Personally I feel it isn't in the best taste, as I'm sure we all know about the existence of CaH, and the flaws in this premise of game. Especially with the fact that most of us here have all played this type of game before, and some of us have applied for, played in or considered CaH at some point or other. It does seem like you're doing a bit of 'This game is great and so much better!'. Not saying that is what you're doing, as we've played together before and yo cool.

I mean, objectively it is the most successful game imported from Superherohype. It’s been going on since at least 2010 by what I can recall. But trying to frame “CAH is better” is as unproductive as it is disingenuous in a place of conversation we’re in to try to remain constructive, cooperative, and committed. It just reads as sour grapes to try to discredit a game style which is not what we're about here.

He wasn't there at the start. It was started by another RPer who left not long after it started. I was one of the original co-GMs, but NMS came in early enough and ended up taking over and made it the reason it's lasted eleven years.

I know a Pokemon RP that's been going on for 16 years non-stop. Clearly, I win, since this has somehow been turned into a competition, which I doubt was Ded's initial intent.

I mean, I ran a caption-based pro-wrestling fantasy RPG for about twelve years across a few different sites. Only ended because three of the critical players got married (not to each other) and couldn't commit anymore. That doesn't beat the 16 years the Pokemon RP ran, but if you count the rival fed that started up to compete with it and used most of the same players, adding the five years that it ran, I've got 17. So there.
