicks' or some rendition of the same question. But not her. She immediately went for the embarrassing part. His nickname....though...he did realise afterwards he didn't really mind her saying it, like Ms. Mako.

"Oh, don't get me wrong," Mina replied. "It did blow my mind that one of The Valkyries is your mom, but 'Jetty' is useful information, and I always prioritise useful information over all else. Onto business, I do agree with parts of your plan. Cutting the power, a good call with a human lightbulb on your team. I also like the game theory elements. However, Erza's right. We can't hang back. Even if they take each other out, they'll be amassing time spent on the point for their team. We need to interfere and keep them at each other throats, yes, but also off the point. Proactivity is how win this match. Also, we should try and stay off the ground wherever possible. Darkmatter is out biggest threat in this battle. He can attack from under our feet at any moment."

Ezra lifted Tomoe from the ground with relative ease. The feeling of her feet being swept from the ground and your balance being of for a moment was a bit distrusting. A sudden gasp sounded from the girl her mouth as she held onto his arm for dear life while to be raised up to a princes carry. After settling down a little more in his arms she let go of his arm and placed both hands down on her lap while she gently dropped her head against his chest. Ezra told her to definitely use her quirk during the fight, Tomoe gave a nod as she stretched her mouth wide open for a yawn. She tried to keep her eyes open till they had to fight so they didn't need to bother with her not using her quirk at that time.

"I'll try to... not sleep... wake me up if I do though."

Ezra spoke further on after Tomoe about what he thought would be a good approach to the fight. He agreed with Jett his idea for the most part and thought they should incorporate some more strategy into this plan. Tomoe just gave another simple nod with her head against his chest to confirm she was fast as well.

Mina spoke about Jett his nickname which cracked up Tomoe as well, she dropped her head back over Ezra his arm and looked at them upside down with her voice sounding different from the way her head was dropped back like that. Ignoring most else what was said.

"Jetty."

Ezra was surprised that Tomoe hadn't slept on his arms. She'd managed to stay awake from the most part and was even doing her part to listen, which made a drastic change to the Tomoe that he was used to that simply did as she wished and other people would have to suffer being embarrassed. It was quite refreshing. Within a short time, he'd got to know this girl pretty well.

He decided to address Mina's concerns about Darkmatter, given as she seemed to see him as a huge threat.
"Why do you think that Darkmatter is the biggest threat? He can did underground on us sure, but as far as I know, he's completely useless in open combat. I imagine with the restrictions of the referees present, he's not going to try anything stupid like last time and get away with it." he spoke with a shrug. He didn't want to downtalk Donny because he was an acquaintance who did help him after school, but he didn't see him as a threat at all.

"I'm going to speak out here just because I probably have more in-combat experience than the two of ya, but the 3 biggest in-battle threats on their team are Dulga, Takeshi and Acion. I'll explain, but don't think I'm belittling you. Dulga and Takeshi are both very experienced fighters They know how to manoeuvre around a battle, and having witnessed a spar with Takeshi and this mornings escapades with Dulga, I can safely say they are both going to be problems. Acion is going to be a problem because he can literally fly. I'm not the best of strategists, but if you think that Donny is going to be the largest threat, combine that with someone who has surveillance and communication with his entire team over the sky. We're going to have to look for a way to take him out, because if that duo actually realizes their strengths then we are truly in danger." he spoke in a relatively calm tone. Whilst his words seemed as if he was trying to establish his superiority, his tone didn't at all and he was genuinely looking to win rather than to anger his teammates.

Tomoe moved her head back up against Ezra his chest and softly spoke with her drowsy voice. Still no clue who all these people were when they talked about them, she didn't think she had to remember all their names and quirks right off the bat. She only knew like 2 more people apart from her group so she was useless with knowing how they would be fighting or what they were gonna be using to fight. Well not like it would matter much with her quirk. She would only move her clone around and try not to hit anything that wasn't the enemy.

"Oh, Dulgy worked me to the bone when we met... I like her though. Do we have to fight her? I down't really wanna fight her. Any of the other people you talk about, no clue who they are really..."

Jetty only continued to look red when Kasuke said it was useful information and glanced at Tomoe as she poked fun at him with his name as she lazily laid in Ezra’s arms. So he said nothing as she continued to to agree with part of his plan, and Ezra's. He shrugged his head as he noted their point of view as well.

Ezra then continued to explain how he had more in-combat experience than the both of them. Rolling his eyes, Jett had been in so many fights growing up it wasn't funny, But him mentioning Takeshi and Dulga were the most experienced, he didn't disagree with that statement. He didn't see Takeshi fight but he held himself as one who been through some stuff, he had a air about him that he noticed with his mother and father. Same with Dulga. Acion though he didn't, though his flight was dangerous in it self. He also agreed that Donny didn't seem like a threat, while he did try to bring a building down, he was still a wild card. "We should still be careful of him, he doesn't seem all that stable as it is. He might snap and try and pull something still."

As they drew close to their starting point Tomoe asked if they had to fight her. "That's the point of this exercise Tomoe... we have to fight everyone who's not on our team."

"As for the plan, I agree we take out people along the way, but the plan I had was to get as many people as we could inside, cut the power, use a couple of flash bangs and Mina's flash, to disorient them and make the room darker, This gives me an advantage because I have night vision and thermals in this helmet, I could then use the darkness of the auditorium, and the added disorientation help me take out as many people as I can. While I think you Ezra would be best suited to knock Acion out of the sky if he gets close enough. Tomoe's double could back you up, while Kasuke and I work together. inside."

Jetty didn't seem all too please with his new nickname, Tomoe simply gave him a drowsy grin pleased with his displeasure. Jetty was something that was gonna keep in their conversations for the rest of their lives.

Jett also explained to her that she had to fight anyone on her team, the fact that she had to beat her classmates was already crystal clear to her but it was not so clear to her that she knew some of them and had a fun time with those people. It felt bad having to fight them but she would just have to take it since the people she would have to fight would do the same back to her.

"Oh okay..."

"Pairing up sounds like a good idea, although... My quirk doesn't really listen to much, I don't know if you can keep it at bay really, since I can't at all."

Mina was slightly yet visibly annoyed by her teammate's underestimation of Donny and how much of a wild card he was, in more ways than one, though to be fair, Mina hadn't yet come toe to toe with Dulga or Takeshi. One thing she didn't agree with them on was the danger of Acion. The most dangerous thing about Acion was he was eyes in the sky and he could see them from above. Mina could take care of that with a simple beam of light into his eyes. And if the most threatening thing about Dulga and Takeshi was their hand to hand combat, well, time will tell if they were better than herself. She was no slouch when it came to sparring, nor was Jett.

"I'd still feel a lot better if I could keep an eye on Darkmatter. You can prepare yourself for a hard fight against a strong opponent. You can't prepare yourself for the very floor caving under your feet at literally any moment. At least I know he's weak to my lasers, and he knows it too. Hopefully that deters him from coming straight for us. It's a pity we don't know the quirks of all our opponents. There's still a strong chance we'll get taken completely by surprise, though I feel this plan's our best bet. It plays to our strengths. At least, most of our strengths. Tomoe, if your quirk won't listen to us, just let it loose in the other direction and we'll keep out of the way."

As the two continued the conversation, they began walking. Before long, the double of the teacher would have stopped at their destination and they would have arrived in good time, having a small amount of time to finish up their strategic talks between the group. Ezra didn't oppose to the idea of duos, and as far as he was concerned he didn't care who he operated with. He didn't mind operating with Tomoe honestly, as even though she was strong willed, he honestly preferred her company. Combat wasn't a concern for him.

"I don't mind splitting up into pairs. I say we roll with that if that's what you want to do and execute the plan we spoke about in smaller groups" he spoke calmly, getting ready for the exercise to begin as he began stretching for the final time before it would begin. He'd ready the small amount equipment that he brought with him which was exclusively throwables as he lay Tomoe down on the floor as gently as he could whilst taking a moment to speak to Yui.

Mina told her that if she wouldn't have to stay with them if she thought it would be dangerous herself. Probably the best thing to do but Tomoe didn't think it would be a smart idea either to take the other teams on alone. It was very easy to get someone to the ground with 4 decent quirks.

"Thanks, but it'll probably be fine, I got some things I could do if it does go wrong."

They had almost arrived at the space they were gonna be fighting in, to be honest Tomoe was a little impatient just wanting to sleep right now, it had been very taxing to stay awake but she wanted to get a good impression on her teammates to just be kind and not just sleep and drop the rest in their hands.

Yawn "Are we almost there? I don't feel like I can stay up much longer."

Ezra put her down on the ground next to one of the walls of the school building. She raised her knees up to her face holding her arms around her legs as she looked up at the other three.

"I can let her come out now maybe you can get a little introduction to prepare yourself and I could finally sleep. Maybe we need like rope or something to keep my quirk in place."

"It'll be fine" Ezra responded. Admittedly, this came from his pride. He didn't exactly think that Tomoe's quirk could outstrength him and if he had to restrain it, then it wouldn't exactly be an issue for him.

"You can sleep now Tomoe. As long as your quirk knows to follow me, that's all we really need. Everything else should come naturally, right?" he said with a reassuring tone as he he sat down on the floor and waited for the exercise to begin.

Ezra told her it would definitely be fine, Tomoe gave him a bit of a troubled look and sighed. Maybe she was overthinking this. They had quirks as well and were all in the top class so she shouldn't need to worry about her hurting friend. Furthermore was told that she could sleep now they had arrived. Ezra reassured her once more before she would sleep. Tomoe gave a gentle smile as she nodded.

"Good luck with the test, team. hehe."

Tomoe gave a gaping yawn as her eyes softly closed. Her head started hanging to the side as she drifted further away from the world into the world of clouds and dreams.

It took only a few minutes before a cloud like substance formed in front of Tomoe, first small before it exponentially grew bigger and formed in a small human like form. The substance sat down the same way as Tomoe was sitting in front of her. It formed human skin, eyes and hair just like Tomoe. The clone had the same costume on as her. It took a few more moments before she had completely formed and started breathing. The quirk her eyes softly opened up her legs and arms began to move. She stood up and glanced down at the real body of Tomoe. She crouched down slightly and softly patted her on the head. Tomoe stood back up right and turned to the rest of the team. Her eyes narrower and sharper than the real Tomoe. She tilted her head to the side, gave a grin to the rest of the team and a small wave from her hand at the side of her head.

"Hai."

Her voice was far less eccentric than Tomoe and more mature as her own.

Mina raised her eyebrow at just how different a girl could seem saying on word differently. With a nod to Erza, she parted with the words "good luck" specifically directed at Erza before heading towards the target building with Jett, leaving Erza and Tomoe to carry out their mission of disabling Acion.

Mako Akane

"I'll stop when I get told to stop. Besides, it's better a few tiles get broken than they go out into the big wide world and get tricked by a villain. I remember I used to relish coming face to face with a rookie and making complete fools out of them, and so too will the villains out there until I get these kids smart. Get them to understand villains, and to know why they do what they do, because that might tell you what they'll do next."

Mako finished her beer, then stretched, before cocking her head as a thought struck her. "You know, I always wondered why you never got into teaching yourself. You really do seem to care about the students, and you're smart too. Got a lot of experience in the field. Guarding the door's important, but anybody can do that. Not as well as you can, but aren't you a little wasted? At least that's how I feel."

Dulga Tarata

Dulga crossed her arms and listened to Kaida and Yukari chat. They seemed pretty focused on Jett, which made Dulga rub her eyes. She really hoped Kaida's crush and Yukari's relationship with him isn't going to interfere with the training. She had very little patiences for high school romances, even from her friends. She snapped her fingers to get their attention. "Focus. If we're going after Team A, we'll use a mix of Kaida's and Yozakura's plan." Dulga pointed to the south-west part of the school, there there was a small neighborhood and a large parking lot. "If they intend to get into the school quickly, they'll have to cross through this open parking lot. That will make them easy pickings. However, we can't dismiss the possibility that they might try to hotwire a car or something, if there's any here. I wouldn't be surprised if there is." Dulga remembered how Team A somehow got their hands on a car yesterday, and Dulga kept that in mind.

"I don't care what you have to do to try and isolate them. If I had to guess, Ezra may be willing to stay back and try to hold off Yozakura and Kaida if he thinks they're alone. I'm sure Kasuke would have made plans for herself, Haven, and Tomoe to get inside and try to fortify the place. They wouldn't try to play defensive until they can secure the objective, but they aren't going to be so reckless as to attack other teams and potentially weaken themselves before they can fight for the point. So our priority will be speed: we need to be fast enough to intercept them first. Then deception: we need to lure Ezra away from his team. Kaida and Yozakura, I'll leave that to you. Tell him that Akasha and I have already gone inside to set up our own traps, or that we're going after other teams. Whatever you think would work best. And when he least expects it," Dulga loaded her guns. "I'll take my shot."

Of course that was just the first plan. Dulga would've liked to try to plan out everything else, but this battle was going to be chaotic with so many players involved. Heck, they might not even be able to take on Team A if they're not fast enough, get caught by something, or end up running into another team. Dulga reminded everyone about this. "But above all, be adaptable. Nothing is certain, not even victory. Stick close and keep your wits about you. Who knows what might happen." Dulga did one more check on her equipment before she knelt down to rest. She needed to conserve her energy for what was about to happen.

Donny rubbed the back of his head as Acion complimented him on his look. Admittedly Donny choose fairly cheap materials and this basic design (It looked less scary and more lazy) simply because it did what it needed to: cover his body. ”T-T-Thanks. You too. You l-look like a p-p-paladin or something!” Donny wondered if Acion used his own feathers to make his hero costume. From what he saw from the video yesterday, Acion’s feathers were pretty strong, yet lightweight enough to not weigh him down. That was some pretty excellent material, Donny considered taking a few himself if he finds them.

When asked about the other two, Donny shrugged. he was only vaguely familiar with Haruka and never met Luelle before. All he really knew was that they were both in his cooking and quirk application class, and he vaguely remembers that Haruka’s quick might be tech related. Soon before he could say anything, they arrived. Donny was shy but nodded his head to them. ”H-H-Hello! I-I’m Donny. I’ll b-b-b-be in your care.”

Luelle looked his way and smiled. She waved at him. She recognized him easily from the two classes she took with him. Cooking and Quirk applications. She never really tried talking to Donny, even though she wanted to.

“Hello Donny. I am Luelle Hailey. It’s nice to finally talk to you. I don’t know if you know of me. I’m n two of your classes”

”Greetings.” The winged fighter saluted his two teammates, as they both came. He did remember the girl who just waved at Donny, vaguely from the Quirk Application class the day before, but he couldn’t remember exactly the name, only until she finally spoke. The other one he also remembered seeing her somewhere, but only at that.

Acion glanced at both of them. They didn’t look too special, nor did they look unimpressive. They looked ok. Now he wondered how everybody’s quirks would give them an advantage in this fight.

”So have you guys thought up of a plan?”

Haruka prepared herself for the upcoming team exercise. It would be interesting, she imagined, but she had her reservations about it all. At least someone she already sort of knew, Donny, was to be one of her partners. Maybe that could help make things easier. In preparation, she changed into the first part of her costume before going to the armory. It was a snug, full-body suit that left only her head from about the jaw up exposed, black in overall coloration. Circuitry patterns, both functional and somewhat decorative, ran along the torso and limbs, mapping out a simplified depiction of her nervous system. Along the shoulders, wrists, thighs, ankles, collarbone, and spine, metallic plugs were attached, clearly meant to attach to something else.

Her main costume, luckily, had been shipped to the armory for her by the school staff. It wouldn’t do her well to be left without it, as her technology-manipulating Quirk was less suited for direct confrontation on its own. The powered exoskeleton she built, however, was more than enough to let her hold her own in an actual fight. Of course, while that was her main piece of equipment, it wasn’t the only thing she took. Some devices caught her interest, such as a radar, communicator, some stun grenades, and something that had especially caught her interest: a grappling hook. It was a pretty generic “superhero utility gear” device, but she thought it might be fun to try out.

Though she would have preferred disassembling the pieces and learning how to build her own from them, there wasn’t quite enough time for that, she imagined. Maybe afterwards, she’d ask for a little one-on-one time with the gear she picked out. Until then, integration would be satisfactory. With her chosen devices in hand, she approached her powered armor, statuesque in its size and unmoving stature. Once she was close enough, she turned on her Quirk. Lights on the armor’s exterior shone blue, and both the plugs and circuits on the bodysuit she had on glowed as well. The armor began to shift, the helmet separating into pieces that slid into one another, the chest raising entirely above the head, and the limbs separating open to allow her to enter.

”Okay, here goes,” She said to herself, taking a deep breath. Suiting up was always enthralling, but took a moment to get used to. The suit was larger than her, and had longer limbs. Though the armor had fully mechanical hands, her actual ones were just behind the suit’s visible wrist. Likewise, her feet were somewhere mid-shin, though the torso was built to mask the fact in its proportionate construction. Once inside, she closed the suit down around herself, then connected the devices she picked. The hook and radar seemed to be absorbed by the suit as it opened, pulled them inside, and sealed again, leaving no trace of the additions, while the grenades were simply held at her waist above her rear.

Now entirely enclosed, Haruka felt the plugs of her undersuit attach to the armor, and began to move. A few steps forward, a roll of the neck and shoulders, and some wiggling of her fingers to test the suit’s motion-mimicking confirmed everything was working well. Excitement filled her, and she took a dramatic posture, thrusting an arm up and sideways while the other pulled back towards her waist. “Henshin!” She called out, her voice altered mechanically. It was deeper, distinctly robotic, and even held a more confident inflection.

Now prepared, she left the armory to join up with her team. Upon reaching them, she put a hand on her hip and raised the other one, keeping her fingers straight in what could have been interpreted as a form of salute. ”Hypermeka reporting for duty!” She proclaimed. ”Haruka, that is.”

Donny looked to everyone and nodded his head. ”Y-Yeah, I remember you, L-L-Luelle-Chan. I-I-I hope we work well t-together.” Donny didn’t know the specifics of Luelle’s powers, but from the way she was dressed he wondered if maybe she was a wizard or something. Perhaps her quick can replicate spells? He wasn’t sure. Acion wanted to know if they had any plans and Donny had…. stratagem. Wasn’t really a plan so much as what he was going to be doing for most of the battle, but he may as well make sure his allies know what’s going to happen. Then Haruka arrives. If he had eyes he’d widen them; she went from somewhat curvy girl to decked out power armor!

”Whoa… That’s so cool Haruka!”

Donny wasn’t a techhead of any sort, but he liked robots and sci-fi stuff. Haruka looked like the sort of mechanical hero he always wanted to be. He was almost tempted to ask her to make him a suit of power armor right then and there, but he held himself back. Now wasn’t the time to be gushing and besides, asking Haruka to make him something as complex as a robotic super suit was a bit… Much. Clearing his throat he looked to the others.

”Well m-my plan is to um… Dig to the point and make some t-t-trap holes. Acion is t-t-the only one who can f-fly, so he should do w-w-what he does best, attack from the s-skies. Um…” Donny tried to think of something for Haruka and Luelle to do. He had a few ideas and decided to pitch them, trying to stutter a little less. ”Um… Why don’t…. Luelle go with Acion… And Haruka with me? Haruka can… Helped drag people underground… Luelle attacks with Acion. Um… Luelle, what is your quirk?”

”Hmm, a solid plan, I think, since it seems to me that we lack power.”

Well, the winged boy did wonder if Haruka’s impressive robot suit could brawl against other students, but considering this was not a two teams fight, but a rather free for all team based, bearing the brunt would not be a wise choice.

”I shall be your eyes and ears. I got these little spying camera to do the extra work.”

Acion simply extracted his hand, showing a bunch of small and round camera.

”But I think we should hear all our quirks before compiling a battle tactic. If you two haven’t heed my power, my wings have the durability of God’s armor, and feathers sharp as any blades. I can handle the sky well. How about you, Luelle?”

During the planning process, Luelle stayed mostly quiet. She fingered her costume which was almost like that of a sorceress. It consisted of a bright blue collared top. It had separate sleeves that went just above her elbows that were a navy blue color. She had a teal like color slash around her waist. She had a shorter skirt that matched her sleeves with a longer skirt underneath that went to the group that matched her top in color.

This was her first time participating in battles like this;so she had no idea what to say or do in this. She perked up when she heard the question thrown her way and she scratched her cheek.

“Well my quirk is a bit of an odd one. A lot really don’t have a name for it. It’s fire but it’s not like regular fire.” She summoned a small flame in her hand, making her right eye light up the same color. The person nearest to her would notice that the fire had the feeling of ice, even though the color of the flame was blue, the hottest flame according to science.

“I call it cold fire. I learned that I could control The temperature of it. I can make it very hot or so cold that upon impact, it could turn into ice.”

Donny looked to Luelle and shivered when she produced her cold flame. He was very sensative to extreme cold or heat, which meant a weakness towards fire or ice. He burns and freezes easily, and thus he was glad that Luelle was on his side. She practically had his weakness as a quirk. ”That’s cool. Literally. My q-q-quick is uh… Well I can eat anything. Metal, dirt, poison, h-h-heck I can even eat stuff that’s on f-f-f-fire if I’m fast enough. I um… I can eat super fast t-t-too. S-S-S-S-So I use to tunnel. By eating… Dirt.” Donny knew that his powers, while having been proven useful, sounded rather lame. Of course he was hiding the true nature of his power, as well as the sort of things he’s actually used his powers for in terms of combat. When he fought the robots in the entrance exam, he had no problems defeating them simply by swallowing them whole. The hard part was finding a robot that wasn’t being attacked by other students at the time.

He still didn’t feel comfortable revealing his true form even if two people already know. Part of him was nervous about who might judge him even though so far no one seemed to mind, though another part of him was intentionally hiding his true ability to his advantage. As far as he could tell, only Mina knew the full extent of his power, thought Ezra is at least aware of what he really looks like and may have already made some conclusions himself. Donny was also aware that both Mina and Ezra were on the same team. He didn’t really want to think about it, but if he wanted to make sure that the others wouldn’t be able to capitalize on his quirks and abilities, he’d have to take them out first.

In fact the more he thought about it, the more he wondered who they should try to go after. Team A and Team B felt like one of the stronger teams. Team A had Ezra, Mina, Jett, and Tomoe. Ezra had already demonstrated his strength yesterday when he sent that table at railgun speeds, nearly killing a few students from the sheer force of the attack. Jett was also a teleporter who was easily able to spam the ability for hyper mobility. Mina also was a skilled martial artist and her quirk could be used to blind or burn, as Donny learned when he faced her. Tomoe was the only one he didn’t have much info on, but she could be a dark horse.

Team B certainly weren’t slouches either. They had Mamoru, who everyone saw what she did yesterday. She was reckless, but also cunning in a dangerous way. Almost like Donny. Dulga also wasn’t someone Donny was going to dismiss; those six arms probably increased her strength, and from where Donny was at he could obviously see she was packing a lot of heat. She’d be dangerous simply because she’s the most heavily armed out of everyone. Yukari and Kaida, Donny didn’t know too much about. He’s never seen either of them in action but he could tell from their kit they were armed at least. Yukari had a bunch of restraints so her fighting style likely involved putting those restraints on her opponent, likely grappling. Donny could get out of them easily. Kaida had a sword. Donny’s been cut many times, but he’s never actually be pitted against a sword fighter before.

Team C and D weren’t slouches either, but Donny didn’t have much intel on them beyond what he saw from yesterday’s battle. Team C had Roy, who Donny knew had some light based ability. He wasn’t sure if it produced heat, but he knew Roy was stronger in the sun. 50/50, Donny could probably take him on inside a building or underground, but if Roy’s light abilities also was hot, Donny would just put himself in a bad situation. Aside from Roy, Donny didn’t know anything about the rest of Team C. Team D had Fumika. She didn’t seem the type to be good in a straight up brawl, but her quirk allowed her to make duplicates of things she sees. And Donny has no idea how he’d fare if he had to fight himself. Ideally he’d take her out with a surprise attack as well. The rest of Team D, Donny had no intel on.

”Hrn… A lot of my strategies rely on surprise attacks…” Donny mumbled to himself. Perhaps ambushes weren’t the most “heroic” thing to do, but that’s what Donny felt he could do best at. He doesn’t know if any of the other students had the same tunneling ability as he did. He knew that Mina at least was willing to chase him down his tunnels, so he made a mental note to make the tunnels even smaller; in his true form Donny could fit into some pretty tight spaces. Anyone who’d follow him would have to crawl and squeeze through underground, which would give him the advantage since it’ll cut off their mobility. Of course that ability goes right out the window if the other students fight above ground, like on a rooftop or something. Of course that’s also why he tends to bring down the house.

”Maybe…. To maximize our ability…. Raze buildings….” Donny said to himself, before realizing that the others might’ve heard him. He tried to pack pedal a little. ”I mean, c-c-c-c-collapse the rooftops. S-S-So they can’t get away f-f-from me and Acion can g-g-g-g-g-get a clear shot at t-them.”

”I see now.”

It was not entirely sure but very likely that his team would lack the ability to bore the brunt against other teams. Even in a one on one situation.

For Team A, Acion had witnessed the skills of three out of four players there. Mina is a skilled martial artist and a walking flashbang. Jett is an acrobatic teleporter. And Ezra had super strength, shown by yesterday’s lunch. After hearing Luelle and Donny’s quirk, it was hard to imagine them actually going toe to toe with each other. Of course, for Acion, it was easier. Mina, despite her skill sets, was grounded. Jett was pretty troublesome, since he could spam that ability repeatedly for increased mobility. While that does not technically make him fly, it allowed him to stay in mid air long enough to maneuver and fight. Ezra was actually the one he should be worried about. If he could kick that table with such might, then he would be easily able to throw objects at a much higher velocity. The best course of action here would be to outmaneuver, out-reflex him. It wouldn’t be easy, but it wouldn’t be too difficult. Acion was confident in his reflexes, that it could outclass most in the class.

Team B, we have Kaida, Mamoru, Dulga and Yukari. Yukari he didn’t know. While he had spent some times with Kaida, he didn’t know what her quirk was. Mamoru he had already seen her irrational recklessness, so he ought to be careful around her. It may be best to let others deal with her instead. For Dulga, he also didn’t know, but he had seen her firing guns in the armory. So she could use guns at the least. Maybe quite good, or even a professional. Acion didn’t know for sure, but whatever the bar was set in, he would place himself in high alert, as she could peep a shot at him at any moment, from anywhere. Of course, like for Ezra, if he could get through one, two or three of their projectiles, then they are vulnerable to his counter attack.

Team C Acion was blinded, although Roy he knew was capable of some sort of heat, whose effectiveness was not yet known. Team D was pretty much the same, with only Fumika. She appeared less intimidating and of a challenge to the winged boy, but he couldn’t let his guard down.

For Acion himself, he was pretty much the ace pilot of A-1. But his position in the sky wasn’t entirely his. His strategy would mainly revolve around blitzing the enemy, flying from a safe position, attack them with full power, then pull out and leave the scene. While this would not likely cause a KO, it could damage the team’s physical ability and morale.

He was speculating the plans when Donny voiced his own plan. A recognizable but a pretty scary plan: bring down the building...again.

”I don’t think I would agree.” Acion said. ”Not that it’s bad. It’s potentially lethal to others. And I believe I don’t require that to go through to take out everyone.”

”I would approve a safer plan. Just take it easy, and let the other teams deliver their blows to each other, and then we’ll storm in. I shall take the job of weaving them together. My strength is speed. In minutes I will be at their doorstep. And we shall gather them in one location at once. If tunneling is your specialty, then I believe collapsing the floor would be safer. And can still be implemented to solidly take them out.”

Acion then turned to the other two

”But I shall heed your words upon it. Which is more sound?”

As she listened to the discussions, Haruka’s suit took note of the information being given. Names, Quirk information, and portraits of her teammates taken in-costume by her helmet’s visor were gathered together in appropriate combinations, essentially creating profiles of them for her to look back on in the event that she needed to remember something. The mini-dossiers were quite barebones, but would be useful for her all the same. Of course, she could always add on to them as she got to know them better.

Information darted across the screen of the visor, filling her view with an augmented reality display of words that were formed by her thoughts. Due to this, the profiles were not exactly professional, essentially being written out in the way she’d put together a casual text or IM to a friend.

Donny
quirk: munchin and crunchin
notes: great cook, very cute

Acion
quirk: fly boy, pointy feathers
notes: cool name, probably a paladin

Luelle
quirk: temperature weirdness??? chilly fire?
notes: makes AC obsolete

With the profiles completed, Haruka smiled at the compliment Donny gave her costume, pulling off a very superhero-esque pose as she flexed her arms. “Thank you.~ I put this one together a couple months ago. It’s a little clunky and pretty heavy, but I think I’m making good improvements with the designs.” She was proud of her creations, and using the power armor just felt good. Of course, while a robotic suit of armor she was piloting probably made her Quirk quite obvious to the others, she decided to tell them about it a bit so they had a more concrete idea. “Oh, yeah. My Quirk lets me control technology, basically. I can learn about pretty much anything electronic or mechanical if I can take it apart and look it over, and then I can build things out of what I know. This suit took a lot of research on prosthetics and hydraulics, stuff like that.”

When plan discussions came up, her posture changed once again, shifting her weight to one leg as she crossed her arms. “Sneak attacks work, but I’m not so sure on the whole property damage thing,” She began. “But tunneling could definitely make for an interesting option. I’m not really built for digging, but a couple of my suit’s features can definitely help with the underground route. Take the others by surprise after they soften each other up a bit, then subdue and submerge. They won’t even see us coming.”

Luelle stepped forward. “If I could speak. I like the tunneling idea. Perhaps we can use these to trap our targets in and I can use the cold part of my fire to make ice to block the entrance so they can’t escape and we can’t fall through them.”] Luelle said. She looked around her group.

“Perhaps we should pair up a bit, for supportive reasons. You never know who we are going to run into. If I may, Donny, can I perhaps come with you. While your quirk is an amazing feat itself, you could be at a huge disadvantage if you run into someone who could take you out easy. I’m asking as perhaps a friend and a group member”

Looking around the group, Donny felt just a touch nervous. Everyone seemed so.... Cooperative. It was nice being able to work as a team. Acion didn’t like the idea of bringing down the building, and admittedly Donny wasn’t too eager to try that again either. Still most people know he could do it. Perhaps if he could just pretend he’s going to do that, people might get scared and leave the point. Wishful thinking of course. It’s more likely that people would be more aware of his abilities and try to take him out. All the more reason he needed to go underground. Haruka and Luelle seemed supportive of going underground, which actually surprised Donny. Most people don’t like the cramp spaces of the tunnels, and Donny typically doesn’t make them too big either, baring attempts at sapping fortifications like yesterday’s battle. Not to mention if they came with him, they’d see his true form.

Despite the fact that so far no one seemed particularly perturbed about how he really looks, Donny still felt self-conscious about letting others see him. He just didn’t like the idea, but he knew he had to get over it. If he wanted to be a hero, he needed to have confidence. ”One step at a time Donny-boy. Do it for the team. Okay, one, two three….” Donny gulped and looked to Luelle and Haruka, rubbing where his neck should’ve been. ”I’m…. N-N-N-Not against you two coming w-with me. I can handle t-t-the d-d-d-d-digging. Just….. Give me s-s-s-s-some space.” Donny took another deep breath. Legitimate teamwork. Luelle will seal the tunnels after he pulls someone underground, and Haruka and him could beat up whoever he drags down under. It was a simple plan, but that works best for him. Better than trying to figure out how to scare everyone off the point.

Now the only question was what to do with Acion. ”S-So if Haruka-chan and L-L-Luelle-chan come with me, w-w-what about A-Acion?”

”I’ve said this before. I shall be your eyes from above. You can’t drag anyone down if you don’t know if they are there.”

His idea was simply weaving all the teams together at one point by harassing them with feathers, like a falcon that storms from heaven, so that they would move more quickly to the point. He knew that some people would try to avoid a direct confrontation, so he would have to do that. There, they would weaken each other. And then his team would storm in and take the point. Now that it was more of baiting them into a trap rather than that. It was fine enough.

”I will be fine on my own. The last fight I emerged victorious, and this time I shall too.”

Still, he had to pay attention to who he would blitz in this fight though, since they are all potential people. Ezra could shoot him down. Dulga could shoot him down. Jett could fight him toe to toe. Mina could topple over his accuracy, though it would very unlikely that it would take him down. Accuracy. The more reason why he brought some smoke grenades with him. For now, team A looked like a very very bad choice. Team B as well, since there that fluffball Mamoru that could deal with his feathers. Team D seemed ok, but the presence of a few individuals seemed to creep up his nerve. Team C looked more tempting, but he’ll see how the battle would progress first.

”I will communicate with you all very frequently, so don’t go radio silent on me at any time.” He said to everybody, hoping that they would take note of that. ”We have one solid plan there.”

Haruka nodded, all of this sounding agreeable to her. ”Okay, so Acion takes the skies and tells us where to strike, and we catch everyone off guard. Sounds like a plan!” She uncrossed her arms and pumped a fist to emphasize her point, then stuck it out towards the others, palm-down. The intention was for everyone to do the same and cheer together, and the excitement in her body language betrayed the wide smile hidden behind her helmet’s mouthplate. ”Let’s get out there and win this together! Plus Ultra!”

Gulping and adjusting his cloak, Donny still felt nervous as hell. He supposed that after a while these jitters in his guts will go away, but he still couldn't help but feel… Excited. He liked this team. He liked this plan. He wanted to make everyone proud. Haruka sensed the hype and extended her hand. Donny knew a team hand stack when he saw one. Flexing his fingers Donny’s hand joined the pile. He swallowed his fears for just a moment and nodded to Haruka. ”P-Plus Ultra!”

A smile escaped his lips. It seemed solid indeed. To be honest, he liked how his team was cooperating on this one. He really appreciated that.

”Arch-”

Acion shutted up at the last second. That name, when he thought about it, was embarrassing somehow. He had to ditch that personality. He should come up with a new hero name. Something more powerful and befitting.

Another name came into mind

”Storm Bird, primed and ready. Good luck everyone. Plus Ultra!”

”Right! Let’s stick to the plan and we will emerge victorious. I will make sure I will be great help” Luelle said. She honestly didn’t know what name to call herself, so she only offered words of encouragement.

Flying Ace

Hatori nodded and crossed her arms. "I was just thinking we have the element of surprise, especially with that knight and me as an unknown, and the point would be as chaotic as is," she replied, looking around at her teammates and not feeling as confident as she was before. "We have this... quiet knight person who wouldn't even talk and this other girl who's spacing out!" she thought. She was trying to keep a straight face, but she was almost panicking on the inside. "But you do make a point."

She looked at Fumika and took a deep breath. "Maybe this is where your Quirk comes in, Fumika," she added, a bit louder than before. "You can project us, or maybe Takeshi's shadow construct or my paper planes. We can even try to lure other team members out with your projections and we'll ambush them like that,"

Hatori was just throwing suggestions at this point, but she knew little about the Quirks of her other classmates, not enough to form a sufficiently solid plan. "Anyways, I'm not sure if I said this before, but my planes can serve as my eyes as well. It'll help us survey the area nearby, though my physical body will be blinded, so either Fumi or Takeshi has to cover me when I'm going to use it. Say, is there anyone on the other teams that we need to watch out for?" she asked the both of them.

People were talking to her. She snapped back to attention, but what had she been doing? Right, the mission. She needed to focus on the mission. But what was she supposed to do? She tried to think up a plan, something she could do to help... But last time she'd done that, everything had failed completely. She'd sent her team into a trap and ended up in the most disadvantageous situation possible herself. If she tried to act based on her own intuition, of course things like that would happen. No, the best thing she could do was act as she was told to by her teammates. That was the path of least resistance, the simplest possible action available to her. It would be alright so long as she didn't get in the way.

But, as for what they were asking... It seemed like there might be problems. She wasn't sure if she could do as they asked. She didn't want to disappoint them, but... wouldn't they be more disappointed if she tried and failed than if she spoke up now?

"Umm..." She began, but her voice half-choked in her throat. Why was it so hard to speak suddenly? Why was it that suddenly, she was scared of every word that left her mouth? Was it annoying if she talked like this? She wasn't good at this sort of thing, so it was hard for her to tell, but...

"I'm... not sure if that's a good idea." She managed to force the words out, but even then, her voice was quiet, a low murmur half-muffled by the collar of her romper. But still, she had to speak up now, or it would only cause trouble later. She tried to forget that there were people listening, and to just recite what she was thinking in her own head, but even that only provided a modicum of comfort. "My projections... can't go more than 15 meters away from me, so I'd have to be close by in order to keep them running. That would make it hard for me to mimic those paper planes very well, since I couldn't make them go anywhere. What's more, I already used that tactic during the last exercise, and they played it back for the class... I think people would remember that, so they'd definitely expect a trap if I tried it again."

She'd managed to say it. She took a deep breath of relief, but stopped herself when she realized, much to her chagrin, that she hadn't actually offered an alternative. In that case, wasn't she just being uncooperative? She needed to come up with some way she could help, but what...? Thinking about it rationally, she was probably the easiest target of the team, which meant that enemies would try to eliminate her first to weaken their overall cohesion so they could gang up on the others. But at the same time, she couldn't possibly suggest that she just hide and let the others do the fighting. She had to help somehow, without making herself a target. Then... maybe... Right, like what she'd thought of during Quirk Application!

"Umm... But if I stayed close to the rest of you, I could use my Recording instead of Playback." She blinked. They were all looking at her quizzically as though they didn't understand... Did her plan not make sense? ...Oh, wait, but they didn't know the ins and outs of her Quirk, so what she'd just said probably didn't make any sense to them. She was so stupid... Of course she'd have to explain it better. "The way I copy things is by emitting particles over the area I'm looking at to scan its composition and structure. But that also lets me tell where things are, even if I can't directly see them." Did that make any more sense now? It was hard to tell, but she was fairly certain she'd explained herself properly. In that case...

"So, if any enemies got within fifteen meters of us, I could locate them, even if they were invisible or burrowing underground. That way, I could compensate for the paper gir- Um, I mean, Hatori-san - not being aware of her immediate surroundings." If they were just planning on a defensive holding action at first, then making it impossible for enemies to approach unnoticed would give them a powerful advantage, especially if they managed to claim an easily defensible position. Combined with the paper girl's long-range scouting abilities, they'd effectively have complete knowledge of the battlefield at all times. "I'd also be able to warn you of incoming attacks, and maybe even create walls to block them if I was fast enough." If she was fast enough - there was the catch. In her last battle, she'd hardly had time to so much as look at her enemy, let alone fight him. If she ended up in a fight against someone like Yoshida again-

Yoshida. He should have been there with her, fighting alongside her this time. Just like how Haruka should have been there, showing her the way. Friends were supposed to work together, and he'd said they were friends, so why was it that he didn't want to see her?

No. No, no, no! She couldn't think about this. Her heart was hurting again, and she was losing her focus. If she slipped up like this during a fight, then...

She sighed, her antenna of hair flopping back and forth with barely-contained anxiety. "A-anyway, I'll just... Try my best to back you up." She was too slow and too weak to fight someone like that head-on. Even if she wanted to help, she'd just get in the way if she tried fighting herself. But if she didn't fight, then wouldn't everyone realize that she wasn't cut out to be a hero like Haruka? If she couldn't consistently reach that level... If she couldn't solve problems on her own, then...

But where was the point where those two goals intersected? How could she fight like a hero and win without slowing everyone else down? Was there even a way to accomplish such a thing?

As usual, she had no idea at all.

JoJo Ruby Mamoru Maeda Hitomi Roy Kusayanagi

Team C

Isshin smirked as the group continued forward, “You all might’ve noticed that your team is short a member, don’t worry though. Reinforcements is on the way” he said giving a wink to the trio. As soon as he said that he could hear Mr.Hisakawa making his way over to the group with their reinforcements. “Speak of the devil” the man smiled as he came to a stop and looked back as the old man dropped off the student. 3 out of 4 of the team members were transfer students, this exercise was more so a proving ground than training for them.

Roy was caught up in the atmosphere of the area, the air that he breathed was nice and free. It reminded him of home. “We should probably take this time to come up with a strategy of some sort, we can’t just rush in full force. Especially with people like Ezra and Acion out there” The boy took off his helmet out of courtesy so his group mates could see the face of who they were talking to. This was when Isshin informed them on their missing member, in which the boy hadn’t totally noticed until now. He scratched his cheek nervously chuckling,

“I hadn’t noticed to be honest, was more caught up in my own thoughts.” after saying that Mr.Hisakawa came dropping off their 4th member. A strangely dressed girl with cat ears though she was attractive so it didn’t bother Roy all too much. “At least we got someone in place of Toni though. It is nice to meet you, my name is Roy Kusayanagi” he offered a hand as he introduced himself to the new member.

Hitomi only recognized the names of a few of her classmates from yesterday’s Quirk Application class, so was drawing a blank on strategy, even knowing what three of them could do. That’s when the fourth member was finally announced and introduced. Hitomi glanced at her to give the new girl a smile and a nod before going back to her thinking and planning, before she noticed the cat ears, whereupon her whole demeanor changed and she suddenly grew really, really happy. She zipped right up to Ruby, beaming, and held out her hand not even a second after Roy did, and certainly not enough time had passed for Ruby to have shaken Roy’s first before she found herself with another hand to shake.

Upon inspection, the hand belonged to a girl with soft-looking white hair in a ponytail, and emerging from it were two sheep ears, and two goat horns. The sheep girl was wearing a tight, ill-fitting brown bodysuit with a suspiciously natural-looking fur trim.

“Hi, I’m Maeda Hitomi! Call me Hitomi!”

Joann stretched getting herself nice and limber it also helped to build up more energy to run throughout her body this way, after rolling her shoulders she caught what wing of the information Roy was talking about. He mentioned two people named Ezra and Acion but didn’t bring up their quirks meaning he knew they were capable even without using their abilities, she knew Acion from the gym incident, though had never actually spoken to him, Ezra was brand new to her. “Be careful if you fight Takeshi, he might be stuck up and a whiner, but he’s pretty tough with that stick of his” JoJo explained and then moved her eyes over the rest of the teams and bit her bottom lip when she saw Yukari “Yuka’s quirk is some kind of rubber ability, that and she’s a tricky one so don’t get caught off guard” that was all she knew of anyone on the rosters, she didn’t even know her own roommate’s quirk or fighting style other than she was very well off.

“HM a fourth member?” she asked blankly soon to be greeted with the sight of another student, she had never seen before but this one had cat ears. Bringing up her arms she mimic’d Roy and took off her helmet to greet the new girl and shortly bowed her head as an acknowledgment to the fourth member “I’d shake your hand, but my gauntlets would shock you to hell, anyway my name is Joann but JoJo is better”

The first thought that rushed through Ruby’s head when Roy offered a handshake was that he indeed seemed polite. While that was something Ruby valued, her eyes were more busy wandering up and down his body, inspecting him thoroughly so she could always end up recognizing her teammate wherever. She returned a friendly smile to our boy Roy before she was abrupted. Ruby pulled her hand back and sort of smiled awkwardly and in surprise at the sheepy girl. If Ruby didn’t know better she would even call her cute. However, since she offered her hand so rapidly and somewhat pushy, the catgirl was quick to shake Hitomi’s hand first before immediately after going for Roy’s. While smiling, one could see her fangs which were one more feline feature of hers. Unluckily however, not a trusty tool to be used in battle. They just sorta looked cute.

“Please call me Ruby. It is my pleasure to meet you all.” she said with a calm yet friendly voice. JoJo herself was acknowledged with a returned bow of Ruby’s own head, she thought that returning this greeting was the most appropriate behavior.

“I’ll do my best so we can prove ourselves!” she said somewhat enthusiastically. Luckily the others couldn’t see her tail as it was since it was shaking rather happily below the coat. She genuinely enjoyed meeting her (hopefully) soon-to-be classmates and comrades in arms.
While Ruby didn’t personally care as much for their quirks, it was very interesting to know and important to know for the fight that was coming up. She would need every piece of intel that the girl could acquire.

“I’ll admit that I don’t know too much about this yet. Neither anyone’s quirk nor the situation of the map and all. I was pretty much just pulled out of class and told to come here so I apologize for that.”

Roy took a quick brain note on what Jojo had to say about Takeshi and Yukari. Takeshi had some kind of stick supposedly and Yukari had some rubber technique? These were very vague details but it was better than nothing. He would need for her to elaborate.

The boy was relieved that their new teammate had a positive attitude. He gave her a nice firm handshake “Yeah, let's do our best. Also it is fine that you don't know our quirks, we just learned each other's not that long ago.” Roy held his hand out before making a small construct that looked like a wooden construct. “I can make constructs out of solar energy as well as harness it raw. Swords, shields, spears, you name it I can make with the right amount of energy."

“We were just about to come up with our strategy for the bout but I'll fill you in on the basics so far. We are playing a big game of king of the hill and right now we are en route to the starting area. The good news for us is we have a clear path and all we have to do is head north, bad news is we are sandwiched between two teams so an encounter on route is highly likely.” Roy put a hand on his chin briefly thinking. Majority of his foes in this battle he had no clue on what they were capable of which bothered him.

“After everyone is done explaining their quirks I think the best course of action is sharing our knowledge on our opponents and making some kind of plan from there.”

“My quirk is nothing special, and I’m not even being humble,” started Hitomi. “My quirk is nothing but my sheep and goat traits. My ears, my horns, my hair, that’s it. I think I was only brought in because I was top of the class in Support, so I hope I can bring something to the team. Takeshi has a stick so that could be related to his quirk but I don’t know. Maybe he could just be good at fighting with sticks and have a secret quirk. Yukari has a rubber ability, though. That might help us figure out what their strategy is going to be if we know the quirks of the rest of her teammates. Roy, you were here in this class yesterday. Do you know anybody’s quirk? The more we know, the better we can plan. Especially if it’s a quirk of one of the team members in the groups either side of us, which if my memory serves me right, were Yukari, who we know about, Kaida Beaumont, Dulga Tatara and Mamoru Akasha in Team B, and Monotome Fumika, Amane Kishimoto, Yashiro Takeshi, and Chiwa Hatori in Team D. If you’ve seen them use their quirks or fight in a class or exercise at all, please tell me.”

Hitomi had taken charge pretty fast and had a lot of academic confidence for a member of the Support class. seeing this cute sheep girl turn into a professional sidekick, at least in attitude, was as jarring as it was sudden. She hadn’t even come up with a plan yet. She was merely information gathering at this point, though having remembered the full names of the members of the enemy teams was impressive. Hitomi was clearly top of the class for a reason.

The boy folded his arms as the adorable sheep girl switched into strategy mode. When she asked if he knew anything about the surrounding teams he was a bit reluctant to admit he did not know everything.

I’ve kept a close eye on everyone since I met them so this pays off pretty well though there are a few blanks in my information log. Mamoru Akashi can summon a super durable shield on will. Caution should be used around her as the fighting style she uses is extremely reckless In the sense she won't mind maiming herself and her opponent. Despite her small size she is exceptionally sturdy. Mamoru sports pink hair and a bubbly attitude.”

"Dulga Tatara, her quirk is a mutation type which gives her six arms and super strength to go with them. I'd say you get in her grasp it is pretty much game over. She won't shy from using underhanded tactics if it means victory. You'll know who's dulga is because she is extremely tall.

Kaida Beaumont, I have yet to see her quirk to be honest but all I know is that she is resistance against heat so in other words a natural counter for me. Kaida has purple hair”
He said folding his arms as he relayed the information.

“Team D I only know about Motome Fumika, she can make constructs like me though not quite the same. When she activates her quirk her hair is the giveaway.” He rubbed his head as he had yet to see the rest of the others on team D in action.

“I also thought I should mention more on what I do know. Team A I have probably had the most time inspecting as I've been in combat with each of them. Ezra is the tall boy with black hair, he had exceptional strength and can move pretty quickly for a big guy. His quirk accelerates an object boosting its destructive capabilities and speed.

Jett Haven, the other blondie in this class and a ladies man nonetheless. He is capable of teleporting though I do not know he specified distance. He does happen to wield batons so be weary in close quarters. Jett is wearing a black gray and red getup today.

Mina Kasuke is the blonde girl on team A, she knows martial arts and by no means a lightweight. Her quirk allows her to emit light and laser beams. she might try and blind you with her light while she attacks you“

“Tomoe shouldn't be too much of an issue when she is awake but when she is asleep her quirk spawns a doppelgänger who is not like Tomoe at all. The clone is much more battle oriented with impressive speed and strength.

“On team E, Donny and Acion are to be watched out for. Acion is the only person in our class who I've seen capable of flight. His wings are made of razor sharp feathers as well.

Donny I don't exactly know what his quirk does but I do know he can cause mass destruction. Last exercise he toppled a building so I would label him a threat. The other two on team e I have yet to see in action.”

“By stick I mean he carries a wooden sword, I think his style is Bushido, but I could be wrong, he’s the type of person who doesn’t want to use his quirk unless he has to” JoJo further explained, continuing with her stretches the goggles she wore focused and tinted themselves to further limit the sensations her eyes were experiencing and heighten her focus on one thing.

“Anyway, my quirk involves activity and moment, the more I’m active the electricity I generate, the better overall my body becomes,” She explained to the new girl “, that reminds me, you make light contracts right; is there an energy release when you make them or do they contain energy…. actually, just make something and I’ll trial by fire it” JoJo requested popping her back and walking up to the boy. “Also, Hitomi with all the sheep’s wool I bet you gather a lot of static electricity we could synergize that with my quirk for a power boost, also who are we going to fight off for the point, target selecting or are we just going to gun it for the point because I think I can outrun most of them”

Ruby watched very closely as they all explained their quirks both to one another and to herself. It was crucial knowledge in the upcoming challenge and all the information that they had about their opponent would surely and greatly aid them in what was to come. It didn’t exactly boost her confidence knowing that one member of her team has little to none fighting capabilities, at least from what she had told the team. However, it was way too early to give up hope.

“I suppose since everyone is explaining their quirk best course of action to do so too.”
The girl reached on her back and pulled her sword forward, holding it out in front of her as she slowly let the long piece of cloth at the handle fall down to the floor. “I don’t know how to explain it well which is why I’ll just show it I suppose.” After that, Ruby threw the cloth of the sword in the air so that the entire length was lifted off the floor. Then, without any optical or audible changes, it suddenly just became ‘stuck’ in the air. Ruby let go of the sword to examine it as the length of the cloth together with the sword both were now stuck in the air.

“I can make things basically unmoveable. It is unaffected by basically everything else now. You could sit or stand on the cloth or sword if you like and it would still stay stuck mid-air. If there was a truck charging at this cloth and sword with full speed it would still not move and the truck would crash into it as if it was an indestructible wall. Keep in mind though, since it is literally unmoveable now I can only move it again if I release the effect. It doesn’t work on humans or animals though.”

And with that Ruby grabbed the handle of her weapon again before slowly putting it back onto her back. Afterwards she decided to listen for now. She didn’t know anything about their opponents, but it would be very important to learn about her teammates first too. After all, they would need to come up with a good strategy! The only problem was that Ruby had never fought in a team yet and barely ever spoke to people before. Therefore, she really did not know what to say in that situation without showing her incompetence when it came to these kind of team meetings, so she just sort of shyly looked to the floor in front of her and listened to what they had to say.
Hitomi, processing all of this information, thought for a second.

“Hmm, if they’re all as powerful and as good fighters as you suggest, they might be focusing on each other, as per Game Theory. What if we make a beeline for the goal, using my shotgun, JoJo’s electricity and Roy’s light to keep any attackers at a distance where their combat abilities will mean nothing? If there’s a locked door, I ram it. Once we’re in the building, Roy and Ruby can barricade us in very effectively. Our only concern after that is this ‘Donny’, if he can level a building, we might not be safe, but I can’t see a Hero doing something that dangerous on a Hero course….twice…” Hitomi gulped. So this was the big leagues, huh?

“That teleporting boy. Can he bring his teammates into the building with him or will he have to come alone? Mina...We should have brought visors or goggles, but I didn’t know anybody’s quirks. Roy, can you block or absorb her light? We don’t know everybody’s quirks either so there maybe somebody who could stop us in our tracks before we reach the building. It’s not a foolproof plan, but it plays to our strengths.”

Roy fangirled a bit when Ruby revealed her quirk, it was really unique how the sword was just fixed in place. Like a magic trick almost, when she offered for the group to try and move it he was the first to make an attempt. “Don’t mind if I do” He said grabbing the hilt of the weapon, he tried moving it from its fixed position but it was no use. It was as if the sword was excalibur and he was not worthy of removing the blade.

“Some quirk you have their, its like an impenetrable defense if you ask me” he said scratching his head. When Hitomi went back to strategizing Roy went back into serious mode, “Yeah they certainly are hero class potential, they have some kind of skill or talent that gives them an advantage in battle. I don’t think they would completely waste their time chasing after us but that does not mean we can leave our guards down. We should probably avoid teams early on like Hitomi said. It would be a waste of time and energy.”
She then asked if Roy can block or absorb her light triggering a brief flashback from his fight with the girl. He shook off the thought and gave the sheep girl and Jojo his answer.

“Yeah I can reflect her light with my constructs and they contain solar energy when I make them in order to keep shape.” Roy made a small ball, “Careful it is hot” he tossed the ball over to Jojo. At this moment the boys eyes widened up, if this was a cartoon a light bulb would be shining above his head. “Hey Ruby, could you try something really quick?” Roy said as he his hand out, the lights on his armor began glowing yellow as his quirk activated. Soon a sword was constructed out of the light, he gave it a couple of swings before holding it up to the cat girl. “Since you can freeze things do you think you can put my construct in stasis? It is made entirely out of solar energy so don’t hold it for to long it might burn ya.” Roy said eager to find out the outcome of this test.
With a rather serious expression herself, Ruby was quick to answer Roy.

“Well… it is not unlimited. It does not matter how much pressure or energy is put onto the object that I froze, that won’t affect me. However, the duration and size of the object basically dictate how much effort it takes me to keep it in that state. It can get quite energy consuming I am afraid.”
She crossed her arms in front of her body and listened to the conversation carefully. Sadly Ruby had to admit, she did not have a plan herself for the situation. Luckily however, the support-class call up seemed to have plenty of ideas for a strategy and Ruby was better in fighting than planning ahead anyways.

Once Roy moved his construction over to Ruby, she carefully grabbed the shining blade by its handle and observed it in her hand. It was quite amazing, it felt like a normal blade in every way, except that it was quite hot to touch. However, this just served as a reminder for Ruby how amazing other people’s quirks can be. Amazing but certainly also frightening.
“There should not be a big problem with that as long as it is made of molecules that are bonded together I can put anything into the stasis." Since the weapon was slowly becoming uncomfortable to hold, Ruby’s golden eyes wandered off the construct and looked at Roy before she just opened her palm to both release the blade reveal that it was indeed suspended in the air.

“It will stay exactly the way it is until I release it again and probably nothing will be able to move it… or…” She raised her right hand and extended her index finger as if she was about to say something important. “The time limit is up. Please keep in mind that my ability has a time limit to it. The longer I come into contact with something, the longer I can freeze it. Since I touched the sword for roughly 15-20 seconds, it should be able to stay like this for roughly 5 minutes. Though don’t quote me on that.” Ruby said with her typical quiet and calm voice.

Joann’s eyes opened a little wider when Roy created the little floating orb, this was the first time she saw a creation quirk up close, it was hard to believe someone could just poof something into existence with no effort the whole idea of it really put things into perspective about where she was. She quickly snapped herself out of the trance and went to grab the ball without a second thought and winced at the heat it generated, but refused to let go eventually she put more pressure on it trying to see if her body could absorb and convert his energy to hers. Eventually, cracks started forming around the object, but she wasn’t gaining anything from, at one point she stopped wondering if she could and broke the orb to prove a point.

“Well that’s a clear no all I got was first degree burn guess you and Ruby are our only synergy quirks speaking off Ruby, that’s quite the quirk you have there I think it going to be a game changer” She commented looking back up at the roaster for the other teams “I think we should talk about formation, single file feels like suicide mission; I’m the fastest here so I could scout ahead or intercept people, Ruby and Roy can build temporary defense while Hitomi guards them” JoJo suggested scratching the back of her head and sighing, this was probably the most effort she had put into anything since coming to school, honestly she was just itching to fight the amount of energy she had built up before coming to class and what she was generating right now created two more stars that floated aimlessly around her like they were stuck loosely in orbit. “Oh, and my quirk does this when I have too much stored up, far as I know they act like batteries,”
Honestly, that wasn’t the only thing she noticed about her quirk the fact that her body creates those stars stopped her from gaining more energy creating what felt like a ceiling to her power putting the girl in a box of limitation whereas everyone else felt as if skies the limit. Keeping that piece of information to herself she continued on with suggestions about the formation of the group itself until someone else threw their ideas in the hat.

“So,” began Hitomi, stretching. “Are we in agreement? The plan is to get to the room as fast as possible while still being careful and cautious. If anybody tries to stop us, Joanne intercepts. Or Roy and Ruby keep them at a distance. If anybody gets too close, they get a beanbag to the face.” The sheep girl cocked her shotgun for emphasis on that last line. “Once we’re in the building, we use our quirks to barricade it as best we can and deal with any unforeseen quirk users as and when they appear. It’s not foolproof, but this plan, I feel plays to our strengths better than any other plan will. We don’t want to go looking for a fight and risk any losses to our own numbers. The goal is to capture the point and defend it as a full team. If anybody has any more ideas, questions, suggestions or objections, now’s the time to voice them.”

Roy started stretching his arms as he nodded in agreement with Hitomi’s plan, “I agree with the plan, if there is one thing I’ll do it’s protect my team to the best of my abilities.” The boy said as he twisted and turned himself loose. It seemed like that vendetta with Jett would have to be put on standby. “Just don’t go too far from us Jojo, we don’t want you to be in a predicament that has you cornered.”

Amane Kishimoto

Amane walked in complete silence far from the group, the only sound that came from him was the clanking of his armor. His teamates seemed to come up with a decent plan as well as incorporate the boy into the plan without the boy even given them much to work with. Quite promising indeed these weren't a bunch of people who planned on sitting back tight. Soon the other male in the group asked him of his quirk though Amane took a minute to respond the boy.

"My quirk?" the armored knight asked as a bright purple aura soon enveloped himself. Soon the teammates around him would begin to feel a heavy weight upon their shoulders, as if they were carrying another being on their back. It was a heavy pressure that was placed upon their shoulders for a few seconds before it was immediately relieved. Amane's aura also disappeared as well, vanishing in the air.

"I can bend the fabric of reality...as for your plan just point me towards the first enemy you see and I will take over from there." he said looking down at Chiwa opening his hand, his palms were rather large. They shadowed the small girls fingers "I'll take that communicator that you have been holding on to." He only gave the team half of his story though not revealing that he could manifest artificial black holes as well.

"If you can keep up with me you are more than willing to but if you get in my way I wont pull any punches." the boy warned the others, he was not afraid of harming his own teammates if they put themselves in the way. It was his way of punishng thoes who are incompetent.

Commence Exercise 2, King of the Hill!!

Akihito Yoshida

The sun was shining brightly, greeting the combatants on training ground Beta. The teams were just a few minutes from beginning, the young heroes fabricated their strategies en route to their beginning points. The man took seat and the control nodding at the two ladies signaling he was about to begin. Soon the cameras flashed onto each of the 5 teams at their starting points.

Team A began at a T-interesction surrounded by the woods, Team B had a similar beginning location as Team A, Team C's starting location was unlike the others as they were surrounded in heavy wooding, easy to get lost if they take a bad turn. Team D began at a local community center, they were located farthest away from the point though not by much. Team E began in a gated community, filled with middle class houses and lakes. Once each of the teams reached their designated started points Yoshida Sensei came over everyones Communications devices.

"The time limit is 1 hour and 30 minutes, you may now begin!"

Aegis

And so the battle begins. Mamoru, stokes as always, was ready to charge right on through however she’d have to follow Dulga’s plan to stick with them. The location they’d start at was fairly forested, but with enough roads that it should be relatively easy for them to get to the main point. However Mamoru knew that taking the roads would make them sitting ducks to Acion, and who knows what other fun thing the teachers might’ve added just to mess with the students. Not that Mamoru minded.

”Hou! Go forth and conquer! Can’t wait to see how this all plays out!” Mamoru said cheerfully as she ran alongside her team towards the school. She was supposed to stick with Dulga’s while they look for a good sniping spot to pick off anyone who tries to get into the school. This area seemed pretty suburban, neighborhoods and such. No cars, bikes, or even much furniture. Empty buildings would make for the perfect fort though.

Soon Mamoru would arrive near the school where there was the large open parking lot. Mamoru spotted a nice two-story home that’ll make the perfect vantage point for herself and Dulga. ”Hey Dulga-chan, how about we set up there? It’s nice and high, and overlooks the parking lot.”

Dark Matter

And so the battle begins. Donny ate a chocolate bar for courage as he immediately went somewhere where no one could see him. While still hidden underneath his cloak Donny peeled away his flesh and reverted to his true form. He knew the general direction he needed to go and thanks to the communicator he was given, so long as he follows his compass he should be able to get a straight line to the building. The heart-beat monitor was also functioning so far, so he was feeling confident. Time will tell how long that would last.

Once in his true form he began to Tunnel, eating the dirt and ground beneath him. I. Just five seconds he ate a hole deep enough for him to stand in, and it was only going to get bigger from there. ”H-H-Haruka-San, Luelle-San, o-o-over here!” Donny’s voice called out to the two girls as he kept digging forward at alarming speeds, already picking up the pace so that he was burrowing as fast as he could run. Which wasn’t really that fast compared to other students, but certainly fast for burrowing.

In Donny’s true form he had his bones appendages grow out from his body to help drag him forward as well as break up loose dirt to make it easier for him to consume the earth in front of him. The girls wouldn’t really see anything from behind, just Donny’s haunches fighting going to town on the dirt. It was dark too, unless one of his team members made some light. Donny was basically on autopilot at this point and monitoring his compass, monitor, and communications. He decided to call Acion to see if he saw anything.

”Uh, A-Acio- I mean um, Storm Bird? How’s things l-l-looking up t-there?”

Storm Bird

The moment has arrived.

Once the cheers had been done, Acion moved to his starting position and waited patiently for the signal to go. As Akihito's speaking, he silently gave his teammates a thumb up, without looking back at them, as they were preparing to go underground.

"...you may now begin!"

The time he finished it, Acion immediately flew. His elegant white wings began to spread, proud and might. And as always, his wings movements appeared so natural that it lifted his entire body up without strain. Up, up and up, he soared.

The weather was clear, the wind was in his favor, so the six-winged fighter was able to go high in a short time. In just a few moments, he was already a few hundred meters above the ground. He kept on increasing his altitude, before he delivered his payload: a set of three spy cameras. As much as he wanted to position it in the right spot, he was risking running into people, so he instead threw them. He had traveled quite a distance, as he now neared the debated point. Then, he did a 180 degree turn, as he threw the spy cameras. They were equipped with a gyro sensor and a magnetic mechanic that allowed it to stick to something without actually having the lens being blocked. The place that he placed the camera, even Acion don't know.

After doing so, he flew up again, It took him a whole minute to reach the position. At that point, he stopped, and hovered, checking the cameras and so on. It was working perfectly, but he couldn't know where exactly it positioned. One appeared to have landed on a building's exterior, while one appeared to be stuck on a tree. But after a while, there were no movements visible on any. Therefore, he began using his binocular to watch the battleground from above, using in combination with the three cameras. It created a pretty wide vision of the battlefield.

"Hmmm...."

He noticed something.

"What do we have here?"

To the north of the battlefield, there was a group of people on the move. Four shadows. Remembering vividly the composition that the teacher gave him before the match, he knew that was team C.

He was mildly surprised. He knew that team C would be a tempting target, but instincts told him that things would never go his way. But it appeared that he was proven wrong. Logically speaking, he would still have a chance to intercept them. And this was that that he was looking for.

"Who was in C anyway?"

He remembered Roy was in it. Along with it, there were only...two more: Hitomi and Joann. That was weird. Were they one man down? No, there were four. He saw it pretty clearly. Did somebody unexpectedly join? Hitomi and Joann he did encounter once before, but they were merely talks and stuff. Hitomi patched him up yesterday, while Joann was the one in the gym incident. He did not know their quirks and so on. And that one guy...

They appeared to be heading straight for the point, which was going directly into the team's plan. But currently, there were no other teams that he could detect at the moment. So plausibly he could blitz them, and maybe cause some first-hand damage to them.

"That seems like a good deed."

Suddenly, Donny called him via the com links

"Donny? Yeah, I have detected team C. Engaging now."

Once said, he retracted all the holographic projection of the cameras, and began free falling. Meanwhile, he was keeping his binocular on, to continuously keep track of his targets. After a minute, he began taking his stances and initiated diving procedures. Their guards were down. Let fate let him exploit that to the maximum...

Dulga Tarata

"Remember the plan. We stick close together and take them out one at a time. Avoid team fights if possible. Kaida and Yozakura, Akasha and myself. Let's go." Once Yoshida gave everyone the signal Dulga led her team forward, straight towards the school building. She had already mapped out the quickest route to the school, though she also had a few detours in mind if case they ran into trouble. Dulga's footsteps were surprisingly subtle despite her size, and even her guns didn't jostle enough to be easily heard. It was eerie how quite someone her size could be. It wasn't long before they reached closer to the school and Mamoru pointed out a vantage point. It'll be a good place to start.

"Alright, me and Akasha will secure this building. You two," Dulga pointed at Kaida and Yukari. "Keep an eye out for other students and stay nearby. If you find anyone, inform us and we'll get into position."

Using her shotgun Dulga entered the building by snapping the doorknob with her hand. She had her rifle ready to gun down anyone or anything that wasn't on her side, but the room was empty. She quickly made her way up the stairs after doing a quick sweep of the area, tossing over any covers, cabinets, and opening any closets were someone could be hiding. Once the coast was clear she opened up a window facing towards the school building and took out her rifle. "Akasha watch my back and patrol the parameter." Looking through the scope Dulga tried to see if anyone else had made it to the building yet. So far no signs of entry as far as she could see, but she did notice something fast moving through the skies. By the time she traced the movement it had gone further south, where Team C should be.

"Must be Nakamiji. He's not a problem right now but he is alone. The rest of his team must be on their way to the point while he skirmishes with the others. No way they could keep up at his speeds."

Dulga resumed her watch over the area, the shadow of her being hidden in the dark house. Even though she has Mamoru here Dulga kept her own senses keen for others, as well as her allies. She was listening for subtle changes in their breathing, movement, anything that might tell Dulga where they are and where her opponents might be. She would not let herself become the hunted.

Takeshi listened to Hatori as she threw out some ideas, and Fumika added her input. He smiled for only a moment. Their team was probably the most well off. With Hatori and her ability to scout, and Fumika and her unique way of watching their backs, if they made their way slowly, they could essentially bypass any traps or get the jump on any team.
Hatori-San, Can you move and use your planes at the same time? He asked, looking at her, then to he turned to Motome. “Same question for you Motome-San. Can you use your...Recording while moving? Because if we used both of your quirks at the same time as we made our way to the building, we could easily bypass traps or get the drop on other teams while making our way to the point.”
As for Aname, his description of his quirk was extremely vague and unhelpful. He sighed when he also said if they find the enemy just let him do his thing. Clearly he did not want anything to do with the team. ”While you look capable enough to handle things on your own, I think you should still stick with us. With the four of us together, we can be even more formidable. That is the whole point of this exercise.

He then remembered Hatori’s last question and said, ” I don’t know everyone’s quirk, but I do know that a guy named Roy can make light constructs, much like my own quirk. A girl named Jojo who uses kenetic energy to make herself go faster, throw electricity with her punches and even solidify the electricity into a blade. She is extremely reckless and has no issue of using unstable techniques that could seriously injure her opponent. I received third degree burns from her yesterday in a simple spar. She doesn't care for anyone but herself. So be careful around her.

He thought for a second, “Then there is Jett, who’s mother is one of the Valkyries, if he’s anything like her he can teleport...but he will be a formidable fighter, much like his grandfather The Frenchman. Takeshi easily connected the dots because he grew up learning of Heroes and their quirks, their weakness...their connections.
There is also that tall girl...Dulga I think. She has six arms and has abnormal strength. I also saw her heavily armed with guns. So that would be something to look for Hatori-san. Any vantage point where a sniper can fire from, a high rooftop of a store, or second story windows of houses. You would have to get close to see, as she would not stick her weapon out of a window.

It was then the teacher started the exercise, at which he pulled his Katana from his sheath and held it lightly in his right hand, the tip of the blade meere centimeters from the dirt. Alright, Kishimoto-san leads, I follow with both of you next to me, Ill keep an eye out for the both of you while you use your quirks.

After they got to their starting point and agreed upon their plan, Jett pulled his hood/helmet up on over his head, locking it into position while leaving his mask off. He then checked all his straps and made sure everything was secure. He also made sure his collapsible metal bo staff was ready to be pulled out at a moments notice.

When the exercise started Jett and Kasuke broke off from Ezra and Tomoe and started to do a slow run towards the auditorium. He looked over at her and said, So I was thinking once we cut the power there, we enter through the roof, As I’m sure there are some faster students than us that would have made it there. Once inside, I can guide you to the middle of the room with my night vision and make sure they are all looking when you flash them.

As he spoke, his eyes moved from her regrettably and scanned the houses around them. He wondered if they had any useful items in them… much like the car…

But he glanced back to her and gave her a smile. "Now I see why you run in the school uniform Skirt. I must say, it's extremely impressive you can run in that dress.

Kaida was disappointed that Yukari couldn’t explain much about him. But there wasn’t much she could do about now. Yukari then spoke to her, about being quick and catch them off guard. She nodded,

”Of course, I’m fast, but I doubt we would have enough time to set a trap…” She said doubtfully.
he event started and she nodded as she started to follow Dulga, She was surprised on how quiet she was despite all her gear. She would have to ask her to help her on that later. It would always be a good skill to have. Once they found a building for Dulga to use, she again reiterated what to do.
Got it... She said with a smile to Dulga. “Let’s go Yukari!” She added with some nervous excitement, For this was her first mock battle. Having only trained in sparring sessions before this. This will be a lot more difficult, especially with all the unknown factors.
With her hybrid form, she was able to run alot faster than a normal girl her size. With this extra strength she had much more power in her legs. However she couldn’t run too much faster than Yukari so she had to slow down a bit.
Soon they came near the parking lot of the school. She came to a stop behind some houses. According to the map and where they started, they should be running by here on their left. She didn’t know if they ran by already, or if they beat them here. She looked to Yukari and asked,
” Do you hear them perchance?”

Storm Bird

VS (Or so)

JoJo Ruby Mamoru Maeda Hitomi Roy Kusayanagi

Team C

Once said, Acion retracted all the holographic projection of the cameras, and began free falling. Meanwhile, he was keeping his binocular on, to continuously keep track of his targets. After a minute, he began taking his stances and initiated diving procedures. Their guards were down. Let fate let him exploit that to the maximum…

Hitomi, positioned in between Roy and Ruby, was keeping watch of their surroundings. Suddenly, a feeling in her gut flared up. She was in danger! Looking around frantically, she could see no sign of an assailant, but only then did she remember being told about a student from another team who could fly, and looked up to see, sure enough, a winged boy descending towards them. How did she forget such a crucial detail? She should have been watching the sky more often!

“Look out! Attack from above!” she called out to her teammates, before taking aim with her shotgun and firing a beanbag at Acion, though he was still too far away for it to even hit. ‘Maybe it’d make him flinch’ was her thought process.

Roy took the position of kaboose, being in the back he could effectively the backside of the group. When Hitomi started looking around frantically it threw the boy off before he looked up with her.

A bit of shock and relief was on the boys face as he smirked, shock that Acion was their first target yet relief that it was someone who he had a lot of time studying.

The boy held his right for arm out and his trademark riot shield appeared. “A bean bag won't work on him. His manoeuvrability in the air is on another level, only a widespread attack will get the job done. Careful of his feather attacks” Roy said as he took defensive position in front of hitomi.

Even Ruby did not see that attack coming. When Hitomi started shouting out that there was someone coming from above, Ruby’s ears immediately perked upwards and she focused her gaze upon the sky, immediately pulling her sword from her back to hold it tightly with both hands in front of her. Her eyes had troubles focusing on the target at hand but when she finally managed to see him clearly it hit her.

“Don’t stop moving! We need to keep heading for the center. Roy, keep the shield up!” She shouted to the others while putting a hand on the shield as she ran in front of them, in case they would run too. Of course, touching the shield for the longest time possible was just preparation incase something extreme would be necessary. However, if they were to stop moving now, their whole plan would be stopped as they surely wouldn’t reach the center as the first ones. While touching the shield with her left hand, Ruby held up her sword with her right one and never stopped looking at the fast approaching entity in the sky. She was just praying that Roy’s shield would be enough to stop whatever the guy was planning from hitting any of them.

JoJo was alerted to the position of Acion the winged one performing a divebomb on the group because he was making a b-line towards the group she made the connection that he must be focusing pretty hard on them. With her enhanced movement, she looked around trying to desperately to piece together a way to get out of this situation, all of them involved leaving someone behind unless all four of them wanted to waste energy fighting a bird off. “Roy, when I give you the signal, create a flashbang and blind him, you’re gonna have to solo him until I get back” She explained rearing back shooting her body off in a direction grabbing both Ruby and Hitomi’s collars and dragging them with her at lighting speed “NOW!!” she screamed as the three of them disappeared behind a cloud of dirt she had kicked up sprinting as fast as she could manage shooting her body forward using the goggle shutter lens to help her navigate herself over and under obstacles that the girls could fit through.

The plan was to blind Acion and Roy was the key player, only problem was he had yet to make a flashbang. Shouldn't be too hard now right? The boy held out his free hand a small ball of energy raw energy formed in the young heroes hand, when the word flashbang came to thought the small memory of Mina's blinding light came to mind. Focus your energy to a single point. Soon the light began burning hotter and shining brighter. I think it is ready. Roy launched the ball into the sky, once it was above the forest the ball of energy expanded. Like a firework it illuminated the forest with a engrossing experience. Roy's helmet had a sun shades built into the visor as well as night vision, perfect for moments like these.

“Sorry bud but your not laying your hands on em that easily”

”Damn it...”

They noticed him way before he managed to deliver his payload.

As he zoomed closer and closer, he could notice the sheep girl was shooting him using a gun. The sight scared him a little, but he was moving at a speed of over 300 kilometers per hour. The chances that he could bullets at that speed would be astronomical. So he had to ignore any projectiles that may hit him.

Acion was heading in their opposite direction as he prepared to execute his trademark feather attack. But then, the girl with short dark hair suddenly grabbed the collar of two others, before bolting away at an unbelievable speed.

”Oh no you-”

He rotated his body to launch his feathers. But as he was only mere seconds away from launching, his vision was obscured by a sudden bright light. By pure instinct, hardened by intensive training, he initiated the feather launch anyway. The wings flapped with might, with power as he slammed dozens of feathers down where he perceive his targets were. Before he managed to hit the ground, his body rotated again, his wings soared to propel him upward.

When his vision was clear again, the three of them were already gone. Leaving behind a big cloud of dust, and a bunch of feather marks on the ground.

Acion quickly looped to chase his preys, but after a few moments, he realized that there was no way he could catch up with them. That was pretty unexpected…

”Not so entertaining now...” He said as he landed on top of a tree.

But did they leave Roy alone on purpose?

Would it be wise to engage him one on one here? If he got knocked out at this early stage of the game, it would be a total disaster, and an embarrassment. But if he managed to knock out Roy instead, it would be a huge ups to the game’s situation.

”Worth it…”

He is his adversary now.

It was now just Roy and Acion in the forest, he didn't expect for him to come alone and attack them as well. Did he underestimate group C? The winged man surely wouldn't have attacked any other group alone so why them. Roy released his riot shield and slowed his movement as he posted up behind a tree. The boy wanted to hide his presence from his adversaries, with that huge flashbang there is no telling who he attracted over to this forest.

This was surely an even matchup, with the forest on Roy's side he could surely make something happen if Acion decided to attack though his team's main form of defence will be gone. He waited to see what his friend now turned foe would do next.

Where is he now?

The winged man flew up in the air as he surveyed the area. Especially the area where he just attacked. It was packed with feathers, which was stuck firmly onto the dirt. The guy just disappeared...

Meanwhile, JoJo shot herself across the field from forest to actual concrete field, she carried the two women in a straight line kicking up all kinds of dirt and rocks creating what looked like a moving dust cloud. In all honestly, they must have attracted just about every team, but still, she didn’t slow down, if anything she only sped up until coming into full contact with the door leading inside the auditorium. Coming to a full stop and dropping her teammates just on the other side of the door allowing their stomachs to catch up with their bodies before beginning to explain what was happening to them and how they were going to play out into the rest of the plan.

“Look I’m sure both of you are pretty disoriented but I need you to get up and walk it off, this is the auditorium, I need both of you to barricade the entrances and form some kind of defences while I go and save Roy from being walked on,” JoJo explained walking around in a circle preparing her body for another run. “I’ll get to him faster than getting here which honestly wasn’t that bad but depending if I have to fight I might be a bit longer but keep this point defended” JoJo didn’t give them a real chance to talk back before bolting off again quite literally.

The moment, Hitomi was let go, she fell to the floor, all four limbs stiff and splayed like that of a fainting goat. Her face told that she was visibly shaken from that ordeal. This never happened in the Support Class. “I hope we never have to do that again!” She exclaimed, before looking up at Ruby from her comical position on the floor. “Ruby, Put any furniture you can find in front of the doors and then freeze them with your quirk. That should hold any invaders at least until I can get my limbs working again! Sometimes I think I’d be of more use if I was quirkless.”

Even Ruby, the one who would normally simply not care about what just happened, was quite shook by what just happened. She managed to land on her feet luckily, but her confused face now stared at the helpless girl in front of her. When JoJo explained her plan Ruby simply nodded to her to confirm and then stared down at Hitomi again. Admittedly, it did look kind of adorable and funny. Luckily for Ruby this was not the time to laugh and she didn’t even have to hold a laugh in, it was just too serious. “I’ll try.” With both of her hands she got some dust off of her cloak and then straightened her hair as good as it was possible with just her hands. “I wonder if the other teams know that we have just captured the point…” the girl said, mostly to herself. After all if a team were to arrive now it would surely become a dangerous situation, since two versus four did not sound pleasant at all for obvious reasons. “Why would I barricade the doors if I can just freeze the doors though?” she claimed as she continued by touching the closed entrance door with both of her hand for a few moments. “This is never gonna work… they can still burst through the walls. I do hope that JoJo hurries up…” Ruby just kept talking to herself, almost not realizing that Hitomi was still very much listening. “Let's just wait and see what happens…” While she was preparing everything, Ruby’s head was still kind of dazed by the transport to the center JoJo style. Truth be told, Ruby really did not like how the plan ended up. If they were to face another team now it would surely be over for them… right? Though Ruby knew, she still had some tricks up her sleeve that could buy them more than enough time. “Remember… for every second that we are in here alone, we gain valuable capture-time. As long as we have at least some we have a fair chance.”

Collab Ezra and Tomoe

Ezra got up from his sit down as the task begun. The girl was definitely different in this state, and he figured that Tomoe was not lying about this, so it didn't shock him that much but he still was a little creeped out by it. He was ready for the exercise to begin and so it did as his teammates departed apart from the new Tomoe, in which he had to take a second in order to think what to do. They needed to look for cover and he sat at the T intersection looking for something to do. The first thing he needed was to hide Tomoe's body, so that she couldn't be used as a potential hostage in the scenario.

He figured that he could go hide her in one of the nearby houses, so that was the first task he set himself to. Motioning for the other Tomoe to follow him, he picked up the sleepy ones body and walked to the nearest house, which was conveniently located nearby. He put her in the upstairs bedroom before going back out the stairs in a fairly short space of time and closing the door, making it look as if nothing had happened.

"Alright, other Tomoe. I memorized the map so I know where we want to go. We're gonna head right, then up to the higher road near the high school and establish a good position there. As far as I remember, there's a pretty good vantage point north of that, and that road seems to be the one connecting the area so maybe we can get something out of watching it. Follow me" he spoke as he began picking up a slow jog. He didn't want to tire himself out, but he'd have to hurry if he wanted to arrive there before another team given the importance of the location.

The two others of their team had left them to their own, Tomoe her double gave yet another sly wave at the two leaving as she calmly cheered her voice at them.

"Bai, bai."

Tomoe softly turned her head back towards Ezra as her body turned shortly after her head as well. Tomoe waited for Ezra to simply do anything. It did not appear that the girl was going to do anything else apart from being with Ezra right now.

Ezra picked up Tomoe her own body as the clone softly gazed at him and followed his steps as they walked through the forest. Tomoe was happily snoring in his arms as she was being brought to her hideout.

Tomoe was watching his every action as if she was gonna kill him if he hurted her or did anything bad to her original body at all. Ezra put her on one of the beds they had found and quickly left the room again, Tomoe gave a short sweet wave at herself before she strolled after Ezra out of the room.

Ezra tried speaking to Tomoe but she only gazed at his eyes without seeming fased with what he had just said at all. After he was done she gave yet another wave and spoke the same words again with a sly voice.

"Haaai."

She smirked at him as she grabbed hold of his hand gripping it tightly in affection towards him. As Ezra tried leading her the way he would find it somewhat difficult to pull himself away from her. She stood there for a moment trying to see what Ezra was trying to do before realising that he was trying to lead the way. Another short smirk appeared on her face before she softly walked after him not moving any faster at all.

Ezra would realise this was not going to win him the event, so he figured that the clone couldn't understand movement. He found it quite weird that it was grasping onto his hand, but given that the real Tomoe was all over him moments ago, he didn't let it bother him as he shook his hand away from her and began improving a slow jog to a slow run. He was definitely wanting to get to that point on time, and if he did, it'd give him a huge advantage. He could operate as a sniper instead of having to engage in physical combat, and that'd save him a lot of bruises and energy for later on. Figuring this, he motioned for her to follow quicker as he went back to speed.

Tomoe got Ezra caught for a moment in her slow pace. She herself didn't run and didn't like to run either so she mostly only used it when she really had to. Tomoe softly jogged after Ezra while he kept motioning to step up the pace. Tomoe kept going faster till he eventually stopped, she seemed more machine than man from the way she ran and dodged other obstacles. She could probably go even faster if she morphed her build but she wasn't as advanced as that yet.

They eventually reached their location, a higher up point in the forest where they could see the open sky above them. Tomoe looked up for a minute before looking back at Ezra. She smirked and jumped over towards him hugging his arm tightly. She vividly snuggled her head against his arm with a bright smile on her face. This had gone beyond the point of affection right now.

Given as they had reached their point, Ezra had crouched down the moment he reached it. An area near the intersection where both sides of the map met each other. He could tell from the stretch of road nearby, but, he didn't exactly feel right. That was probably because despite his best efforts, the Tomoe clone was all over him. And it was extremely weird because whilst he was definitely bothered by it, he was way too locked in to the exercise to care at this point. He sighed as she nuzzled his arm.

"Not now." he spoke, giving the clone a tap with the locked up hand. He knew it probably wouldn't free up contact but he was trying to express a sense of urgency as he looked at the road and surveyed it. No-one was coming yet, which allowed him to address the problem at hand, this clone. She was far too flirtatious, especially considering the matter at hand. He knew Tomoe was touchy freely but he never figured it was this bad.

Tomoe couldn't control any of this blatant snuggling and clinging to Ezra. If she wasted effort on trying even more she could maybe mess up if there was an incident with her clone. It wasn't so bad yet, her clone had done worse when she was out. If she were to describe it her clone would be quite sadistic if it wasn't about fighting.

The clone only began hugging tighter as her smirk grew wider. Well at least he wasn't being beat to pulp. If she did not have any relation to Ezra that might have happened so she was actually quite happy this way. Ezra was looking down at the street to see if there were people comming. He seemed quite focused on it so Tomoe would happen him by looking at the road and around them just as frequently as Ezra did.

A Duel of Amity

Storm Bird

VS

Solar Sentinel

He’s gone…

He shouldn’t be far away. He must have been hiding behind one of the trees.

But the problem was that Acion’s position was widely exposed. He was seen. If Roy could see him, while he could not see him back, he could easily stage an ambush against him. Not that he had anybody else to gang up on him, but he could surprisingly attack from somewhere. Anywhere

”Hey wait…”

What if he just let him do so? Deliberately so.

That was a good idea. He would even bait him into doing it as well.

Acion took off from the tree, as he zoomed down the trail where team C just headed. Passing the feather mark area a bit before making a loop downward facing the opposite direction. Now he was flying at ground level, only a few meters above the ground, heading straight for the point. He deduced that Roy couldn’t possibly headed back to his spawn point while his team was heading forward. He would want to catch up with them, so why that. So he must be somewhere along those trees that Acion was passing. And most likely he would attempt a hit on the winged man here.

’Just try it…’ Acion thought to himself.

It was Roy's turn to be on the assault, the boy claw soon grew incredibly large. He sunk his construct into the tree and began climbing up onto a large sturdy branch. “Alright Acion let's see what you'll do?” the boy’s construct changes from claws into a saw. He began cutting off the top of the tree to give away his position purposefully. The boy was confident he could repel any feather attack of Acions. Once the top of the tree fell Roy pushed up his helmet visor revealing his face.

“Hey bud” the boy said waving an arm, “didn't expect you to attack us so early!”

While on the flight, Acion could notice a tree top falling. He did flinch a bit, doing a spiral as it nearly fell on him. Then he flew up and hovered only meters above the tree top height, as his friend spoke.

”I saw you and your friends hanging out in the open.” Acion replied to the greeting. ”With three ladies. You have good taste. So I think I would give them a little introduction, but didn’t expect them to leave so urgently.”

Acion then glanced at Roy’s costume. A pretty scifi looking cloak, befitting of his power. Looks pretty good.

”So it’s just you and me…” He said as he began taking stances. ”Watch yourself, brother!”

And he flew up.

For starter, he simply flew up to a certain height, not as high as before though, then come diving down again. Again, the diving procedures and feather hailstorm.

Roy chuckled displays his acknowledgment of the boys attractive company.

“Yeah looks like I got lucky with some attractive, imagine if I was like Jett… but I'm sorry to say I can't lose to you here. They have a lot of faith in me so I can't let them down.” Roy flipped his visor back on,

“But if you want me to put in a good word, you know where to find me” the boy said as he jumped down from the tree. The battle had begun, Roy didn't want to take his eye off of Acion. Once the boy sent his onslaught of feathers Roy pulled out his shield held his position. As the feathers made contact with his shield they seemed to have gotten lodged in the construct and the surrounding area. The sound of splitting wood filled the forest. The boy smirked as he took the attack well. Acions attack made Roys rebuttal a whole lot easier to perform. Roy moved the shield from his face to survey the destruction. All around him was covered in feathers.

“Now it's my turn” Roy took made a fist with his free hand as he condensed the solar energy in his hand. With his right he picked up riot shield and slammed it into the rocky forest floor sending cracks traveling through the construct. With his free hand he sent a concussive blast at the broken shield sending construct shards and feathers back at his attacker as a widespread attack. It was merely a copy of Acions attack yet with a touch of the sunny boy’s magic.

Acion looked away for a moment as he climbed back up. He managed to reach to the previous height, and was doing a turn as he noticed Roy’s counter attack: a spread of broken golden pieces in different shapes and sizes coming at him. However, it was noticeably slower than his own feather attack.

It was fairly similar to how Acion’s attack. And he knew the nature of such move. Dodging would be difficult since there were so many, and each projectiles were small. Similarly to how Roy just countered his attack, he quickly exerted his muscle groups to turn his body facing Roy’s projectile, in mid-air. There, his six wings immediately pulled over to block all the projectiles that may hit him. They were sharp just like his feathers, some of which was his own medicine as well, but since it was blasted at a lower velocity, it simply didn’t have the strength that it supposedly did to the trees and ground like how Acion’s feathers did. All of them slammed into his wings and then fell off. None managed to lodge into his wings. But it was pretty powerful. His wings were still tingling after the attack.

His initial momentum propel him in an arch. At the latter end of the arch, the gravity was gradually pulling him down to the ground. But before it managed to do it, he rotated his body again, his wings spread proud and might again. The air flow elegantly stopped his fall just a meter above a tree. And his wings flapped powerfully, accelerating him towards Roy, creating one beautifully drawn flight trajectory.

”Nice one friend. But how will you deal with this?”

Acion was flying horizontally above the ground, fast enough so that when he stops using his wings, he can still maintain the horizontal path for a few seconds. Then, he did another feather rain, but this time not from above, but right ahead of him. One flap, from his left wing, one from his right, creating a wave of feathers coming at him. Just seconds after launching his feathers, when gravity was pulling him downward, he slammed his right leg onto the ground, as propulsion, jumping him into the air, above Roy. There, he would repeat the procedure and send feathers down his way.

Now it felt as if his friend was playing around, like this was a test to see the boys capabilities, Acion sent another flurry of feathers from two directions. Roys eyes quickly shifted direction to direction, he slid his legs arms length apart and squated hold his arms out and cuffing his heads. Straining his muscles the boy created a 360 degree barrier around himself, it was hard to tell if this was the same kid from yesterday. His costume allowed for him to perform at a much higher level, as the feathers lodged into the boys barrier it sounded like a hammer hitting steel. All around the boy’s barrier there was not a place the feathers didn’t hit.

“Come on Acion, fight me for real” the boy said releasing the barrier, he was breathing heavily a bit after that showing but he wasn’t done yet. Roy got on all fours sliding his left foot back before gathering energy under all his limbs. He pushed off the ground with a concussive blast kicking up dirt and rocks as he flew through the branches reaching the forest roof. The boy stopped on a branch high up before taking another energized leap shooting himself above the forest with a clear view at the avian man.

The boy held out of fingertips and fired a barrage of pea sized energy shots, it was almost like Roy was shooting a machine gun with how many blasts he got out. Let the battle fever come to you, relax.

Acion was flying up when he noticed a barrage of energy fire coming from below. He immediately spun around his longitudinal axis a few times to dodge the incoming fire. It worked at first, initially, but the bullets soon catch up with his position. And finally.

”Urgh!”

He was hit.

It wasn’t something serious though. One or maybe two of those energy bolts crashed onto Acion’s middle left wings. This time, the power of the bolts were way more powerful than the previous attack, as it nearly pierced to the other side of his wings. The pain suddenly received rushed up to the winged man’s mind, but he didn’t mind such things. This was nothing.

He stopped flying and hovered nearby.

”So you want me to unleash my true power, eh?”

The avian fighter began rolling up his left glove to only below his wrist. And then finally he ripped off one feathers, holding it firmly in that left hand, in reverse grip.

Then he charged. Close quarter combat time.

He bolted into him, the sharp feather in hand, slicing whatever is in the path of such blades. After clashing away from him, he made a quick and sharp turn backward, zooming at Roy again.

And again.

And again.

A few times like that before he stopped the attack, slowed down and rolled up the other glove, as he looked at Roy, issuing a challenge.

Acion took advantage of Roys positioning in the air knowing that he was unable to dodge,

“Damn” he said as Acion began his flurry in close combat with his feather, the boy hadn’t seen this coming. He didn’t think his foe would come into close combat. As gravity took its toll, Roy came crashing down into the forest breaking a thick piece of tree branch as he fell to the forest floor, grunting as he made impact with the large chunk of wood all while Acion continued his flurry. Instinctively the boy tried to halt his fall by digging his claws into the tree he fell next too. Having to make a decision whether to hit the ground hard or take his foes strikes he made his choice quickly. The boy clung to the wood sinking his claws into it, as the feather ripped into his costume most notably the hood and his forearms.

There was a large slash traveling from his wrist up to his shoulder oozing with the crimson liquid. The boy was to pumped on adrenaline to realize all the damage he sustained. Letting go and making contact with the ground once more Roy kneeled a bit to collect his nerves. He looking up at Acion as he hovered in front of him awaiting his next move.

“Alright then” he said as he placed his palms on the ground, the lights on his costume burned a bright yellow as the boy fired off two blasts into dirt kicking up a storm of dirt, branches, and rocks. He planned on obstructing the boys view and taking advantage of his foes lack of headgear.Sliding his feet back once again in the same stance, Roy was beginning to perform Kenichi’s Jet hunting attack. As the balls of his feet left the ground he shot off a burst of energy from his heels, he may not have been able to move in a blur like Kenichi but it was quick enough to notice a significant increase in the boys speed. Cocking his fist back Roy planned on a empowered strike to the core followed up by a point blank blast of energy. He had a grin on his face as he performed his attack, showing his enjoyment of the battle between his friend. There was no ill will or any deep seated feelings behind this fight.

Just two kids chasing their dreams

”Oh dear…”

Acion hastily set up shields using his wings, as Roy slammed into him, the force in motion being transferred to Acion as fresh as it was: incredibly powerful. It was so powerful that he sent the flying man literally flying. He had to spread his wings wide, perpendicular to the direction he was going to stop.

For some reasons, his stomach hurt.

How? He was hit in the wings.

The real truth was that he was hit in the wings, but the momentum was so powerful that it transferred to his entire torso as well.

Despite knowing that he should not underestimate people, Acion was quite surprised at his friend’s capability, comparing to his performance yesterday. But still, this was a hero course after all. A place full of beautiful tales of people chasing their ambitions. And this was nothing more than a friendly clash of life path that served to bolster it.

Despite the pain, a smirk appeared on Acion’s face.

And he charged down once again. Like how many times he did before.

He delivered yet another hailstorm. But instead of pulling up, he immediately went for it, his legs straight for a flying kick diagonally down his way.

The boy slammed into his wings with a lot more force than expecting knocking the winged foe briefly off balance. Roy cocked both his arms back straining his body and pushing his limits, the lights on his costume began blaring brightly. Soon an aura of golden energy began leaking from the boys body.

“I’m doing this out of respect!” he said as he pushed both hids hands out, the aura from his body began moving in the direction of his hands before a dense ball of energy came into view. It looked as if he was pulling another flashbang but this attack was different, the color of the ball was an bright orange color. There was a significant amount on energy put into this attack meaning this was most likely going to be the boys last. He kept an eye on Acions movements as he flew into the sky and returned with another bombardment of feathers but this time Acion had gone past the point of return. Roy’s high energy attack began kicking up dirt and rocks as he collected his energy. The boy was confident in his victory once he came close into view. He discharged his attack on his foe, the recoil sending him sinking into the earth and off balance slightly.

Roy wasn’t counting on a direct hit, he was banking on the after effect of the blast. After traveling some feet it would expand covering a 10 yard radius of destructive energy. Roy immediately took a kneel clenching his chest, his heart rate sight picked up greatly as well as is breathing

Oh shit!

’Disengage! Disengage!’ He told himself.

But it was already late.

Although he managed to dish out his feather bombardment, his flying kick was immediately countered by a huge ball of energy. Orange in color, this looked nothing like the previous attacks.

His kick smashed into the ball, the red hot energy quickly spread through the boot he was wearing, and into his feet. He could feel the blood in his leg boiling. But his momentum was not enough to reverse such power, as he was pushed back, and the ball sent him into the air again.

He could feel the heat, the potential energy inside the ball. And he was sure if he stayed still any, ANY, longer, he would get obliterated by it.

”There’s no way I’m gonna get knocked out here. Ha!”

Everything seemed to be going in slow motion to him.

His other feet also slammed onto the red hot energy ball, as he did a jump away from the energy orb, just mere seconds away before the ball explode into a huge radius of destructive energy. The jump was powerful, but the blast was slightly faster than him, as it was capable of catching up with him. His right wing’s end was being blasted away. He could feel it. The moment his muscles, his feathers and part of his skeletal figure of his wings being dislocated, or in this case obliterated, from their position forcefully.

He was literally holding his breath during the whole ordeal.

But thankfully, the explosion ended after it blasted away half his right wings. The shockwave continued sending him into the air, but at least that was the only damage he sustained.

Acion span his body so that he was in his usual flying position again. But this time, it didn’t feel right. Half his wings were already gone. His entire structure was disbalanced. Flying was a lot lot more difficult now. However, this wasn’t impossible. Knowing that he wouldn’t be able to sustain flight long, he glided instead. His body exerting its muscles to keep his body stable in the air, despite the loss of his wings. He was slow and vulnerable, yes. But still, he avoided the fate of crashing face down to the ground. He could just hope that nobody would be there to finish him off.

Thankfully, he did not suffer that fate. He glided out of the forest and onto the ground to the nearby east. There, he made a touchdown. Not so gracefully, but safely.

”Now that was dangerous.”

He could risk getting knocked out right here.

But due to his skills, or maybe some luck, he managed not to. His objective was completed. Team C was pretty disorganized at the moment, and he was pretty sure that Roy took some damage to himself during the fight as well.

The winged man then concentrated. His adrenaline rushed high, as the composite in his wings began to re-materialize. It was hard to explain how this happened, but this was one special trait to his capability. His eyes furrowed as he pushed on. And then the wings suddenly grew back. The feathers back just as new.

But that costed him some strength. Sweats broke out from his temples and forehead.

”I guess I will leave you to someone else then.”

He is one good fighter. Managing to catch Acion off-guard is not an easy task.

”See you later friend.”

He mumbled, despite knowing that his friend wouldn’t be there to hear it.

And then, with his new wings, he soared through the sky once again. Team C should be there at the moment now. He should report that to his teammates, wherever they are at the moment.

”Guys?” He clicked his comm link. ”Most of team C are at the point right now. Where are you now?”

Roy was not getting out of this scab free, the feathers that Acion launched prior had found their way into the boys right shoulder. Taking a few shaky steps, the young hero posted himself up against a tree in order to stop from keeling over. He was breathing even heavier as the pain from the feathers began racing through his body.

“Damn, if someone was to come right now I don’t know exactly what would happen” he looked up as the huge explosion hit Acion and illuminated the forest as the large explosion roared across the battlefield. Pressing the button on the communications come with his operational arm Roy signaled over to his teammates.

“Guys I am fine, a little banged up but I will be good to go just need to recharge my reserves” he said as he slid down the tree and took a seat on the forest ground. Roy took off his helmet putting it to the side and taking a deep breath of air. The boy was drenched in sweat and his hair was messy and clumped together. Acion was surely a fitting rival, the only possible reason he came out on top was that the setting played in is favor. He looked up to the sky continuing to take in deep breaths. The breeze hit face nicely in his position as well as the sun. Slowly but surely he was feeling a bit revitalized as he absorbed the sunlight and restored his energy reserves. That final attack on Acion took half of his energy reserves to perform. Currently he was working with 15% capacity, just enough to possibly escape a foe if he plays his cards right.

Over the river and through the woods JoJo sprinted as fast as she could in all honesty she would have gotten there much sooner if the fight between Acion and Roy hadn’t moved itself, but thanks to her goggles she could actively tell the path they took in their fight. Following the pseudo trail of destruction, she could tell she was getting closer so in order to speed up to extract him or help take down the winged one Joann began catapulting herself from one tree to another only kicking it into overdrive when she heard the explosions roar throughout the forest.

“Oh bother” JoJo thought to herself, if Acion was still fighting, they were going to have a lot of attention meaning she had better get a move on. Thankfully, she found the epicenter of the explosion and soon after hearing Roy’s transmission from that it wasn’t long at all until she found him physically leaning against a tree looking banged up. The girl didn’t give him the chance to finish his sentence or even warn him that he was about to receive the roughest transportation of his life she just grabbed him but the collar and bucked off to the point.

Amane Kishimoto

The communicators the team were holding suddenly came to life, with the teacher’s voice announcing the start of the activity. Hatori took a few deep breaths as Fumika explained her Quirk in greater detail; apparently, Fumika’s Quirk had a limited range, and somehow she had used that ability in the activity the class had yesterday. As she went down a lengthy explanation, Hatori had already gotten down the basic functions of her Quirk already. Basically, Fumika was like a camcorder; she could visually record her surroundings and as long as the images were in her memory, she could also physically reproduce it. It made her wonder – if Fumika’s Quirk was recording and replicating stuff, what was her actual limit? Most Quirks had a limit, whether it was physical or mental, that kept it from being overused. Even Hatori would eventually get exhausted if she used more than a few hundred planes.

”I won’t completely put your Playback ability out of the picture yet. It can still come into use, when they least expect it. Like, maybe they think that one thing’s your recorded images, get them into a false sense of security, and then you surprise attack them with something else!” Hatori realized how incredibly vague her example was after it came out of her mouth, but she was mentioning this from experience – sometimes, you just have to get more creative with your Quirk. She didn’t want to blather about this any longer.

She then turned to Takeshi. ”Well, I can do anything normally as long as I’m not in spy-plane mode, otherwise my physical body would be rendered blind,” Hatori answered. ”Walking might be a bit difficult in that case, since I’ll need to control both my physical body and my planes. Needless to say, multitasking like that is disorienting. I need a place to hide or you have to somehow cover me while I’m using it so I’m not vulnerable.”

Fumika hadn’t said much after her earlier spurt of talkativeness. In particular, the moment Amane had exerted his aura, she’d seemed to tense up for a moment, and after his injunction not to get in the way, she certainly seemed hesitant to interject anything that might serve the contrary purpose. Nevertheless, when prompted by Takeshi’s question, she did manage a quiet answer, although her murmured response was difficult to hear through her high collar. “Moving is… no problem.”

Hatori rolled her eyes at Amane’s comment, which was not only vague but also somewhat condescending. It was almost like they didn’t deserve to know about him, and normally that would have ticked her off, but for now, she was willing to hold off her emotions to finish this activity. She heard a few names that were familiar to her from Takeshi’s descriptions, namely Jett and Dulga. Apparently, Jett could teleport, and was related to the Valkryies. She knew about them – they were a group of heroes that resided in Japan, but were even greater celebrities in the United States. And his gramps was the Frenchman… Damn, Jett’s in a family of big shot heroes. I mean, he’s a Haven, but I never knew he was part of that Haven family… There was also Dulga, the girl she met last night with the mask. Takeshi mentioned something about her having six arms, immense strength, and skilled at marksmanship. And that big masked girl is a six-armed sniper?

Hatori also heard about Roy and “JoJo”, and she also remembered that winged boy, who could try to contest her air dominance. By the time Takeshi had finished speaking, Hatori looked up and saw that same winged boy zipping across the sky. So he’ll be a problem...I’ll need to deal with him. She thrusted her arms out and palms up; within a second, several sheets of paper came out from the dispensers in her sleeves, and she swiftly pressed together the creased lines to form several dart planes, ready to be thrown.

Takeshi glanced at Hatori when she explained her use of spy planes. He thought for a second but before he could say anything, Hatori readied a few planes after checking the sky. He had only caught a glimpse of him, but sure enough Acion had flown by. However he seemed targeted in someone else. “He is focused on someone else; he probably won't survive a four versus one fight. Lets save time and move to the point of contention. If you need, you can hold onto me while you use your spy planes. It’s essential we keep moving. I’ll guide you and protect you during that time.” he said, looking back to Hatori.

“We’re going in already?” Fumika seemed surprised, but didn’t question Takeshi’s decision any further, evidently accepting that they were just going to go with Amane’s proposed change in strategy and advance in his wake, rather than waiting things out as planned. “Alright… Understood. Starting Recording.” As she spoke, a single strand of her bangs that had previously been drooping across the bridge of her nose slowly straightened itself until it stood bolt upright, seeming to wobble just a little bit back and forth as if it was a receiver dish rotating in search of a signal. There was a faint static crackle that rushed down from her head to the very end of her incredibly long hair, the braid at the end of it beginning to unravel and curl upward as a crimson bar worked its way around the crown of her head, with a single dot of scarlet radiance manifesting itself above her left temple. At the same time, a matching glow flashed from under her visor, forming an indistinct red light that radiated in front of her face through the opaque glass, like a single red mono-eye.

“No enemies within range. So, then... Umm… Be careful, Mr. Samurai.” The girl reported quietly before returning to her usual silence.

Amane simply kept to himself and moved forward. It seemed as though the other people on his team were not as useless as he thought they would be. They were fully able to take care of the annoying work of finding a foe. “Alright then,” he said before advancing forward. Amane decided to cut straight through, towards the point of interest instead of taking the main road to the north. The path he was taking was sure to be full of obstacles and even the unknown.

Mr.Yoshida smiled as he picked up the microphone inside the command quarters. He was linked in with all of the teams communication systems and could hear everything they were saying as well as track their whereabouts. “Seems like you are up. Team D should be making their way towards you location. You are free to engage but dont rough them up too badly alright?” he spoke into the microphone.

The man on the other side of the microphone smiled as he replied to L guardian. “Alright...I will give them a taste of the real world,” the man's voice was deep and scraggly, almost as if he had succumbed to the effects of smoking cigarettes. He laid still in patience, perfectly blended into the lake. It was difficult to see him through regular means, but surely one of the team members from group D would pick up on the mysterious entity in the water.

“Don’t worry about holding back too much; this group has contains young and talented heroes. Give them a nice welcoming party if you don’t mind.”

“Aye, I know exactly what you mean,” the man replied, moving closer to the shore right within the range of team D’s superior detection skills. It was time to test the prowess of this super team.

Hatori glanced at Takeshi as he spoke, throwing the planes as he finished speaking. She was unsure of following this student she never knew of, especially since his first impressions weren’t exactly positive, but chances are that if they didn’t follow him, he would have gone on his own anyways and compromised their plans. The planes she just threw promptly hovered in the air and started to circle the group. ”Alright, we’ll deal with bird boy later while he’s busy with another team. And um...yeah, I can hold onto you once I have the ability active,” she replied reluctantly. She was not too comfortable with grabbing onto another guy, even if it was for non-intimate reasons. There was no need to waste energy on her spyplane ability until they were near the point; Fumika’s Recording ability should suffice.

And off they went. Amane seems to be taking them directly towards the point. They were traversing through some narrower community roads and a bit of forestland. But, just as they began passing around the edge of a small lake, Fumika abruptly froze in place, that single strand of hair atop her head wobbling violently and then jabbing towards the edge of the water. The crimson glow under her visor flashed ever brighter, and then…

“Over there! Someone’s coming from under the water!” She exclaimed abruptly, gesticulating forcefully as she tried to get her team’s attention before the ambush she expected. “But it’s strange… he’s really big, like the cloak-girl, but he’s definitely not her. He’s all scaly and slimy… I’ve never seen this person before, so why is he here? If he’s here, doesn’t that make him an enemy?”

She began glancing around in momentary confusion, as if to verify some suspicion, then stared back at the waterfront. “He’s all alone, too, but he’s still coming this way… Shouldn’t he know that there’s four of us? Why’s he attacking alone?” Hatori stopped in her tracks, turning towards the lake once Fumika alerted the group to a potential enemy. Her paper planes turned accordingly. ”No way one of the students already noticed us. And he’s coming towards us. Either he’s exceptionally brave or exceptionally stupid, she thought.

Looks like the cover was blown on the crocodile in the water. With a toothy grin a large scaly creature rose from the water on his hind legs, his scales shown a dark green almost like a dirty emerald color. The lake water flowed quickly his body as he stared at the unlucky bunch. He was about as big as Amane suited up in his knights armor. You could see how battle worn the man was from all the cuts and scrapes he had on his scales.

“Aye lads...you have some bad luck rolling me as your opponent,” Master Croc, a man with a mutation quirk giving him the physiology of a crocodile. The title "Master" was fitting; he was a master of multiple fighting styles, from Brazilian jiu-jitsu to Muay Thai...he even throws some wrestling into the mix. The man let out an ear splitting yawn that shook the land.

“Agh. I waited long enough.” The croc took a neutral stance as he exited the lake. His beady eyes looked left to right surveying the group. In just two steps he was directly in front of Takeshi preparing a for a chop right to his neck. He held back a bit with the speed so it was just right for the boy to dodge if he managed to react in time.

Takeshi narrowed his eyes when Fumika mentioned the incoming enemy. “Yes it does, Motome-san…” He lifted his sword, only a inch or two from it’s lowered state. The man who came out was Master Croc. He had heard of him before, and knew getting into a hand to hand combat with him would be idiotic, as Takeshi himself was far from a master in martial arts, let alone six different types. He wasn’t afraid though, this knowledge only raised his cautiousness.

Master Croc didn’t wait long until he attacked. It was clear he was holding back because of his role, and that was his first mistake. He raised his blade up and ducked his head just enough for Master croc’s arm to slide along his blade, not really deflecting the man’s arm from its original target. He didn’t expect his sword to cut through his scales and as soon as he knew the arm had passed over he flicked his wrist and struck with all his speed at the masters head with the flat part of his blade, twisting at just the last moment so he didn’t cut him.

There was a patter of booted feet scrambling across the pavement behind him. That spot, only about three feet back and to his right…that was where Fumika had been standing, right? A wordless battle-cry confirmed his suspicions. The next instant, she came rushing into view from the side, faintly glowing silver-gold hair trailing behind her like the tail of a comet, planting her left foot firmly beneath her and bringing up her right leg in a spinning high kick aimed at Master Croc’s solar plexus. While it might have seemed reckless given his advantage of both skill and physical power, with one of his arms overextended from his earlier blow, and the other likely occupied in redirecting the significantly more threatening sword strike away from his head, their reptilian adversary couldn’t afford to launch any significant counterattack against her without overextending himself. Even if he batted her kick aside, she could simply complete her pivot, regain her footing, and disengage while Takeshi himself pressed the attack. On the other hand, he’d be forced to either take the blow head-on while dealing with Takeshi’s sword attack, or to disengage completely, giving them a little distance and allowing them to press the offensive.

The hell? Within seconds, the group was attacked by this crocodile guy; he was way too mature, judging by his deeper tone and larger frame, which was much like Dulga’s, but Dulga’s physique lacked the physical development of an adult’s. It took a moment to realize that this crocodile person was possibly Master Croc – she barely knew about him, only that he was a pro hero. What was he doing here? And what did he mean “rolling him as an opponent”? Was the team meant to fight him by random chance?

With Takeshi and Fumika in the way, Hatori was a bit frustrated that she couldn’t get a clear shot of him from the front without accidentally hitting them as well. Her planes were forced to go around towards the pro hero’s back, though she wasn’t going to shoot him just yet. ”Get out of the way, crocs!” she exclaimed, sliding out another small stack of paper from her left arm. ”We’ve got an objective and other teams to dealt with, we don’t have time to deal with you!”

With a smile Master Croc surveyed the attacks as they were quick to combine their attacks to get the jump on the pro but he was already prepared for this. The man opened his gaping maw and caught Takeshi’s sword with his sharp teeth. The man then whipped his head left with enough force to take the boy off his feet. With his super senses he could feel the heat of another attacker from behind. Instinctively, he turned his back to the girl so that her kick would land on the more protective side of his scales while swinging his tail into the samurai boy with enough force to send him sliding against the ground.

As the boot of the girl struck the mans scales he jolted his body a bit forward. He actually felt that one surprisingly, it was like he got hit with a boot full of lead. With a smirk he turned back to a neutral stance giving a toothy grin. So far the two pups who attacked him weren't that bad, but they still had a lot more to prove.

Takeshi didn’t think that slight of a twist would be enough time for Croc to react, and clearly he was wrong as his sword was caught in the pro’s teeth. He tried to pull it from his hands, and he resisted but it was just a feint for using his tail to slam into him and send him sliding backwards on his back. Before he came to a stop he curved his back so his feet would come up and cause him to flip over. His feet caught the ground as he whipped his head up so he didn’t hurt his neck and slid to a stop.

“Aye lad, I am a master in close combat. If you think your going to beat me without attacking me like I am a villain, you’re not getting past me. I know you're capable of it, and I can see it in your eyes,” the pro then shifted his into a bent over Brazilian jiu-jitsu stance. The man then turned to the small pilot girl saying that they have an objective and other teams to beat which made the Croc roar in laughter. He then pointed his sharp thumb at himself before lecturing the group. “You have bigger things to worry about, you'll have to get past me if you want to get back in the game...now tell me why exactly you all want to become heroes. I'll take verbal explanations,” The man then twisted his head looking at the samurai, the knight, and the blonde girl who had just kicked him, rubbing away the pain. Surely he would have to pay her back for what she did.

“Or if you want to show me why with your fighting spirit. I'll be happy to evaluate,” the man said as he took a large leap through the air as he went for an axe kick on the small pilot. Though this was merely a feint, he had enough force to crack the ground.

Fumika hopped backward, swiftly pivoting to regain her footing and then disengaging as quickly as possible. Her brows furrowed in what might have been a grimace. Even though she’d connected directly with her full strength, it didn’t seem like she’d done more than cause their unexpected enemy a minor inconvenience. She began to circle to one side at the edge of Master Croc’s periphery, slowly moving closer to Takeshi to get back behind him without leaving herself open to attack.

Hatori grumbled as the pro hero easily shook off Fumi and Takeshi’s barrage. He had taken a hit from Fumika’s shoes, but it barely seemed to injure him. Unless she concentrated fire onto some part of his body, there was no way her dart planes would be able to penetrate his protective scales, though there were a few spots she could target... ”This is real annoying...guess I have no choice, right?” she muttered, with another small stack of paper sliding out onto her right arm as well, this one a bit different than her other stack – it was construction paper, which was heavier and thicker than normal. The stronger the material, the more hard-hitting it was going to be.

She stared at Master Croc, her face turned stern. ”This world is filled with people with problems, problems that they can’t just solve by themselves. I’ve seen both sides of the coin and I much rather be the one that solves those problems than lash them out onto others,” she replies, glancing at him. ”But I’m not getting into any long winded speeches, and I’m not going to continue hearing you lecture. I’m just going to beat you down.”

Takeshi’s eyes narrowed at the mans comment about seeing villainous intent in his eyes. That’s the last thing he wanted, and this irked him to wanting to prove him more wrong. Takeshi didn’t have an issue with cutting his opponents, as he had enough training to know where to cut without killing them. He then went on talking to Chiwa, but jumped up to attack her. Reaching out to Hatori, he closed his hand slightly, only his forefinger and middle finger sticking father out, twisting his hand he pulled his arm up and across his body at a forty five degree angle upward.

As he did this, the dark shadow that was behind Hatori suddenly pooled together instantly in four points and shot upward at Master Croc, hitting the man in four spots – two at his shoulder joints, and another two on the top of his legs next to his pelvis – stopping him in the air. “HATORI-SAN, FALL BACK!” He said quickly as he stood up, preparing to attack, but making sure he held it long enough for her to get away.

Master Croc tried to do a flying kick onto her; thankfully, she was quick enough to dodge the attack; as Hatori was stepping back, she rapidly folded and threw her planes. They immediately fired a hail of paper projectiles towards the crocodile hero, controlling her fire enough to not hit Takeshi behind him or Fumika nearby. Here she demonstrated some of her skill; she was backing up to increase distances between her and the pro hero, and was already preparing more paper planes – more complex fighters to support the weaker dart planes. She circled around opposite to Takeshi so she could get a clear shot, and soon noticed that Amane had yet to take action. ”Care if you help, noble knight?” she shouted derisively.

Amane had been off to the side watching the whole battle go down; he wanted to evaluate how the others would do precisely, and Master Croc provided him a nice display. Though they never seemed to have worked together, they were fairly in sync with their attacks. The boy reached for the bar on his hip and pulled out his retractable staff. With one hand, he twirled it around until it was full length before giving a couple of swings and loosening the muscles in his right arm.

Raising his left hand, he opened his palm and soon a black orb appeared from thin air, laying harmlessly in his hand before floating up and circling around the knight’s body. He was sure he could deliver a decisive blow with his black hole if it made direct contact, and had a clear shot since the foe’s position was fixated due to Takeshi's shadow. He held the staff with poise and a strong grip, as if the rod was an extension of the boy himself. Amane took a leap from the ground, moving rather quickly for someone in a full body armor. The boy demonstrated his athletic ability in front of his team as he grabbed and vaulted on each of the shadow pillars the samurai made, deflecting the projectile fire from the pilot until he reached the top in which he thrusted the tip of the staff into Master Crocs chest, delivering a solid bow and knocking him free into the air. Amane could feel the toughness of the pro hero’s scales as he drove the staff into his core. He then leapt from the top of the shadow, twirling his staff in a circle to gain momentum; while doing so, the same purple aura from earlier enveloped the knight, making his armor appear a slight pink as he altered his own gravity to empower his next strike. The boy then gripped the rod by the lower half and slammed it into the man's collarbone, forcing the two to crash towards the earth. Large portions of dirt was kicked up around the group upon making impact. He was slightly shorter in height compared to the others, mainly due to the large hole he had made in the ground. Though something felt...off? He felt his staff was rather shaky, as if someone was grabbing it.

The pro smiled as the samurai made use of his aerial position; acting quickly, he halted the pro hero’s assault and created an opening for his teammates to strike. Excellent. These kids are smarter than they look. His quiet appraisal for the group ended when the small girl remarked. She had a bit of venom in her tone, but clearly had some fire in her heart. She surely wanted to make a difference, and displayed some of her resolve by recklessly trash-talking the pro. When she said she was going to beat the man down he couldn’t help but laugh hysterically.

”Hoho, you’re going to beat me down?” That was when the man saw her pull out a stack of...construction paper? He soon figured out what the girl had planned, as it soon turned into paper planes that were like miniature fighter jets. They came to life and were soon shooting small bullets into the crocs back which felt like a bunch of mosquito bites, giving the man a killer itch. At this moment was when the knight made his move without hesitation. The man’s underside was clearly open and extended, his eyes followed precisely as the boy darted from pillar, maneuvered his way past the plane fire, and struck at his core. In the split second before he hit the croc moved adjusted himself so the blow wasn’t as damaging and flexed his pectorals. He ensured that the strike would hit his upper chest and knock the man off his crucifix.
The croc was soon on a one way ticket down to the floor but he noticed the boy was not finished yet. Predicted that the boy would most likely follow up with a overhead smash once he hit the ground though his calculations was slight off.

He didn’t take into account who this boy was related to and what his quirk was, the knight came much much faster and powerful than expected. Holding out his left hand in a split second he grabbed onto the staff before it could make contact with his collarbone stopping the powerful attack. The two crashed into the ground with Amane looming over him. Holding his staff the man gave a small smirk.

“Oi, I am going to feel that in the morning...” the impact was much stronger than an average fall, comparable to falling from a height of thirty feet, much preferred over a collarbone strike. The Crocodile gripped the staff ferociously stopping all momentum and showing the clear difference in raw strength. With his left hand he thrusted the staff away from him shoving the boy into the air. The man rose from his feet, groaning a bit and shaking the dirt off his scales. He placed his hand on his afflicted back, trying to ease the pain.

“I know that Quirk from anywhere...you’re related to the Gravity Yarl? I heard of the kid who was going to be the next Gravity Yarl. They even nicknamed you Yasunari Jr,” the man said with a gleam of fire in his eyes; Amane’s secret was out now on how he was related to the principal. “He’s trained you well, no doubt about that, but…” The man then fell into a Shaolin horse stance, his feet spread farther than his shoulder length and his knees bent as he sat his body down. His right arm was outward and he made a sturdy fist that was dead still in the air as if it was isolated in ice. His presence was different, like he was ready to go into the kill.

"It is ten years too early for all of you to challenge me!”
