[IC] Pokémon: Legacy of Trainers (Slice of Life RP)

Faye is glad that Emily and Sarah let her stay in a guest room at the ranch. She is brushing Eski her Ninetailes as her other Pokémon are eating their breakfast. All of her Pokémon ears perk up and wonders what the commotion is going on this morning.

Emily had gone to check things out. She gasped when she found out what happened. She went back inside to get her own pokemon and such. She passed by Faye's room.
"Sorry about the commotion."
She gave an apologetic look to Faye.
"It appears some wild pokemon broke into the main storage shed. Luckily it was mainly food that was taken but still, it is worrisome."

Sarah had gone off to see if she could track those wild pokemon. However, the trail stopped just short of the fence-line. She sighed.
"What now?"
she spoke out loud, glancing around a bit.

Past the edge of the woods, a large pile of fallen leaves shifted slightly. The camouflaged man moved slowly and quietly to take notes while avoiding detection.

The introduced species seem to have stolen manufactured Pokemon food from civilization rather than foraging or hunting for themselves. They are teaching this pattern to some native species, which is worrisome.

Eric shifted back into his leafy disguise, staying breathlessly still for a couple minutes. Then the slightest bit of camera lens peeked out as he snapped a few photos of the thieving Pokemon.

The pokemon in question were sharing the stolen food with each other. They paid no attention to anything else at the moment.

Sarah continued to glance around. She stood by the fence, confused. She sighed.
"This is worrisome. Wild pokemon never caused trouble around here in the past. What the heck happened?"
She frowned, wondering what to do.

Fayerecalls her Pokémon set for her Arcaine and see what is going on. She and Arcaine leaves the rooom to catch up with Sarah to get some information.

Sarah was heading back. She had few clues to work with. Since she had left her pokeballs behind, she was going back to get them before continuing to try and figure things out. She sighed, thinking.

Faye and her Arcaine stops in their tracks wondering what Sarah found out about the wild Pokémon.

Sarah saw them. She paused for a moment. She was soon walking in their direction.
"I apologize for the chaos."
She had that look on her face as she spoke.
"Are you alright?"

emï“Yes, annd e you alright and is any of the Pokémon hurt,” Faye ask as her Arcaine sniffs Sarah?

Sarah shook her head no.
"No pokemon were hurt. I'm also fine. There was just a break in at the main storage shed. It appears a window was broken. Luckily it was only some pokemon food that was stolen, but it is still worrisome."
She frowned.

“Do you need help clean up the mess, it could be a bad harvest season,” Faye said as her Arcaine sniffs the ground.

Sarah took a breath. She managed to keep herself calm.
"I could certainly use the help. Thank you. Emily already has her own chores to do. I could not ask her for help. She already has a lot to do today."
She faintly smiled a bit.

Faye and her Arcaine walks to the main storage to clean up the mess. Arcaine sniff around for clues.

Sarah followed suit. She helped with the clean up. She grabbed a broom and dustpan and such and got to work. She raised an eyebrow when she saw the Arcanine sniffing around a bit.

Eric crawled a couple feet closer to get a clearer shot. He took a couple more photos of the Cloyster. It was quite unusual to see such a Pokemon so far from a body of water. Chances were slim it thrived well enough in a lightly wooded area to evolve. More likely, some callous trainer thought this would be a good place to drop off a bulky water/ice type if they wanted to make sure the Cloyster could never bother them again.

The raven-haired man put away his brooding thoughts and turned back to focus on the task at hand. ...Oh no. The Cloyster was staring right at him. A couple other Pokemon followed the Cloyster's gaze. The young man's heart started thumping as his brain came up with two options for his predicament. Run, or hope the Pokemon would not mind him being there.

And so, Eric ran.

He didn't dare take the time to look back and see if anything was actually chasing him. Eric put all his focus into sprinting the shortest path out of the woods. His speed was admirable, but the kind of strength required to climb over the fence into Sarah's ranch proved a bit lackluster.

Emily was outside, tending to the other pokemon. That was when her pokemon, released from their pokeballs, all went on alert. Ivysaur was agitated, but her Pidgeot reacted first. It flew off towards the fence. Emily gasped, shocked.
"Pidgeot?! What's wrong?!"

But, the flying/normal type kept going. He eventually spotted the human who was climbing the fence(Eric).

“He is snifffing out the Pokémon sriccent to track them,” Faye said as her Arcaine’s ear twitch and takes off runing to the fence where Eric just climb over.

Eric managed to reach the top of the fence and was starting to climb down the other side when he saw a Pidgeot flying overhead. Damn! There's a flying type with them, too. The young man decided there was no time to waste, he must hop down and hide fast. He winced a bit on the landing but recovered quickly. Eric hastily squeezed under a couple large bushes and lay flat into camouflage mode, looking much like a pile of drying leaves.

Sarah frowned a bit. She nodded. She blinked and froze a bit, but only for a moment, when she saw the Arcanine suddenly take off. She turned towards Faye.
"I believe your Arcanine spotted something."
She went to follow the pokemon.

Emily had run after her pidgeot. She had gotten all of her other pokemon back in their pokeballs for the time being. The baby Gengar had been a bit stubborn but a pokemon treat got her to calm down enough to willingly go inside hers. Anyway, Emily ran until she saw that her Pidgeot had stopped over the fence. She frowned and looked down. She thought she saw movement in a couple of the bushes.
"............?"
She approached closer.
"Hello? Is someone there?"
