I'm waiting for an answer back from Sonia's portents. So either GM's to respond to what would happen in the hypothetical vision Sonia had so she would know what they were getting themselves into, otherwise I'll just have to write what Sonia see's and what they're facing just so the Portent would be accurate.

I'm still iffy on that vision ability since it's causing more problems than foreseen with writing a response to that.

Sorry. I mainly did intend Portent to be used as a scouting ability for situations like this. It'll basically allow Sonia to ask "What if I do this" and then learn what would happen if she did it. Divination magic in general tends to work like that, figuring things out before you have to go into it. No use in seeing things that just happened after all.

The problem here is having to come up with things ahead of time, when not everything is planned can be a huge complication. When you have Sonia use that spell, you could perhaps have it work like the less GM/DM-taxing divinations of D&D in that you have her make a question that we can answer with a short (usually cryptic) answer, instead of an open ended statement that may or may not become true.

Kinda like, instead of having her ask: "What kinds of dangers lay beyond here?" , which is tricky to reply to, without revealing too much/making stuff up that may or may not come true.

Have her ask: "If I cross this door, there'll be any dangers?" , which is easy to reply with a yes or no, followed by a statement like "Only if thy heart wavers," if need be.

It would work better for both sides that way.
