Yeah, to say that he wasn't doing the best mentally was a bit of an understatement. He was still concerned about the fact that Sunshine was still missing was concerning, and he had no idea what to do about that. Right now though he just wanted to be far away from everyone to try and wrap his head around everything that had happened earlier in the day, and later in the night. Nothing really made sense about anything, and currently he wanted to bang his head against the wall some more, but a part of him was pretty sure that others would hear the noise and probably bug him.

Of course, he didn't know what to do. Since apparently his father had messed with his head several months ago and now he was just trying to figure out the reason of why. Why would he have done that? Of course he knew next to nothing about his father, having only figured out that he was Mister Sinister during their last encounter. That was something that bugged him, the fact that he hadn't known who his father really was. Then again everything bugged him like crazy and he couldn't figure anything out, and the ironic thing was that the whole idea of figuring out the truth behind everything was supposed to be his day job.

Well everything seemed to work out in the end, somehow anyway. That was surprising to her, the idea that everything seemed to actually end alright without anyone dying or something. Sure there still was the problem of Sunshine as well as Max the Walking Disaster still being MIA, but everything else was alright. Sapphire was sitting off to the side in the Dining Room figuring that they hopefully were going to figure out their next move, and Veil starting to say something when she was interrupted by the most annoying speedster in the entire world, Pietro Maximoff.

"Wow, of course you've decided to stop by," she responded with an eye roll, before she shut her mouth somewhat when Pietro announced what it was that he had brought with him. Cures for M-Pox. That was definitely something that they could use, since she didn't know if she personally could handle anyone else dying from the disease, or even really anyone ending up dead or something like that. Yeah, she really needed to talk to Veil sometime later about a few things, since Veil really was the only person she told anything to.

She figured that everyone else was busy, so currently she was sitting on the floor off by herself with a screwdriver in her hand and Mr. Jaws sitting in her lap. Out of boredom, Zari tended to tinker with her electronics whenever she could. Especially since she was still in the process of trying to figure out how to give Mr. Jaws lasers for eyes. That would be useful now wouldn't it? Since that way she might have more uses for the robot in a fight aside from just getting annoyed with people and throwing him at her enemies. To be fair, it always was entertaining to watch people's reactions when Mr. Jaws showed how he got his name and would chomp down on people with his robotic jaw.

"Ok, la oss se hvordan dette blir... Dårlig Mr. Jaws, blir alltid banket opp, la oss se om å fikse deg," she muttered under her breath, tinkering a bit with the jaw as she tried to figure out what to do to potentially boost the robot head's fire power. Of course, she wasn't paying attention to what was going on around her, not at all noticing the speedster entering the room, since he was leaving rather quickly again. She did hear the commotion about something, regarding some sort of cure for this M-Pox or whatever it had been that was messing with the group.

"Not now Mr. Eyeball, I'm trying to fix up Mr. Jaws!"

Veil & Casper

Location: Mutant Underground: Dining Room -> Medical -> Jack's Room
Skills: Mediumship
Casper hated his father, but he really had forgotten what it was like to not be dying. His head was dizzy, not from being sick or anything, but from the rush of pure bliss from James picking him up and spinning him around. "But Satan did hand deliver it, Quicksilver is the Devil and my old man is like, the Super Devil - the devil that makes the devil do shit," Casper explained with some giggles. "He only sent us these cures because he wants us to do something for him, so he's pretending that he's nice, but he's really just as nice as someone who takes hot wax and shoves it up your asshole at sleep away camp."

He planted a sloppy kiss on James' forehead, snaking his arms around him. Even then, he was still fully aware of the conversations going on around him, and he snickered at Feedback's impression of his father. "I'm officially adopting you. That's hilarious and creepily accurate. And he doesn't use lotion, he uses axe body spray. It's so fucking gross." Whether or not Casper was telling the truth was anyone's guess. He hated Charles Xavier with a passion and would gladly push the old man in his wheelchair off of a cliff.

"Was it really?" Ben asked, raising an eyebrow. "He always struck me as more of an Old Spice guy."

"Does it really matter?" Casper argued.

Veil was doing a mental rundown of where everyone with M-Pox in their family was at the moment. Max was MIA with Sunshine, hopefully nothing too bad would happen before they could get a cure to him. Jack was somewhere in the building. Spark Plug was in medical. Glimpse was just sitting at the table and hadn't taken one of the bottles yet. Veil wasn't about to wait for Sapphire or James to take charge in distribution, she opened up the pill bottle and set a pill down in front of Glimpse. "Take this," she ordered. "I agree that this mission isn't our normal thing - and as crude as Casper is, he's right. Xavier gave us these cures, so now we need to return the favor. The X-Men are busy with Magneto, so we're going to have to handle the Hellfire Club and these vaccines. I'll be leading the mission. I want three or four others to come with me. The rest of you, we got a potential lead on Max and Sunshine, I'd like to send you all out to bring them home and cure Max before he dies."

She stood up from the table, holding the pill bottle. "I trust you all to know where your strengths are. The tip came from an unknown number, so I'd be prepared for anything. I put out the word on Max and Sunshine's disappearance throughout the Underground system, so it could be a Purifier trap if they got wind of it. I'm going to go give these to our friends upstairs." Veil paused for a moment, before leaving the dining room and going up the staircase. She went to medical and gave Spark Plug a pill, instructing her to take it. She then went into the hallway and decided to check Jack's room first. She opened the door and stuck her head inside. "M-Pox cure. Take it. Then I want you to lead a mission to bring Sunshine and Max home."

Sunshine

Location: Island M, the Bermuda Triangle
Skills: People Reading, Disease Manipulation
Sunshine's eyes were still a bit wide with fear as Max banished the ghost. The salt and the strange words had destroyed it, causing it to fade away into nothingness. She felt the rush of wind against her face and then the air was still. The strange palace that they were in was completely empty, void of anything except for Max and Sunshine. That wasn't what shocked her though - what surprised Sunshine so much was that Max actually cared about her safety. He had ran out into the hallway, right into the path of an angry spirit. He could have stayed behind and hid, only caring about himself. It didn't make any sense to her why he had done that. He had joined the people who killed Erg.

"Why'd you do that?" she asked him, her words not carrying their normal bite. "You shouldn't have done that. You put yourself in danger to help me..." The little orb of disease she had conjured to light her path was still in her hands and she stared at it for a moment, before something just clicked in her head. She took a deep breath and let the orb dissipate. Her head felt incredibly strange as she went against her base instincts and tried something new.

She put her hand on Max and a soft yellow glow formed, as she removed the M-Pox from his body. It hardened into a silver looking crystal in her hands and she let it drop on the ground unceremoniously. She felt feverish from the action. She had never managed to heal someone before like that. She could only stop diseases she had caused.

Waverley's half-smile broke out into a wide, uncontrollable grin as James swept Casper off his feet, peppering him with kisses. She'd been so wrapped up in the business of it all that she'd almost forgotten to let herself soak in the joy of knowing her friends were cured. So she did. She let James' exuberance infect her, like some sort of anti-M-Pox, spreading energy and glee throughout her body, buzzing with happiness. His sentiment was true; it didn't matter who brought the pills, or what they cost. The Underground was cured. That's what mattered. Her grin dissolved into laughing when Casper spoke.

"Axe body spray? I didn't even know that existed outside of middle schools," she joked, before her grin dimmed as Veil spoke. Right, back to the matter at hand. She nodded along with Veil's plan, swallowing the lump in her throat as the Underground leader gave them permission to arrange themselves. She'd at first been dead set on going to find Sunshine, but this also meant she'd be going after Max. Just thinking about him sent her mind on the fritz like static, threatening to pull her back into her most traumatic memory. After a few seconds, she spoke up to the others surrounded around the table.

"I'll help find Sunshine...and Max," she asserted. Her love for her friend won out over her disdain for Max, as love had the tendency of doing. "When Veil gets back, I'll see if I can learn anything about where that text came from." Her eyes then shot over to the new kid, Andy, and a look of uncertainty entered her eyes. She didn't like the idea of someone so young being in danger, but she also knew what it felt like to want to help.

"We'll see what Veil has to say, but...if you're sure you want to help, then you should come look for Sunshine," she offered, glancing over to Luna, Sapphire, James, and Echo for affirmation. Between the two missions, it seemed like the safer options. Even if it was a group of purifiers, they would probably be easier to take down than the Hellfire Club.

James Kingston

“Is that from personal experience, babes? That doesn’t sound very safe.” James chuckled at the comparison. Despite his boyfriend’s disdain for his father, James couldn’t very well get upset over Xavier sending them cures―super devil or not. He’d run headlong into dangerous missions all day if it meant everyone here was safe from a horrific decline into a sudden death. James beamed at the kiss, consent to snuggle with Casper for a minute while they had the chance. If only it could be longer than the five minutes. James might be riding a euphoria high now but he’d pieced back together a few injuries on top of Echo’s spinal cord and he was going to be sluggish without at least a nap, food or not.

Waverly volunteering herself to retrieve Sunshine wasn’t unexpected. He just hoped her working relationship with blunt force objects wouldn’t make itself known to Max while he was out of it. He wanted to go with her too; the whole situation probably had them both on edge and mixing those two while scared or angry was just asking for a bad time. He wanted to volunteer for that mission as well, if for no other reason than to make sure both of them were okay. He really wanted to but the fact of the matter was that it was the lower risk mission. Even if it was a trap, the Underground had made it out of a purifier attack involving tear gas with most of their members ill with M-Pox. Handling the Hellfire club though? As risky as it got. They had some serious heavyweights, if Magneto’s little display was anything to go by, so having someone who could help counter some of those lasting issues would benefit that team incredibly. Imagine if James hadn’t been around to help Echo at the time.

“I’ll head with Veil. They’ll probably need my help more considering how this morning went.” James decided, sending a glance at Echo. “We don’t need a repeat of what happened this morning.”

Max wasn't sure how to answer her. How does one explain an impulse? Its not that he didn't want to save her, but that he had no time to even think about it before he had done it. "Because regardless of whats happened, I don't want to see you get hurt ok?" His tone had changed, seemingly sounding like a tsundere would in this type of situation. The word idiot just hanging off the tip of his tongue. But none of that mattered now, because suddenly Sunshine placed her hand on him and a strange feeling began to take place within him. The words left his mind and he just felt a rush inside of him. As if she was calling to something deep inside.

The feeling coalesced in his chest where her hand rested, then it left him and became physical right before his eyes. He couldn't believe what he was seeing, nor could he believe how he was feeling. Max took a deep breath, filling his lungs with air and feeling no nausea, or pain as he did so. His eyes went wide and tears brimmed at the corners as he lurched forward and hugged her. "I don't know how but I feel good. Like before I had M-Pox." He sniffled a bit as he backed away from the hug to wipe his tears of joy. "I had forgotten what it was like to feel this way, to not feel an ache with every step, and every breathe. For the world to stop spinning...thank you."

Harry couldn't help but smile behind his cup of coffee as he watched James and Casper in delight. Everyone needed moments like this to break up the dark and somber times. It was a healthy reminder of what they were fighting for. Freedom. The freedom to be happy, to live unashamedly themselves, and to have little moments like this without the need of fear behind it. He took another long sip of his drink before placing the cup down, pinky out to soften its return to the table. "Alright Alright you two. That's enough kissing unless you got some spare for me ok?" He offered them a cheeky wink before grabbing a slice of bread and taking a small bite. He had planned on having his clones distribute the medication but it appeared Veil was already on it.

Harry watched as his twin walked away, working herself as usual instead of asking for others to bear a portion of the load. He closed his eyes for a moment, just sitting there as he listened to the world around him before he spoke up again. "I'll head with Waves. If this is sole purifier trap then at the very least I can increase our numbers and surprise them. Besides, Max is my roomate so I feel I should go find him." Harry pocketed one of the cures with him for Max to take when they found them. Worried about what they might face and having a tinge of fear in the back of his mind about what might have happened if he went to fight the Hellfire Club again.

Callie Johnson

Location: Mutant Underground - Medical

Callie felt another wave of nausea hitting her as she pulled her head out from the covers and vomited blood all over the floor again, looking down at the mess that she had made. She whipped away the blood and snot off of her lips and nose, and groaned slightly as she rolled back over onto her back looking up at the ceiling. Everything still felt like it was really spinning to her, she was about to close her eyes again and try to take another little nap when she heard footsteps approaching.

Callie slowly opened her eyes again seeing that it was Veil, instructing her to take something she looked down at the little pill in her hands. Thinking that it was actually candy instead she took it and popped it into her mouth and dry swallowed it as quickly as she could before laying back down and groaned slightly watching as Veil left the room to go and do something else.

Kristina Smith

Kristina thought for a moment where she would be more useful she didnt really like fighting against Purifers or the Hellfire Club but she decided that they might need some more help fighting against the Hellfire Club. "I'll go with the team against the Hellfire Club." Kristina said as she looked at both Casper and James, and gagged slightly seeing their little romance was weird to her really. Casper just seemed to be really weird.

Kris watched as Veil left the room to distribute the rest of the cure to the other members of the Underground who were really sick with m-pox. She got up and looked over at Zarina who was tinkering away with her robotic head, she leaned forward to see what she was doing exactly. "So what are you doing?" Kristina decided to ask, and looked at the weird floating eyeball thing next to her.

Luna Braddock - Glimpse

Location: Dining Room -- Washington D.C.
Skills:

Luna took the pill gratefully from Veil. It was like she was holding the most precious item in the world right now. She blinked a few times as the pill blurred in and out of focus due to her dizziness. Luna just hoped she would be able to get the pill down and keep it down so it could cure her. Her stomach had been unstable since she ate and she didn’t think throwing up the pill would be a very good thing, especially if they had a limited supply. Luna grabbed herself a glass of water and put the pill in her mouth and swallowed quickly. She would notice the effects of the pill working quickly as her nausea faded, along with her dizziness, bloodshot eyes and splottchy skin. She was still pretty exhausted but she hadn’t exactly slept well these past few days.
She settled back in her seat, drinking the rest of her water and couldn’t help the grin of relief as she was able to keep it down and didn’t feel nauseous. She couldn’t wait for the others to take the pill and start to feel healthier as well. It had been a long and terrifying journey for them all.
Veil left the room while Luna took the pill but everyone else started to list off where they were going to go. ”I’ll go with Veil,” Luna stated. If Xavier asked them to do this and he sent her here, she felt her services could be put to best use there. As for danger factor, each mission would have their own challenges.

Andy didn't care which team she was on. She did however want to make a good impression. "I'll go with Veil too." She decided. And maybe that would pay back what she owed Veil for giving her a place for the night. Andy wanted to prove herself useful and worthy of the warm bed. Even if she stayed a few days it was all she had to offer.

Though it was good they had cures. Almost as soon as each of the ones who had been suffering from M-Pox took their dosage they were already looking better. So far she hadn't gotten to know the ones who were sick very well because they were sick and often vomiting rather than talking. Andy only felt close to Zarina and Kristin. It helped that they were close in age (even if Zarina's age was confusing). Zarina seemed to forgive her for what she had said the day before as well thankfully.

Jack was still just more or less lost in his own thoughts when Veil suddenly opened the door to the room and poked her head into the room and started talking to him. Took a minute for his brain to realize what it was that she was saying, and after a moment he got up from where he was. "Seriously doubt these things showed up without some sort of catch, since when are we ever that lucky, alright I'll be there in a minute," he responded to her, taking another moment to sort of collect his thoughts before he headed out of the room.

He looked at the pill that Veil held out to him, and he took it from her before just swallowing it without water or anything. At least he didn't have to worry about dying from that stupid disease anymore. "So, what exactly is the plan with regards to finding them? Have you heard anything or whatever?" he asked her instantly, not sure what else to say with regards to it. All she had said was that he had to go see about going to find Max and Sunshine, he kind of needed a bit more information then that to go off of.

"I get it, that you don't like your dad Casper, blah blah blah, we all know that you don't so just shut up about it for the millionth time and be glad that at least he did give us the stuff so people aren't going to drop dead from it again," she snapped at Casper, beyond annoyed with him at the fact that he seemed to think that he should continue to state how much he hated Xavier. Sure, she didn't like Xavier anymore then the next person in all honesty, and she did agree that he tended to give them stuff when he wanted something, but now was not the time.

She was half paying attention to the rest of the nonsense that was being spouted out of his mouth, but she did pay attention at least somewhat on how people seemed to be organizing to go off into the different groups to go on the different missions. "I'll go deal with the Hellfire Club, sounds like a whole lot of fun to me," she commented with a bit of a shrug, not sure what else to say. Sapphire really didn't know what to do, so going off to deal with the Hellfire Club would be fun, who knew how things were going to go right?

Zari was still not paying attention to what was going on around her. She heard the conversation continuing about the cures or whatever, she still wasn't even sure what M-Pox or whatever it was had been. All she knew was that apparently it was a really dangerous disease and a lot of people here have had it. Definitely not something she'd ever really want, but she's never caught it, so maybe that had something to do with when she decided to pop up? Yeah that was theorizing for another day as one of the people came over to her and started asking her what she was doing.

"Seeing if I can upgrade Mr. Jaws a bit... I mean my mom helped me a little bit with making Mr. Eyeball, but Jaws here is the entirely my own, so I've been working on him still, maybe trying to figure out how to give him lasers or something, since to me that would be fun," she said to Kristina with a bit of a shrug, still tinkering away with the robotic head. The floating eye was more or less just circling around her, and it seemed to be watching Kristina whether it was out of boredom or not, who ever really knew what the eye was thinking aside from Zari?

Veil & Casper

Location: Mutant Underground: Dining Room / Jack's Room -> Hallway -> Entranceway -> Dining Room -> Entranceway -> Garage
Skills: Mediumship
"Everything I say is from personal experience," Casper said with a wink. "Although, you have to take it all with a grain of salt - since I was high off my ass pretty much for the past twenty or so years straight," he finished with a bit of a giggle. He pouted slightly hearing that James was going to go on the Hellfire mission. A lot of people were declaring themselves for that, and he knew that Veil said she wanted a small group, so he supposed that he ought to go look for his niece. Besides, they were apparently at a strip club. He loved the Glitter Factory. He couldn't wait to fill his pockets with glitter and then put it all in James' hair while he was sleeping.

Havok had been uncharacteristically quiet so far, just picking apart his food before eating it. He hadn't said much of anything to anyone, but who could blame him? He had two choices. He could continue to believe that Polaris was being controlled by Magneto - or he could accept that she was acting under her own volition, that he had been the one trying to control her instead of the Master of Magnetism. He didn't like either option. "I'm going on the Hellfire mission," he said bluntly, the first words he'd really said since the incident.

"I'm gonna hit the strip club - I mean, go after my precious, smelly niece," Casper said. He was a little excited at the prospect of going clubbing. Maybe if the Hellfire mission finished early, James could meet him there. He would love to see his boyfriend dancing around a pole. He was convinced that James would be a natural at it. Whether or not he believed that Sunshine and Max were there was another story - if Max had teleported them, well, his magic was a bit shitty at times, so it wouldn't have really surprised Casper too much.

Up on the second floor, Veil walked with Jack from his room to back outside of medical, so that way Spark Plug could hear their conversation. "We got a tip through the Underground network that someone may have spotted them at a strip club downtown called the Glitter Factory. I'm taking people on a job for Xavier - that payment for the cures you mentioned - and the rest will be with you. Bring the kids home, okay? Spark Plug, I want you on the mission with Jack. We don't know what sort of volatile mood Sunshine and Max will be in after being forced together for a few hours, so your empathy skills might be needed."

She then motioned for them to follow her, heading down the stairs into the entranceway and then into the dining room where the rest were assembled. "Have you sorted yourselves into teams?" she asked. She saw Havok nod and Casper flash two thumbs up, wiggling his thumbs at the same time. "Good. Sapphire, I'm guessing that you're with me. You're driving. Those of you on the rescue mission, Jack is in charge. Listen to him."

She then motioned again for the Hellfire mission group to follow her, as Veil headed to their garage and got into their white van, taking shotgun. Havok followed after her and climbed into the seat behind the driver.

Sunshine

Location: Island M, the Bermuda Triangle
Skills: N/A
Sunshine looked horribly repulsed as Max hugged her, squinting her eyes as if he had been sprayed by a skunk prior to hugging her. "Hug me again and I'll shove a rock down your throat," she threatened. She secretly liked hugs, but she wasn't about to share that with Max. She may have apparently cured him of M-Pox or whatever - but.... Her mood plummeted. She had cured Max of M-Pox. She had cured Max of all people. Her eyes started to water as Magik came to mind. Why had she been able to save Max and not her? Was the universe homophobic?! Why was Max allowed to recover and not her?!

She clenched her hands, forming two little fists. "If y-you're done being a baby, we need to get out of here and get back to.... to everyone," she said, her words soft and unfocused. Her heart wasn't really in it. Usually insulting Max brought her a great deal of joy. Instead, her realization that she had been able to cure M-Pox all along but failed to do it for the person who mattered most was shaking her to the core. It was her fault then that Magik died. She had no one to blame but herself.

Waverley turned her head to Echo, giving him a small nod when he volunteered to go with her to seek out Sunshine and Max. Her hopeful expression shifted, however, when most of the other Underground members immediately jumped at the chance to face the Hellfire Club. Even the youngest among them, one of the teens they recently adopted into their lifestyle, chose to go with Veil in spite of Waverley's suggestion.

By the time they were done picking teams, the Sunshine and Max Recovery Team was sitting pretty at three members: Echo, Casper, and herself. It was a bit concerning to her how light they were traveling in terms of members, especially considering Casper's glee in regard to going to a strip club. Veil coming back down and voicing their last two members didn't much help matters. She was happy to have Callie on board, but having Jack lead the team was...unsettling to say the least. He was supposedly cured of whatever psychotic bug was lingering in his head, but she couldn't help but worry that he'd snap once more when he saw Sunshine. It didn't seem like a sound choice to her. She was so enveloped in her worry that by the time she thought to ask Veil for her phone, she was gone.

"Shit...I didn't get a chance to scan Veil's phone, to see what we could learn about whoever sent that text," she muttered, her brow frustrated furrowed.

Callie slowly stood up and cracked her neck slightly after having spent awhile in bed feeling really sick, she started to feel better as she listened to Veil giving her instructions and nodded towards her. "Sounds good to me then." Callie said as she started to follow shortly behind Veil and back down towards the dining room where the others were. Seeing those who were going with Veil and Sapphire to fight the Hellfire Club. She was feeling better now then she had been in awhile, but still wasnt sure if she was up for another fight after feeling like death for so long now.

"Lets get going then, i'll drive us there." Callie said as she turned and started to make her way towards the garage getting into one of the cars. "So, whats the plan anyway?" Callie asked looking over towards Jack since he was the leader of this little mission, she didnt mind that he was the leader despite being under control of Mr. Sinister for so long.

"I'm sure that you will be able to find a way to upgrade him." Kristina said as she looked at the eyeball for a moment as it stared at her, she felt a little bit freaked out about it but didnt say anything really. She turned her attention towards the stairs as she watched Veil, and then shortly behind her Callie did. She turned to look over at Zarina for a moment she hadnt volunteered for which mission to go for really she noticed. "You might want to think about which group you want to go with by the way we have a mission." Kris said as she stood up and stretched slightly.

She was eager to go and fight the Hellfire Club people again, she thought that she would be well enough to handle fighting them as well to though she hoped that the fire guy would show up Kristina looked at Sapphire and Veil. "So whats the plan when we fight them?" Kristina asked as she got into the back of the van.

James Kingston

James shot Echo an unimpressed look at his comment. There were absolutely no extra kisses for Echo; all of his were Casper's and Casper's only. Echo probably meant it "all in good fun" kinda way but James knew it was only a matter of time until everyone else saw Casper the way he did. Quirky, energetic, loyal, and attractive as fuck, James found his boyfriend, wierd and traumatic past included, absolutely adorable. The man woke up everyday and faced his literal fears without relying on his self destructive crutches and most of Mutant Underground treated him like a carnival show. Bravest one out of all of them, in James' opinion. James wasn’t certain he’d have the same perseverance in his shoes. James still woke up in the middle of the night sobbing because his own ghosts crept in when he was most vulnerable. Fuck what Wanda made him into.

James focused on the issue at hand, pushing that mess of emotions out of the way. No time like the present to ignore your problems. He frowned as he counted the people who joined Veil's team. Sapphire and Luna and two of the new girls all jumped on after James decided. James definitely wasn't comfortable letting two unknowns, or lesser known considering their tussle this morning, run on a mission involving the Hellfire but he trusted Veil and if she trusted them to figure themselves out, he'd roll with that. Still, they'd overshot Veil's original numbers. The group had to prioritize stealth over numbers so James reconsidered. Since Sapphire followed the only one who tolerated her like a stray puppy, that would be two sets of skills on one team. That left the others without a patcher upper and that was dangerous too.

“Since the other group's filled up, I'll swap over to the rescue mission. Don't want to leave you guys without a medic." James decided, untangling himself from Casper now that they were ready to set out. He leaned over and hugged Luna tight. “Congrats on being cured. Let’s hang out now that you aren’t dying once everyone gets back. Stay safe please.” James let her go and slipped his hand into Casper’s, tugging him out after Spark Plug.

Luna sighed happily, feeling more like herself as each minute passed. She wished for a few hours of sleep but there was no rest for the wicked as they say. Veil returned and Luna stood up, ready to go and fight the Hellfire Club again. She had been up against them a couple of times now and Luna had more fight in her when it came to the rivalry there.
Luna turned to follow Veil, wishing it was James going with them rather than Sapphire but after she jumped on board with Veil, James bowed out. James stopped her though and hugged her, expressing his happiness and made her laugh. ”Thanks for keeping me alive. Yes, we do need to do something.” They hadn’t had much time to really talk and Luna wanted to talk about this weird connection they had.
Luna waved goodbye to James and headed after the others. She jumped into the van, taking the seat behind Veil. Luna waited for the other two before asking Veil what the plan was. They needed to narrow down what transports of the vaccines the Hellfire Club were going to hit.

Andy didn't entirely follow the conversations, but she was listening. Trying to understand and follow. At least some things were starting to make sense. She followed the Hellfire group to the garage and climbed into the back seat of the car. She folded up pretty well back there and at least she wasn't in the way there. Zarina hadn't chosen a team, but she hoped that the weird green-haired girl would be on their team. Though the other one was really low on people so it would make sense for her to go there.

In the car, she smiled at Kristina. At least one of the other new people was with her. So she wouldn't be alone in needing questions answered if something happened. There was some irony that Andy wasn't aware of, Kristina was hoping for the fire guy to show up, and Andy was very against it.

She pulled her jacket a little tighter around her, it was unzipped. She didn't plan on zipping it ever again in case someone with magnetic ability tried to pick it up and carry her with it. She had loved her jacket cause she could put her electricity through the little spikes and anyone who tried to touch her regretted the decision. Now that she had to consider how dangerous it could be for her safety she was worried. Of course, she wouldn't get rid of the jacket. It had been given to her by Ash.

Max felt her body instinctualy repulse just before he let go and backed away. He expected a punch, or sickness, or even just for her to bash him over the head with the M-Pox ball but nothing. Just a threat that felt almost empty as he watched his expression plummet. It was hard to see with the water that welled up in his eyes but he could almost swear she looked as if she was going to tear up. He knew it wasn't happiness, no something changed and it was something he had said to her. That's when it clicked, she cured him of M-Pox but she lost Magik to it. His hands balled up for a moment before the tension released and he wished to hug her again but in comfort. Instead Max knelt down and pocketed the metallic ball into his bag. Making sure not to touch it with any skin contact.

"Im really sorry about that. Truly. But you're right, we need to find a way out of here and get back to everyone. Maybe..." His voice trailed off into thought as he didn't want to speak it into words. But maybe when they returned he could go to an internet cafe and do some research or head to a library or contact Doctor Strange. Someone Somewhere had to have an idea of what took Magik and how to get her back. Sunshine had done him a huge favor by ridding him of his disease, perhaps he could do the same in easing her burden of what had transpired. But for now he didn't want to give her hope. He didn't want to promise something he couldn't follow through with. After all he said he would protect Leighton and well...

Max's eyes began to well up again as he sniffled. Wiping the tears away he began to walk down the hallway, looking about and searching for anything that would be able to help them out. Pushing back his thoughts and focusing solely on this one task. Just one foot before the other and nothing more. He hadn't found a boat, or car, or even a fridge full of food, but what he did find was invaluable. A book of spells. More ways for him to practice and almost as if it was a gift from the Scarlett Witch herself. Max grabbed the book, flipping through the pages as he saw countless spells in it and thought of the potential to reach Wanda's power. "Nothing that can help us in the here and now but definitely handy for later." After all if he could rewrite reality, he could bring back Magik, Erg, and Waverlys Mom.

Harry's eyes widened slightly, just barely enough for a very perceptive person so see his faux pas. He immediately lifted his mug up to his lips and began to quietly sip at the coffee as he watched Sapphire berate Casper for what appeared to be the least of their problems. All he could think to himself was booooy Sapphire was meeeessssyyyy. But he'd never voice that allowed. He didn't know her like that and wasn't in the underground long so it was best not to make enemies where he didn't need some. His eyes now averted towards the couple again, James gave him a look that clearly asked him to back off and so he did. Hands up as if in defeat, he took another sip of his coffee and looked at the only safe space, the ceiling.

It was cute, if not nauseating, how James defended Casper. Figures the boy with a healing factor would go after someone as broken as Casper with daddy issues to boot. It was the ultimate fixer upper, and all he wished was that he truly cared for him and wouldn't get bored after he's polished up and fixed. Ofcourse Harry couldn't stay in his thoughts forever, Veil finally coming back and leaving almost as fast. The weight of the world seemed to be trapped in those curls, and he only wished he could help her carry it. He wasnt exactly happy with the team leader however, still feeling there was more to this mornings incident than what had transpired. Placing his mug down, Harry crossed his arms and leaned against the edge of the table. "So whats the move Jack? How are we going to handle this?" He nodded towards the rest of his clones, signaling them all to come back. Without so much as a scene Harry pulled them back into himself as if it was another Friday night.

He followed along after Veil as she starting talking about what was going on with the different missions to deal with different things, one group going after the tip to find Sunshine and Max, the other dealing with the Hellfire Club. There was the small part of his brain that was still kicking himself for earlier was wondering why the hell Veil was even trusting him to deal with this or whatever. Yeah like this was going to probably be a walk in the park, since when were they so lucky for that? "Alright, if you say so," Jack said to her, before following her to where everyone else was.

Of course, he was more then a little confused as to why the pair would be at a strip club of all places. That was not the first place he would have thought for them to appear. Actually when thinking about it, it sounded flat out ridiculous, and he wasn't sure if he actually wanted them to be there or not. Yeah, this was going to be fun. Callie offered to drive and people were asking him what the plan was. Well this was a new experience, since he didn't typically lead anyone and at his job he worked alone sooooo. Yup this was weird. "Be on guard and careful, since is it just me or does that sort of place sound like the last place they would be? Not to mention if they were there you'd think someone would have the brains to either call or head back here. That's about all I got to say about it let's go," he said to the group as he followed Callie to the garage and got into the passenger seat of the car.

"...I personally don't really care what group I'm in... Any works, as long as I get to do something and maybe get to use Glowstick if there is trouble," she said, setting down her screwdriver and picking up the flashlight. Of course she wasn't dumb enough to openly carry her sword around, since she figured that people would probably freak out seeing a kid carrying a sword around. That's why she was happy that the sword was enchanted to be able to shift to and from the more mundane object. Everyone seemed to be heading off though, and she really needed to choose a group.

"01011010 01100001 01110010 01101001 00100000 01110011 01101111 00100000 01110111 01101000 01100001 01110100 00100000 01100111 01110010 01101111 01110101 01110000 00100000 01100001 01110010 01100101 00100000 01110111 01100101 00100000 01100111 01101111 01101001 01101110 01100111 00100000 01110111 01101001 01110100 01101000 00100000 01100001 01101110 01111001 00100000 01100010 01101001 01100111 00100000 01100100 01100101 01100011 01101001 01110011 01101001 01101111 01101110 01110011 00100000 01101101 01100001 01100100 01100101 00100000 01111001 01100101 01110100 00111111" the eyeball beeped at her.

"Not sure... But probably should choose some group so I'm not left alone..." she muttered. Problem was, she was only half paying attention to what was going on and hadn't really heard anything about what they were doing. Yeah she probably should pay more to what's going on around her. "Uh... Guess I'll go with the group to go find people?" she said, before getting up off of the ground, keeping a hold of Mr. Jaws and Glowstick, she followed along after Callie and Jack to the garage, and Mr. Eyeball was floating along after her.

"Of course I'm going with you Veil, would I go with any other group? Especially since I know for a fact you can't drive a car," she said with a bit of a smirk, before she headed out of the Dining Room and to the larger white van that Veil and a few others had already gotten into and she took her place in the driver's seat before starting up the car. This was going to be a fun adventure that was for sure. There was another reason that she had jumped on board with the Hellfire Club mission, one that she wasn't too keen on sharing.

She wanted to get into a fight.

Her powers were a bit on the fritz, maybe it was partially because she was still hesitant to use them after what had happened to Cayden, but what she did know was a part of her wanted to get into a fight to see if that could potentially jumpstart them and get them back to normal. It was what she was hoping anyway, but she wasn't too sure if it would work out that way, and at the moment, she didn't really care at all. "Havok better not kick my seat while we're driving along the road or something like that," she managed to joke, seeing that Havok had taken the place behind the driver's seat. "So Veil, where exactly am I driving to? That would be a good thing to know..."

Casper Theriot

Location: Mutant Underground: Garage
Skills: Mediumship
It felt like Christmas morning to Casper, realizing that James was indeed going to be coming with them! He was going to a strip club with his two favorite people in the world, both of who had a name starting with the letter J! He wondered briefly if Sinister's real first name also started with the letter C and if that would explain his mother. He still didn't understand how she found his father attractive at all. But then also, given the significant age gap between them, Casper doubted that their relationship had ever been all on the up and up as well.

"I think that our first step should be margaritas," Casper suggested. "I remember Sunshine told me once her favorite place to hide was at the bottom of a bottomless alcohol beverage in a strip club!" He grinned widely at his brother, hoping that he would just sigh and accept the fact that they would be getting drinks on this rescue mission. "And we all know Max would love a male strip club - the Glitter Factory is a male strip club, by the way, for those of you playing along at home," he added. "Maybe Max strips there. He could dress in drag as the Scarlet Bitch!"

He waited for James to get into the car first, since Casper not-so-secretly wanted to sit in James' lap to "save space" for others.

"Casper, come on, maybe be serious about this?" Ben prompted with a sigh.

Veil

Location: Mutant Underground Garage
Skills: Invisible Energy Manipulation
Veil had a bad feeling about this entire mission. The address Quicksilver had given her was more than foreboding - it was terrifying. And she knew that that was the real reason the X-Men weren't showing up on this job. If the X-Men went to this place and the media got news of it, it would set back mutant rights for decades. The Mutant Underground though could be written off as a small group of insane people, probably even just lumped in with the Hellfire Club, and shipped off to the Raft while the X-Men remained the perfect mutant citizens. "The Eisenhower Executive Office Building," Veil told Sapphire, her voice feeling hollow. "Right next door to the White House," she added.

Veil closed her eyes for a brief moment, concentrating on the car and everyone inside of it. Slowly, the car vanished from sight, becoming invisible. No one from the outside would be able to see them, but crucially everyone inside of the car could still see. If they were seen at all, the Secret Service would be all over them in swarms, even though they were the good guys. Who would believe them though? It also didn't help that the current president was the ex-leader of O.M.E.N., an organization infamous for killing mutants. Veil didn't buy that he was reformed. People like that didn't just change overnight.

"So this is a suicide mission," Havok commented, breaking his silence.

"If we get caught, yeah," Veil answered honestly. "We're expendable. Xavier doesn't give life saving cures without a price." She wasn't bitter though. She knew that Xavier had to make choices and decisions to protect mutants across the globe - she had signed up for this, accepted the reality that in order to help others she herself would be in danger. The others had too when they joined the Mutant Underground. "If anyone wants out, say the word. Last chance."

Sunshine

Location: Island M, the Bermuda Triangle

Sunshine's mood was pretty soured now. It was much easier to be upset than it was to be happy, so she decided to just wallow in her poor temper. "Is that a spell book or something?" she asked. She couldn't read the title really, due to her poor reading skills, but it looked old and musty to her which usually in the movies meant an ancient book of spells. Hearing that the book didn't help that at all just caused her irritation levels to rise. What was the point of Max having magical powers if he could only use them to strand them on a weird island and not get them back to D.C.?

"If I have to pick between dying talking to you or a coconut here, I'm picking the coconut," she muttered bitterly. Yup, Sunshine's prickliness was back in full force. Had someone just walked into the room at that moment, they wouldn't have had any idea that Sunshine and Max had reached a major milestone in their frenemy relationship. "Like seriously, what's the point of you being a wizard or whatever if you can't just poof us back to DC? Magik could've done it blindfolded," Sunshine complained, sniffling slightly. Her stomach then growled loudly.

"I kind of have to agree with you, it does smell like a trap but it's the only lead that we have right now though sadly." Callie said as the others got into the car and started it up, pulling out of he garage and started up the road. She just hoped that the two of them were okay, and would make their way back to the Underground again. Callie looked over her shoulder for a moment towards Casper and shook her head slightly, she was pretty sure that both sunshine and Max were minors still and couldnt even drink. She looked at everyone for a moment and then over at Jack.

She wasnt the team leader for this little mission, however though she could understand the reasoning since Jack was Sunshine's father after all as well to. "Though I do think that we all should stick together, and stay in each others line of sight just to be on the safe side." Callie suggested as she continued to drive towards their destination.

Kristina Smith

Location: The Car

Kristina sat near the back while looking over at Andy for a moment the only new person who decided to join the group, as Sapphire got into the car and started it up she leaned back slightly as she listened to Veil as she gave the directions where they were going. And being near the White House didnt sound like a good idea at all either. Secret Service and local police would probably be on them in seconds as well to, as she looked at Veil and shook her head slightly, she was going to stay no matter what.

"I'm staying with you guys." Kristina said, maybe her sister would be able to bail them out if they did end up getting imprisoned or something, Kris decided to look out the window and ran a hand through her hair slightly as she watched some cars and trees went by as well. "So what else should we expect anyway?" Kristina decided to ask.

"Would they be able to get into a strip club?" Waverley pondered, flashing a glance over to Casper. His party boy past might be able to come in handy, figuring out if the pair of teens would be able to get in. "Sunshine's eighteen, and Max doesn't strike me as much older. If they serve alcohol, they probably won't let anyone younger than 21 in. Hell, I probably won't even be able to get in, being ninetee-...wait, what's the date?" Her thoughts were derailed as she pulled her phone out of her pocket, clicking it to open up the lock screen.

"Oh man, I missed my birthday...doesn't matter, I still won't be able to get in." There was a certain innocent sorrow to her voice at the realization, but she quickly shoved it away as she looked back up to find Callie and Jack were already making their way out towards the garage. She quickly got up, her chair squeaking as it scooted out, and followed behind them. When they crawled into the car, Waverley took up the seat right behind Callie.

"Hard to plan for something when we don't know exactly what to expect. That said, I can see about getting into the club's security cameras before we go inside. If Sunshine's there, she should stick out like a sore thumb; I don't think she has anything that'd resemble clubbing attire," she plotted, before her attention was pulled instead to the green-haired girl. She sighed, having hoped that the child would stay behind, safe and cozy in the hideout. She pulled out her phone, beginning to type, but as she did, she spoke."Zari, right? Welcome to the Mutant Underground, in case nobody’s formally said it. Couple things: First of all, we're gonna have to try to be stealthy. So you might not want to carry that...robot head thing out in the open. Or the floating eyeball. Second, if we do need to fight, we fight to incapacitate, not to kill. Third...please don't die."
