@Izurich That looks fine, Upgrade complete.

@The World Unrestricted mobility is pretty good for silver without also being immune to fall damage. Also, having ghost legs makes it impossible to accelerate by kicking off things, sliding, etc. basically consequences of her new form of movement. If that sounds fine to you, upgrade complete.

@Majoras End Add "Round" after "next" to complete your upgrade. Then you're fiiiine.

Weeeellll, it might have become too powerful for silver now, but I specified some stuff and added a conditional. I'm guessing the conditional will need nerfed or removed, but doesn't hurt to try right?

@The World Talked to Erode about it. It's a little complicated for a silver genre, and we don't think it's a good idea to have specials that can act as spells.

Also, guess I'll put my pending upgrades here.

INSTRUMENT: Bipartisan
Bipartisan is a large caliber hand gun paired with a steel riot shield. No extra frills. It's awkward to manage, but Su's accuracy doesn't suffer.

GRADE: Silver
KEYWORD: Handgun, Greatshield
DAMAGE TYPE: Physical
DAMAGE: C
SPEED: E
SENTINEL: B
SPECIAL: Blast Zone: When the face of the shield slams into an opponent, it releases a small explosion of debris. This inflicts as much arcane damage as an E grade damage note.

INSTRUMENT: Pit Boss
A staff that has been curved into a loop. It's not very practical as a weapon, but it does make it easier for Luna to tap into her magic.

GRADE: Silver
KEYWORD: Staff
DAMAGE TYPE: Arcane
DAMAGE: D
SPEED: B
SENTINEL: D
SPECIAL: Win some, Lose some: Before Luna attacks with her weapon, a D20 is rolled to determine the type of buff/debuff that will be associated with the attack.

1 and 20: ALL
2-7: SENTINEL
8-13: SPEED
14-19: DAMAGE

On an even number, the associated Stat will be ranked up. On an odd number, the target of the attack will be ranked down. Lasts a single round.

Blast Zone looks fine. Honestly, considering your whole statement of how dual wielded weapons can possess different damages, I dunno why Breacher couldn’t just have something like “shield does Arcane damage, gun does Physical”, and then have a separate special.

Win Some Lose Some is sorta iffy, because it’s not really a situational effect at all, and it doesn’t rely on actually hitting. If you could affect someone else simply by imagining that you’re targeting them, it’s pretty much an unavoidable debuff (on odds) that can’t even be resisted by Arcane defense or absorbed by Reflect. And it gets weirder when you start imagining Tetrad targeting multiple people with her spray n pray.

@ERode Dual weapons can possess different damages if they use a special for it. That's not something I'd personally allow for free.

The intent for Luna's weapon is for it to be on hit and only on the first target. Suppose we could make it resistible via a certain level of arcane defense.

Here's my tentative Silver upgrade. Let me know if the Special is a little too overpowered/not situational enough.

@BrokenPromise Sure. For Win-Lose then, just say something like 'On Tetrad's first shot, a D20 is rolled. If that shot hits an enemy combatant, the buff or debuff triggers.'

@Ponn So here's the question. Are you intending on it being a 'debuff' to the target's defense that others can take advantage of, or are you intending it to be a 'defense-penetration' that applies only to her own attacks?

@Erode

Defense penetration that only works for the attack in question.

@BrokenPromise Snagging myself a Silver Style. After some consideration, my conclusion is thus: fuck rank ups, embrace extra options.

SPECIAL: Boreas's Caress - Klava's sashes have some degree of prehensility, capable of moving at her mental command so long as they are physically connected to her. The sashes can wrap around objects with a force equal to Klava's own grip, and can hold double her body weight, but cannot retract of its own volition after grasping an object, thus necessitating Klava's arms to do the pulling. Sashes can be cut by an E rank attack, and regenerate to full length in the following round.

Will finagle about with actual defenses later.

@ERode How long are the sashes? Are they strictly for holding Klava or can she also use them to restrain limbs and the like? Can she just activate the sashes at will or does she need to spend time commanding them to wrap around stuff? How many sashes can she command at one time?

@BrokenPromise Three meters each. They have grip strength equal to her own, so she can use them to, say, grab someone's arm and then pull on the sash to pull their arm. She wouldn't be able to restrain someone's limb from moving with just grip-hijinks though, and for tying someone up, she'd have to straight up tie them up like a normal person. Sashes move like limbs, but with much more of a floatier feel Probably good for simple movements (think how a whip moves, except it can also 'thrust' forward), but slower for complex snaking-shit. She can command two sashes at once.

I dunno fam, that kind of versatility more lends itself to a leitmotif than a style, which should be primarily defense orientated. I'd propose one of the following:

-The sashes have a more defensive focus, such as latching onto the environment to help Klava decelerate after a throw/fall or the like.

-It's a leitmotif, but it takes a full turn (six seconds) for a sash to recover after it's been cut/damaged, and she only has one.

I'll probably go with the former then. What do you think about not doing, idk, bind shit but still being able to use them for snapping up small items? Or is it a more game mechanic-y thing where your grappling hook can only latch onto specific (large environmental stuff) objects, and it just doesn't act if you aim it elsewhere?

@ERode If you're going to stick with only having one sash that more or less has the same limitations I gave the leitmotif, snagging small items is okay. I'd probably do away with the snake-like control too. Silver is kind of a weird place because it is suppose to be mostly trash situational buffs, and stuff like an extra arm is iffy territory.

@OwO Someone else wants to be a grab gamer eh? I like the way it's written up. It's a little stronger than Klava's sash, but it has more limitations and a bigger penalty if it gets attacked. You don't have to add this in, but I'd say grabbing stuff smaller than a human arm (trinkets, mostly) wouldn't be possible, just to keep it in the realm of Apollo's Tarzan swinging and pyro restraining way of life. Gunna let Erode look it over to see what he thinks.

@The WorldSo it's more or less a retractable chain/rope weapon attached to a knife? I don't see a problem with that, so long as we understand the chain doesn't have a mind of its own and Marrie can only control when it retracts/extends. I'll let Erode voice any concerns if he has them, but it has my okay.

@BrokenPromise You mean ‘snake-like’ as in it moves like a whip? And yeah, Silver’s definitely a weird place because situational/conditional rank ups are not trashy, they’re just situational. Anyways, I’m sticking with the Style.

@OwO The manacles are meant to target wrists/ankles? Or does it expand magically to wrap around anything that it’s fired against. In regards to ‘destroy similar chain’, are you saying here something about destroying a chain with E rank defense? Or C rank?

@The World Is the retracting instant?

Takes a few seconds I figured. Maybe a full six seconds to go the full 16.5 feet and less depending on how much is out?
