The length of the CS is way too long from the powers down to the Bio that isn't so BRIEF. It was all caps for a reason LOL

Respectfully I wish you luck in your RP endeavors and I hope this RP goes well for you. I’ll be taking my leave because it doesn’t seem that you’re the type who respects the effort your members actually put into the game.
effort and accessibility of a CS are two sides of the same coin. Don't let your creativity run rampant at the cost of no one being able to quickly review who you're supposed to be.

I'm afraid I'm going to be dropping my interest as well, as while my character sheet wasn't going to be as detailed as Angel's, it wasn't going to be brief either, and I'm not going to give a half-assed sheet lacking important details for the sake of briefness.
Good luck with the rp though, and I hope it succeeds, because it sounds like a super interesting concept =^.^=
Social Class – changeable depending on the circumstances; lives in Midtown, mostly works in Downtown, occasionally in Uptown.
Alignment – Usually a villain
Archetype - Mutant
Powers – Energy absorbsion: if Elisabeth were to take damage from any physical form (punches, fire, explosions, trains), she instead absorbs this energy to empower herself, though it wears out over time rather quickly. I realized on the walk home that this is basically the same concept as Zarya from Overwatch :V
This energy gain manifests physically as she gains in power, starting out with a bit of a blue glow around her hands, then moving next to her eyes, then covering her entire body in a bright blue glow.
-At its most basic form, this ability makes her strong. Ever so strong. The more power she takes in, the more she can dish out. Power wise, if she gets hit with the force of a train, she can then punch with the force of a train, and lift with that force. Relatively simple.
- She can also channel this energy into blasts, more quickly draining from her pool but giving her a nice ranged option; she can keep doing this even if not powered up, but it will begin to hurt after a while and will eventually kill herself with it.
-it is worth considering that she is able to pump up her abilities in a variety of ways: from over-eating to slashing her wrists repeatedly with a razor to jumping off of a building.
Skills – the basic things you’d expect from a capable adult of her age. Also Muay thai, Judo, mountain climbing, and the Bassoon.
Weaknesses –
-love of combat: fighting is fun, and a good way to get an energy high. While not dumb enough to make a scene out of costume, Elisabeth does strive to be in costume as often as she can – it is her job at this point, anyway.
-constant hunger: Force’s powers give her a constant need to eat, and take damage to sate her hunger (think your stereotypical hungry teenager, on steroids). High energy is also rather addictive, and if she is low for long enough she will start to go through withdrawal.
-Hubris: Being functionally invincible most of the time doesn’t do wonders for your caution, and Elisabeth was already pretty damned confident. Expect her to easily fall victim to tricks, traps, “dishonorable” fighting, and mental effects (as well as anything else that doesn’t deal direct physical damage)
-impenetrable: her powers have their downsides - she can't have surgiries performed on her, can't get tatoos, etc.. This may or may not be much of a barrier for her, tbh.
Arch Enemy – I am the villain department! (Ghost and Power Man seem like they’d be a lot of fun to fight – Force would love the physical challenge of Power Man, and Ghost is everything that she doesn’t like in an opponent: wily, confusing, and ever changing. Starting there would probably be good?)
Appearance – Elisabeth is mostly unassuming, coming in at 5’5” and 133 lbs. she’s ripped though; full body in great shape: clearly trains a lot. Her features are small – mouth, ears and nose are all, for lack of a better word, cute. Her hair is short: shaven close on the sides with a bit of pomade keeping the front swept to the left (or spikey and pointing right when in costume). Keeps it brown to keep herself less identifiable, but would totally color it red if she could. Conforms to most female beauty standards – shaven legs and armpits, does some basic makeup, etc.. large mole on her right cheek.
One of the main problems with her ability is finding clothing that can stand up to the same punishment as she can. Fortunately, Force has, with enough profit and the right contacts, found someone who can make for her a hyper-resilient suit that covers the bases, and generally stands up to what she can take. It’s mostly form-fitting underarmour sort of material, done out in black and red. The upper half is kind of a belly-shirt tank top, covering the top half of her chest but leaving the stomach and arms exposed, while her shorts reach to about mid-calf and are also form fitting. She also wears half of a facemask, done in deep purple and deep red – this used to be a bandana, but is now the same form-fitting spandex shit as the rest of her suit. It covers her nose down to her neck. She wears a necklace that looks vaguely like it might give her powers or something to throw people off. No shoes.
Born a child of two latent mutants, Elisabeth grew up in a normal midtowner’s life. sure she wasn’t the best in school, but man was she hella at Judo, taking home multiple state championships and almost qualifying for the American Olympics Team (or whatever an equivalent would be in this time). She never really made life plans beyond that, though, and fell somewhat aimless after an injury in her senior year of high school threw her out of contention for that year, making scholarships a lot tougher. She really started focusing in on bassoon then, and eventually went to college on a planned double major in sports medicine and music performance, the latter of which she dropped to complete on time. at the age of 19, while on a mountain climbing trip, Elisabeth fell off of a hundred foot cliff, and came out luckily unharmed. To all observers, it was luck, and she claimed that she broke her fall grabbing onto some cliff foliage near the bottom. But that didn’t happen. What happened was that she hit the ground. But there was no crack of her neck or spine, no feeling of whiplash, no loss of breath as her ribs punctured her lungs and left her to die. Instead, there was a feeling of power. Ecstasy, almost. And POWER. She felt so strong: crazy strong. She had to try this again! And experiment.
So she went off “Hiking” much more often – and while she did get better at climbing mountains, the real goal was to learn more about her powers; purposefully hurting herself while deep in the wilderness, figuring out the true limitations of her powers: of which she found none. But, with all this in mind, Elisabeth saw not a chance to do good part-time. No, people didn’t deserve another person working their asses off only to get picked up by the fucking Public Eye and whisked off to who knows where once again. No; if she was going to use her abilities, she was gonna make bank. So fuck Sports Medicine.
Developing a codename: Force, and working with a shitty costume for the time being, she put herself out there in Downtown robbing some banks and beating back some small-time goodie-two-shoes until she got the attention of some bigger guys and was able to drop the small-time villainy and get what she really wanted – safe, legal (usually) money in the eyes of her bank, and jobs beating up people for pissing off the big wigs. She got a great apartment out of the deal, too! Both her parents are quite elderly and have moved off to what’s left of florida, while most of the rest of her family is out in the Midwest.
Force doesn’t really have a plan for the future. There is no master plan, no world domination. Force lives to fight, and makes work as a contract enforcer/killer/bounty hunter/whatever you want if the price is high enough; assumingly she’d therefore be introduced in a situation where a hero is trying to stop one of these from happening, or is the target themselves. Given the chance herself for complete power, she’d keep fighting until she’s fought the strongest being she can find, and then… ??? . It’s also worth considering that, presented in the right circumstances, she’d just as happily fight for the “good guys,” though I wouldn’t really classify her as an anti-hero, because her end goal really isn’t positive, yet.
Notes – gonna use this area for personality.
Elisabeth is strong of focus and body: when training in her preferred martial arts or musical instrument, she is in her element, as when she is in combat. She shuns any idea of stealth once the fighting starts, and will generally give her opponent a fair chance to face her and fight on even grounds – whatever weapons they’d like (though this is often as much for her own benefit as theirs, since sneak attacks from her are generally pretty low powered). This feeling of battle honor, however, does not extend to the authorities: she’ll gladly use every dirty trick in the book to beat, kill, or escape their grasps, and has so far kept her identity secret. In five phrases: Fun Loving – Killer – Relatively level-headed – brusque – aimless
Sample Post –
The Warden - - Episode 5 - - Thrall of Extant
All things considered, that mission went rather poorly. The target they were supposed to save died, the villain they were supposed to capture disappeared, and Batman was angry at Ravager for some reason. He'd have to ask the Question about this Illuminati theory at a later date, he seemed rather passionate about it, might be a good way to connect to him. There seemed to be even more guys here than there were at the opening event thing. At a certain point, doesn't this get to be a bit of an organizational nightmare? he wonders, as this new person with a funny helmet comes onto the scene, yelling something about an "Existant" (whatever that is), and then sneezing on people.
Then the Extant fellow really did show up. bit of a flair for the dramatic, really he thinks as his allies age around him, and he is turned into a creature even more monstrous than before. vines ripple out from inside of him and burst from his stomach. His skin greens and grows even more spines. his face distorts as vines move up through his neck and fill his mouth, bursting out like many thin tongues. his legs and arms become fully engulfed in plant matter, as the vines exploding from his mouth encircle his face and begin to grow leaves. Now, with only his eyes still left exposed, the transformation reached its conclusion. In a rather large bit of pain at this point, the unwilling conscious of The Warden mostly peters out for now, as he began to terrorize the elderly. Someone ain't getting his scout badge today.
shooting out vines, The Warden latches himself to the rafters and begins crawling towards Ravager, reaching for her - before her energy sword breaks off a vine. He recoils in pain, and it shocks him back awake. This makes little difference, given his current state, though The Warden is certainly doing his best to slow himself down as he continues to chase around others, eventually lowering himself downwards upside-down from the rafters and bringing himself face to face with the elderly Gypsy.
Meanwhile, the cut off vine begins to crawl towards Ravager.

My sheet was accessible. It had clear headers of the sections. And I did shorten quite a bit down. Tbh, I am use to much longer sheets than that one. For me that is as brief as you're going to get from my normal standard. I am sorry if others are too lazy to bother reading it. Sounds like this was meant to be a Free Roleplay than a Casual one if someone doesn't want to accept some extra details to make the character come off with their own voice and alive.

For me that is as brief as you're going to get from my normal standard. I am sorry if others are too lazy to bother reading it. I've never RP'ed in Free in my life, however I'm not going to read through multiple paragraphs when I asked that the Bio be brief. Casual standards are defined on this site as being:
Roleplay here if you enjoy writing at least a paragraph or two, character development, and some depth. Grammar and spelling are encouraged. Generally one paragraph (a few sentences) per post. See individual GM for RP specific standards.
I designed Weaver in the mind of a Fan Fiction Anti-Hero. Um he started off originally as a RP character. The RP died because the GM jumped off the face of the planet. I continued the character in Fan Fiction. He has a sort of love hate relationship with Spiderman merely because of what he embodies to Weaver.
Oh goody. Do you think you could have a look over the original sheet and see what I need to adapt to make it work for this RP?
From the looks of it you had this character created for other games and stories, so saying I don't appreciate the time people put into these is a bit ridiculous. You put time into it for another game. You posted the CS as it was ORIGINALLY, and mentioned above you'd be willing to 'adapt' it for this particular RP. Then you outright refuse to adapt it in any way and have the nerve to say this RP belongs in Free?!?
As a GM I reserve the right to not have to spend twenty minutes reviewing one sheet for a Casual standards RP. It's why I only dabble in Advance once in awhile.
Wow, that sounds really pretentious.
And it is. I'd never sign up for an RP, post a CS, then tell a GM he can accept it as is or not at all. I'm not that hard up for players.
All I am going to say on this manner, is I am sorry if I came off rude last night. I had a long day and that isn’t what I wanted to deal with at all. When my sheets on a normal day span between 8 and 10 pages, I did a lot, a lot to cut my standard sheet into just barely 4 pages on the Google Docs. If I feel a detail is important to the character I will add it. While I am on the High End of Casual, I think that it was unfair to ask me to lower my quality standard.
As a GM I appreciate members who put in good writing and show effort. I have always been a firm believer that the more a member gives me, the more I could work off it and include it into the story. Because RPs are a collaborative effort. The member may spark something I the GM didn’t think of and I like those little details.
I will not as I have been RPing for 16 years to lower myself. When I crave interesting ideas and I crave expanding my mental gates. I did what I could to cut back, but that amount of writing is as casual as you’ll get out of me and I do not think it was fair to expect less out of me.
That’s how it came off to me at least. I shouldn’t have snapped. But I am still not joining a RP where the GM expects the lowest quality of work.
So yeah, it's a WIP at the moment, but I figured I might as well post something a bit less... self-congratulatory than some of the stuff above. I put a cliff's notes of the backstory, but I'm going to fill in the blanks there later.
Character Type - Canon Inspired Name - Uther Samson Alger Alias - US Ace, The Roadbuster Age - 21 Social Class - Downtown Alignment - Anti-hero Archetype - Enhanced Human Powers - Uther himself has very little going for him. His skull and other bones (including his teeth) are ridiculously durable, and his reflexes and reaction times are far and above the human norm. He also has an outrageous amount of endurance, able to go for a few days without sleep.
On the other hand, we have The Roadbuster. The Roadbuster is Uther's supercar, a custom number with several incredible features that make Uther's job as a courier possible. Under the hood is a custom-built engine powered by an Arc Reactor. The only computers on board are completely removed from most of the more important systems to prevent hacking. The car itself has a Vibranium chassis and suspension, allowing it to absorb the bumps from the road... and any fenderbenders, gunfights, or daring jumps Uther gets into. Thankfully, the windows are made of high-tech glass that's highly reflective- lasers tend to bounce right off. The Roadbuster is completely airtight, with oxygen scrubbers, allowing it to operate underwater for hours at a time or survive encounters with toxic gasses.
Additional systems include: Rotating wheelwells- The Roadbuster is able to move sideways for a quick burst- enough to dodge rubble or traffic. Gecko-Grip tires- a coating that allows The Roadbuster to drive on walls Railway Riders- a deployable set of disks that allow The Roadbuster to drive on old subway tracks- perfect for evading pursuit. Headlights- that double as nonlethal laser cannons. For the purpose of getting rid of debris in the road and deterring sewer mutants. Electronic Paint Job- The Roadbuster's paint is a specialized coating that can be changed between a few preset configurations- including midnight blue and pitch plack for stealth purposes. Scramble Plate- the license plate is able to scramble its numbers, giving false results from databases.
Skills - Even without his cybernetic enhancements, Uther is a master wheelman, equally at home behind the wheel of a sedan and a big rig. Despite his less-than-legal career, Uther's actually highly educated as an engineer. He builds, modifies, and repairs The Roadbuster himself. He's a reliable marksman, but nothing to write home about. Weaknesses - Uther's cybernetics don't have an internal power source- they convert the calories in his body for energy. As such, he has to eat a lot more than a normal human. Arch Enemy - The mystery dude who blew up his lab. Appearance - BRIEF Bio - -he and his brother used to be engineers for a major auto corporation -someone didn't like them developing a clean engine using arc reactor tech -someone decides to blow up their lab -his brother's dead -Uther's injured, needs cybernetics to survive -uses everything he knows about auto design to build The Roadbuster, a supercar powerful enough to haul a semi-trailer. -sets out to uncover who tried to kill him, upset the status quo
Notes - The glove compartment of the Roadbuster contains two things that Uther has deemed utterly necessary for his work- a rather large revolver, and a collection of discs of classical music- such as The Scorpions, Saint Pepsi, and Lazerhawk. Sample Post -
Also a WIP on my end, but I have the powers/skills, weaknesses and appearance down for the new Iron Fist.
Character Type - Cannon Inspired
Name - Xiaolong Kai
Alias - Immortal Iron Fist
Age - 19
Social Class - Downtown, Midtown, or Uptown?
Allignment - good
Archetype - Human
Powers -Chi Manipulation- By manipulating his own life energies through practices learned in K'un-L'un, Iron Fist can enhance his strength, reflexes and agility to mildly superhuman levels, encourage his wounds to heal faster than normal and sense the flow of energies chi energies and with focus other types of energy around him.
K'un-L'unan physical conditioning-After a decade of training in K'un-L'un, Xiaolong's body and senses have been trained to the peak of unassisted human capability. In addition to his supreme physical fitness and highly tuned senses, Xiaolong's training has allowed him to develop full control over his body's functions, allowing him to achieve feats like deadening his sense of pain, slowing the effect of poisons on his body, controlling his body temperature to endure extremely hot or cold environments, or slow his body's vital functions to the point of entering a near-death state among other feats of physical control.
Chi of Shou-Lao-The most important power of the Immortal Iron Fist is access to the Chi of Shou-Lao. After defeating the dragon guardian of the mythical city of K'un-L'un, Xiaolong was mystically bonded with it and gained access to its boundless, fiery chi. The first and signature power this grants is the Iron Fist, the ability to concentrate a portion of Shou-Lao's chi into his hand in order to make it temporarily invulnerable and capable of striking with massive force. Xiaolong can also use the Chi of Shou-Lao for less destructive purposes, channeling its purifying energies into himself or others to heal them and purge them of foreign ills.
Skills - Master Martial Artist: Xiaolong has mastered all of the martial arts of K'un-L'un and many of Earth's martial arts as well and is incredibly skilled at both armed and unarmed martial arts as a result.
Stealth: As part of his training in Ninjutsu and in the general curriculum of K'un-L'un, Xiaolong became fairly well-versed in concealment and infiltration.
Multilingual: Xiaolong is fluent in English, numerous Chinese dialects, Japanese, French and German thanks to tutors in K'un-L'un and rigorous study and meditation on certain chapters of the Book of The Iron Fist.
Some Technical Knowledge of Magic: Growing up in the mythical city of K'un-L'un with its own ancient magics and abundance of fantastic creatures and sorcerors means that Xiaolong has basic knowledge on magical subjects and lore, though he has no ability to use magic himself.
Weaknesses - Otherwise Normal Human: Xiaolong is a normal human other than his unusual natural and supernatural abilities and can be injured and killed by conventional weaponry as easily as any other human being.
Limited Capacity of Chi: Xiaolong's natural human chi is usually finite in nature and drawing on it exhausts him the more he uses it for superhuman feats. Similarly, Xiaolong is at a point in his training where repeatedly using the Chi of Shou-Lao puts potentially dangerous strain on his body.
Incomplete Immortal Weapon Training: Xiaolong's training as the Immortal Weapon of K'un-L'un is incomplete as he was sent out into the world without fully mastering the secrets within the Book of the Iron Fist. As such he only knows the basics of his own powers.
Naivete: Xiaolong was raised in the ancient mythical city of K'un-L'un, and thus has little understanding of the outside world other than what he's gleaned from the Book of the Iron Fist.
Arch Enemy - Depending on what we get in the villain department...
BRIEF Bio - Xiaolong of the K'un-L'un noble house of Kai trained all of his life to become the greatest martial artist of his time and face the dragon, Shou Lao the Undying. Xiaolong succeeded in defeating the immortal beast and plunging his fists into its molten heart, but before he could begin his training in earnest disaster struck. the mystical city's sorcerer ruler, the Yu-Ti, sensed a great imbalance of evil washing over the mortal world. This began reflecting itself in K'un-L'un as crops withered and children and the elderly fell sick with mysterious diseases. So as many Iron Fists had done before him, Xiaolong was ushered out into the mortal realm to correct the balance.
As he stepped foot out into the icy snows of the mountain range that hid the gate to K'un-L'un, he found an escort from the Rand Corporation already waiting to meet him, set to transport him to Nueva York as part of a protocol established by former CEO Danny Rand in case of any stirrings from K'un-L'un. Now, on retainer with the Rand Corporation as a 'private troubleshooter' but still unsure of what sort of trouble exactly he's meant to solve, Xiaolong has been forced to navigate an entirely different world from the one he left behind.
Character Type - Canon Inspired Name - Mark Milford Alias - Daredevil (II) Age - 24 Social Class - Downtown Alignment - Anti-hero Archetype - Enhanced Human Powers and Skills -Enhanced Senses: Like the first Daredevil, Mark has enhanced senses, which can alert him to danger and abnormalities. However, unlike the original Daredevil, he is not blind and as such also has enhanced vision which allows him to spot small details. Advanced Hand-to-Hand Combatant: Mark is skilled in street fighting due to his origin within the Downtown area, where you're extremely likely to run into danger. He is not trained in any martial arts, though he knows fast and efficient ways to take down opponents. Free Runner: Mark grew up running along the rooftops and alleys of the Downtown area, and as such is trained in free running and parkour. He has an almost natural instinct when it comes to running to or from danger, which keeps him from tumbling to his death to the streets below. Weaknesses -Glass Jaw: Mark isn't the toughest guy around. Though he is good at dodging attacks, taking them head-on is not his strong suit. Though he can usually take hits from normal people, melee weapons will hurt him pretty bad. Going up against someone with super strength? Forget about it. Arch Enemy - None, though that might change. Appearance -Mark stands at 5'11 and has a subtle build, with muscles that aren't apparent until you find yourself face down in a pool of your own teeth and blood. He has dark hair and eyes, and usually finds the time to shave, though occasionally he doesn't which leads to a 5 o'clock shadow. He usually has a bruise or two on his face from his vigilante activities as well. As Daredevil, Mark wears a red and black body suit and a black helmet. The bodysuit is padded with Kevlar and the helmet is made of metal, leading to a protective if slightly encumbering outfit. BRIEF Bio - Mark Milford was born in the Downtown area of Nueva York to a young couple. His mother worked the night shift at a diner, and his father was a street thug. For the first few years of Mark's life, all was well, until one fateful day his father was gunned down by rival gang members. Mark, not knowing of his father's life as a criminal at his young age, thought it was an unprovoked attack and sought to avenge his father's death. Mark had hoped to set out and find his father's killer as soon as he turned 18, though at 17 his mother grew ill and he needed to care for her. This kept him from doing so for several years, as he didn't want to go out and get himself killed while his mother still needed him to care for her. At the age of 22, Mark's mother passed away in her sleep. Mark, now living on his own in a rundown apartment, set out to find his father's murderers. After a few months of tracking down every lead he had, during which time he put together a simple black suit and mask to hide his identity during his outings, Mark found his father's killers. He found out that day that bodies can bend in odd ways when you drop them from a thirty story building. Though Mark originally intended to stop after that, his exposure to the darker side of the dark side of Nueva York estranged him from normal life. He could no longer sleep well at night knowing there were still criminals out there who preyed upon the weak and innocent. Instead, he chose to continue his vigilante activities, adopting the alias 'Daredevil' after an urban myth he heard about as a child. And so, The Man Without Fear was reborn. Notes - Mark uses two batons as weapons, in contrast to the original Daredevil's modified billy club. Mark has been operating as Daredevil for a little under a year. However, he has only had the costume in the picture above for a month and people have only ever taken to calling him Daredevil since a certain incident detailed below.
Daredevil, The Man Without Fear
In...
RETURN OF THE DEVIL!
Cold. It's fricking cold. Whilst standing on a rooftop, awaiting the group of drug dealers that were supposed to be meeting in this apartment complex tonight, Daredevil suddenly realized that this new suit was a lot less insulated than his last one. Sure, this new suit provides more protection and will make people recognize him as Daredevil, but at least his old suit kept him warm when he went out to fight crime. "That settles it, I'm wearing my old costume under this suit from now on..." Daredevil muttered, his breath visible in the frigid air. Whilst rubbing his hands together to warm them up, he spotted the guys he was looking for. Four in all, entering the abandoned building for their meeting. "Showtime, Mark." Entering the building and finding the guys was easy enough. A fire escape was there, and Daredevil, using his enhanced hearing, deduced that the men were on the second floor. It was simple enough to climb down and enter through a window. Keeping low and using his hearing to guide him, Daredevil managed to find the disused apartment they were hiding out in. "You chose the wrong night to get together, boys." Daredevil declared, striding into the room with confidence. The four men jumped up from the table they were sitting at, all scrambling to get away from the vigilante. A dark grin broke out across Daredevil's face, "Don't worry. It'll be over quick in just a second. Not gonna guarantee it'll be painless, though." One of the thugs snapped out of his terrified stupor, pulling a pistol on the vigilante. In response, Daredevil ran forward, hoping to eliminate the thug before he could fire. A sharp CRACK! as the bullet flew from the pistol dashed the bit of hope in Daredevil's heart, and he bit back a scream as the bullet hit his kevlar-padded chest. Damn, that stung. Thankfully, he was right in front of the thug now. All he needed to do was grab the guy's arm and bend... KRRRK! There it is. The rest, who were unarmed, were easy enough to dispatch after that. Just a few whacks on the head with Daredevil's batons were enough to take them out. Before eliminating the last one, he cornered the man, and grinned that same dark, cruel grin. "I want you to tell your friends about me. Tell them that as long as I'm around that they should be afraid. Until you all get it into your thick skulls that I'll never stop, none of you are safe." "W-who the hell are you!?" The dealer shouts in fear. A dark snicker escapes the vigilante's mouth, "My name is Daredevil. Do you understand?" A jerky nod from the terrified thug, followed by a dry THUD as the baton did its job. Daredevil makes his way to the roof once more, traversing the Downtown area by rooftop in search of more crime. A scream pierces the quiet of the night. Another grin. 'I might be a devil, but the Lord is too generous to me...'
@Simple Unicycle Looks good so far, I'd accept it but I've still gotta read some parts. Waiting for my kid to get to sleep...
@Dblade26 Love the look! I thought the black on his jaw was sideburns but they're somehow part of the mask. If I micro this guy I'm gonna have to fix that LOL
@NecroKnight - Ghost - ACCEPTED @Afro Samurai - Power Man - PRE APPROVED [CS needs finished] @The Angry Goat - Force - PRE APPROVED [needs Sample post] @clanjos US Ace - PRE APPROVED [CS needs finished] @Dblade26 - Iron Fist - PRE APPROVED [CS needs finished] @Simple Unicycle - Daredevil II - ACCEPTED
@Pleek - THE Nicholas Grey - PRE APPROVED [needs Sample Post] ^^^^ For this one, focus more on being a celebrity and less on being a racer? He's a lot like a corporate hero in my JLU RP...
This is a damn good looking cast so far guys and gals. Anybody gonna reimagine a character that isn't street level? I don't want Thor to be the only big gun or person who can fly and throw cars... LOL
Okie dokie, so I just have a few things. First, mostly didn't have a sample post since I didn't see you have a sample post for your sheet. As GM I figure you'd probably want to nail down your sample post to show the other players what you would like their sample post to be. It is generally pretty lame to whip up a post out of thin air without anything to work off of you know? But sure I can get one up fairly quick.
Second, If everyone seems happy about playing around street level maybe just roll with the punches and do more street level focused things?
Third, I don't see how your Justice League roleplay really should effect how the players should build characters for this one? I mean THE Nicholas Grey is a celebrity DUE to his stellar racing fame.

1.) I never said anywhere it has to be for this RP, could just as well be an excerpt from another RP post you had written. Most people don't ask but I never say anything if they simply link me to a good post they'd written. I just have to know you can roll with an idea if I throw something at you. A good writing sample can make or break the best CS. Too many times I've accepted people into RPs without a writing sample for them to come at me with "I don't know what to do with my character..." It's great if it's in-character with the RP, but it doesn't have to be.
2.) I'm actually rethinking my character now. Even though he's powered down wielding Ronan's hammer rather than the real Thor's, I've been tinkering with ideas here and there for less powerful characters. Blazing Skull, 3D Man, and now that I notice the Defenders in the roster I may go for a spin on Punisher... or somebody similar like Laughing Mask or the Destroyer.
3.) I just draw comparisons to the character in my other RP because he's all about the product and the gimmick cars and gadgets. I just don't want to see the same thing with your guy here. I get that racing is why he's famous... so let me try and give you an example. Dwayne the Rock Johnson: He got famous because he was a wrestler and a champion. However when he started making movies... he kinda stopped wrestling and is still a MEGA celebrity. He's the biggest action star in Hollywood right now. Does a lot of his own stunts. He's gonna be playing BLACK ADAM in the Shazam movie. Grey can still be an incredible wheel man... I just don't want him to have gimmick cars and the like out of nowhere. He can wear whatever equivalent to a Nike logo they have in 2099, but I don't want him to be a walking infomercial.
Generally when I'm GM'ing more than one RP it's usually because I want something else out of the other RP. If Aquaman and Plastic Man are prominent in an RP thats DC themed, I'm less likely to accept somebody using Namor or Mr. Fantastic in a Marvel themed RP unless they're vastly different. If everybody from my JLU RP who applied for this used the same type of characters as the other game it wouldn't work for me [which in my mind would be a black version of A-Bomb or the Hulk, the daughter of the Lizard rather than Killer Croc, and the business suit Moon Knight... which honestly does still sound cool...]. I just wanted to tell you what I'd like to see with this type of character if you're gonna follow up with a writing sample of some kind. I still like the concept of a corporate hero, just don't be a sell out.
On the subject of more street level heroes. Just an image for now.... but I'm reimagining the Blazing Skull for the modern 2099 world. Likely shorten the name to 'Blaze'.
This is a damn good looking cast so far guys and gals. Anybody gonna reimagine a character that isn't street level? I don't want Thor to be the only big gun or person who can fly and throw cars... LOL

hey, I can throw cars! I just need one thrown at me first :V
Definitely taking interest in this! Will 2099 be primarily action-based or will you accept roleplay posts that delve into/draw from a character's life outside their powers?
