Zarina more of half listened to what Manny was saying regarding getting an infection in her arm from using Mr. Jaws to cut her arm open to see if it bled. She was already distracted by the small robot that was now nearby and heading back to it's little cubby hole in the wall. "I really want to get a better look at that thing," she muttered, and once Manny finished messing with her injury, she started moving about a little bit, following the little robot around as she slowly inched closer before she pounced on it!

Or well, more of tried to anyway, she missed.

She ended up hitting the ground, and yeah her arm was still hurting, but by some strange luck she managed to miss landing on it all together. "Come here you little rascal," she muttered, getting on her knees before she started crawling a bit towards the robot before she pounced on it again, managing to catch the thing this time. "Yay! I caught it! Can anyone loan me their knife or whatever so I can pop this thing open?" she asked as she flipped the robot over (after setting down Mr. Eyeball and Mr. Jaws next to her) so that it couldn't run away.

Raynor gripped his knife by the blade, offering the handle to Zarina. "Don't poke your eye out, kid."

"Thank you!" she said to him with a smile, taking the blade. Zari was more or less ignoring what everyone else was saying.

"Yep," Cal replied when Kyle asked if she'd passed the blood test, giving him a thumbs up as she answered, both as a show of confirmation, and to present him with the bright red smudge of blood that decorated it. Once the knife was in his hands, she joined him in his investigation, first taking the postcard between her fingers, and flipping it around to read it. Her brow wrinkled curiously, her lips jutting out in thought. "Huh. Weird," she casually stated, before giving it back to Kyle. It didn't take long for Cal's side of the investigation to lead her to the nightstand, inside of which sat an odd leather collar.

"Shit, that's kinky!" she exclaimed, lifting the neck piece in front of her face. She inspected it for any strange mechanisms or hints that might've suggested it was some piece of advanced technology like its previous owner, but she found none. It seemed just seemed like the kind of collar you'd get for a dog, but big enough for a person. After she was certain there wasn't anything dangerous about it, she put it around her neck, fastening it in place. She followed Kyle out, briefly popping into the bathroom to take a look at her new fashion item. It didn't exactly feel like her style, but it wasn't far off. It was honestly just nice to have a piece of clothing that wasn't scrubs.

Cal entered the Galley a few steps behind Kyle, taking up position beside him once he'd stopped walking. As he spoke, she silently raised her thumb, to prove her humanity to the rest of the group. "I mean, we're pretty sure," she answered when Sophia asked her question, before gesturing to the collar on her neck. "This lovely little piece of fetishwear was what was in her nightstand. Kyle found the postcard in some secret compartment in the dresser, so I don't suspect it belonged to her. Plus I can't think of anyone who'd send hugs and kisses to a robot." As if willed by a humorous deity, it was at that moment that she noticed Zarina trying to catch the space Roomba as if it were rabbit she wanted desperately to pet. Cal gave a small nod, an amused smile on her lips."Well, maybe one person, but I don't think she had anything to do with it."

When the subject of searching the rooms in pairs was brought up, Cal was surprised by her instinct to go with the kid. There was a strange instinct to protect her that Cal didn't completely understand. From the short time they'd known one another, it wasn't as if they'd gotten along swimmingly. Was she a mother? Was that where her urge to protect the kid came from? She didn't feel like a mom. Cal quickly drowned out the instinct with logic. One of the stronger, more put together people would probably be better match to look after the manic disaster child, and Cal didn't even want that responsibility anyway. Besides, the kid seemed preoccupied. So she turned to Kyle. "We already did a beaut of a job pillaging one room. Why mess with success?" She asked, extending her fist to him for a bump of acceptance.

Group breakdown

Kyle (9) & Cal (8) - Search room 11
Sophia (4) & Vinnie (12) - Search room 2
Manny (6) & Luke (10) - Search room 7
Tessa (2) & Noah (7) - Search room 12

Z (11) & Raynor(1) & Gordon (5)(chilling in the galley being awesome)

Location: Galley -> Room 7

"You should be good to eat your own blood." Manny said, with a half-grin to Vinnie. She was odd, but not the oddest of the bunch.

"If it was the android's card why was it hidden in a fake panel? We've only been here for about three hours. Or at least awake. That's what I meant by she's either been here longer than us, or these rooms were used by other people." Kyle explained to Sophia.

"I think there've been other people here before us." Tessa said. Her face looked a little pale. "There was a brown stain under my sink. I didn't think about it before, but it looked like dried blood."

"Well we've started splitting up. I'll make sure to look at your room too, Tessa." Manny said, he looked at the group. Zarina was distracted messing around with her robot.

"I'll go with you, Manny." Luke said. He felt more comfortable around the guy who seemed to know his way around knives and first aid kits. At least if he somehow hurt himself the guy could help him faster and better than any of the others. Manny nodded.

Tessa shrugged, "Whoever. And whatever room."

"We should stick with the rooms that weren't ours." Manny added. Luke knew he had searched his own room well enough but Manny had a point. This meant people couldn't be hiding things from each other. Manny collected the room numbers everyone had and assigned different rooms for each group to search. "Alright as soon as you're done searching the room meet back here in the Galley. Report back everything you found. Then we'll do another round until all rooms are done being searched." Manny hadn't bothered giving Zarina an assignment but he gave Raynor a look and then glanced at the kid. He didn't want Zarina left alone and while Manny wouldn't say that he trusted Raynor as he didn't trust any of the others. He got the sense that Raynor would watch out for Zarina. He trusted Raynor to do that, and as far as Manny was concerned that was what mattered most. That left Gordon without a partner, but the French guy seemed weird. If he wanted Gordon could join a pair and be a third set of eyes, but Gordon didn't seem inclined.

"Well then let's go." Luke said. He and Manny left and headed to room seven. They searched but didn't find anything that stood out to them. In a nightstand drawer was a photo of a younger Noah with two other kids at what looked like a fair or circus. The other two kids were an older looking boy, probably about seven years older than Noah, and a younger girl, maybe three years younger than Noah.

"I bet it is his family. God, we left people behind. They are probably freaking out and looking for us." Luke looked at the photo, asking it for its secrets, but it said nothing. Just three kids laughing have a wonderful day. Noah looked so young, but it was obviously him. "Do you think he found this when he was in here, before we got let out."

"I don't know. I know I did a search of my room."

"Did you find something in your drawer?"

"Yeah, my dog tags." Manny pulled them up from under his scrub shirt. Luke hadn't noticed them before.

"Military?"

"Army, found a tattoo on my arm." Manny lifted his sleeve showing his tattoo. "Otherside is a caduceus, which for some reason I know that it comes from a god named Hermes. That's why I know I'm a medical professional of some sort. We good."

Luke nodded. "Yeah. We're good. Sorry. I only found a swimmer's cap. No tattoos. I don't think I can get them cause of hemophilia. So I don't have any clues about who I am." Manny shrugged and went back to searching, leaving the photo in the drawer.

Eventually, the pair of them gave up hopes of finding any other clues and left the room. Failing to have moved the mattress on the bed.

Tessa didn't know who of the group she wanted to pair with. She was really with both Raynor, Gordon, and Noah since the other lines of the. She had a pretty good grip on Gordon, he seemed normal. Raynor gave her the creeps. There was something about him that seemed...buried under the surface.

"I'll go with you, Tessa." Noah said. She nodded. That worked. She didn't know this guy well yet. Just that he seemed to know space. He was smart. She wondered what else he knew. Could he get them home?

The pair of them went to room twelve. The room they had been assigned to search. Tessa did the obvious first thing when she started searching and checked the drawer that in her room had held the photo of her sitting on Santa's lap. She still hadn't pieced together the whole memory and hated not knowing who had been in the photo. Had that been her mother? She frowned.

In the drawer was a camera. Tessa didn't recognize it. Well, she knew it was a Polaroid camera but she didn't know much about it. She felt like she should. She felt like the information existed in her brain she just had to beat at the walls that kept her from those memories. She picked up the camera. Feeling its weight. But as she held it the memory slipped from her like water being desperately held in a sieve.

"Find anything?" Tessa asked turning back to face Noah who was coming out of the bathroom.

"No. Same as my bathroom."

"Probably the same as mine. Well, let's go see if any of the others have found anything important." The pair of them left room twelve, Vinnie's room, and went back to the galley.

Galley Group

For the three that were left in the galley, Gordon cleaned up the abandoned steaks and breakfast. He did pour himself another cup of coffee and left the carafe on the table. The hot liquid helped him calm down. He stared considering what to do with the android body. It was clear that whoever had set up this place hadn't anticipated a corpse being left in the eating area.

The little robot made some beeping noises. Its wheels spun in a futile attempt to move. However, when Zarina held it the robot seemed almost calmed. Its wheels stopped spinning.

Zarina was definitely insane and Vinnie actually felt a little bit bad for the space roomba. Cal seemed to be a different sort of crazy, wearing the fetish collar of the dead android. Vinnie shuddered, wondering if that was even sanitary. Vinnie considered herself to be the epitome of sanity as she cut off a hunk of her steak with her bloody knife and popped it into her mouth. She then got an idea and cut the rest of the steak up into small, nugget sized pieces that way she could bring the food with her on the search and continue to chow down. With everyone assigned into groups, Vinnie went with Sophia to room 2.

"So, this seems like the same abject design horror that was in my room," Vinnie commented, looking around. She popped another steak nugget into her mouth and swallowed it, before holding out the plate to Sophia. Sophia had been proven to not be a zombie robot and she had given Vinnie a cherry soda, so her loyalty was at least temporarily assured. "This steak is really good if you want some. It's like little nugget sized pieces now too, so you can just pop it in and chew, no bloody knife needed! Wait, no, don't eat those. These probably have my blood on it. So unless you're a space vampire witch, they're all mine."

She glanced around the room, setting her plate of blood contaminated steak down on top of the drawers. She started to tear apart the bed, pulling at the sheets and tossing them up into the air to try to shake something out, but nothing came. Vinnie frowned slightly. It had been a surefire way to find things or so it seemed. She turned to grab another piece of steak before she could've smacked herself, opening up the drawers. "Eureka! I found a photo!" she exclaimed to Sophia, pulling out a photograph of a girl sitting on Santa's lap. There was a woman nearby in the photograph, though her face was burned off. "Yikes, she must've been awful to get her face burned."
Raynor glanced over at Zarina after the others left, seeing that she was pretty happy messing with the little robot. Gordon had decided to clean things up, so Raynor stepped up to the magical vending machine and messed with it for a moment. The steaks were queued up on the machine's menu and Raynor fiddled about with it for a little bit, until he found what he was looking for. He ordered up three things of rum. He downed the first one instantly, setting it aside, before grabbing the remaining two and he sat himself down at a table.

"So are you trying to do anything in particular, kid?" he asked Zarina, nursing the second thing of rum.

Sophia watched as Zarina went to tackle the little space Roomba, she did kind of find it a little bit cute and entertaining to watch as she managed to grab onto it and Raynor handing off the knife for her to dissect the thing. When her attention turned towards Cal and Kyle as the two answered her question and nodded slightly. She just wasn't sure if it was the robots or the previous persons' belongings, but partnering up wasn't a bad idea either. "Sounds good to me then." Sophia said as she followed behind Vinnie towards Room Two watching Vinnie eating some steak that she took with her and shook her head slightly. "No thank you, i'm good." Sophia said declining since she didn't really know her, still something nagged at her she knew Vinnie for some reason.

Sophia started to make her way towards the bathroom and started to open everything in there, even going as far as trying to test if there was anything hollow by knocking on the wall. When she couldn't see or hear anything Sophia walked back into the bedroom as Vinnie searched the bedside table. Seeing the photo she still wasn't sure what it actually meant though but at least it was something as Sophia looked around the room once more. "The bathroom is clear. Cool photo though, I wonder who the woman is though." Sophia said shrugging slightly. "Should we head back?" Sophia asked Vinnie.

Zarina glanced over as it seemed like several people were pairing off to go look at other rooms or go exploring. In truth she kind of wanted to go too, but right now, she was more concerned with the robot in her hands who had tried to get away from her. "Nope, no can do... You are not going anywhere Zoomy," she said, now giving a name to the space roomba in her hands. A part of her was curious as to what was in the little cubby hole that Zoomy called a home, but figured she'd first learn what she could about the robot. Then she could see about poking her head over there to look. This entire place was just a bit insane in her mind, and she loved it so much.

She looked up at Raynor as he asked her a question and she shrugged slightly in response. "I mainly want to see how Zoomy here works. I'm curious about it, since I mean, we have no idea how we got here or anything, so might as well try to learn as much about our environment as possible right? Besides, maybe I can get Zoomy to follow me around or something, now that would be cool," Zari told him with a bit of a smile on her face as she attempted to open up the robot with the knife, unfortunately, the robot's compartment seemed to be a bit jammed. "Ruuuuuuuuuuuuude Zoomy! Why is your thingy jammed or whatever! What is it even jammed with?" she said rather quickly, before looking at the opening a bit more.

Clearly in her mind the thing wasn't designed correctly if the thing got jammed from liquid that the robot was designed to clean up. "Maybe we should give you an upgrade or something, since this is a bit ridiculous," she added, before getting up and going to the vending machine, before flipping through and managing to find some paper towels, which she then took and went back to the robot attempting to clean it up a bit before she tried opening the thing again.

Cal's lips pulled up into a small, relaxed smile when Kyle spoke his piece, agreeing to go along with her to investigate. Her smile shifted to a frown when Manny began to give out assignments. She didn't much care for his authoritative attitude, taking up the role of leader without discussing it with the rest of the group. Though she also recognized that she herself would not make a good leader. She mentally added this pair of observations to the list of evidence to suggest she was simply anti-authority, right alongside the piercing holes she had seen in the mirror.

When the pairs dispersed to investigate their given rooms, Team Names-That-Sound-Somewhat-Similar-But-Only-Share-The-Letter-L made their way to room 11. Upon entering, Cal, not being blind, noticed that it was exactly like the room she'd woken up with. The pair wasted no time in starting their search, turning the room upside down, with Cal occasionally making suggestive comments, non of which seemed to spark any interest in Kyle. Eventually, they'd thoroughly ravaged the room, and come out empty handed.

"Don't think anything's here, mate," Cal finally stated, her voice ever-so-slightly disappointed. A thought came to mind as she spoke, and she moved over to feel under the corner of the mattress, where she'd found her vial of liquid. Nothing was there, but checking reminded her that she should probably bring it up to the group soon. She stood to her feet, a lazy smirk on her lips as she looked to Kyle. "Best we go ahead and report our findings, or lack thereof, to the General," she said referring to Manny, her voice sarcastic in tone. She gave with a faux salute as she spoke, to emphasize her lack of seriousness.

Sophia (4) & Vinnie (12) - Search room 5
Manny (6) & Luke (10) - Search room 4
Tessa (2) & Noah (7) - Search room 6

Manny checked with the group. No one had found anything theory breaking, or confirming. They all found pictures or cameras or other such small items if anything at all. It seemed that they either had their item that they had found in their drawer with them, or had left it behind. Those items were all small simple and appeared to have a lot of meaning to whoever had been in that room. Why take their memories but leave them with an item that seemed to want to bring those memories back?

Luke and Manny went into room four. Manny, determined to find something, anything, searched the room more thoroughly than the last. Even going so far as to stand on the dresser and see if something maybe had been put in the vent. He couldn't reach it from the top of the dresser that was bolted into the wall, but it gave him a good view of nothing.

"Whoever set this up..." He trailed off climbing off of the dresser. "I don't know what the end game is. Things are contradictory. It seems like they are leaving clues for us to get our memories back, but at the same time making it impossible for us to do anything. Like that machine has tons of stuff available in it, but no screwdriver, unless you'd rather drink it. Like Raynor seems to be into." Not that anyone blamed Raynor. Getting drunk seemed like the right thing to do in all honesty. "We've got one more round of searching. Hopefully, we find something in the last three rooms."

Before Tessa left the galley again to go to room six Tessa stopped Vinnie. "This is going to sound weird, I have no proof obviously, but there is something about your camera that feels familiar. I held it in my hands when we searched your room and it felt like a memory was trying to surface. I couldn't get it to though." Tessa was about to ask Vinnie a question but Noah called her name.

"Come on Tessa let's get this finished."

"Talk to you later." Tessa said and hurried after Noah.

Despite what felt like a very thorough search of room six Noah and Tessa didn't find anything. Tessa was starting to think this whole thing was useless. They shouldn't even be bothering anymore. As far as she was concerned Kyle had found the one clue they had any hope to find.

Galley Group

Gordon went over to the machine and was playing around with some settings on it. He frowned as he found a buried menu. "Zarina. I think you'll find this interesting." He pointed at the machine with the new menu pulled up. It looked like it was a fabrication page. If someone put in the specs for something they could make it. "I think the machine is a replicator. Like from Star Trek." He didn't remember watching the show or learning what a replicator was, but when he looked at the machine and realized what it was capable of it was the only word his brain supplied. At least that was in English.

Sophia kept the picture in her hand and started to leave Room 2, looking over at Tessa as she spoked towards Vinnie mentioning the camera that apparently she had. "Lets go and check the one that has the five on it." Sophia said towards Vinnie as she made her way down the hallway and towards Room Five. She opened the door and started to look around as Sophia entered the bathroom, she didn't find anything out of the ordinary as she turned to leave it behind.

Sophia's attention turned towards the bedside table, she didn't see anything on the top of the table as she went and opened the drawer. She found a chef's hat inside and picked it up looking at it rather closely as she looked on the inside of it seeing the name Conant embroidered on the inside. "Does the name Conant ring any bells Vinnie?" Sophia asked as she got up and looked over towards Vinnie handing the hat over towards her to let her take a look at it.

Vinnie tilted her head, considering what Tessa had said. "It's a Polaroid, which were pretty popular back in the 80's and hipsters love to use them too. They're mostly about the aesthetic since there are obviously higher quality cameras... So maybe we're hipster buddies!" Vinnie exclaimed. It hadn't been something she had thought too much about - maybe she was a hipster. She seemed to know about cameras, but Vinnie wasn't sure if that really meant much in the long run. Other people, like the Doctor Dude, had some strong hints about what they had done before. All Vinnie had was a camera and some knowledge that they were really popular with hipsters. "I'll look at it again later, maybe knowing how much of the film on it was used will give us some clue or something?" she shrugged.

It was time for another round of searching anyways. She went with Sophia to Room 5, and while Vinnie was a searching pro this time, checking every nook and cranny thoroughly, Sophia had beat her to the chase, finding just about the only thing hidden in the room. Vinnie picked up the chef's hat Sophia had handed to her. "No idea. Maybe it's the name of a rat that lives inside of this thing and pulls the hair of the chef wearing it, so that way they can pretend to be a gifted cook and live up to the reputation of their deceased father?" she asked, before putting the hat on. "How do I look? Chefy?"
"Zoomy?" Raynor repeated, nursing the rum he had ordered. They weren't being assigned to go look for things, so Raynor was taking the initiative to thoroughly investigate the alcohol on hand. Someone had to make sure it wasn't poisonous after all and the best way to do that was by ingestion. He chuckled slightly as Gordon found out that the beverage machine could make entire robots, but not a screwdriver. "Maybe you can make Zoomy a pet - Zoomy Jr. He'll get lonely otherwise."

"Well I need to fix Zoomy up a little bit before I can even think about making a friend for him, and dang it I'm running out of places to put things I can't carry everything around or whatever!" Zari complained slightly, before an idea came to her head and she glanced over at the replicator machine and smiled slightly, thinking about what she was planning on doing. Getting up off of the ground, still carrying the space roomba in her hands she went to investigate the machine that apparently had a fabricator setting on it or something. It definitely was something that interested her a whole lot.

Walking to it, she started messing with a few buttons, until somehow she managed to create a bag with the machine. "Yes! I've got a bag now, hooray! No more having to just carry stuff around," she said happily has she put the bag across her body, over her left shoulder so the bag portion hung on her right. "Come on Mr. Eyeball and Mr. Jaws, you now have a new home!" she added as she scooped up the robotic parts from where she had left them and put them into her newfound bag.

Another thought came to her, and she turned back to the replicator, setting the knife that Raynor had handed her off to the side as she started messing with the machine once more, and this time, she triumphantly held up a screwdriver that she had managed to fabricate with the machine. "This is so cooooooooool! I wonder what other stuff we could make with this thing! Oh, but now to see what secrets Zoomy is hiding!" she exclaimed before she sat cross legged on the floor with the little space roomba in her lap, flipped over and she started fiddling to try and open it up. It took a little while, since someone had clearly tightened the screws way too much, but finally she managed to open it up! Inside was a bunch of wires and microchips, "This is so cool, I love it!" she added happily but she noticed that for some strange reason there was some writing or whatever it was inside of it that she couldn't understand at all.

After finishing up in Room 11, Team Names-That-Sound-Somewhat-Similar-But-Only-Share-The-Letter-L made their way back to the Galley with the others, reporting back their lack of findings. Once the short briefing was done, they made their way back to the hallway, continuing their inspection in Room 1. The pair rummaged through the empty room, but, unfortunately, they, once again, came up with absolutely nothing. Cal let out a loud, unconcealed groan.

"Shit, mate, I'm beginning to think we're not Sherlock and Watson here," Cal said as she pushed the empty drawer back into place. She didn't divulge who she thought was Sherlock, and who she thought was Watson, though that was primarily because she didn't think she needed to. He'd been the one to find the secret post card, and she was the one wearing the deceased robots BDSM collar. It was pretty obvious who was who. "Gonna be honest, I'm not even sure we could out-investigate Encyclopedia Brown." As soon the words came out of her mouth, her eyebrows furrowed. That was a book, right? She vaguely remembered the concept of a kid detective with the same name, but nothing more specific than that. She quickly shook the unimportant thought out of her head.

Manny once again assigned rooms for everyone. Since two of the last three rooms that needed to be searched were Kyle or Cal's he let them off the hook this round. Gordon grinned at Vinnie and said, "You look good in my hat. Though, may I have it back." He held out his hand for the hat back.

Manny and Luke went to room eight. As Manny searched the bed he found a small void where something might have been at one point, but otherwise, the room was clean. Luke came up just as empty-handed.

"Was all this searching really necessary?"

"That's to be seen." Manny replied. He could only hope someone had found something of some use. Or that gave them at least an idea of what was going on. He sighed and headed back to the Galley. He hated being trapped. He hated not knowing what was going on. He could feel his training itching to get out and get moving and fix the situation, but as far as he could tell there was no fixing it. Manny was impressed that the kid had gotten her hands on a screwdriver somehow.

Tessa had smiled at Vinnie, there was something itching at the back of her brain about the hipster girl and she couldn't place her finger on it. It was sort of driving her mad. It was like she had seen Vinnie on the back of a milk carton or something. She knew she knew her but had no idea why.

Her and Noah's search of their last room only turned up a climbing harness from the drawer. Tessa had a feeling it was missing some important bits, but she also had a feeling she had never climbed before. She knew what the harness was but not how to put it on.

"Think we should take this back?"

"I bet Manny would have an idea of what to do with it. Yeah." Noah nodded and let Tessa carry it back to the Galley. They were just about to sit back at the table when Manny and Luke came back in.

Galley Group

"I'd like to think I'm capable of doing a good search of a room. I can only hope we just didn't miss anything." Kyle said to Cal. "Though I am no Sherlock." He grinned. He didn't particularly think of himself as Watson either. He lacked some of the necessary training he believed. Manny was more like a Watson, military, and a doctor. Or at least that's the vibe Kyle had gotten from him. Cal's nickname of calling Manny General didn't feel too off.

Sophia turned to look at Vinnie and smiled for a moment and shook her head slightly, but then she stopped seeing a few flashes of seeing glimpses of a cooking show. "Well Gordon probably was on some kind of cooking show." She said and laughed slightly as Vinnie put the hat on her head. "Yes, you completely look like a chef now." Sophia said jokingly, before patting Vinnie on the shoulder. "Lets go and check out the remaining room." Sophia said as she left for Room 10, as she started to search around, she opened one of the drawers finding a swimming cap. She remembered it being mention that one of them who slept here found a swimming cap, and handed it over to Vinnie so that she could look at it.

"I'm going to check the bathroom, then we can head back." Sophia said as she entered the bathroom now, and started to look around she stepped into the shower, feeling that the shower dispenser for the soap and shampoo was a little bit loose. Sophia somehow knew how to take it off of the wall, having some memory of working and putting things together and taking them apart as well. She dug her fingers into the sides of the dispenser, giving it a few hard shakes and jiggles, until the casing for the dispenser popped off.

Setting it down onto the floor of the shower, she noticed a folded up piece of paper. Someone must have put it there for a reason, as she picked it up and unfolded it seeing it was written in ink saying "They will kill you.". Sophia got out of the shower looking a bit worried at Vinnie. "We need to go to the galley right away now." Sophia said as she started to make her way back towards the galley holding the small piece of paper and set it down on the table where everyone could see the words written on the paper. "Whoever wrote this says we are in danger, I found this while taking the casing off of the shower dispenser thing in Room 10."

"Damn right I look good," Vinnie agreed, striking a pose before she handed the hat back to Gordon. She then headed off with Sophia to room 10, the last room that they were assigned to search. Vinnie glanced around, a bit exhausted from how thoroughly she had searched the last room just to not find anything. Sophia handed her a swimming cap and Vinnie instantly became focused on it. "In my scientific opinion, the stretchiness is.... 28," she said, pulling on the swimming cap and sending it flying across the room. She skipped on over and grabbed it, stretching it out again and placing it on her head. She then took it off again, pulled all of her hair back, and did her best to try to get all of her hair under the cap.

"Sophia, maybe I was a hat model!" Vinnie called out. "I keep having the urge to try on hats. Is that a job? I feel like that's a real job. I also don't feel like I'm the sort of person for a serious job like... You must fill out this spreadsheet or the orphanage will be bulldozed to make room for a yoga center! Grr! That doesn't seem like me. Maybe I'm unemployed and just go around protesting things... I feel like I could shout and wave a sign," Vinnie rambled, forgetting entirely what they were supposed to be doing. "What would I protest though?" Vinnie thought for a moment. "Maybe for women's rights? I'm a women - a woman... FREE THE WOMEN! FREE THE WOMEN! Yeah, that feels almost right!"

She ceased in her practice at shouting as Sophia came out of the bathroom, looking worried. "Are you pregnant? Because all you need is a coat hanger to take care of that," she told Sophia seriously. Sophia had something small in her hands that she couldn't see. Maybe she had gotten a pregnancy test from the vending machine of requirement. "Or if you want to keep it, we can lesbian co-parent, as long as you weren't impregnated by a space zombie."

She arrived in the galley, where Raynor was continuing to drink rum and watch in amusement as Zarina completely geeked out over her creation. "Well I'm glad that we don't need to get you anything for your birthday now," Raynor told Zarina with a smirk. "And after you make Zoomy a pet, see if you can make a girlfriend for Gordon."

"What if Gordon wants a boyfriend?" Vinnie interrupted.

Raynor was about to answer when Sophia shared her discovery - a note cryptically saying they will kill you. His eyes narrowed. They could refer to his fellow amnesiacs, but he figured it more likely was whoever was responsible for sending them here. "Okay, vacation's over kid," he told Zarina. "If that note was hidden in a suite, it's safe to say there might be more in the other areas on this... ship or space colony or whatever."

Vinnie looked pale, terrified at the prospect of people they didn't even know trying to kill them. "Can I, um, suggest we keep with the buddy system? If we're alone, well that's how people always get killed in the movies... They think they're safe and BAM! A saw goes through their neck."

Zari was more then happy examining the wires and all of the mechanics that caused Zoomy to be able to operate. She glanced up somewhat as the others started coming into the galley area again, and wondered if they had found anything even remotely interesting. "Did you find anything cool or whatever in the rooms? Or maybe more robots? More robots would be cool, but that's just me, I'm perfectly fine with just Zoomy here and Mr. Eyeball and Mr. Jaws if need be for a while. So what did ya find? Or did you find nothing? Part of me hopes you found nothing, but part of me says it would be cool if you found something interesting!"

She knew that she was rambling just a little bit, but she didn't care all too much as they came into the room and were talking about what they found. When Sophia started commenting about something on a piece of paper, she stood up off the ground and wandered over to see what was written there, still holding onto Zoomy as she walked over. "...So there probably are other people, and there might be people who want us dead or something? That doesn't sound very good..." she muttered, since in her mind this was more then a little bit concerning. Why would people want to keep them trapped here or something? That was a question that was sitting in the back of her mind and it wouldn't go away.

”Well I’m sure as hell not Sherlock,” Cal replied to Kyle, her crooked grin hanging lazily on her lips. As she waited for the others to return from their individual searches, she sat in one of the numerous seats around the table, slouching, legs inelegantly spread out in a manner more fitting of a juvenile delinquent than someone supposedly 75% sure she was a medical professional. She sat up straighter, however, as Sophia rushed into the room, proclaiming that they were in danger. Cal’s smirk turned into a half frown, and she popped up from her seat.

”Whoever ‘they’ is, we should do is be prepared to defend ourselves. Kill ‘them’ before they kill us. Anyone got any Batman ‘no-killing-no-matter-what’ rule we should know about?” she asked as she walked over to the touch screen. There was a hesitation in her voice when she mentioned killing, but she seemed to push past it. Her fingers pranced across the screen, looking for any sort of weapon. It didn’t have much in the way of actual weapons, though with everything she scrolled through, she imagined possible ways for it to be used as a weapon. Finally, she tapped the screen a couple times, and two darts emerged. She took them in one hand and turned around. “We’ve all got knives, but we shouldn’t stop there. Something that can be thrown probably ain’t a bad idea. Oh, also,” she began to say, remembering what she’d found in her room. She reached into her pocket, pulling out the small vial and holding it up. ”Found this in my room. Not sure what it is, but I decided I’d hold onto it.”

Gordon looked at Vinne, "Could be both." He winked at her. Other than Sophia and Zari's discovery, it seemed little had been found by the search groups.

With the group gathered back in the Galley, the conversation turned to the worrisome note Sophia had found. Tessa sat on the table, feet on the bench, braiding a small section of hair. For Vinnie, there was something familiar about the motion, as if she had seen Tessa doing it before. Vinnie got the feeling of tests as she watched Tessa.

Tessa looked over at Manny, who was looking at the note. He nodded as if he decided something. "Alright, the biggest place we've seen is the Atrium. If there is going to be a way further into this ship, it'll probably be there. None of you happen to be spaceship builders or like astrophysicists or something by chance?"

Noah shifted. "Not astrophysics but, something close, I think. There is a lot of math in my head about what it would take to get here. It isn't easy. The worst part is unless whoever put us here knows how to manipulate gravity or has wormhole technology; it isn't the distance that is the issue." Noah frowned. Tessa tilted her head, trying to understand what Noah meant.

"Care to explain to the uh...I don't know English majors in the group?" Tessa asked, raising her hand. Noah nodded and looked at her.

"Time. Even at the speed of light, we are a long time away from home." It clicked. She understood relativity well enough. She didn't think she was an English Major, but there was a joke at the edge of her memory. Something about what to do with a BA in English, which she weirdly wanted to sing.

"I suggest we check out the Atrium, see if we can find a way out of there into the rest of the ship. Yeah, keep the same groups. Gordon, you can pick a group to join."

"I'll just join you and Luke." Gordon said.

"What are you hoping we'll find there, oh, Captain, my Captain." Tessa frowned at what Kyle said there was that nagging feeling of knowing something again but with no context. She knew she had heard that phrase but had no idea from where. However, she had an extremely clear image of who Batman was in her head. She felt that if asked, she could quote the show and comics. Her memory flooded with pictures of the DC Universe of comics. She'd have to sort through that later. "As for killing or not killing," Kyle said to Cal. "I think I prefer trying not to kill, but if our lives are truly in danger I have no problem with it."

Noah, Gordon, and Tessa all seemed hesitant at the idea. Tessa going so far as to say, "Honestly, I don't know if I can do it. I suppose we'll see if it comes down to it."

"As long as it isn't my blood, I think I'll be okay." Luke said. Tessa could guess Luke had never had to kill anyone before, but he seemed sure of his body. She also could take a not so wild guess that Manny wouldn't have an issue with it. It felt like he had been trained for this sort of situation, which explained why he had also taken charge so easily. Not that anyone had stepped in and tried to assert control of the group.

Knives were collected by the group, each person trying to find a place to store said knife on themselves without also hurting themself.

Manny walked over to Cal and looked at the vial she had. There were no markings on it. And the bottle was extremely standard looking. "I don't know what it could be, but let me get a syringe from the machine in case we need it." He entered a pattern into the replicator and looked at Cal. "Do you want to keep the vial or want to hand it over to me?"

Sophia looks at the others for a moment, before raising a hand slightly. "I do know some engineering, but not really the aeronautical kind though. But it might be a bit useful to getting to other places in the ship, if I have the right tools." Sophia said not sure how she actually remembered any of that as looking at the others. She looked at Cal and shook her head slightly she didn't want to kill anyone at all they could get answers that they need. "I'm going to say no to the whole killing thing, they could have answers or something that we need." She said, though she liked the pairing up Sophia felt like she could trust Vinnie even if she accused her of being one of the people who had taken them here or something.

"Works for me, just stay in eyesight of everyone to be on the safe side." Sophia looked at Vinnie and waved for her to follow her, she wasn't going to waste anytime now. She headed into the Atrium again, and looked around seeing the little planted area with some flowing water. Sophia decided to make her way over therem and moved up stream, until she found a grated spot where the water was coming out of, seeing that there were some screws. "If anyone has a screwdriver that would be really great." Sophia called out.

"I have no idea if I've ever killed someone before," Vinnie admitted. "But if it's kill or be killed... I guess I could do it as long as it isn't too gross? Like is there a way to just calmly kill someone with a button with your eyes closed, so you don't know? Like Schrodinger's Murder - they're simultaneously dead and alive until you open up your eyes?" Vinnie rambled. The thought of killing someone did send goosebumps up and down her arm. It wasn't from a moral objection to killing, it was more of because every murder she could picture involved blood spraying everywhere and zombies coming back to life with rotting flesh to feast upon the humans left alive.

"Kill or be killed, it's practical," Raynor agreed with Cal. He wasn't squeamish like Vinnie. In fact, he felt calm and steady at the thought of killing other people. He didn't have to think twice about it or think over the morals involved. To use an Avatar metaphor - he fell far closer to Kyoshi than he did Aang when it came to using violence.

"What do you mean, time?" Vinnie blurted. Her heart started pounding and she didn't want to connect those dots. "They got us all the way out here and we aren't crazy old or mummies, so they should be able to get us back, r-right?" It made sense to her. Whoever brought them here must have had some sort of wormhole warping sort of technology, some form of teleportation. All they needed to do was find it and use it to get back to Earth. They were from Earth, right? Vinnie was pretty certain they were, even though the only thing she knew about herself was her name. "We're the good guys, every story has the good guys win - so we're going to get back home and it'll be fine and we'll just have to make flashcards with the names of the people who love us and stuff, but you know that'll be easy after all of this!"

She felt like she was about to cry as she followed after Sophia to the atrium. She peered over Sophia's shoulder, trying to see what she had gotten interested in. "WE NEED A SCREWDRIVER OVER HERE!" Vinnie shouted, figuring her voice was naturally louder than Sophia's and someone else might hear her.

Back in the galley, Raynor didn't hear a sound. "Come on, kid, let's grab your things and head on out, see what we can find," he prompted Zarina. "Maybe that robot will come in handy. Could use it to bash in someone's brains."
