[IC] My hero Acadamia: the story of class 101

The crisp, summer air hit down on the concrete before all of UA High school's large campus. Outside, three of the new teachers kept the press away from the entrance so that the new entrants wouldn't have nearly as much of a problem getting in. They struggled against the large bands of tape set up to keep them out by the hero: cellophane, alumni happy to welcome new heroes into the school. Growling angrily to make sure no one tries anything was a man standing in a cameo military uniform, holding a powerful rifle in his hand, his left eye like a target, the right with a large pupil. This was the one and only Deadshot, the hero with the best aim in the world. Finally, standing more to welcome the new heroes-to-be was the legendary number one hero in all his fame and pride, standing proud and tall: Deku!. As the three awaited the new students they would happily welcome them in with a 'congratulations on making it in!' or 'good luck' with the occasional pat on the back. As each student filed into their classes, the press backed off knowing what would happen if they tried to force their way in. Those of the Hero would be making their way there, dressed in the newly ironed uniforms, taking in the large building, now ready to meet their fellow classmates. The room was large, open with a perfect square of desks neatly set up for students to sit in. There appeared to be far more seats than the class would actually consist of. Before them was a podium that would be used for a teacher to stand up and teach the students. There was no teacher to be seen, however, and as such, the chalkboard that read: "find a seat" could be seen right behind the podium. And so the first class of UA was going to begin.

Lucas looked around, taking in the sights as he approached the entrance. He then searched for his classroom and, upon entering, found it to be empty. "Huh, guess I'm the first one here. I figured more people would have been excited and gotten here early, like me." he said to himself. He saw the sign saying to find a seat and decided to pick one in a corner, near the window. He wondered who their teacher would be, as well as who else would be in his class with him, and what their quirks would be like.

Haley walked between the hordes of the press rubbing one of her shoulders as she was fairly embarrassed from all the attention. She briefly looked at Deadshot and almost couldn't contain her excitement, if it were not for the crowds of people with cameras and microphones she might have squealed with joy. As she walked towards the gates of the UA High school her excitement started to show in her movements, he walk had changed into a slight skip.

Then as the gates passed over her head and there was nothing obscuring her vision of the massive UA complex her eyes actually began to water. I've made it! I am actually here! She squealed quietly to herself so she could vent some of her excitement, she slowly calmed down as she made her way to the changing rooms. She was happy finding that the uniforms had long sleeves, but less so about the short skirts. She was glad that she brought a thick pair of her own leggings. she was shy about her body even tho her parents strive to convince her otherwise.

After changing it was finally time, she was walking up on the door to her classroom and she was kind of nervous. Don't worry Haley you got this! I'm sure they'll be friendly! I hope. She slides the door open and only sees one kid sitting up the back, oh. She smiles and gives a small wave. "Hi." She can't help but feel like she needs to say more but can't think of anything, she then looks at the board and then takes a seat on the very right of the second row of chairs. I wonder where the teacher is.

Seth let out a yawn as he walked towards AU. He had been up all night helping his dad work on a client’s car. She had wanted the car ready by next month, but her son was being deployed early and wanted to know if the car could be done today. His dad assured her that the car would be and told Seth to head to bed while he finished up. However, Seth protested and said the two of them could finish a whole lot faster. His dad thanked him and the two worked on the car until 3 AM before they decided the small amount the needed to do could wait till tomorrow.

The next morning Seth helped his dad with the little remaining work before he headed off to AU. He was so tired that he didn’t notice the oil and grease on his hands, arms, pants, and a small line of oil on his right cheek. He let out another yawn as he passed by a group of reporters that was heckling some of the students heading into AU. They paid him no mind until they saw him turn and head inside the Academy grounds. They tried to get his attention, but because of his noise canceling headphones blaring rock music. He didn’t hear them call to him.

He saw where the students were heading and soon followed them. He walked into the class room and looked around. He narrowed his eyes to focus them on the chalk board until he could read the words.

“Guess we get to choose our seats,” He said to himself before he yawned again. He maneuvered his duffle bag’s strap on his shoulder and loud clangs could be heard inside of it. He then proceeded towards the back of the room and took a seat. He placed the duffle bag on the ground causing more metal clangs before he placed his head on his arms and started to fall asleep.

Lucas almost jumped when someone suddenly came into the room. He turned to see a girl walk in, look at him, and say Hi. He stared, dumbfounded for a bit, thinking Wow, this girl is cute... Then he shook himself out of his thoughts and, turning slightly red, said "H-Hi!" and waived back to her. Good one Lucas, now she probably thinks you're a creep for staring at her. Just then, someone else came barging in, covered in grease, and making a racket, before picking a seat and dozing off. He took a deep breath and got up from his seat. If he was going to be a hero, he had to get over his shyness. And what better way, than talking to a cute girl? He slowly made his way toward her seat, nervous. When he finally reached her he took a deep breath and said "Umm, hello again. M-my name is Lucas Buki, p-pleased to meet you!" He took a bow, and whacked his head on her desk.

Izayoi Kageyama

It was an...odd feeling, being back in a public school after so many years of home tutoring. Well, this wasn't exactly a 'public school', in the strictest terms of the definition...more like a Private Academy, but the feelings still stood! Izayoi Kageyama made his way to the designated classroom, his lithe form smoothly avoiding collision against rushing students as they fought to make their way to their classes before the 'tardy bell'. Honestly, he found the entire situation somewhat amusing...most of 'em had spent at least five minutes outside, gawking at the Academy building, so he didn't really see why they decided to pick up the pace as soon as they actually entered the school...but eh, it wasn't really his business, was it?

Idly, the teenage hero ran a pale hand through his shaggy head of black hair, shaking the organized chaos with a flick of the wrist, before bringing his hand back down into his pocket. The school uniform was a bit annoying, but nothing that he hadn't expected - the slacks were slim on his long legs, and he knew that the blazer and shirt/tie combo complimented it well, so it wasn't too much of an eyesore. Still, Golden eyes twitched slightly in faux annoyance, Gray? Why such a muted color?

So focused on his thoughts, that Izayoi hadn't even noticed that he'd reached the classroom until he almost slammed face-first into the wooden door. Thankfully, reflexes kicked in, and he swiftly side-stepped the broad side, twisting the knob with a quick flick of the wrist and neatly stepping through the entrance. Surprisingly enough, there weren't many students inside - only a few...one girl, and two dudes, it seemed. Izayoi's calm, sharp gaze quietly flitted between the three, taking in everything he could see on the exterior.

The girl seemed pretty relaxed, all things considered, and the boy currently talking to her had just...hit his head on her desk? Izayoi's stoic demeanor threatened to break, so he quickly turned his attention to the other guy, unable to stop the slow, amused smirk that had fallen onto his lips. The ginger boy seemed much more in control than the black-haired one, that's for sure. He also seemed to have a lot of grease and oil covering his body...probably from working on vehicles before coming to the Academy today? There was quite a bit of it, too.

Alright then, the least he could do was help the guy out, right? No one probably told him that he was covered with grease. Kinda screwed up.

"Yo." Izayoi greeted the girl and boy - that was currently in the opposite corner of the room. He gave them a friendly wink, his amused smirk only growing as he eyed the two. "You should probably get that forehead checked out, man." He tossed his bag over his shoulder, heading towards the ginger boy on calm, casual footsteps. Once he reached the dude's desk, he leaned back on the desk behind him, dropping his bag on the floor and letting out a relaxed sigh.

"Ah...feels good to sit. Anyways, quick tip," Izayoi blinked his eyes, leaning forward a bit. One slender hand rose to point at the boy's face.

"You have oil on your cheek." His smirk turned into a crooked half-grin.

Haley smiled as her wave was returned and had been looking back at the board when she saw another boy enter the room. She didn't look for too long tho she could still notice the grease on him. Is that really how he's going to show up on his first day? She shrugs the looks back at the board.

Then she hears the sound of a chair moving and turns around to see the first boy walking over to her desk. She internally panics slightly but still manages to greet him with a smile. She can feel his embarrassment and this both gives her confidence and makes her smile get a little wider. "It's nice to meet you to Lucas. My name is Ha---." She was cut off by the abrupt thud of the boys head on her desk. She couldn't contain her giggling.

Her gaze had shifted back to the newest boy as he verbally poked the boy who had face checked her desk. She then looked down at Lucas with a soft smile. "The name is Haley. Are you alright down there?" She had stopped herself from giggling not wanting to embarrass the boy more.

"Y-yes. I'm fine." he said, standing straight and rubbing his forehead, which was now red from hitting it. "I-I'm sorry, I'm just usually shy meeting new people, especially cute girls." he blurted out. He then realized what he said and turned as red as his forehead. Crap! Why did I say that last part!? I am such an idiot! "I-I'm going to go back to my seat now." he said, slumping over as if he just lost an important battle, or failed an important test, shuffling back to his seat.

Augustus was flown to school with a helicopter. He enteredted the school with a cool view.
He concentrates on his classmates, especially the females. Augustus changed his clothes and went to his classroom where he saw a girl and several boys. He straightened his kravats coolly and go straight to the girl next to that he sats down. He greeted everyone briefly and a laptop.

Haley smiled as Lucas lifted his head off her desk, her cheeks then went a shade of pink when he called her "cute". She made a soft squeaking noise vocalizing her embarrassment. She then nodded as he said he was going to leave, "O-ok." is all she could bring out of her before another new boy entered the room.

I'm so outnumbered! Where are all the girls!? She watched the new boy for a moment before returning his greeting then looking back at the door hoping that the teacher would be there soon. She then heard the chair next to her get moved, this had to be the new kid. She only then realized her cheeks where still slightly pink then she forced herself to calm down.

I look on my Watch and open a new document on my Laptop.

Meruem Kiryu

Meruem went largely unnoticed by the crowd, dipping and pushing through them as he carelessly sauntered to class. Toasted bread rested stiff in his mouth, his eyes boldly on the UA institution in front of him. As he passed by the massive gates, admiring the reflective surface of the mostly glass building, he couldn't help thinking that he had finally taken that first step.

Its' here, he thought, snapping a corner of the toast off and chewing it. Where my brave journey begins.

With a chuckle he gave in to his enthusiasm and started racing into the school. By the time he had reached the door to his classroom he had felt both exhilarated and nervous. The last time he was in a public school had been wrought with stigma... A stigma that had to be clean thoroughly. Sure he could do it again and if it came down to it, he most likely would, but it was nowhere near enjoyable.

Habitually, Meruem inhaled deeply before letting it slide out. He squeezed his buttocks and slid open the door with enough force to created a thudding echo. The next moment the youth strode inside with an incorrigible glint in his eyes. He lifted his hand face-height, greeting the crowd with a smile, and said, "Ah man, isn't it great to be brave today?! This is just the beginning for us future heroes y'know. Introductions are usually saved for teacher, right? That difficult for me, since its a rule of mines to greet those I'm gonna surpass the moment I meet them." That challenge hung in the air while he found a seat near the back.

"So, its nice to meetchu guys. I'm Meruem Kiryu. Won't you guys tell me your names too?"

Lucas just kinda slumped into his chair, thinking about how Haley must think he's creepy for just calling her cute out of nowhere like that, he kinda ignored the others around him.

Aki Kagami slipped into the room quietly and took the first seat she saw in the front row, organized her pencils and notebook on the desk, then let out a quick sigh of relief.

Not as early as I hoped to be, but certainly not late... I don't think I could bear running behind on my first day! There are so many aspiring heroes here, and if they thought I was some sort of slacker... I don't know what I'd do then!

She turned around and looked over the other students that had arrived before her, analyzing them as best she could based on appearances.

Let's see... Anyone who wears a headband like that into class is going to put their all into hero work. That guy looks like he's "too cool" to be in class, so he must be confident in his abilities. There's one other girl here, blushing already... Though I'm not surprised she's already attracting attention. Anyone who tries to hide their figure like that must get way too much of it. And that guy... looks like he wants to melt into the floor right now. Wonder what happened to him?

Haley watches Meruem walk into the room and she quietly groans as yet another boy walks in. She can't help but smirk at his cocky attitude and already can't wait for a shot to put him in the ground (literally). She goes to say something but stops as she sees the door open again, she crosses her fingers and prays that its another girl. She let out a silent sigh of relief as her praying paid off, tho this girl was rather short almost definitely a head shorter than Haley herself.

She quickly turned back to Meruem now ready with a retort to his challenge. "I'll make sure it's not to easy for you. And the name's Haley." She has no idea what this kids powers are or how good he is at using them, but for some reason she feels that she could take him. She isn't sure if she's overestimating herself or underestimating him.

She smiles to herself before she notices Lucas slumped in his desk. Poor guy... She can't help but feel a little sorry for him, she is used to boys trying to chat her up but this guy seemed even more embarrassed then she was. She then looks back at the short girl and gives a little wave. And finally she sets her gaze back on the door waiting and wondering what hero was going to be their home room teacher.

Seth twitched and lazily looked up at Izayoi. He narrowed his eyes to have them focus before he ran his two fingers across his cheek. It didn’t get rid of the oil on his cheek but add to it. He moved his hand back and looked at it and cursed, “Shit.” This woke him up and he sighed as he reached down and unzipped his duffle bag. He proceeded to look through it as more metal clangs came from the duffle bag. He took out a ruby red combination wrench from the duffle bag and placed it on his desk before he continued to search. As he did he removed more tools from his bag like Wrenches, hammers, screwdrivers, and other tools one would find in an auto body shop. He let out another sigh, “Always on the bottom.”

He removed the container of Clorox wipes and began to whip down his hands until the grease and Oil were completely gone. He then used a signal wipe to remove the oil from his cheek. After that, he chucked the dirty wipes into the garbage at the back of the class before he wiped his wet hands on his pants. He realized he had wiped them on more grease and oil and cursed again before he did the whole process over again. He then used the wipes to clean his pants. His pants were not clean of grease and oil, but now were stained with bleach, but he didn’t seem to mind that.

“Thanks, man,” Seth said to Izayoi before he continued, “Forgot I worked on Mrs. Rose’s car before coming here. Names Seth.” He extended his clean, Clorox smelling hand towards him. he then looked around at the class room and had to blink a few times.

“Whoa, where did everyone else come from?” Seth said not realizing he had been asleep while everyone came into the class.

Aki started slightly at the sound of someone's voice in her mind.

What? That was... It must have been some kind of telepathy.

She pulled a makeup compact from her shirt pocket, flipping it open and using its mirror to scan the room behind her. She stopped on Augustus, watching him just long enough to copy and reverse his Quirk for good measure.

Please stay out of my mind... You should use your power to fight evil, not snoop on your classmates' thoughts!

Hardly anyone had offered him their name. Only one brave girl and that little courtesy was enough for Meruem to take an interest in her. He chuckled playfully before performing his signature movement; a loud SNAP! of his fingers echoed, his left hand was pointed in Haley's direction. "Now that's brave, Haley. I hope to meet you on that bold path one day."

His attention was soon elsewhere, wholly ignorant of those that refused his request. Not that he resented them. No, he was used to being ignored by others. The chaos that was his brilliant-self took time to get use to. Even he recognized that. The brave youth reached into his bag and pulled out a hand-sized notebook. Within those pages were the names of heroes, people, and villains alike; some struck through with a deep red line. Right beneath the last name he had written inside it, some villain who had caused a ruckus overseas, he scribbled what he believed would be Haley's name: Hailey of UA.

He snapped it closed before settling it back into his bag. Just one more person to leap over.

Now he impatiently waited for class to start. He slouched back into his chair, fidgeted with his orange headband a tad, then begin twiddling his fingers; playing with their roughened conditioned with that courageous gleam in his eyes.
