Appearance: Farce is a soft-faced boy with ebon skin and seasoned clearblue eyes. He stands at a average height of 5'7", however his physique spins a tale of fierce-exercises and dedication. Deep brown hair falls around his face and tied by a thick rope-charm into a mid-back ponytail. Always ready to explore and fight, Farce wears armored legs dyed black, his waist is adorned with a ceremonial black cloak embroiled with gold stitchings; telling a past of nobility. A cobalt, feathered-collar vest over a black tank-top adorns his chest.

Keyblade: A skeletal wee thing, Farce's Keyblade appears more-like a deftly crafted length-of-obsidian than an actual weapon. A keepsake from his past--a maroon cloth--acts as the handles wrapping. The end of said blade resonates with Farce's nobility by having an aged-visage of its three-tooth edge.

Personality: A boy who knows the darkness and its malformed inhabitants, Farce is seemingly high-spirited and carefree. A scion for the heroics of Atlas the Lost Light and Master Viper, he reacts very strongly in defense of the meek. Mostly due to his own painful memories and forsaken wishes. He speak with a clear cadence, often securing the confidence of others. While being reticent and morally ambiguous whispers of the Darkness inside, its his personal sense of justice that keeps him diligently on the side of Light. His intelligence and rather monarchical mannerism puts a quick end to most conflicts. In a sense, his only true quirk is the ruthless manner in which he dispatches Heartless.

Backstory: The sole heir to a forgotten World and Kingdom, Farce was handed the mantle of Keyblade-wielder by a derelict of a man. At once thought to be a beggarly outsider, the man approached Farce's royal family with a single warning. "Prepare, make ready for the Darkness, Your Majesty." If they had listened then many lives would had been saved. Thousands of Heartless would have never been created but they didn't. It was the work of Atlas the Lost Light--the beggar--that Farce had escaped that fate. For it was but a year earlier that he took him as his apprentice.

When the storm of Darkness made landfall, it was Atlas' power and bequeathmeant that whisked him away to the Land of Departure.

For two years Farce honed his skills with a single hope and prayer. When he got the chance to visit his World, after many months of searching for it, he was greeted to a realm of Darkness. Together with his Master, he swept the castle grounds of Heartless until he found the starved cadaver of his mother. Her body was limp in her pristine throne, her form a sentry of light despite its lifelessness. Not a speck of Darkness would go near her and only a tiny Heartless, wrapped in a dirty cloth rested at its edges.

The scene, tearful and emotional was Farce's last voice of dissent.

After that fateful day, he became much of what he is currently. When the X-Blade vanished there was no hesitation in seeking the pieces out. Master Viper had a faithful pupil in Farce the Realmless.

• Despite giving it his all, Atlas eventually fell to the Darkness. As a Heartless he was drawn to the vestiges of his Light.

@Renny Yeah, um, there are currently only two Masters. So that backstory ain't gonna fly.

And I feel like I need to make something very clear. The Seekers are not villainous. They aren't even meant to be anti-heroes. And yet so far every single Seeker submission has been virtually the same. A dark and broody character who wants to the anti-hero of the group. I'm not allowing the entire Seeker team to be comprised of the same Archetype. I'm sorry if that upsets somebody, but that's just way it is.

My point is, everyone is trying to be the token asshole. Well that concept loses all of its meaning if everyone is an asshole.

@Double I feel the same as @vancexentan. I just thought he'd fit in with the Seekers (he's a man of action after all) but I can be a Chaser if it pleases thee. As for the Master tid-bit, I never said Atlas was a Master. He's just a Keyblade-wielder that scraped by. He found Farce, saw potential, and the Light sent him to the Land of Departure. I intended for the Master that went with him to be either Viper or Cormack.

Other than that, I don't see any real criticism for my CS.

Fair enough but at no point do I think that's fair for Abel at the very least. He's had a fairly hard life, and has trust issues having been raised by rather dubious parental figures. He's rude, and arrogant but he's willing to listen to other people when they make a good point. He respects power but doesn't crave it like some anti-heroes. His ambition comes from wanting to make something of his life. He had nothing, and wants to get stronger to prove it but only of his own hands he's not willing to give into darkness to make himself better. Short cuts to him are just an bad way to end up in a bad position.

All I'm saying is I designed him to follow the closed fist path of Jade Empire-

Didn't I just say that that the majority of the other characters are trying to follow the formula of edgy dude with dark backstory? That archetype is getting tiresome now. I'd like a little more variety to balance out the personalities.

And I want take a moment to apologize for my attitude last night. While I still stand by the points made, I shouldn't have been so hostile about it and that's on me. I'm sorry for that.

And I feel heavily restricted by the premise of this RP, more so than I initially thought I was. I couldn't really come up with a history for X that compelled me as a writer. I didn't necessarily want to go the orphan route, but I honestly just don't know where to go or where I can go with your world. It seems you have a set vision of this world in your mind, so it makes it very hard for me to wiggle around your vision and what would interest me as a player.

I been RPing for near twenty or so years, and I have a lot of characters under my belt so I have to design a character that will both fit the world of the GMs, but be compelling enough for me to be motivated to carry on. While I loved X's personality and appearance and like the idea of him, I thought orphan was too generic, and I am drawing a blank on where I could go in your world. As I explained before in a PM, I like a GM who offers ideas, engages with their members, someone who bounces ideas, and gets excited about others characters.

So those are my thoughts and I felt like giving an explanation. Now I'd love to work something out with you, but I am not going to force it either. It also didn't help I was trying to design X and something happened to me at my home that was very stressful to deal with. So I had to leave the Discord in order to calm down and think about things.

I don't think my vision is as set as you might think. Other than the two masters, the concept of two occasionally clashing teams, and some of the villains... I actually haven't sat down and ironed much else out yet. I still don't know what all worlds I want to use except for like two or three. If it changes anything, I can tell you that both Cormack and Viper have ventured out and "scouted out talent" so to speak. They'll have ways of detecting when a new Keyblade Wielder is chosen and can seek them out to offer them training and whatnot. So if you wanted to go that route you totally could. That would also give you more free reign to have your character come from a bigger variety of worlds or walks of life.
