Hello there! I'm Andreyich, you may recognize me from the constant shitposting on the status bar. Anyways, with current events I am once again looking for 1x1 partners to hopefully form long term RP connections. Well then, lets get into it.
I'm Belarusian, in denial of the fact I'm now in the latter half of my twenties and am soon going to be called a boomer by teens. My timezone is of course European but sleepless night often mean I'm on when I otherwise shouldn't be. I worked from home for years so I'm pretty much always available for a quick word. I spend most of my days on RuNet, so how I write/act/etc. might seem a bit alien but trust me, I'm friendly! I have more than enough hobbies to get me called a neckbeard basement dweller if not for the fact a good chunk of them are social or physical. I've been RPing for almost 15 years now, starting with reenactments, followed by LARPs, followed by TTRPGs and now online stuff. If you have any other questions feel free to ask, I could mention every little thing about myself if asked but I don't want to ramble on like a narcissist.
Let's get this right out of the way. I'm looking for someone casual+, average of at least three paragraphs, but I'm not really going to be counting. Mistakes happen, and as an ESL person myself I understand the difficulty of this god-forsaken language. That said, I'm expecting you to be pretty literate. I'm hoping for a post a month as a bare minimum (any less and we probably won't vibe.), and if you find yourself having delays and such I beg of you to communicate. OOC communication is unbelievably important.
Ideally I'm hoping this partnership will be equal with similar input and effort from both sides, even if this is more or less impossible (particularly if ends up more with one party DMing for another) but certainly decision making should be equal no matter what. I'm not asking for your age but be an adult please I'm not dealing with kids and
Perhaps most importantly we gotta click. Some people do, some people don't. If one of us is super active elsewhere but is doing nothing for the RP, well then we both know we didn't work together. If our posts are super brief, or feel like chores, I'd rather we just part ways.

As written above I'm an RPer with decent enough experience. I like a good load of genres, fandoms, the likes. I'm pretty regular with posting, generally doing 1 or 2 a week, sometimes faster or slower depending on what you're giving me and what room there is to reply but I will get stuff out; I've even used a TTS program to write a post because I had an arm injured from trying to lift a little more than I could. As 'main characters' I almost exclusively play men, but as side characters I do loads. If you are liking for any kind of romance in the RP, I can only oblige for a straight pairing, sorry.
I'm glad to make OOC friends, and to help us vibe I very much like to chat OOC on discord or the like if you are up for such. I like sharing art I think fits the scene or music or the RP as a whole. Worldbuilding is fun too, since I know that's a keyword people love to see. I also appreciate honesty, if you think something isn't interesting in the RP, if you think I'm doing something wrong if you're struggling to make posts because you're busy OOC.

I'm not looking to write porn. I'll write adult stuff if we naturally get to such a place and you want it, but I'm happily married and I am not looking to get off online. Just like with romance in general I don't want an RP to revolve around adult stuff, even if I am comfortable with its presence. Similarly I'm chill with violence and pretty much every other adult topic but I don't want it to be the whole focus of the RPs.
I think they can be fun, but let's not spend time on them that can be spent actually writing together, eh? Especially for new characters we introduce. I heard good advice years ago: Show, don't tell. Long exposition of your character's backstory is usually more fun in character than in some formatted CS, even if we could think up basics beforehand. Its boring as hell if I know your character's dad taught you some cool shit or you lost a close friend as a formative experience if its up front.
Now with all the bureacracy out of the way, let's get to the fun!
Fandoms:
WarCraft: Played games 1-3, played WoW shortly before cataclysm and towards its end stopped, I still read whatever shorts stories/books are free.
Mass Effect: Played games 1-3 extensively, a great setting for all kinds of RP.
StarCraft: Played all the games and loved them, more than happy to do something with this.
Warhammer Fantasy: I have many GBs of books downloaded and play TWW/Vermintide quite a bit, I love the setting through and through and I would love to do something in this
Warhammer 40k: Same as above, I play much of the vidya and read many of the books, eager to do something in this.
Heroes of Might and Magic (Ashan): It's a rare thing to find people who like this universe in RP circles, but man I'm in love with this world and would absolutely adore an RP in this.
Discworld: This is largely a universe of satire and humour but imo its perfect for all sorts of action both serious and humourous.
STALKER: Really popular amongst folks here and I am no exception. The Survarium spin-off(ish) world is also sick
Metro: both the books and the vidya are an amazing setting for RP
Russia 2028: aka Escape From Tarkov Universe, pretty cool shit here
Lord of the Rings: Love the books and the movies (not the hobbit tho smfh) are good shit too
Splinter Cell: love the books and games, although it's hard to do something exactly in this (and really there isn't much point) something based on this would be sick.
Firefly: Much like above its kind of hard to do something in this exact universe, but something very similar would be badass
Doctor Who: you might be seeing a pattern here. its difficult to do something in this particular universe but its amazing and I had to bring it up
Deus Ex: I played both the old and the new games and there is a lot to work with. I don't think there is much good RP that could be done in the setting itself but the high tech dystopia theme it makes is unparalleled.
Bioshock: the perfect creepiness, particularly 1/2. One of the few true horror medias I have genuinely liked.
Fallout: played every single game except Tactics and BoS and its a great setting for RP stuff.

And what shoulder, & what art,
Could twist the sinews of thy heart?
And when thy heart began to beat,
What dread hand? & what dread feet?

Genres:
Fantasy: I mostly like low/mid fantasy but if someone has a very good idea I can do high fantasy.
Historical: I absolutely love history from all eras and cultures, the past is incredibly interesting.
SciFi: the future has a certain je ne sais quoi on top of the classic reasons we love it of high tech and unpredictability.
Action: Let's be real, more than half of RP has an element of combat and violence and I'm not exception in looking for this stuff
Thrillers: The cooler cousin of the horror genre, I love me some mind fucks that aren't just attempts to bring fear for its own sake.
Politics: High stakes, scheming left and right, lies and half-truths, damn I like this.
Slice of Life: Important note it can't be just ordinary 9 to 5 stuff. I want to go about the day of say... a peasant in the 11th century, not Bob Johnson driving 1 hour home on the highway after he spent his day looking at a spreadsheet.
Subgenres: Narrowing down from the genres above, this is more particular, curated stuff
Medieval: I love Knights, Monarchs, the likes
Western: Pew-pew with six-shooters, what more do you need?
World Wars: Dying in trenches or in bombing runs fuck yeah
Dark Fantasy: Aka fantasy that isn't noblebright. The nobility tread upon the throats of the commoner, and there is naught they can do to fight back. Wars are fought for petty squabbles, plagues and starvation are common, etc. etc.
Space Opera: Think Firefly and SC1/BW along with some of Star Wars / Star Trek, almost to scifi what low fantasy is to fantasy but with more cowboys and bounty hunting.
Post Apocalyptic: In particular I like post-post apocalypse if you catch what I mean, whatever the big bad event is the immediate aftermath be it radiation, zombies, or different global temperatures has more or less come to pass and cease to be a serious threat, but with the collapse of industry it has come to be that blade has come to be as common as rifle, horse as common as car.
Military/Paramilitary/Spy: combat stuff in the modern day. I very much enjoy reading all about militaria and would welcome an RP in this.

Themes:
Romance: Yeah lovey dovey stuff, this is very popular in 1x1 searches among folks here and again I am no exception.
Bromance: Platonic friendships as or stronger than bond by blood. Fistbumps all around!
Intrigue: subterfuge, whispers in the dark, devious plots oh yeah this is perfect
Grand Quest/Adventure: the search for some grand holy grail or philosopher's stone or any other MacGuffin, this is such a romantic idea I absolutely adore.
Moral Ambiguity: doing someone in not because they deserved it but because you needed it to survive or stay free. Worlds where dictionaries don't really bother containing "good" and "evil" any more. THAT SAID, I am at the same time a big hater of "anti-heroes". Tough choices, I understand. But romanticizing vikings as noble savages? Fuck that.
Coming of Age: Cheesy as hell. Not necessarily what people expect by that with stuff like two kids in school and such. Can be two lads both going through the same trials to become members of some Knightly Order or two yokels going to Vietnam and so on and so forth. Not looking to play actual kids though, just stuff like 17 year old conscript boys or whatever.
Rags to Riches: going from the bottom to the top, or at least the attempt to do so. A beautiful dream.
Subthemes/Flavour:
Getting over the past: For one reason or another our characters were against each other, perhaps as far as filled with murderous hatred. But for one reason or another they must overcome this and come together.
Coming past differences: Kind of similar to the above. Our characters have radically different backgrounds (culture, class, etc.) and must learn from each other persevering over their different outlooks on life and getting closer because of it.
Positions of Power: one of us is mentor to the other, or perhaps a body guard, or something of that sort.
Forced Proximity: similar to a few of the above and will almost always be with those subthemes/flavour, this is when our characters would in no reasonable situation be in the same place. Too bad something with a million to one chance to happen occurred.

Plots and Prompts:
Please note, I am vaguely open to a reversal of roles in all of these options, as long as the idea is interesting enough.
In this, I will be playing a figure of authority and law, as opposed to you being a criminal or similar that is to be apprehended. My character will do so, however on the journey to turn you in, run ins with danger and other problems force your character to be unbound to resolve it. While this is a temporary affair, it happens again, and slowly the shackles come off, we gain each other's trust, and eventually forget about what brought us against each other in the first place.
The pairing can be anything across time, space, universes. A Texan Ranger and an Outlaw, a Knight and a Witch, a spy and one from a rival agency, a bounty hunter and his quarry. Generally I imagine this to be somewhat episodic, with one of us narrating one of the places we visit that gives us trouble, then vice versa ad infinitum.

In this I want to play a travelling trader. You will play my bodyguard, guide, whatever, a person responsible for some aspect of the trader's journey going well. I expect this to also be episodic with one of us narrating one of the places we visit that gives us trouble, then vice versa ad infinitum. For setting I would prefer this to be post-apocalyptic (Fallout would be amazing) but medieval, scifi, even historic would possibly do.
This could be seen as a combination of the above two ideas. Your character and mine were at odds, but reluctantly they make a deal. At baseline, I was thinking your character would be a demon of some sort under the thumb of a much mightier demonic master. My character would have some reason to want to go into the hells be it wanting vengeance on someone else there, or perhaps freeing someone important to him. Your character agrees to be a guide for mine, in exchange for my character helping yours achieve their freedom from their master. At least initially, things revolve around their mutual distrust and concerns that the other might be trying to weasel their way out of the deal.
Much more vague of an idea. We're refugees fleeing something. Could be some historic conflict or cataclysm, could be something fantasy or scifi. Maybe we didn't know each other, maybe we did. Probably more fun if we're from different backgrounds. But for one reason or another our characters have to go about and do stuff together.
My character is someone who is responsible for regicide, or some other crime against your character (doesn't have to be royalty, can be anything really. from a dragon to some cleric) or their family or friends or comrades. Maybe he was tricked into it, or maybe he was a willing participant, details can be ironed out. Either way, he was cursed as a punishment for his actions. Eventually, years later he comes upon your character and has to serve them as a penitence in an effort to undo the curse. Lots of potential for fun angsty stuff here as perhaps my character tries to hide who he is leading up to some big reveal. Could also have some modification to the idea where my character had a Faustian bargain/deal with a devil that backfired on one or both of them.
Loosely fantasy of some sort, one of us would play a demon being 'redeemed', and another a fallen angel. Beyond that the idea is nebulous, but I think it would be a fun pairing as both characters get together to do... something while both learn of the others motivations, mistakes, regrets, etc. ideally this is with somebody who has researched at least some theology, any from Abrahamic to Dharmic to Zoroastrian.
Also, obvious inspirations from Neil Gaiman's work Good Omens. Would be fun to have a dynamic where they're like a pair of old geezers always bickering yet also inevitably sticking by each other because nobody else 'gets it'

In this, my idea was that I'd play an Imperial or at least someone from the Empire, and/or a Nord and/or someone from the Stormcloaks. You would play someone of the Thalmor, so this is decisively after the White-Gold Concordat. Our characters fucking hate each other. But they'd be forced to work together when a Necromancer is bringing dragons back from the dead to try take over the world, or perhaps some Hircinite Cultists are trying to make everyone werewolves, idk. But basically, something out there is so vile our characters get over this seething hate for each other and work together to save the day, and maybe the world!
When I played Skyrim I was really fucking pissed with the Dawnguard DLC. First I join the Dawnguard, but I can't kill this vampire bitch. Then, as I warm up to Serana, clearly a favourite of the writer, I can't smash? Nasty. Anyway, not to ramble. Its a very corny idea, but I want to pretty much go through the plot of Skyrim but with somebody to be a Serana with me. After the story is complete, who knows from where we'll go....
If you like what you see please send me a PM. Posts here will just be taken as bants. We can continue on there or move on to discord. While I'm cool with open ended PMs I'd prefer it if you mentioned what overlap of interests you have found between us + a bit about yourself just so we can get the ball rolling faster. Please don't post here, I will ask any posts here to be removed and I probably won't be eager to RP with you if you do so. I'm open to hearing any ideas you may have though please at least engage with mine to some degree. If none crossed your mind but you think we'd vibe, at least rationalize this. Too many times I've been asked to RP by people who have no interest in any of what I was looking for and are just looking to have me fill some niche.
FINALLY, if you message me, I beg of you to be as precise as possible as to what you want to RP and do in it, the vibes, etc. I'd rather none of us coming out of left field for the other.
