So I was doing some thinking and I realized that my original idea of "1 day = 1 turn" might get real slow, real fast yet I don't want to skip too much. Even doing 1 week = 1 turn feels like too much.
How do people think of 3-4 days = 1 turn?

Well actually if I'm thinking logically then at the start the first thing the Conclave needs to do is two very important things:
- Build something; specifically a grove somewhere in a densely wooded area, just simple fencing and like makeshift shelters.
- Hunting/Gathering: So we have surplus food & materials.
I want to ask something before we begin. What are the relations going to be between Gangs? We're going to be founding and managing one settlement all together, right?
