I'm personally willing to wait another day or so for polybius to return. After that, I don't see anything wrong with starting a new thread, or using this one.

If polybius doesn't return, I suggest creating a new thread as the lore has already became confused, and I suggest starting from the birth of the first god so to avoid some of the confusion somethings brought up.

If we did do a reboot, what would people like to see? I'm a fan of starting on a blank world, with nothing built up, where we have more potential world building but I am open to a great amount.

This is my honest opinion but I would prefer a world where things like plants, animals and humans (bronze age) already exist. Because personally, I believe that if we start from blank it quickly turns into some weird world with like a whole area covered in only marble or something.

I like the idea that when we start, the only thing that exists is space stuff (the sun, moon, stars, etc) and one barren rock, which is literally just rock.

I would point out that this RP started out with a built-in origin story for humans, and then someone made another origin for humans in their backstory, which is a part of that confusion about that missing time.

If you want, I will be glad to play a nature god and go around and populate the world with normal (and not-so normal) nature stuff.

Seeing as how when given the option to create their realm everyone already has a set idea on what it looks like I think it would be interesting to just take a blank slate world and populate it entirely with the contents already mentioned in their realm descriptions. Demon-ridden spires, lush forests with secret grottos, vast mountain ranges and stretches of wintery tundra. The realm descriptions basically already have a world built up to a healthy starting base.

I agree with legion. I think if we had too much power, we would make some f___ed up snake people world or somethin'. I actually think that is what would be made too(especially with me here).

@Dealdric - Well, you're not wrong (Especially with myself). I think a happy compromise between an established setting and an open one for our gods to shape would work out for the best, leaving stuff like nature, the elements and stuff intact while we focus on shaping civilizations and such.

@Legion02 - If there are no more eager volunteers I could write up something of a thread to take this one's place for the time being. I haven't much experience running an RP directly but I've served as a co-gm in a fair few. Given the bare-bones nature of the plot it should be relatively simple to set up activity incitement events, the work will fall more on managing matters such as activity and so. I welcome others to take a swing at the position if they're so inclined but I'd be fine to take it up rather than let this fine work go cold.

It is about 75% complete as it stands and I'm working at it even now. I shall post a link for you all once it is complete. Do be aware since I'm taking control I've introduced a small few narrative differences, namely in the setting's origins, so a couple adjustments will be needed to be made to CS's involving the change in the story's past. I'll try and be a bit more informative once the thread is up.

- I am proud to announce that the thread is now (more or less) complete! All I have left for the OOC is to write up a CS frame for new players. It won't be too different from this rp's one. Feel free to read through what I've stirred up, discuss and post your CS's again so I can have a gander because a couple tweaks will likely be needed. It'll probably be nothing major, just some minor details.
