Threading the path of the Typelunatic is a daunting challenge. It's like opening the fridge of a rented summer house. It'll be dark, murky and stink of things no human being should ever know of. But after you scrape it all, you can finally chill out.

I'll be sincere, I'd rather not see this. But that's just of my personal opinion, 1st person narration in a RPG is extremely annoying to read and clashes up with the established style that everyone else uses. So it's really unsightly.

Plus, it invokes the sensation of being the main character, or at least the POV character, of the media you are in. Which no PC usually is in any RP. Again, that's just my opinion but it's indeed the literary device that this style of narration invokes/is meant for.

@SaveusY2J: You're talking in terms of Servants and HP, which doesn't necessarily work for the purposes of this RP. Like... Stabbing a normal person (or, well, a being not of spiritual/magical origin) with Trap of Argalia wouldn't take out the entire leg, now would it? That sorta argument.

You're right I don't think it would, the reason he's able to take off the legs of the other servants is that their spiritual form is part of the holy grail, or at least I think that's why he can do it to other servants. So do you want me to change the equipment and ability category so that it includes what happens with people who aren't of magical/spiritual origin?

@SaveusY2J: There's more to it than that, honestly. Trap of Argalia is a big anti-Servant weapon because of its function specifically TOWARDS Servants; it makes them 'fall' because that's just how the myth works out, which ends up manifesting as how you see it in Apocrypha. It's just a big lance otherwise afaik, though strengthened by the fact that it's an NP. None of the usual fancy stuff. Just a big ol' lance.

...Which is a problem, considering that against beings with a more concrete form (read: not Servants), it cannot return anything to 'spiritual form' because they do not have a spiritual form. Yeah.

La Black Luna is also an issue because a) not defining what 'less HP' means and b) not defining things like range, duration, etc;.

Though Eva is still being nerfed, we came up with a slightly more reliable approach that won't disappear if Nanoha or someone provides Eva with magic access.

While I'm at this, I have a question. Would a character that is already fictional in their own source material work for this? More specifically, a character from a game inside the story like day, the characters from any MMO anime, Tron, etc. would be an ok choice?

I'm asking this because I'm thinking on Accel World for my last pick. The human half of any Burst LinkerI know that would be ok, I'm just curious about their online halves. Even if the answer is negative, I have a plan that could make it feasible for a duel avatar to exist IRL, it involves Hans' help.

@KoL: I'm gonna say no on that simply because it creates far too many issues to deal with on a case-by-case basis. The biggest issue, of course, is that there's no way to differentiate 'real' from 'game', but there's also character reasons... Namely, the fact that Hans without his NP is super dead weight (and it basically means you'd be sacrificing him for your own character to get that stuff). Y'know, cuz that's just how that NP works. There's also the issue of writer's block and all the associated issues (like learning the personality of that person, buffing a person for no good reason, etc;).

Lotsa reasons as to why that prob ain't gonna fly.

Ah, I get. That was something I was considering. Especially because I don't know anything about how Hans' NP works (even reading the description still doesn't give me a real grasp of it). Well, that was just one out of a bunch of ideas, choosing a final character is far harder than the first two since it's the final pick, but eventually it'll come to me.

Ah, I should've been clearer with the damage and range with some of the equipment, La Black Luna is only really useful against weak enemies which is what was meant by "less hp", like in the legend he gets it he's able to clear out an entire flock of Harpies but against well, most humans probably, the only effect it has is temporarily getting rid of a persons hearing. I don't know about the range though since the only thing I could find was 1-50 and I'm guessing that would be in meters since it seemed to have a pretty long range the one time he uses it in Apocrypha. Should I add all that to the ability page for La Black Luna, and the stuff you said before to Trap of Argalia?

3. Hans writes. Depending on how much he writes, the target either gets anything from minor bonuses to going full Kiara.

Well, I get it now. These non-mainstream Servants are too elusive for me sometimes. Either way, that's not a question anymore.

The gods of Gensokyo ate certainly the laziest bunch around. I certainly like how none of them act dignified and godly anyway. I'm certainly considering Touhou for my 3rd spot since there's still one free pick from there.

Either way, I expect to get a post up between tomorrow and the Saturday. I'll likely drop Nanoha on Tokyo and Tohka close to Alberich, though I'm not very sure of were he's to say the truth. My geographic references are kinda poor.
