Torvi weaved her way through people towards the bar, keeping very alert of her proximity to the stumbling, drunk fools of the bar. Last thing they needed was for someone to knock into her and somehow cause her ears to be revealed. While she had confidence that not many would notice, it still wasn’t a risk she wanted to take. She made it to the bar and patiently waited for the bartender. A man beside her looked over and smiled stupidly at her to which she promptly ignored him. However, when he opened his mouth to speak she gave him a look that seemed to deter him and make him turn back to his drink.

Finally the bartender came over and she ordered two more meads while sliding her stolen amas over to the man. As time went on the tavern seemed to be getting busier, much to Torvi’s surprise. It still seemed pretty early in the day for people to be drinking, but maybe things were different here. Or maybe life was just rough enough that people drank more often to help them to forget things. That was something she could understand, after all weren’t her and Bowyn doing the same thing?

As the bartender brought the drinks back, a man had entered the tavern and quickly made his way up to the bar. ”Hey Alatri, have you heard what happened yet in the marketplace? Apparently someone tried to assassinate some pompous Light Elf governor!” The man explained and it caught Torvi’s attention a bit. An assassination attempt on a governor of this world? How intriguing…

She took her drinks and left to head back to their table, her mind now pondering what she’d heard. She set the mead down in front of Bowyn before she sat down herself. ”So I just overheard something interesting. Apparently there was an assassination attempt on some Light Elf governor in the marketplace.” She told him before taking a drink of the fresh alcohol. She savored it for a moment before speaking what was on her mind. ”Do you think it could have been orchestrated by some rebels?” Her tone was hushed as she asked him his opinion.

Elthrael Vol'Kerno

Time: Morning
Place: Roshmi

The male fairy had given a slight scoff at Elsea's words, how things had turned out for the worse inbetween them.

'Such ungratefulness for being alive. Those which do not value life is not going to last long in it.' He thought to himself, watching the redhaired woman with cold eyes. That's when she decided to pull a stunt with her mystical power over the flame, lighting a small flame in his lap. This caused Elthrael to rush up to his feet completely, his face serious and his mannerisms defensive. His movement was swift, and while he seemed like he wanted to say something in the heat of the moment he didn't, as he brushed off his clothing.

"The power is not a toy." He said through gritted teeth, his fists tightening as he stood before the gathering by the table.

"Those who do not respect the power, will end up being consumed by it. Remember that well..." He said in a snarling manner, spreading his mothlike wings before ascending into the air. Where he began to hover for a moment, giving the gathering one final look before he dashed away into the air, vanishing over a building. As he flew his mind gathered upon what he had now confirmed.

'To awaken that anger in her is the only way she will be of any use. To control a mere candleflame will not matter against the lich. Perhaps if one poke her enough times her rage will consume her and anyone else near her. Though that would be problematic with the princess present. She must be removed from the rest.' The fairy mused in his own thoughts, as he flew over several of the houses, before landing on one.

'Oh well, maybe they will get caught by the dark elves, if that is the case the princess will most likely be spared to be brought before the lich. Too bad I will not allow either the dark elves or that mangy vulpine have their way with her.' He softly began to chuckle to himself as he sat down at the top of the building, looking down to the various people traversing below.

'Now pray tell, where are the rest of these humans hiding?' He pondered as he spotted a nearby clothing line with a dark brown cloak and hood being dried, the dark winged fairy flew over and balanced his feet on the line before reaching down to pick them from the line. They were dry. A slight disguise for a search of the city. Elthrael flung the cape around him and attached it softly, he didn't want it to hinder him too much, and be able to discard it quickly if he had to, the hood was attached to it. He pulled it over his head and then took off, landing abit further away. Where he began to wander the streets, his hands and arms hidden under the cloak alongside his mothlike wings.

The city was vast as it was crowded, there was a lack of trees in Elthrael's view. He would never find ease in staying at this place for too long. The thought struck him just how long he had stayed in the forests near the river kingdom. The fairy finally decided to fly up and sit at a large withered tree at the border to the old graveyard. Just past the stone wall and close to the old gate.

"Well isn't this a lively place. At least it's a change from the flamehairs…" He said in a low manner to himself, his gaze falling to the nearby streets he could see from his vantage point.

Xenelith

Time: Morning
Location: Roshimi City
Interaction with: Azriel@Tae, Umber@FunnyGuy, O'Ner@Eviledd1984, Jack@Alivefalling

Xenelith’s eyes threw daggers at Azriel for her comment. What could the dark-winged demi-human know about the enemy? She had never met them. Though he quickly realized that this was just how Azriel was. She had taunted everyone except for Umber so far. Perhaps a more laid back ally wouldn’t be so bad. For the moment at least. The Dark Elf commander swallowed his petty anger with the next gulp of wine and listened to O’Ner. The undead general had a strange confidence to him. Then again, it wasn’t misplaced. “You shouldn’t worry about the little princess.” He said. “I’ve laid out a lure they cannot ignore, in a trap they cannot escape. If she is truly in Roshimi, and I am almost certain she is, then she will be captured within two weeks.”

The mansion offering Xenelith and his troops residence was a true marvel of construction and architecture. On Daka such a grand edifice of plenty could never be built. Water flowed in small rivers and canals through the green gardens to eventually join together in a stream that cascaded over a cliff and into the sea beyond. Like all noble houses, it wasn’t just a singular building but a complex made up of wings and central hallways. Grand domes adorned the spires jutting out from the ground. Offering beautiful views of Roshimi or the azure sea beyond. The walled complex’s main gate led to a white-stone plaza with at the center a gentle fountain carved in the likeness of an owl demi-human. On the right side of the plaza were the stables and the menagerie. Beyond those, there was a relatively sizeable, well-tended field for the creatures to run around in from time to time. On the left side of the plaza were the somber servants quarters. A low building with but a few windows. Beyond the plaza were the stairs and eventually the entrance to the grand doors of the main hall. Within you’d find the entrance hall. On the right side, there was a large door leading to the ballroom for festive occasions. A beautiful mirrored wall allowed one to observe all of their own moves. On the left side, the door led to the grand dining hall. Straight on would lead you to the main parlor and eventually the main study. Upstairs were various more private libraries, studies, and rooms. It was in the left wing’s upper story where the Sycamores were housed, and down in the servants quarters the dark elves resided. From the small towers flanking the main gate onto the plaza, Aklenroth’s banners flew for everyone to see. Gossips had already spread about the presence of Dark Elves in the mansion.

“We should be doing something.” A Dark Elf soldier said as he paced around the room. Hopelessly anxious. As if an army would be knocking down the gates at any moment. “We should be out there. Patrolling the walls. Guarding the prisoners. Not sit in here waiting for the inevitable.” His fellow soldiers looked equally unnerved. Some tried to occupy their minds with chess or dice. In the other room, you could hear the soft clangs of steel hitting steel.

“Calm yourself.” Leandron said as he was leaning back in his chair, with feet on the table, as he kept his eyes on the book he was so engrossed in. “When the time comes we move. Not before. Sit down and play some games.”

The soldier didn’t take Leandron’s advice. He kept strolling back and forth. “What is the commander thinking? Just let a patrol of three guard the whole house!? If they barge through the front gate none of us will be ready to take them.”

“The guards are to let them through without a fight.” Leandron said absentmindedly.

“They what?” the soldier turned towards his superior. “We’re not even going to give them a fight? They could just walk in here and take the prisoners?”

“Exactly. Now you know there is nothing you can do to stop them from entering. So sit down and contain yourself.” Leandron said. Annoyance was rising in his voice.

The dark elf didn’t sit down. Instead, he slammed his first down on the table Leandron was resting his feet on. “We should be doing everything to keep them away from the prisoners!”

Leandron peered from beyond his book for a moment, before putting it down. “No.” He said. “We let them reach the prisoners without drawing blood. Are you that thick-skulled that you never noticed it?”

The soldier looked confused and a little angry. But said nothing.

“The prisoners. They’re only the women. The ones that can heal us when this damned city finally explodes.” Leandron said.

“Then where are the men?” the soldier asked.

“On Daka.”

Both men paused for a second. Slowly it dawned to the soldier. “They’re bait.”

Leandron picked up his soldier’s trail of thoughts: “Yes. And the prisoners know, if they run, a message gets send to Daka to kill their brothers. You see now? We don’t need chains, bars or locks. You hold an axe over the head of those they love and they’ll do exactly as you tell them.”

“Then why are we sitting here and not with the lure? To capture the princess.” The soldier asked.

“Because my friend, we are the trap. The ambush. Once they’ve reached the prisoners that will never leave their rooms, we jump them. We seal the gate and capture them all. Now sit down and relax. When the time comes, we’ll have the princess and her group in chains.”

“A far more dangerous person has entered the city today. Terneus.” His eyes went over every person sitting at the table. Could he trust them? He only just met them but then again, they were probably far more loyal than most other company. O’Ner was undead and Umber was a demon. Azriel seemed far too cruel to be a spy. And while Xenelith did not yet fully trust the human, his obvious bloodlust made him at least somewhat respectable. “It would’ve been a coincidence if he had marched into Roshimi from his own lands. But he didn’t. He came from the River Fairy Kingdom. Right after Risa rose up in defiance.” His eyes darted once more over his company. Even the girl Azriel had just kissed. Words that fell into the wrong hands could be used against him. Could he truly trust everyone here? "He's a menace who should've died a century ago. I don't trust him and I dislike him being here." He kept his words relatively civil. Though a demon like Umber would no doubt pick up on the intense hatred he felt for the Light Elf governor. It wasn't like the fresh, fury he felt for Kyran. This rage was deep and seethed.

He took the skaula and observed it. Should he take it? At any moment he could be summoned to the mansion. "This could be the last bit of fun I get for a few years." With a single bite, he downed the drug. His mind made up, he shifted his attention to one of the girls send to O'Ner. She was tall for a demi-human. Her long black hair cascaded down her back. With just whisps of cloth leaving just enough to the imagination. The cat ears and tail made her deviate from his desire but the skaula would take care of that. "I think you won't mind that I take one of your girls, O'Ner." He said, though he didn't wait before he beckoned the girl to him. As she approached he took the ubara, gave a quick wink to Umber, pulled the girl on his lap and softly whispered in her ear as he offered her the drug: "Take it." She took it with a playful but practiced giggle.

O'Ner Faister

O'Ner didn't appropriate the stunt Azriel was pulling, He felt like giving her a good slap across the head but he did not want to instigate a fight and ruin the "fun" his comrades were having. He had considered changing his form to interact more personally with these woman, However he felt strange being flirtatious with other women when he was once married to a loving and loyal wife. O'Ner thought about Xenelith's plan and how he was planning to capture the rebel leader, "A interesting idea, i am thinking of the many possibilities of your plan" O'Ner was tapping his long boney finger against the armchair he was sitting in. He was starting to get annoyed with everyone pestering him to loosen up and transform into a demi-human, If him shape shifting into another person and relaxing would get his comrades off of his back then so be it.

Moving a woman that was cuddling up beside him so he could stand up and walk away, Heading towards the washroom making sure to throw out a drunk male that was urinating on the floor. A few moments later a tall middle aged man came out of the bathroom, Wearing clothing that is similar to a farmer. The middle age man had short shaggy light blonde hair with small peppers of grey hair. Bright blues eyes was looking back and forth to the patrons, Something noticeable of his facial features was his square jaw, heighten cheekbones, and strangely seemed to be quite handsome. This was all an approximation of what he looked like when he was alive. Walking back to his spot sitting beside the raven haired woman from before, Taking a few deep breaths the demi-human O'Ner then pour himself a glass of wine.

Looking over at Xenelith after he had took a sip of his wine, Leaning over to whisper something to him. "He is uncontrollable we will need someway to put a leash on him" He stood back up straight taking another sip of his wine. Using his free arm to bring the woman close towards his body. He missed the feeling of warm skin pressed up against his body, Letting the woman's chest pressed up against his chest. Taking another sip of his wine while saying nothing to the woman.

Zelginn

Time: Morning
Place: Roshmi city

There had been some commotion close to where he found himself, towards the market district appearantly. But the small figure that was Zelginn had nothing to do at the market, and by the time he would arrive there it would probably be over. What a bummer! His feet was still covered in sot, albeit now with a slight bit of dust and minor mud. He looked down and frowned, he did like to look clean but he hated baths. They were almost as terrible as hugs. Yet out of most things he really despised dogs. They were angry, noisy and tended to ruin all the fun at times.

Zelginn tip tapped his feet along the cobblestoned path leading towards most likely fun times ahead when he suddenly stopped and smelled the air. That was a weird scent. He looked to the building next to him, raising his eyebrows in slight confusion. Tapping his chin quickly with his clawed finger, then slamming his hand into the other as he realized what place it was. The small figure waltzed up to the entrance of the building that was the local brothel, the women gathered by the door raised their eyebrows in reply to his approach.

"What's this? This isn't a place for you kid. Go home to your mother." One of the women said with a chuckle and took a long inhale through her rolled tobacco, blowing a ring of smoke towards the much smaller Zelginn who stood still, blinking with his eyes.

"Watcha mean? This place has a particular scent to it. Can I enter?" He asked as he waved some of the ill scenting smoke out of his face.

"No. You cannot. This is a refined establishment only for grown ups, now beat it kid." Another lightly clad woman said, crossing her arms looking to an lightly clad man abit behind her as if to beckon him forth.

"Oh? No? What if I give you this pouch with Amas?" Zelginn asked and tossed his recently stolen coinpouch, which once belonged to a dark elf.

"Hm? Hmm. Fine. Just don't come crying to us or whine to your mother. We never saw you." The woman grinned and pocketed the pouch quickly, some of the others present gave the pouch a hungry stare.

"Oh don't worry, my mother is in prison, I can't really whine to her…." Zelginn replied as he began ascending the stairs until he came to the doors, he reached up with both his small clawed hands and opened the doors leading into the first chamber. Once he entered he was met with strange glances by the workers and the personell of the place, but also a few guests threw the small figure looks of concern before resuming their buisness.

"What's with all the stares? Do I have something on my face? Sheesh!" He said aloud, then his curious eyes gazed about the place, tip toe'ing about looking to the various patrons until he finally settled his sight on one which looked like he could have been a lord. That had to be it. That was definitely Lord Norkas. He set his eyes on the large figure before approaching it fully, taking out the necklace he had gotten from Kenia earlier.

"Hey! Hey you must be Lord Norkas right? Haven't we met before? You look like a lord! Lady Tsarra Kenia Urmicca has highly recommended me to work for you! But I don't think I will be much use carrying things, I do think this necklace was supposed to be given to you though. It smells of the lady still. Wow her house was really big. Zelginn smiled widely with his eyes closed towards the large figure, as he then began to describe the building in detail, the one which he had previously explored via the chimney. He kept his posture, as he spewed as much words as he could over the large figure known amongst others in the vicinity as Umber.

"For a moment I thought there was actual real humans at her place! But boy was a I fooled, seems my nose got the better of me. Silly me! Guess they were just smelling really bad! They were there for Haron. I wonder what that is?" He said scratching his neck and then the hair on his head in annoyance, before tossing the necklace to Umber. "You look weird! But you kind of remind me of my little brother! Oh he was so weird!" Zelginn grabbed his stomach as he began to giggle to try contain himself.

"Oh oh oh, if you go meet the lady tell her that Zelginn said hello, won't you? I think she might have gotten abit grumpy with me, but I didn't mean to steal her food, I didn't know it was hers. What kind of lady locks up her food instead of eating it anyways?" He lifted his one clawed foot and leaned it on the other while holding both his paws behind his neck, looking at Umber's foreign appearance and then to any other being close to him. Something was off about the room. It was almost as if he was a fly in a spiders net, or was it a spider in the net? If only he could remember the saying!

He gave a cheeky grin to Umber, as he almost seemed to gaze through him.

As Torvi returned with more mead, and some interesting information, from the bar, Bowyn tilted his head in thought. He hadn’t expected people to rebel so quickly, but if assassination attempts were already going on in the open, in a crowded marketplace, that could make things easier for them. Of course, barroom gossip wasn’t exactly the most reliable source of information and knowing how dramatic elves could be it was just as likely that someone sneezed on the elf and they claimed it was biological warfare. “Could be.” He answered back, keeping his own pessimistic thoughts to himself. It wasn’t like this was out of the realm of possibility and trying to crush whatever hope the human had would be unnecessarily cruel. He knew that Torvi would remain cautious, and trusted her enough to believe a bit of hope wouldn’t cause her to do anything foolish. Bowyn would not allow himself hope, he knew he would do a great many foolish thing if it were for Aeryn. He had failed to do what he knew he had to already and ensure that she was properly laid to rest. Well, not just once, when he failed to ensure she was properly cremated, but a second time during the attack in the forest, and he would not allow himself another failure. Bowyn felt a sickening feeling in the pit of his stomach that was not caused by the mead.

“If it was rebels, we could go to the marketplace, I’m sure it’s all people would be talking about. Although it’d also be crawling with guards, but better to test those ears out in a marketplace than a fancy ball.” Bowyn continued in a hushed voice. He took a long drink of the amber liquid, not even bothering to frost the glass this time, that bit of whimsy had left him. He wished the mead would dull the sickening feeling but he knew it would not, it hadn’t for a long time and only stronger drugs could provide that ease. But those drugs messed with his wits far too much, and he couldn’t afford to be dulled by anything stronger than alcohol. For the time being he was going to have to learn to live with that feeling of guilt mixed with self-loathing. Swallowing the drink down he knew he had to try and seem less gloomy; he didn’t want to bring Torvi’s mood down with him. So, for the sake of being a better drinking buddy, he forced a cheeky grin. “Shall we finish these drinks and go shopping?” He asked trying to return to a playful sarcasm. ”I’m sure they’ll have many shops there with fancy, overpriced, clothes. Hopefully ran by distracted and unobservant shopkeepers.” He continued on until Boreas nipped at his ear.

”And food? The merlin inquired.

”And mice all over the streets.” He added looking to the bird on his shoulder.

Ayita couldn't help but to smile as she heard both Cade and Sakura's words. Both of them had pretty extreme views on their own field of expertise regarding combat. Even though magic was something new for her, she did see and feel how it could be just as interesting as running and hunting as she normally did. Unlike both of them though, for Ayita, magic and physical combat were equally interesting and could even be incredibly compatible when used together. One example was when she was running and ended up using wind magic without realizing.

When she had finished talking about her tribe, Sakura linked arms with her with a cheerful expression and tone. Unlike them though, the words she said were rather... ominous... They made Ayita remember exactly what was the situation she found herself in on Avalia.

"Oh... Thank you..." Ayita said, with an awkward smile as she gave a deep breath. Despite the fact that her and every other humans' heads had a price now, looking only to the bad side wouldn't help her to keep going on forward. Besides, she always had a tendency to look always at the bright side of everything.

Thanks to Cade's knowledge of the city, they soon arrived in a weapons shop owned by a demi-fox. Even for someone who didn't know much about weapons, just a single glance was needed to tell that the weapons being sold in that particular shop were indeed of good quality. They didn't have much decorations or engravings and were all honestly, very simple, but their effectiveness was undeniable.

Excited, Ayita walked towards the display, grabbing a tomahawk on her hand, testing it's balance, weight and sharpness. After testing two different tomahawks, she seemed to have found one to her liking. Throwing it into the air in a spinning motion and catching again with a smile, it wasn't hard for Cade or Sakura to figure out what she was thinking. After taking a look at the hunting knives, she choose a long one, similar to a Kukri in it's blade design.

"These are perfect! Both in balance and weight!" she said, looking to Cade with a smile as she showed them to him.

"Again, sorry for making you pay for them." Ayita said in a lower tone to Cade, with an awkward smile.

It was then that a commotion coming from the other side of the market interrupted them. Cade was the first one to notice, but Ayita took a bit more since she was distracted with her new weapons. Despite the initial surprise for being her first time seeing a centaur, she was able to understand what was happening to an extent. The faun had problems with the local authorities and the centaur tried to save him from whatever it was happening.

"How should we approach them though? They seem to have some... problems with the local authority, don't they?" Ayita asked, looking to Cade as he suggested them to befriend the centaur.

It took a moment before Darius finished his bath as Myra waited, still playing with the blankets. When Darius was over though, he seemed to be just as happy as he was when he saw the bathroom. Myra still didn't know why he was so glad to take a bath in warm water, but she thought it was a 'human' thing. Getting out of the bath, he walked towards the wardrobe as he started putting on his second skin, which he called 'clothes'. Even though Myra hated how they felt on her skin, it was still intriguing to see how Darius covered himself on them from head to toes, going as far as to wear some pretty thick and uncomfortable looking clothes, including something that looked almost like an animal's fur that he wore over his chest.

After finishing, he turned to Myra and called her name, making her poke her head out of the blankets to hear him. This time, it was easier to understand him, both by the movements he made to tell her that it was going to be cold and due to how many heavy clothes he was using himself. Even though Myra was pretty resistant regarding cold, it was still annoying when it was really cold. That fact made her think about maybe hearing him, but the second he showed her the thick, heavy thing he wanted her to use, she immediately stuck her tongue out, shaking her head from one side to another before going back inside the blankets. That thing he wanted her to wear was far too heavy for her to move comfortably. Getting out of the blankets again, she watched as Darius put it on and took it off easily, indicating that in case she wanted to take it off, it wouldn't be that hard. After thinking for a bit, she got out of the blankets, standing up and carefully grabbing the coat Darius had shown her. Determined to at least try it on, Myra tried to mimic Darius' movements. It was a bit confusing at first, especially since she put the right sleeve in the left arm, but after some tries, she finally got it right. It was clear to Darius that she was still unsatisfied in having to wear that heavy thing, but since it was easy to take it off, she was willing to try and use it. It was clear to him that it was an exception though. She still clearly hated wearing clothes.

Belladonna

Time: Late Morning / Noon
Location: Roshimi City
Interaction: @Tae @helo

]While the chaos unfolded, Belladonna distinctly heard Terneus screaming in rage. The effort it took to muffle her giggles was astounding. Belle followed the elves around the corner of a nearby building. Once out of view, Belle became visible once more. She sighed and looked at the elves with a twinkle in her eye. She had watched Regulus grab Ilan and run with Morgayne in tow. Baraian and Kuroi had escaped as well. The governor's soldiers were too busy being attacked by Morgaynes' animals and insects to help him. She thought she had seen the governor slip from view but hadn't seen where he had gone. She shrugged it off for now and looked at the elves. Everyone had escaped; that had been the goal. Ilan's lyre was safe as well. She had watched Regulus start galloping away at full speed. If she remembered correctly, they were going to the infirmary. She wasn't certain though; the city was quite confusing for her.

"You lead, ladies." Belladonna gestured to the city. "I'm open to anywhere that's off the streets and away from the marketplace. We have to blend into the crowd, now." Rosemary nodded in agreement and took her hand gently to lead her towards a bar with Elleta on her other side. They looked like a family of Elven women to anyone on the outside. As they moved towards it, Belladonna gazed around at the citizens. She saw a dark skinned women next to - wait, was that a cat? Belle stared at it, awestruck for a moment; then noticed she looked like an idiot and moved along. She had seen a pink haired women beside them as well. Her mind was racing. That had been a cat.. on two feet. She needed to remember to ask the elves about it later.

"In here. Go, go," Rosemary ushered them inside quietly, though with a serious tone. Belle quickly herded herself inside and looked around. The bar held many people inside of it of different races. What caught her eye, though, was a blonde duo sitting at the bar. The man, however, had wings and was a fairy. She wasn't sure what kind, though and was hoping to find out. As Belladonna studied her, she noticed the similarities between the women and humans' faces. Her ears though looked pointed. Unsure, Belladonna glanced at the elves and gestured to it. She hoped it was a human; she desperately wanted to connect with someone from her world. Elleta stayed with Belle while Rosemary had gone to sit near the window to keep an eye on the commotion outside. She kept the bow invisible.

The day had been nuts, and her adrenaline was starting to rush off. She would need something to keep her energy up. If someone had told her a week ago she'd be partnered with elves, demihumans and fairies and saving a faun while almost murdering an old Elven governor, she would have asked for what they had been smoking. Belladonna glanced at the woman briefly to study her face closer then turned away as not to be rude. The woman mirrored Belle's own blonde hair and blue eyes. She looked intimidating, though Belle knew she also did too. The male looked just as intimidating as his female companion.

"I'll have what she's having." Belle gestured to Torvi's drink. Elleta raised her brow and caused Belle to let out a giggle. This woman was going to find out what an experienced drinker she was and how she could hold her own. It had surprised everyone, including the gang and Embry. God, she wished she could just see his face now and punch it. "Make it two, please." Elleta managed a tiny smile and slipped some Amas onto the bar. She ordered food as well and Belle watched her do so. She was only somewhat familiar with their food here. What made Belle smile was that Elleta managed to find her some peach dish in which Belle began to devour hungrily. It had been a few hours since she had ate, and the adrenaline rush was wearing off. That, and combined with the training, left her to be a bit tired and drained. It was best not to let it show though. Belle began to drink and eat then finally looked over at the other two.

"Hello," Belle wasn't sure what else to say - she wasn't a friendly one and neither was Elleta. She had to try to find allies though. Bella forced herself to smirk playfully at the two and usher enthusiasm into her voice. "It's crazy out there. The governor was nearly just murdered in broad daylight. Some kind of incident took place, I heard, with a few demihumans." It wasn't as difficult as she thought; despite her calm and cool exterior, she was filled with pride and amusement at her creation. She needed the others to remain safe and low for the time being. She was hiding it though as not to tip anyone off that she was amused by it or even involved.

She took a quick glance at her drink with fascination and ordered another one, making Elleta stifle laughter. "This is some overpriced bullshit," She muttered to the older Elf who managed a genuine laugh. With a smirk, Belle buried her head in her drink and food and allowed the other two time to respond.

Corvina had been eavesdropping to the commotion with the door cracked. Too much time had gone by for her to just sit down. She listened to the ruckus with a deep sigh. There was a definite tension in the air. She bit her lip and had started fiddling with a flame on her palm. She had been focused on creating and destroying it to try taking her mind off of the chaos. She jumped when their names were called and extinguished the fire in her palm. She couldn't help but fell pride rise inside of her. Fire was versatile element to have obtained. She was excited to train with it, too. The more she could do to help protect their group then the better. Cora was becoming determined to protect them. She wasn't sure if she was mad with herself for starting to become attached, too.

After a brief pause, Corvina ran to the kitchen. She watched Malachi give Rei a new shirt and smiled faintly, then turned to the others. She bit her lip as she watched the older elf clean the kitchen and went to offer to help when Rei beat her to the punch once more. She rubbed her head and looked at Malachi and Kenia, both of who looked stressed. Cora took a deep breathe to steady herself and looked at them. "What happened?" She glanced between them and then smiled faintly. "If now is not a good time to explain then that's okay. I appreciate all you both for keeping us safe and doing everything possible to ensure that Rei and I are okay. Also, Mr. Biralei, I wanted to thank you again for your hospitality." Cora paused, then looked at Kenia and Malachi.

Without a word, she came over to hug both Elves together, then let go and smiled up at them. "Thanks for keeping us safe." Cora then stepped back and sat down at the table, unsure what to do next. She doubted they were going to train now. She bit her lip as she recalled Malachi speaking. Absentmindedly, and to quell her anxiety, she began to nibble on an untouched piece of toast.

Of all in his company, O'Ner proved to be the most peculiar within the establishment. So much uneasiness… so much indecision… Is this how one could break the undead general? Interesting. Interesting indeed… Umber watched silently, experiencing his own unique high with the ever flowing emotions that trailed inside. The demon allowed his presence to fade into the background while he relaxed, allowing the others to speak without his interruption.

While O'Ner displayed reluctance toward the women of the brothel, Xenelith took advantage of his environment. At least Umber's payment would not go to waste. If Umber could smirk at the Dark Elf, he would. He was treating Umber to a fine snack while he indulged himself. Just when the demon was ready to make a comment or give his thanks, his four eyes focused on a child addressing him as some lord. The child appeared to be around a decade old at most which caused Umber to question his place within the brothel. Even O'Ner's sudden appearance in a new set of skin kept the demon from breaking his attention on the child.

Umber sat up and listened to the fox child's words, but that was not what he found important. The feelings he felt from him are what Umber locked onto. How this boy felt was where the true message lied.

"Hmmmm…" With a raise of one of his hands, Zelginn was levitated up to face Umber up close. The demon picked the necklace from the boy's small hands, but did not give much attention to it. "Is that all?" Umber asked as he stared into the boy's crimson eyes. The tendrils on Umbers head shifted towards Azriel first, his eyes narrowed. Then they shift towards the direction of Xenelith, before quickly going towards O'Ner and then finally to Jack. "This boy's words need attention… Yes... I will go. Enjoy your vices here… I will enjoy mine elsewhere." Umber floated to his feet gracefully while setting Zelginn down. "As for you… I'd like to thank Lady Tsarra personally for sending someone like you in my direction …"

Kyran's options he laid out had made sense, but Risa hoped he'd be willing to protect humans even if they did not want to fight. She knew Kyran had a good heart so she didn't waste time doubting him. He then expressed that he was prepared to die and she couldn't help but take his hand and squeeze it. Things got hectic rather quickly as Elsea did not seem happy with Elthrael's words at all. A small gasp came from her lips as flames ignited in Elthrael's lap. She understood Elsea's feelings but was not sure why she'd go as far as to endanger him or ruin his clothes. Risa opened her mouth to speak and quickly shut it as Elsea began to address Kyran again. Her gaze slid nervously to Elthrael and she had begun to rise to make sure he was alright.

Elthrael had risen hastily, claiming, "The power is not a toy."He continued on as he addressed the group, "Those who do not respect the power, will end up being consumed by it. Remember that well..."

"Wait, Elthrael!"Risa exclaimed, trying to move around the table only for him to be taken his leave before she could protest. Her arms fell to her sides and stared after him sadly. Just this morning, he had given hints he had feelings for her, and now he was leaving without saying goodbye. Had she felt any back? Maybe a little, but the feelings were mixed. She had felt a bit of a crush, but also confusion and discomfort. Had her negative gut-feeling this morning been correct? She slowly retreated back down to her seat, putting her chin in her palms as her elbows leaned against the table.

It sunk in, her own words from this morning repeating in her head:
“Ah, but there is so much for us to learn about each other still. Love is a very strong proclamation."

He had not really known her at all, yet Risa knew that deep down yet her heart had latched onto the possibility anyway. Cloud had loved her and would have never left her or treated her in such a manner. He had never even touched Risa in the way Elthrael, but it was also given they had been too young to engage in those actions. She felt deceived.

Risa barely noticed her food being placed in front of her, eyes watering.

"Trust me, it's not so bad." Darius smirked as Myra attempted to put on the cloak. He was glad that she was even making an attempt to put the cloak on. "It won't be for long. And if you think you can handle the cold in the place we're going, you can give it to me." Darius headed towards the door while motioning with his hand for Myra to follow him out of the room.

It didn't take long for the two to reach the beautiful garden, this time there was something out of place at the far reaches of the flower beds.

"Whoa…" Darius let out quietly as he spotted Kol standing cross-armed in front of an amora. It was Darius' first time seeing one, let alone some of Avalia's more advanced technology. Darius was mindful to take the stone path leading through the garden and to where Kol and the amora were."What is that thing?" Darius asked the stone-faced elf.

"This thing is your way to Fort Malthemoor. An amora." Kol answered before walking around to board the aircraft. "The trip won't be long. Ten minutes at most."

Darius couldn't help but examine every bit of the amora as he boarded. This place really clashes when it comes to tech and magic. If something like this exists… It's like a flying bus. Darius took a seat within the Amora, in a different row than Kol, but close enough to him that they could talk if they needed to. Oh and of course he got himself a window seat, who the hell wouldn't?

The smooth takeoff of the Amora was stunning. Darius could tell the aircraft was traveling quickly, but it felt as if they weren't even moving. Almost like a child, his face was nearly glued to the glass window as he took in the scenic snow capped mountains.

Kenia silently thought of Malachi's words on how the child had smelt humans, this concerning her even more. How would he know what humans smelt like if he hadn't smelt them before? Either he had either already encountered humans and in that case where were they or he wasn't a child at all and much older than they assumed. Whichever it was it wasn't good for them. She looked over to Rei and Corvina as they entered, giving Rei a small smile as he offered to help. "Thank you for the offer Rei, but I think we may have more pressing matters." She said before glancing back at her father.

"I fear my daughter is correct, it seems we may have all been compromised. I think it is time to depart, all of us." Nym explained as he looked between everyone. As he said all of them, Kenia realized he meant himself as well and a sadness overcame here. She was forcing her father out of his home...again. Something inside her broke a little as she set the broom down and moved to him.

"But Papa, where will you go?" She asked him, fighting back the tears that wanted to make an appearance. Nym smiled down at his daughter as he placed his hands on her shoulders.

"I'm afraid it will be safer for everyone if I don't know where you guys will go nor do you know where I am off to. Fret not, though, as we will see each other again one day." He told her and she realized this almost sounded like a final farewell. A few years finally escaped as the threw her arms around him and hurried her face in his chest, hiding the tears from everyone. He kissed her on the top of the head before releasing her. "Now go, collect the essentials you all will need and be swift about it. We must depart as soon as possible." He told her and everyone else there.

Kenia stepped back towards Malachi and was surprised when Cora hugged her. She glanced at Malachi for a brief second with her slightly tear stained face, shock apparent, before returning the hug to Cora. "No problem Cora, I will do whatever I can to protect you." She said softly to her and was a little surprised at herself for saying such a thing. "Now come on, I need you and Rei to help me quickly pack what we need." She said as she lead the two humans upstairs.

"Malachi may I speak to you for a moment?" Nym began, trying to stop Malachi briefly before he went to pack as well. He waited till the others were out of earshot before continuing. "Thank you for putting up with her, I know she's not the easiest to get along with sometimes. The loss of her children and betrayal of her husband has changed her, but I know that deep down there's still great good in her. She just needs someone to break through those walls and I think you and those humans might be the ones to do that." He explained as he gave Malachi a grateful smile.

"I do have a favor to ask of you, however. Watch out for her for me? I know that is a lot to ask and I will never hold it against you if something were to happen to her, but it'll make this old man feel better to know that she'll have someone there for her." He knew that what he was asking wasn't an easy thing and he wouldn't blame Malachi for refusing, but he felt he needed to at least try asking.

Elsea hadn’t been able to contain her giggle at Elthrael’s reaction to her stunt as it was just how she’d expected him to react. Yes perhaps her actions weren’t the best and a little on the cruel side, but he was acting just as cruel and in an uncalled for manner so she only thought it fair. She ignored his next words, instead smirking at him and waving mockingly as he decided to leave. If he insisted on being cruel to her and Kyran than they didn’t need him around anyways, at least that’s how she felt.

She was a little surprised when Risa tried to stop him, glancing over at her just to watch the sadness overcome her. She felt a little bad, feeling like her actions had contributed to her sadness in a way. She began to silently worry that she was upset with her now and had an urge to find out if that were the case. She waited for a moment though as she looked down at the food served to them, debating on what to say. When she looked back over at Risa, however, she saw that her eyes were watery and it broke Elsea’s heart. ”Oh love! What’s the matter?! What happened?!” She asked as she gently put her hand on Risa’s shoulder out of concern. Worry was apparent on her features.

Kyran smiled wide when Elsea lit Elthrael's lap on fire, practically about to applaud with glee. He watched him take his leave with amusement, carrying on too seriously as older folk did. He met Elsea's gaze to grin at her. Kyran couldn't have asked for a better moment. He really owed Elsea one. When Risa sat back down, she did not seem as happy. His smile fell and he took her hand fast and worriedly as he noticed she was tearing up, "Risa!? What's wrong? Why are you upset?" He rubbed her back and wondered to himself why Elthrael leaving would make her upset. The two had been alone this morning for who knows how long. Kyran felt anger rise inside him at the thought of that moth hurting Risa like this. "What happened with you two this morning exactly?"

Malachi glanced at Rei and gave him a faint smile when he offered to help, "No that's alright. No training today."
Before he could explain more, Corvina joined, questioning the situation. The girl was actually rather polite and appreciative. They really had lucked out on a good pair of humans, kind and cooperative for the most part when they weren't firing word cannons, but that would only translate well in battle anyway.

Nym voiced Malachi's thoughts: that they'd probably all have to leave the area. It could be that nothing would come of it, but it was not worth the risk. The child had seemed vengeful and even perhaps suggested their deaths. It was best for all of them. Luckily Nym had not been seen, so if he had some place to retreat to, he'd be well off as long as he laid low. Malachi couldn't pull his gaze away as Kenia asked where he'd go, and he responded by telling her she could not know. His heart ached as they hugged, and once they had finished the hug, he put his hand on Kenia's shoulder, whispering, "You'll see him again."

To his surprise, Corvina came over to hug them both and he reluctantly stared down at her in shock. His arms slowly fell around her and he hugged her back. He wanted to kick himself. You never learn, Malachi. He thought warningly to himself with despair. It had started off so easy: training up soldiers to kill Aklenroth, but now... It was beginning to feel, whether or not he'd admit it, like he had a family again. Malachi knew this could be bad. He had to snap himself out of it and take the situation seriously, or he would end up not being willing to let the two battle. Though, since he was willing to put his life down for this cause, he supposed he was willing to die to protect them, so he let go of Corvina and said, with sheer honesty, "I will do whatever it takes to keep you two alive." Maybe there was no running from it. Even his heart now cold and empty, was still so prone to beating and caring so much for people he spent his time with.

Kenia then led the two upstairs to help pack, and he turned to go gather some of his things too when Nym's voice reached his ears yet again.

"Malachi may I speak to you for a moment?"Malachi whirled on his heels to glance at him. "Thank you for putting up with her, I know she's not the easiest to get along with sometimes. The loss of her children and betrayal of her husband has changed her, but I know that deep down there's still great good in her. She just needs someone to break through those walls and I think you and those humans might be the ones to do that."

Malachi let him continue before speaking his mind, taking his words in and processing them.

"I do have a favor to ask of you, however. Watch out for her for me? I know that is a lot to ask and I will never hold it against you if something were to happen to her, but it'll make this old man feel better to know that she'll have someone there for her."

"Kenia..."Malachi drew off, clearly completely lacking self-awareness that her name made him smile a little just saying it, "She is a good woman. I've seen it in her. I will be there for her best I can, Nym." He put a hand on his shoulder respectfully. It was a heavy burden to look a man in the eyes and vow to protect his daughter, and it was not the first time Malachi had taken it on. But as he thought before, things would be different now. He would not fail the people around him again, he'd go as far as to die to protect them. Maybe he wouldn't upright let them all know he felt that way, to keep them from caring too much for him and suffering the pain of loss, but he would bear the burden. He was used to it anyway.

Ambiance: Shopping street

Once they were at a safe distance from the marketplace Regulus finally slowed his incredibly pace, followed suit by the short statured faun who was very relieved they stopped running. It gave him some time to catch his breath. He was hunched forward, hands on his knees and his chest heaving. Too winded to talk right away, Ilan instead focused on not passing out. The entire ordeal had taken a lot out of him. He wasn't used to so much chaos. It assaulted his tender senses.

Regulus lowered himself to Ilans level, steadying the young faun with both hands on his shoulders.
"Easy there.... we're safe for now" He spoke calmly. The centaur sounded like a completely different person when he wasn't raising his voice to cause a commotion. He took extra care to be gentle around Ilan. The poor kid had gone through enough for one morning. He looked around and was relieved to find they hadn't been followed. The archer continued to scan the area. Their original objective was to find humans.

Ilan felt good enough to stand up straight. He lifted his head to look up at Regulus.
"Thank you for helping me.."
He said gratefully.

Ilan noticed Regulus studying their surroundings. They were now in one of the many shopping districts of Roshmi. He felt vulnerable without his magical lyre. The faun was used to the familiar feeling of wood resting against his back. It wasn't heavy but he could sense something was missing. If something else would transpire he at least still had his slingshot and also Regulus to watch out for him. He looked at the bow and quiver of arrows on the back of the centaur. Hopefully he wouldn't be needing those anytime soon. It was difficult not to be on edge. Ilan had always been easily scared, this didn't do much to improve his disposition.

"I hope the others are safe too"
Ilan wondered aloud, still looking anywhere and everywhere for a potential attack. He noticed some people looking directly at them. He took a few steps back towards Regulus and tugged on the highest point he could reach, his sleeve, to get his attention.
"They are looking at us"
He said cautiously, in case they could hear him. Regulus however did the exact opposite of what Ilan thought he would do. Instead of sweeping them away he walked towards the strangers. Ilan was forced to go along with him, but he put on a brave face. They didn't look menacing in any way, not counting the weapons they carried on their backs.

"That's a fine piece of weaponry you have there" Regulus began, sounding pleasant despite his deep bass toned voice. He commented on the halberd the feline demi human had strapped onto his back. Ilan remained quiet until he got a nudge from Regulus.
"We look less suspicious if we blend into the crowd, talk to some friendly strangers"

The faun caught on quickly and composed himself, tapping into his innate politeness. His jade eyes wandered past each individual, careful not to stare for too long. There was two elves? One of them, or rather both of them looked odd in a way. One of the female elves was dressed in beautiful colored robes of elaborate design. She carried a parasol painted with cherry blossom flowers.
"That's very pretty."
Ilan commented, gesturing to Sakura's parasol.

It was as Rei had initially feared, from what he could gather, that fox seemed to have made them- as in their identities were likely discovered. Though they veered away from Corvina's question, it wasn't difficult to guess what exactly they would be doing from now on. His raised a surprised eyebrow at Corvina's hug that enclosed the two elves. Well, it wasn't like Rei couldn't understand it, they were all sticking their necks out for them and he is grateful. Still, his discomfort towards emotional affection was apparent as he looked away whilst scratching his cheek.

He silently took in Kenia and Nym's conversation about the relocation. He agreed quietly, with it being the most logical option that they have. Had Nym not been there, it was likely Malachi who would have suggested it and if not him, then Rei. It's just one mess after another. He thought gloomily before clasping his ring necklace and shaking those thoughts away. He followed as Kenia led both him and Corvina to pack their belongings. It wasn't like they had much to begin with.

Rei's footsteps creaked on the wooden staircase, with his hands in his pockets he followed just behind the two girls. The walk had allowed him to ruminate in his thoughts again. He needed to get strong quicker; if not for him then for the people who depend on him. With furrowing brows, the wind began picking up around him. His steps creaked louder as thoughts of Aklenroth consumed his mind.

Ah. Damn. Chill out. He thought, forcefully halting his ability. His face throughout remained unchanged but he hoped they had not noticed.

"What do you require me to pack?" Rei asked inquisitively as they arrived at the room, he had a general idea of clothing but not much else. It was better to ask than assume and be wrong, even if the answer was blatantly simple.

Kenia's and Malachi's words had brought a genuine smile to Corvina's face. She felt a mix of joy and dread. Those words often uttered by people normally dragged in trouble. Cora nodded quickly, unwilling to speak so she didn't worsen their moods. She knew in her heart that she, too, would do whatever it took to protect them. Cora glanced at her hands, recalling the fire she had created on their first night. That had been out of adrenaline and fear. Would she be able to create anything bigger than that? Her fireballs were effective and she was able to create a small campfire. She wondered how much else she was capable of with her fire.

After Kenia beckoned Rei and her upstairs, Cora began making a mental list of her belongings. There was her mace, pocket knives and her supreme sweatshirt. It had been salvaged, thankfully, and much to her relief. It wasn't much, but it reminded her of her home and early life. She began to gather them and stuff them into a bag. She began to grab whatever she had in her room and stuff it away. The less that anyone could find of them, the better. She wondered what Kenia's answer to Rei would be and began to listen carefully for it. Her heart began racing as dread filled her. How much longer did they have until something else happened? How much danger would Nym be in? She felt guilt rise inside of her, but knew it wasn't her fault. That damn fox had caused it - and if she saw him again...

It took her a moment to notice the fire in her hands. Her reflection, as she turned to glance at the dresser, showed the flames. Cora sighed and looked at her hands. While climbing the steps, Cora had heard the stairs creaking and knew Rei was undoubtedly nervous as well. His discomfort at affection had been evident as well. Cora couldn't help but wonder - what had her group gone through in order to be this distant to people? She wasn't about to press them right now. Cora finished packing her personal belongings and looked at Kenia for an answer.

Myra was still struggling to adapt in wearing that heavy coat, despite Darius words. Since she never wore anything before and was used in moving herself without anything to hinder her, that coat felt very... heavy and restrictive for her. That said, it was undeniably warm though. Since Darius wanted her to wear it so bad, she was making an effort to not immediately take it off though.

Following Darius out of their room, they finally met with Kol, who was waiting for them while standing before a very big, strange metallic boat thing. It had a lot of tubes, wheels and two big hollow wheels with weirdly shaped sticks inside of it. Myra had absolutely no idea of what it was or what they would do with it but as Darius entered on it, she assumed she should follow him. Before she went in though, she slowly approached it, examining it the best she could, even though she understood absolutely nothing about it.

The moment it turned on though, it began to shake a little and they began going up. Agitated by what was happening, it took a few moments for Myra to understand what was happening and what that big thing was. Darius and Kol called it 'Amora' and it was apparently used by them to fly. Just as curious as Darius was, Myra spent most of the trip either looking through the window or curiously watching the driver as he pressed many buttons and turned a big wheel, apparently telling that big thing where to go.
