Overlord - Glory in a new world
YGGDRASIL Online. A popular MMORPG with a playerbase of dedicated fans across the globe, critically acclaimed and running for years unopposed as the greatest fantasy game of its time that sported an impressive diversity in its player options from base classes go heteromorphic playable species. Items that could change the game itself. Enemies that roamed the open world requiring teamwork from dozens of players to slay and earn rewards worthy of their hard work.
The game remains popular even now as the developers allow the final hours of the games life to dwindle until at last its servers shut down for good. Players who have sunk thousands of hours into this virtual world stay online one last time awaiting the shutdown, wishing their creations and characters a fond heartfelt goodbye.

The servants and AI's of your guildhouse are real. They think and breathe and live just as you do, their programmed personality and backstory have bloomed into true personifications of their coding and serve loyally.
With a new frontier ahead, your greatest experience has begun in a new world ripe for the picking..
But will there be just you and your friends eyeing this new opportunity.
Ardent Heralds
Formerly nestled in the heart of a level 25 forest zone, the guildhome of Ardent Heralds was a local favorite to beginner adventurers thanks to the friendliness of its members. Protection and even low level items were often handed out to passing questers atruggling with the areas mobs.
Other members often offered their service during idle times to help with questing in the harder areas of the zone.
Each dignified member that made a habit of aiding low level characters were given an item called [Cloak of Evening]. Each cloak obscures the players gear and class stats, dropping their level to a requested number (10-100). As a lower level character themselves, it was necessary to keep players both from becoming reliant on free aid and allowing lower level characters to get full Exp bonuses from slain mobs.
If a max level character slays the monster, shared exp would gove value to the party based on that players level. Making most mobs killed nearly worthless in exp.
(Note: prevents the use of skills learned at a level higher than you select. Meaning that if you are put at lecel 40, you cannot use 41+ level skills or items.)
