Falling.

It's a sensation that is rarely ever met with celebration. This situation, is, indeed, not an exception to this fact. For the moment that a certain set of individuals selected the 'yes' option on a set of mysterious letters, they suddenly found themselves far away from home.

Also far away from the ground.

Indeed, the experience of falling several hundred meters down to the surface of the earth was hardly one to be celebrating about. For that matter, it was quite a terrifying one. It was also easy to perceive that this was most certainly not the location they had been in prior. Below the falling figures, a forest was rapidly rushing upwards to meet them. It seemed to be the only thing that was excited about this arrangement, given how swiftly it seemed to be hurtling towards them. Their specific destination seemed to be a clearing near a small lake, but that really didn't make this any better, now, did it?

Indeed, it seemed as if whoever had summoned them had made a critical error, and that they were all about to die extremely untimely deaths. What a disappointment. How subversive. No-one will expect this ending.

Only that didn't happen at all.

The moment, the very instant, that anyone who didn't manage to compensate for the fall was about to hit the ground... they suddenly slowed down to a stop, floating momentarily half a meter above the ground.

They were then dropped somewhat uncerimoniously to the earth, but otherwise they were entirely unharmed.

With a somewhat less terrifying situation occurring around them, now, it was possible to perhaps preceive their surrounds somewhat more.

It was a forest. There didn't seem to be anything but trees around, though the calling of birds and insects was definitely audible. The lake nearby was completely pure and glittering and pristine, so clear the fish beneath the surface could be seen quite clearly. The sky was blue, with not a cloud in sight.

And some of the bushes nearby were shifting strangely, as if something was hiding nearby...

The tan-skinned girl's thick tail swished back and forth. She didn't realize she was doing it, the scaly appendage rustling the bushes around her as she peered at the result of her handiwork. That was six people! Six had answered! To be honest, she hadn't expected more then three, this was even better then she had hoped.

Folding her arms under her chest, she couldn't help but give herself a metaphorical pat on the back, smiling with pride. They all looked like they were... well, at the very least they had to be useful if not powerful. Ah... was it okay for her to be smiling so smugly to herself?! It had to be, after she did such a great job!

Tail still swishing back and forth, the draconic girl nodded to herself in a self-satisfied way. This was their path forward. These would be the people who would save her community!

Of course, now she had to decide how to introduce herself. Yes, yes... she needed to really convey who she was perfectly, give a great first impression, and educate them about the new world they found themselves in!

But how could she do that...?

'I am Lila Loren Lovelace, and Welcome to the World of Nova Terra'?

'Hello, Champions from other Worlds! I am Lila Loren Lovelace, the one who summoned you here'?

'Greetings, o Champions, as one of Nova Terra's aristocrats I welcome you'?

No, no... she had to make the perfect first impression! She was feeling so good about this now, Lila couldn't allow herself to say something silly and make herself look foolish! This was for the sake of her community, after all. She had to give them all a great first impression! She had to introduce them all to their new world!

So, she couldn't mess this up!

Right?

Shiro's panic at being high up lead to a rather immediate and perhaps... excessive response. If she got bigger, then she would be closer to the ground without actually falling as far. Therefore, she should get as big as possible, as fast as possible, and fall as little as possible. Maybe the other people that had appeared in the air would appreciate it? Her scales and flesh had to be better cushioned than the earth of the clearing.

Perhaps it was the size change overwhelming the safe landing, or perhaps it was simply sheer mass, but the result was quite unmistakeable... most of the clearing was temporarily full of winding coils of white snake whilst everyone else landed one way or the other.

And anyone watching from the trees couldn't possibly miss the ground shaking from the enormous impact.

"Oh."

Kamiko's surprised exclamation was lost to the winds as she found herself falling from a great height. It was so sudden, she'd barely answered that strange invitation before finding herself in this predicament. She couldn't deny the thrilling sense of danger filling her, but the young Sword Saint showed no fear beyond the initial shock. A fall from this height may be lethal, but only if she failed to make a proper landing.

Several others seemed to be in the same boat as her, but she could hardly worry about them for the moment. Her own safety came first. Kamiko shifted her body, bracing for impact, when she noticed a large serpent merge... no, it was one of her impromptu skydiving companions? That was certainly unexpected, but she saw an opportunity arise. The serpent was directly beneath her, crashing to the earth below. It's body had to be slightly softer as a landing point, and given how big it was...

Luckily however, something slowed her descent before she crashed into the giant serpent. Her body felt light as the surprised warrior righted her posture once more. She came to a soft landing atop the serpent's head, surveying the forest from her perch. Despite standing on top of what could very well be a hostile monster, in a foreign land she just fell into from the sky, her hand was only loosely resting on the grip of her katana - the non-cursed blade.

"...How fortunate. I didn't have to risk breaking a leg..." she murmured to herself, and watched the rest of the falling figures fall to the earth.

It happened in an instant. The next thing Dorothy knew, she was falling. The questions "where" and "how" were promptly pushed back to the recesses of her mind in favor of the reflexive action of screaming her lungs out.

Stuck in freefall, Dorothy tried to access her dimensional storage but her special bag was flailing too much because of the violent winds and her maneuvering mid-air only ended up making her spin uncontrollably.

Out of ideas, The little genius alchemist curled into a fetal position, her hands covering her face protectively.

Then everything simply stopped.

"H-huh?"

Dorothy risked a peek between her fingers only to be unceremoniously dropped to the ground none the worse for wear. She quickly got up to take stock of her surroundings.

Trees... Water... she was in a forest, beside a lake.

White... Scales... Snake... Giant...

"DRAAAAGON!" With another scream, Dorothy ran in the opposite direction of anything white.

And in an attempt to slow down any possible pursuers, she threw ice bombs behind her at random intervals.

Leith Walton

Leith examined the strange invitation before him a moment, its mysterious contents whirling about his (if he were being humble) overwhelming brilliant mind. Such an odd little thing...a prank from his siblings perhaps? There was no return address nor any means of identifying who it was for. And given his family's lacking experience in handling their own postage (having servants for dictation was such a wonderful thing) that would be the most likely explanation. Still, that was a matter he could deal with later. Perhaps ask Daddy or the help where the letter had come from. If he were in a speaking mood.

Turning from his desk Leith began to exit his study, intent on finding his siblings...only for his stride to meet unforgiving air. Below him an...admittedly lovely verdant vista regaled him with its splendor. Majestic evergreens and deciduous peppered the landscape surrounding a clearing housing a crystal lake, the grasses he could see as being unmanicured but lush in their own wild fashion. In other circumstances, he'd have stopped and taken in the view. However that was rather hard to do when said view was hurtling toward you at the speed of hate.

The fall began in earnest, Leith reflexively reaching up and grasping his hat as though it might save him. Details became hard to register in his mind. He was falling he knew that. And by the sounds of screaming, he was not alone. It was strangely comforting to know he was about to die with an audience, a fact he filed away for later.

Remebering his place as an English Man,he resolved himself not to panic despite the danger. "AAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHH" He screamed, with the shrill piose and dignity his heritage demanded as he flailed his arms about wildly in a refined manner. Despite, in his mind, having sorted the issue right out, gravity rudely paid him no mind and continued to fling him towards the ground.

As the earth rose up to meet him, Leith shut his eyes tightly, praying that Newtonian physics might just leave him alone if he pretended REALLY HARD that it didn't exist. As he hit the ground he felt....that he didn't. Where searing pain and death should have been he felt nothing. Cracking one eye open gently he checked just to make sure that he was, in fact still falling. "oh..." He said aloud, looking at the no longer rapidly approaching ground. "I...I can't believed that worked..." He laughed as he hung upside down mid air.

"An object in motion stays in motion my ASS Sir Issac!" Leith yelled, laughing somewhat hysterically. "I knew some loser from Middlesex was nothing more than a hack piece of shiiIIIIII-" He began, immediately landing face first as the universe administered some vicarious revenge for the aforementioned physicist. Leith groaned as pain shot through him, his neck aching from where he landed on it. He'd survived atleast...that was something.

Keeping his eyes closed (as that seemed to be working out the best for him) Leith listened as bodies dropped next to him. He was about to get up to see if anyone needed help when the word "DRAGON" followed by several explosions reached his ears. He promptly decided staying exactly where he was and pretending to be dead was maybe the best option.

On the ground, near the sight where the otherworlders had been summoned, a creature that looked like some sort of maid was standing. Well...squirming? From the expression on her face, she seemed to be fairly uncomfortable. Today was the day! Master Lovelace had sent out the invitations, and Silver Suns saviors were falling at terminal velocity towards the ground! All was according to plan, of course. Nothing about this could possibly go wrong!

...Oh no, that wasn't right, was it? They were all falling at such a high speed! Was that part of the plan? They'd get hurt at such a speed! She really should probably do something...but at the same time...if they did get hurt, then they would need her services, right? And well, what was one little broken bone or two? A hand slowly moved to the side of her face, a small smile forming on the maids features.

"Ufu, yes yes, this is just fine, isn't it?~" Vel giggled to herself...until one of the otherworlders seemed to turn into a giant serpent. The impact caused a small earthquake, sending shockwaves through the shoggoth's slimey body and causing her to wobble slightly. She blinked, watching the serpent and one of the otherworlders land without so much as a scratch. How boring. The child shouting was a little concerning, but if she was able to run, then she was certainly lively and well enough not to need her assistance.

Twirling an idle finger through her gooey hair, Vel watched a few of the others. They mostly seemed fine...save for one who had fallen near a lake? They weren't moving. Oh dear, oh dear, that wouldn't do at all. Smiling happily as she settled on a course of action, the Shoggoth made her way over to where the unmoving human lay. They still seemed to be breathing, so that was good...

"Hmm...lets see." A slimy tendril reached for Leith's waist. Another reached for his wrist. "...no pulse?" The shoggoth frowned sadly. "Oh dear. Guess I'll just perform a burial here...though I am somewhat hungry..."

Augis

Augis peered through a brass spyglass from the edge of the clearing, observing as the "champions" were summoned. It was a last ditch attempt to save Silver Sun, to summon those from beyond to aid them. Assuming these folks were chosen carefully, it could work. It was the same logic he employed when he made a deal with that unknowable entity from beyond the stars- that someone from outside Nova Terra could be trusted to not have a stake in any of the other other settlements at Silver Sun's expense. There was always a chance it could backfire, but the only alternative was an inevitable doom for the settlement.

He watched carefully as they plummeted to the ground. For a moment it looked like they were falling too quickly, and that they might hit the ground at high speed. This worry only lasted a split second, as the arrivals' descent was momentarily halted right before crashing into the clearing. What was much more surprising was the transformation of one of the arrivals into a massive serpent. Even with the midair stop, the snake came down with ground-shaking force, knocking Augis off his feet.

"What in the world were they thinking," he complained to himself as he got up and dusted himself off, slightly annoyed that his white robes were now covered in dirt. "Why would they change into something that would hit the ground with even greater momentum? Unless, perhaps their momentum was conserved in the mass change," he briefly wondered aloud.

Recovering his monocular, the warlock looked through it, observing the new arrivals and waiting for Lila to greet them. At least one of them, a swordswoman from the look of it, had fallen directly onto the snake, but neither she nor her impromptu cushion seemed injured. One of them lay motionless on the ground. I hope that one's not dead, it'd be a tragedy to perish so soon after being summoned, Augis thought.

"DRAGON!" shouted another of the arrivals, a child who seemed quite distraught at the sight of the serpent. The child fled from the snake, slinging what looked like some spell or grenades at the serpent. The time for passive observation was over; Augis needed to intervene. Even if the snake looked like it could handle whatever was being thrown at it, and even if this little girl was more capable of taking care of herself than her stature suggested, they couldn't let her run off into an unknown world.

Muttering an incantation to call upon the power of his patron, Augis invoked a spell of levitation on the child, intent on halting her hasty and unnecessary retreat by suspending her a meter in the air. He remained at least somewhat concealed behind the brush, intent on not giving himself away before Lila could explain everything to them.

It wasn't the first time he'd fallen. He had been thrown from fortress walls, cliffs, and once from a waterfall. This was his first time falling from such an extreme height however, but he treated it just the same by drawing his blade and calling forth his armour of ice and encasing himself in ever increasing layers to hopefully protect him from the approaching ground.

Suddenly his entire view was filled with scales, too smooth for a dragon and brilliantly white. As he fell the extreme cold of his armour condensed the air around him, leaving a trail of mist to mark his descent. And then the wall of scales suddenly stopped and he bounced off of it, tumbling to the ground.

He climbed to his feet, wreathed in fog as his armour of ice sublimated away.

"I hope that wasn't intentional!"

Aoife De Chuid Mag Mell

How long has it been since she left home? Last time she visited? Many, many years for either. "Hah... Perhaps I should visit home soon. I'm sure sister wouldn't mind me staying with her for a bit. Isn't that right, Adhahm!?" She asked the spectral horse she rode on. The creature gave a whiney in response, but that was about it. The creature itself did seem to care one way or the other. "I am."

Still, that wouldn't be for a while still. She was just about to start a chapter of her journey. Never has she visited Silver Sun before. A land that one couldn't but help want to call a wasteland having just heard about it. The land was infertile and Aoife could only assume that the people have suffered much because of it. Still, that wasn't quite why she was there though. It was the dead. The spirits of the dead that is. With the infertility of the land as it were, there was a high chance that many were... Deceased. Of course a Dullahan would be attracted here with that in mind.

It didn't help that there was a sudden urge to head here, perhaps a subconcious message from her Queen set off the urge, or something else of the sort, but she was here now. It might be a stretch to say she was here to help, but if she had an idea about dead spirit's last wish, she might have the chance to do so regardless.

Whatever would happen in the future though, she was about to witness something strange. As she rode Adhahm on the road towards what should be Silver Sun, she studied the terrain. Whatever Aoife might think when she heard "Silver Sun" this didn't seem like it. Sure, it was a fallen kingdom, but she was expecting something like an actual silver sun hanging in the sky. Or perhaps a number of silver decorations on the road. None of it, sadly. Then, out of the corner of her eye, she saw something odd.

The Dullahan grabbed her head and lifted it as high as she could. "Ehh!? Is that... People falling?! As if they could survive a fall like that! Come, Adhahm! Let us collect their spirits." She hardly expected the first souls she would collect in Silver Sun would be fresh. Adhahm galloped until they came to the clearing before the lake. Yes, there were people. They were alive still, however. "Huh, well, guess this wasn't a death fall." She looked around at everyone there. Five humans, a snake... A dragon? "Huh... Dragon. Nobility?"

Many things have been seen in Aoife's lifetime, but this was the first time she'd seen this. A summoning of sorts? Hmm, well, this was interesting enough to stand around and watch with a somewhat confused face. She set her head atop a specially made spot on her horse's saddle and leaned against the creature. It didn't move at least, as she watched on. If someone noticed her, she'd say something at least. She didn't want to interrupt the flow of conversation. For now.

Arisia

...She was falling.

It took only a moment for her to notice the wind brushing against her skin, her clothes flapping in the air, and the feeling of slight mortal peril brought on by her sudden descent. This wasn't exactly how she'd expected to be introduced to this new world, to be perfectly honest.

"...Hmph..."

It was only for a moment, of course. With a slight twitch of her head, Arisia's descent began to slow until it was like she was sinking through molasses. The others quickly left her behind as they made their own descents, although soon enough her feet touched the ground behind... What looked like a girl, although she'd never once seen a girl with horns and a lizard-like tail before. Was she one of the others that had been falling with her? Hesitating for a second, Arisia reached forward and gently tapped the lizard-girl on the shoulder.

"Hello."

Her voice was deadpan, and didn't betray any emotion.

"Were you invited here as well?"

... Well the fact that one of the people she summoned into a giant snake big enough to seemingly cause an earthquake was a little bit surprising, that much was true. So much that Lila had almost been completely knocked off her feet, but she'd managed to catch herself at the last second! Stumbling into view and falling on her face wasn't the kind of introduction she wanted at all, the dragongirl really had to leave an impression and let everyone know just who she was and what was going on, and that meant not floundering about! These were people from all different worlds, whom she had specifically scouted for their power. One of them being able to turn into a giant snake wasn't too shocking at all!

Lila took a deep breath.

This was the beginning of the restoration of Silver Sun!

... Wait, where was the sixth champion? Lila was certain she had summoned six, but she only saw five people fall... Did something go wrong? Was one of them lost?

Oh no, that would be ter-

When a voice came from behind her, a finger tapping her shoulder, Lila let out a very unbecoming squeal of surprise. Her tail swishing wildly, the blonde-haired dragongirl jumped and stumbled forward...

For a moment, she emerged from the bushes, before tripping over her own feet with a yelp and falling flat on her face.

"... Ow ow ow..."

Shiro wanted to tilt her head in interest at the person on her head... but there was a person on her head. A cute girl on her head! Really, this was all after to a wonderful start, even if she didn't have quite the best view whilst being used as a platform. There were some more cute girls falling, and running around... some guys too, she supposed.

Kamiko was treated to her platform lowering itself to the ground, then starting to disappear entirely, the snake reducing in surprise as quickly as it had grown, withdrawing from underneath the swordswoman and leaving her stood merely on the much less interesting ground. Shiro, for her part, dusted off her clothes and looked around in curiosity as the others started to introduce themselves or run. She'd have to take a closer look at the slimelike one later, she would be unusual.

All her thoughts were derailed when yet another girl came stumbling out of the trees, falling over. Oh my, what an opportunity this was, to help her up!

Lila might have appreciated the assistance a little more if the white-haired girl who had rushed to her side actually offered a hand and not... well, seemed intent on either tickling her or stroking her bare sides whilst muttering. "Ah... this must be heaven... so many girls... girls with scanty clothing... eheheheh..."

She was practically salivating.

Leith took the moment of pretend unconsciousness to collect himself, at least as much as one can after surviving a fall from terminal heights by the skin of their teeth and questionable physics. Well, unless his sense had failed him, he wasn't actually dead yet. Good sign. The screaming from earlier had not really yet subsided, though it had at least shifted from terror to mostly agitation on the speakers part. There definitely wasn't the sounds of a rampaging beast of legend and fire. And while he didn't have much basis as to what that might sound like, he'd wager it would be a sight louder than what was currently reaching his ears.

He was about to sit up and demand an explanation (provided no dragon was present, a caveat he'd never thought he'd have) when something slick slipped around his waist and wrist. Bravely, Leith called upon his vast cowerdly instincts and frozen stock still, hoping it was just some random fauna that had decide to investigate him and would leave him be once it figured out he was not food. The skin touch his was...bizarre. It was like someone had steamed a squid tentacle, filled it with gelatin and then gave it sentience. With its only set task being to molest anything that came near it.

"Hmm...lets see." Something chuckled with obviously dark amusement, the aformentioned analogy becoming a terrifying real possibility in Leith's mind. "...no pulse? Oh dear. Guess I'll just perform a burial here." It said, Leith feeling a rush of relief that this new creature was apparently both somewhat ignorant of his biology and apparently not so keen on necrophilia.

"..though I am somewhat hungry..." It added, Leith shooting up with a scream and diving a hand into his pocket to retrieve a foam bomb. "I'm alive! Get back you sav...a.." He started, his objections dying on his lips as he came face to face with a...vaguely nurse shaped mass of purple goo. He pauses for a second, trying to come up with some reasonable explanation for what he was seeing.

Failing to find one he turned his attention elsewhere. There was no dragon, thankfully. He made mental note to punish who made him panic like that later. There WAS, however, a plethora of young women (many of whom where wearing what he could only describe as fetish ware. Especially the buxom blonde one with the horns), a floating and presumably demonically possessed child, and a Knight standing there like this was just another Tuesday to him. One of the women, some sort of albino, looked to be on the verge of drooling.

Remembering that being eaten was still up for discussion, Leith threw himself into the Jello Nurse's arm. Practically,...no very literally sinking into her. But he liked his odds with her more than the clearly feral and ravenous albino. "Excuse me but what the hell is going on?! Who are you people! I am armed! And she had first dibs!" He yelled, hugging the slime for dear life and hoping the rabid white haired one and the clearly demon possessed floating child didn't decide to team up.

Dorothy barely made it ten paces away before gravity decided it didn't want anything to do with her anymore. The girl flailed about in mid-air in a panic until she realized that the big scary white dragon had somehow disappeared.

"Huh?" Dorothy looked around and realized that she was floating upside down, her earlier action putting her in such a weird position. Ironically enough, it was what finally gave her a sense of clarity.

"Fascinating..." She reached out to the ground above her in wonder. Dorothy had seen magic before but none that had an effect quite like this. Despite being upside down, she didn't feel her blood rushing to her head nor any kind of discomfort, quite the opposite in fact. It was almost like she was nestled in a cradle. The thought made her drowsy but the surrounding noises shook her off her reverie.

For the first time since her arrival, Dorothy finally took a good look around her. She was still invertedly aloft but for a genius like her, that was barely a bother.

There was... a colorful assembly of people gathered together. There was... a gentleman embracing some sort of dark slime-like lady in a dress. A swordswoman in weird clothes, an intoxicated albino, a horned-woman that looked disturbingly draconian, the last two stroking her nerves a bit, and finally, a thug surrounded in light fog.

"You there! Where are we? What is going on?" She pointed at the thug with her other hand on her waist. Noblesse Oblige demanded she acted accordingly to her aristocratic stature regardless of her physical one.

Vel was not quite expecting such a vigorous reaction. The shoggoth tilted her head slightly as Leith shot straight up, screaming in an amusing manner as he reached for something in his coat. It was a good thing she was trained to hide her emotions, otherwise she'd be slimy puddle laughing on the floor already. But she'd be a bad nurse and maid if she openly laughed at her patients discomfort. Perhaps this would be a good reminder to not play dead in the future, if nothing else.

"Ah..." What was mildly unexpected, was the boy proceeding to try and bury himself inside of her. He was quickly sinking into her gooey body. She glanced towards the group of other gathered individuals. For a moment she had to briefly wonder if Lila would get mad if she absconded with one of the 'heroes' but quickly pushed the thought out of her mind. No no, she needed to restrain herself. Restraint was good.

"A-ahem." Vel's body shifted, using a slimy appendage to pull him out of her body. "Young master, did you perhaps hit your head on the way down? You agreed to come here to help, as did others from other worlds." The shoggoth inquired. "While I doubt any seek to harm you, fear not for since you are in my care starting right now I will not let any major harm befall you." There was an emphasis on the word 'major' which might have been slightly concerning, but before he could question her, the nurse uniform seemed to shift into a more traditional maid outfit as she smiled. "Ah, silly me. I forget my manners when in front of something so fun looking. Allow me to introduce myself. Velktlthrih, a humble shoggoth maid at your service. You young master, may simply call me Vel." She clapped her hands, smiling in a fairly innocent and bright manner.

Augis

That could have gone better, Augis thought as he watched Lila stumble out of her hiding spot into the clearing. It couldn't have been the entrance that she was hoping to make, and certainly not the first impression she intended. Nevertheless, he assessed, things could be worse. The child was no longer panicking, and all things considered was handling her midair suspension fairly well. The snake reverted back to its human appearance and seemed to have a particular interest in Lila, perhaps due to the dragonblood's reptilian features. The fellow that Velktlthrih was attending to regained his consciousness and appeared unharmed. In fact, he clung to his aberrant caretaker, seemingly as interested in her as the snake girl was with Lila.

Quite the courageous one, to handle coming face-to-face with a shoggoth in such a manner.

"You there! Where are we? What is going on?" shouted the levitating child at one of the other new arrivals. Augis decided this would be a good time to reveal himself and explain before things had a chance to re-escalate. His attempts to push his way through the brush were hampered by seemingly every branch snagging his robes, as if the flora itself sought to restrain him. I should have simply disguised myself as a bush rather than trying to hide behind one, he thought to himself as he dislodged the branches from his attire. He managed to get through without tearing his clothing, although the resulting noise and movement eliminated any chance of making a subtle or discreet entrance.

"To answer your questions, madam, you are on a world known as Nova Terra, and were invited here. At least, I think you were. You'll have to ask Lila about the details, she's the one who brought you here," Augis spoke, pointing a gloved finger at the prone dragon girl. He himself wasn't totally sure about how this particular summoning worked. No rituals, no incantions in strange languages, no geometric symbols, just a few people falling out of the sky at a designated location.

"And I apologize about levitating you like that," the warlock continued, gently putting the girl down with a gesture of his other hand. "I was worried you might flee into the woods. Rest assured, we mean you no harm. Well, at least I don't. I can't speak for Vel over there."

One by one, the falling figures were reaching the ground, all pretty much unscathed. That was fortunate, Kamiko figured. Despite standing atop a massive serpent, she felt no particular danger in this situation. Given how her landing had been softened by an outside force, the fall hadn't been intended to hurt any of them. Besides, the ice bombs weren't thrown anywhere near the head, so no need to defend herself from the panicking child.

"Ah," Kamiko let out a soft utterance as the snake lowered itself to the ground, and began to shrink. She hopped off the head, and turned to see the massive creature had become a young, albino girl. Who immediately rushed over to a young woman who had fallen from some bushes and began touching her in strange ways. Kamiko tilted her head, watching the scene in mild bemusement before approaching. The lizard-like girl currently being... assisted by the albino snake was clearly preoccupied, so Kamiko struck up a conversation with another young woman that was apparently with the dragon.

"Oh, you were falling as well, huh? I guess we're in the same boat, more or less."
Sheer boredom had led Kamiko to circle an answer on that strange note. She hadn't even considered if it were a strange prank from a colleague or student. Maybe she just chose that single moment to vent her frustration, and now here she was. For everyone else, was it the same situation? As far as she could assess from a glance, no one else seemed to be strong as a fighter...

He turned to glance at a dragonlike girl who had emerge from a bush only to summarily fall on her face. He was about to restate his question in a more pointed manner to her when his attention was stolen from the appallingly clumsy girl.

He turned to see the most doomed attempt to look down on someone from such a low height he had ever seen. He had his fair share of dealing with nobles and heads of state, many of them paying him to wage war on the lands of other nobles and states. With this one he had great difficulty in not asking her where her parents were, despite the fact that she had dropped out of the sky along with him and the others.

In fact, the difficulty was so great that he failed. Rook got down on one knee, bringing himself more at a height with the girl. "Hi, are you lost? Where are your parents?"

Dorothy felt a bit disappointed when she was reunited with the ground, but turned her attention to more pressing matters.

"Nova Terra?... Invited? Are you talking about that letter?" She asked the strange masked man. He looked like nobility and so Dorothy decided to treat him as such.

Dorothy looked over to where he was pointing and saw the draconian girl. Apparently, that beastly barbarian looking girl was the one responsible for her, and apparently some others too, current predicament.

She was knee-deep into her own thoughts when she noticed that the thug-ish looking man was now paying attention to her. She felt a pang of irritation as the man looked down on her only to feel it surge into a spike of indignation when the man knelt down in front of her and started treating her like some clue-less urchin.

Her, Dorothy Baskerville, the prodigal daughter of the Great House of Baskerville, a lost child!

The sheer audacity of this man!

"L-lost!? Me!? How dare you insinuate such a thing! I am not some ignorant waif who can't tell right from left, you thuggish oaf!" With puffed-up reddened cheeks and a stomp of her foot, Dorothy began screaming at the man, completely forgetting the fact that she had absolutely no idea where she was.

Arisia

Arisia took a moment to gather her thoughts, and more importantly to make sure that everything she was seeing was what was actually happening. Of course, she'd agreed to be brought here and expected things to be... Different than they were back home, but the bizarre assemblege of people did cause her to stop and reassure herself that she wasn't under any kind of mental interference, or suffering from hallucinations.

...At the very least, the giant snake had disappeared, transforming into a girl who looked a bit younger than her. Not exactly the weirdest thing she'd ever seen, but it was up there at least. She did seem rather, uh... There was no polite way to put it, the former-snake seemed rather perverse, her words and actions immediately making it clear she was having some rather illicit thoughts regarding poor Lila.

Well, everything else aside, she couldn't just stand by whilst the poor lizard-y girl's virtue was in danger like this. Arisia twitched her head to the side, causing some vines Lila had fallen onto to lift her back up to her feet, and as soon as the poor girl was up again she stepped towards her and calmly placed a hand on her shoulder.

"My apologies."

Once more, her voice seemed rather expressionless, even as she stood very close to Lila, her belly almost pressed up against her back. Whilst she just wanted to keep her safe, others might think it looked rather more... Intimate than she intended, to say the least. As she stepped forward, however, she'd noticed one of the others had tried to speak to her; a pretty young girl in a rather lavish kimono.

"Oh... Yes. Thankfully, I was able to slow my fall." She nodded at the kimono-clad girl, before turning her attention back to Lila.

"Could you please explain what exactly is going on?"

Sure, she'd gotten an idea from the invitation, but... Something a little more in-depth would be appreciated.
