Name: Lilianna Rotz | Race: Undead Gazer
Personality: A voracious but upbeat individual who enjoys eating great meals, tasty steaks, and other sorts of things...never does gain weight though by it, and personally has no idea why. In line with this her interests on a personal level involve cooking to some extent, though with what her species can eat it isn’t surprising to eventually see her to cook up scraps and rotted pieces into a dish on rare occasion. However, when cooking for those of a different species, she is at least conscious enough to try to be careful about it...normally. There are times for her where the excitation of cooking can overcome such consciousness of the situation, much to her embarrassment. She does enjoy puns, though.
Beyond these things, she is a greater learner (especially on the fly) as far as intelligence goes, though she can be stubborn at times and overall isn’t afraid to speak her mind/will on a given matter. She’s perhaps one who might be most willing to use her fists and such if she feels the situation calls for it. However, one would be hard-pressed to find a more strong-willed individual who is willing to endure to the end....one would have to stop her every little last thrashing just to put her down. She’d even lay her life down for those things she holds most dear, and she takes that rather seriously.
However...the trauma of her past, what made her an undead, it still haunts her to this day. She has nightmares about it, even, and it is one matter that if used against her or to dig at her might trigger extreme anger, duress, stress, and at an extreme even potentially violence depending on the situation.

Mech:
Callsign: [Ouroboros] | Type: [Piloted Mecha] (she sits inside that head part and controls it)
Appearance: (see in above hider)
Loadout/abilities: Claws can be used for grasping flesh off of targets and tearing at them, and have been installed with 30mm HEIAP-firing gatling-type firearms that can be extended from the center of each “claw hand” and retracted to allow use of the claw hands properly. Satellite-dish-like end on one appendage is a particle beam cannon for use at range. Four 15-count missile launchers can be deployed from the top of the head, and retracted, to conserve space. Undercarriage mini-grasping arms, 2 on each side for a total of four, are equipped with sharp blades for close quarters and can be heated to scorch target flesh.

Race Specs: A species of monster girl developed by “humanity” in efforts to try to create a species to help better combat the necromorphs/reavers.
The race’s DNA base was derived from multiple hardy, and carnivorous, mollusk species living in the oceans of a very harsh alien ocean world, which was all taken and combined/modified with human DNA into cross-breed-able humanoids. Similar to some fish species from Earth, and some of the mollusks they were built from, the “Gazers” (as they were named) gained the inborn ability to change sex temporarily for mating purposes. This, ultimately, has left the entire race of this type of monster girl being female as a result, which works for purposes of easier breeding.
They are carnivorous, but their digestive systems are highly hardy/efficient. Even bone and scraps of organs and meat/muscle and rotting flesh and such materials are digested and processed safely into all necessary nutrients. They can even devour necromorph flesh safely due to their design, which is one of the main reasons they were engineered as they are physically. Yet this species, however, are unable to process plants and plant matter (passes right through them and acts like a laxative, feels odd for them).
Next, their eyes can produce special shifting light patterns that are strongly hypnotic to living things visually. This is a trait useful against living things, or at least in pacifying them, but more importantly it works on the undead/reavers and helps to distract them.
Their ability of “floating” through the air or water was engineered primarily as a means to help them move about easier over rougher terrains.
In the end, this race is “an engineered necromorph predator”, though their existence is far from the solution for the problem of the necromorphs/reavers.
Other Notes: Also, the race’s tentacle-like-limbs have an eye on each of them, each covered with a protective layer to avoid harm/damage to those eyes. This along with each appendage bearing an...incredibly long tongue, mainly made that way for gathering up food materials or liquids around the user. That, and using these tongues as a means to smell (an improved version on what snakes can do), one capability built into them for detecting their “prey”.
The “Incident”: Illegal experimentation utilizing old forbidden technology was undertaken on a Gazer subject, who was kidnapped and taken to station [REDACTED]. Dr. Heinrich Heinz personally performed the experiment, resulting in the subject being “successfully” immortalized into an undead form, with biological capabilities greatly retained in areas such as reproduction, mental capabilities, and eating, before being put into stasis.
However, when the Doctor later attempted to utilize a virus in conjunction with [REDACTED]...the fatality rate was high, and resulting damage to the station was extensive in nature. The old technology used in this and the prior experiment shortly before was confiscated and put into lockdown. The station was decommissioned for a time, approximately 5 years, to decontaminate and purge all traces of [REDACTED]...
Gazer subject was discovered by initial biohazard team, though after scans of the stasis tube showed specimen was not infected it was not terminated. It was taken to station [REDACTED], and place under the care of Dr. Chamberlin, an expert on the study of undead and the old technology that possesses high-level clearance for PROJECT [REDACTED]....which project continues even to this day.
Dr. Chamberlin was the first to approach the subject upon her awakening. Initial approaching was...rough, as subject had undergone trauma over their transformation process, apparently done whilst they were conscious the entire time. Restraints had to be used, but with more talking to Chamberlin the subject was able to seemingly calm down to where restraints could be released.
The subject’s Gazer anti-necromorphs and general capabilities were found to have remained intact after testing at the [REDACTED] Facility on the station. However, subject can only heal now by medical intervention or eating, though the latter shows strong regenerative properties if subject is damaged enough. Further testing with other acquired subjects proved user’s unique status makes them “less noticeable” to necromorph/reavers, but not “invisible”. This and potential implementations in PROJECT [REDACTED] are confirmed to exist, according to analysis of the data.
Once it was found the subject was fit for duty, and was thusly assigned to become a mecha pilot, Chamberlin was relegated as her proper steward to follow her. Of course his work of [REDACTED] continues regardless, though he seems to have developed a “soft spot” for the one entrusted to him. However, due to command’s notes about potentially conflicting “personalities” with another at the station Chamberlin and his charge are moving to, letters of warning have been sent to both parties about extreme actions on either of their parts.

History: Dr. Chamberlin was once a leading researcher into the undead and creation of monster girls, transferring into this area and flourishing after an unknown prior scientific career that was likely medically associated. He eventually developed a method to synthesize and grow artificial nerve cells before his death. Combined with brain-mapping of his neurons and the transcription of his memories and personality into data to be encoded into his brand of synthesized nervous tissue, Dr. Chamberlin succeeded in outliving his human body (though has saved his DNA and preserved it carefully since).
He eventually took up residence in a robotic body, attached directly to its systems to control it for all manner of things. Currently he hasn’t been able to develop alternate bodies, but seeks to do work on this as he further improves his neuron synthesis and transcription system. Though most of his memories are intact, and some of his life before the outbreak remain, not everything was perfectly preserved. According to him, and other observations, the new and imperfect nature of the neural synthesis and transcription procedure was to blame.
However, after many years of study about the undead and monster girls hybrids, when an instance of old technology arose he took particular interest in the subject affected by it. Oddly, he was among the party that advocated for her survival, rather than euthanasia. He spoke with her frequently at first, then it slowed down to a rather casual pacing. Subject seemed to trust him, and it was this that caused the decision for him to be assigned as her caretaker and steward to be made.
Personality: An argumentative old man at time, who takes his work dead seriously as with all matters in his care. He tends to be professional in his attitude, or lecturing depending on who he is talking too,...except around that “damned man and his slime”, where he seems to get competitive and disagree how each has preserved their minds for posterity...ugh. Incredibly smart, however, his work in studies of the undead has been a great boon, as has his work in assisting with monster girl hybridization to an extent. Further, he is proud of this nervous tissue synthesis/transcription having been useful in their own ways, the process playing a part in the synthesis of nervous tissues for new hybrid species in recent years.
However...he seems to have a soft spot for the one in his stewardship, among similar minor things at times when he has been exposed to certain monster girls or other individual. Kind, soft, but firm, it is a side of him not normally seen at all.
But lately, alongside his assignment as a caretaker/steward, he has continuing work related to the undead and old forbidden technology. This has led to rumors that he perhaps plans to engineer it for use against the undead tide, make an army of his own, or even turn his subject back to normal one day. Further rumors say he might be looking into more severe implementations such as “human tissue synthesis” on a larger scale than just neurons. No one but him really knows for sure...
