THE STORY SO FAR
Raven Squad is led by Skye Rosalind Lyons, and rotates the team with new operatives, ranging from lightweight infiltrators to heavy hitting juggernauts, with more than a bit of comedy ensuing. The team is an elite task force with multinational members and origins, and every member of the team is hardened and elite in what they do. Following a data recovery mission in Austria, and the follow up to chase down a high ranking officer in Artemis Group, a shadowy anarcho-militant group with nefarious aims. Since then, the team have relocated from Corsica to New Zealand, and a new rotation has joined.
The team embarked on a mission to assault a cargo ship stranded in the desert- and interrupt a high stakes arms deal in Aralsk, Kazakhstan. After stopping the deal, the team's drone was hacked and unceremoniously, Raven were hit hard- and fought off a counterattack, safely ensuring nuclear material was safely recovered.
In the aftermath and looking for revenge due to their drone hack, Raven attended a billionaire's ball in Singapore hosted by Vale Systems CEO, Pavel Andros- an associate of Artemis who was responsible for the hack. After interrogating him and hacking his systems, the team escaped a very James Bond-esque party in an elaborate fashion.
Following this, the team split into two- one to attack a drugs lab off the coast of Colombia, supporting the revenge for one of its members and to capture a possible Artemis Group leader, whilst the other team raided a observatory high in Chilean Patagonia, containing the controls for a possible satellite hacking superweapon. Both teams succeeded- albeit Skye Lyons discovering her doppelganger before extracting with the satellite core.
Upon return, the team has been interrupted by Skye's doppelganger once more- in fact, an original genetic copy of Skye, called Rose. She's jumping from body to body of Skye's original body using a neural uplink device, making her able to effectively die over and over again and "respawn" into a new body of identical genetic composition to Skye's, every time. After a tense standoff, the team have found the right Skye, and are fighting off a heavy invasion of Artemis Group soldiers who have followed Rose's lead to the base.
After a tight escape from Artemis forces, Skye has escaped dramatically from the team in addition after a stopover in Tokyo, taking a mystery route and leaving the rest of their team at the bottom of the barrel, licking their wounds with a new team leader, Adam Kajtanowicz in Finland- no Skye, Raven in shambles, Spectre recovered by Artemis and worse still, the fact that Artemis are planning something even worse. With new intelligence coming in that Rose's blood has been used to enfuse the drug the team found earlier with a high lethality into a neurotoxin compound, they're on deployment to Marrakesh, Morocco with a new infiltrator, medium operative and support from Blue Sword to find a scientist involved in the programme of spawning Skye, who may be invaluable to stopping Artemis and their terrifying plan.
On the other side of the world in Nagoya, Japan, Skye has found an old contact and called in a favour- using her identical appearance to Rose to break into a Vale Systems facility and with it, finding dozens of Rose's bodies- and an intelligence goldmine. After literally stealing a dead Rose out of a plastic bag and escaping the skyscraper, Skye has certainly left Artemis bruised, but Rose has fought back, and left a tragic outcome for Ban, Skye's old accomplice.
With Rose's body as a peace offering revealing the truth behind Skye's actions, the scientist secured and Rose's terrifying plan for Sol Hestia revealed. Rose's omnicidal, fanatical belief to kill a vast majority of humanity with an unstoppable, water-binding nerve agent based upon her previous torture and superiority complex needs to be prevented, before it's far too late. The team are racing to stop an all out end of the world event, involving a geoengineering scheme, a blimp and a repeater signal network that need to all be stopped. Divided into three, each team is on the hunt to stop each, and whilst the blimp team succeeded and have severed Rose's ability to die and respawn, her last version is out on the loose and set to go. The rig team are set to stop all out destruction from clouds of Sol Hestia, whilst the repeater has been downed, ensuring no signal transmission can take place.
There's one last play left by Artemis however- and the team are on their feet to stop all out destruction driven by Skye's counterpart...

Background
Raven Squad is a variant on an RP idea I've had for years, focussing on a military / spy-fi RP that takes influence from a range of sources. It's bombastic, over the top, ridiculous...and definitely an RP that lends itself to not being too serious while having a teeny bit of grounding. Trying to save the world isn't ever going to look totally realistic, right?
Taking influence from everything from an awful lot of video games and films- Titanfall to MGS, Rainbow Six to Arma and Bad Company among many others- with a sprinkle of a little insanity on top and a teeny bit of grounding to set up a near-future foe, this RP isn't exactly focussed on absolute tactical precision nor complete fantastical elements. It's hard to describe but if you're somewhere between The Expendables, MGS, Overwatch and Rainbow Six, it's roughly that with around the right amount of silly and serious and a dynamic team of elite misfits.
Raven Squad (RS) is a mysterious task force, working against the forces of global terrorist groups in the near future (an unspecified date 20 or 30 years from now) who often who are armed with quite advanced technology- or nefarious political aims. Al-Qaeda it isn't, so in come our operatives to deal with the anarchy. In a world where mechs are prototypes, exoskeletons, jump-packs, optical cloaking and various other technologies are around the corner, the tide of warfare is changing...and Raven is there to stop the worst happening.
Raven Squad have access to that technology, and six of the most elite operatives that made it through a gruelling process to counter the threat. With different specialists allowing the team to have everything from a scalpel-like precision to brute force with heavy firepower, they act as a counterbalance.
Where an SF team cannot penetrate a facility, Raven Squad come in. When you have ten foot mechs trying to breach a high-security Gulag and you need them removed, they come in. Raven Squad are the people that stop the world ending as we know it. Problem is, they're a little dysfunctional- and well, they're not all the most....professional of soldiers, or spies, or agents, or well, anyone who is capable of getting the job done.

Character Sheet:
Sometime in the near future, your character was Special Forces, Mercenary, a Spy, a gangster even, or ex-whatever. But they were picked, selected even for a very good reason. The world is left vague intentionally so you're welcome to dabble with your character's journey and lore up to the RP's start.
Anyway, your person. They were more than just a regular operator, soldier, asset, mercenary. They were far beyond that.
It means that your character more likely than not is a bit of an oddball as well.
Your character passed a test known as "The Devil's Cooker", a fiendish double-triathlon level test coupled to psychometric and advanced weapons testing, truly seperating the wheat from the chaff in seeing who is truly unbreakable and more importantly, capable under pressure. 90% fail, but your character made it through, and brings something very unique the to the table- they're at the least capable of working well under pressure. Failure would have led to a cocktail of drugs being used to wipe part of their memory, and that's reason enough. Did we mention maybe Raven isn't always the most ethical?
Consider that a high bar for your character's entry. If they made it that far, they joined the very insignificantly small number of individuals capable of having the most advanced technology and equipment known to the world's intelligence agencies at their disposal, and the responsibility of saving the world....rather too frequently.
In terms of tech, there's nothing outlandish but it definitely allows for some more innovative, more interesting tech to be on the table. As a spy-fi / near future setting, everything from exoskeleton support to jump packs, nanotechnology among others are on the cards- but it's not going to be completely down the road of Cyberpunk (not to begin with, at least...). Modern contemporary weaponry is mostly still used but with experimental weaponry, if it can be made to work and you can make it work with all its advantages and flaws, then go right ahead. The playbook isn't compeletely open, but there's a hell of a lot to make your operative their unique slice of the pie. Feel free to come up with original, or genuine ideas if you think it might work- nothing too fantastical, but if it fits the theme of the RP.

Background:
Not much is known about Raven Squad as an organisation- only that it has shadowy links to the previous "Team Scimitar", a prior semi-independent mercenary group that similarly fought against a range of terrorist threats and organisations.
Though since those days, plenty has evolved in terms of technology and equipment used- and the organisation appears to silently select those who it wants through a contact named "Oracle", who recruits operators on a selective basis. RS after all, is the boogeyman that spies, special forces and various government agencies can't even confirm exists. The operatives have a comfy life on base, but holidays don't come often when the world needs saving.
Based in a remote cove in the South Island of New Zealand, RS has access to a short runway, as well as a small complex in a boreal wood- housing a firing range, armoury, R&R facilities (including a pool, of all things!), training rooms and brefing facilities that allow it to be a home away from home- out of sight and visuals from prying eyes.
Our characters, outside of being involved in taking out the baddies, will get a chance to chill, relax and do whatever takes their fancy back at base, and it's a nice little quirk to show off your characters a bit more too at base.
While this RP doesn't take itself seriously, we're gonna need a little here to make sure we're all on the same page. We do this, we all get to have wacky, fun characters and go for a thrill ride. Post length is expected to be Casual to Advanced- no one or two line posts, please. This means at minimum two paragraphs in a post- three being optimum to really flesh out your character's response and furthering of the plot. I don't prescribe a top end limit, but use your imagination on how much you can write in a single segment- if it's longer, feel free to write longer!
Follow Wheaton's Law at all times. Don't be a dick- GM is God, and while this RP is very fast and loose, if you're asked to bring something into line, expect there might be good reason for it.
This RP will have adult themes, and romance is a part of that if you want it to be- however, nothing that the Gods of RPG wouldn't want on the public side when smut is concerned. If you want to go beyond, that shit goes off this RP into 1x1 if it is 18+ in any manner. Before that though, be my guest.

A sense of humour is not optional. Please be good-natured and good-humoured to one another in the OOC.
Minimum post of one per week, per person. If you can't post, please mention in the OOC or drop me a PM. If it's unexpected - i.e. family emergency, your internet goes out, etc - then just let me know when you come back, and I'll catch you up. These things happen. It is not my job to chase you to post! If you're interested enough to be here in the first place, then it's up to you to post. If you're 'too lazy' to keep up, then I'm too lazy to chase your arse to get you to do it. It's a matter of manners and etiquette.
All characters are part of the military unit mentioned in the blurb above. No bad guys, no mercs, no foreign characters. This is to make things easier and more straightforward, and to keep internal consistency.
Don't talk down to people. I don't care how much knowledge of real-world weapons and systems you might have, or how much of an encyclopedia on legs you are about such things. This is my world, and it works how I want it to. If you're trying to be a smartarse because you've found a 'loophole', then you're not playing in the spirit of things, and you should probably leave. That's even with an admittedly loose playbook.
If I don't know about it, then it doesn't exist. You may have this amazing secret plot worked out for your character - but if you don't tell me about it, then it ain't happening. Because I've already got a storyline worked out, and if it doesn't fit, then it's not going in. Same with technology and whatever you 'think' it should be like- I am open to ideas, but tell me if you think it's something that makes you say "That might be too far out there".
This is a near-future setting, and as such, isn't madly fantastical. Sure, mechs, exoskeletons and cloaking may be a thing, but there isn't interdimensional travel, let alone even interplanetary travel. No aliens, no anime, no high-school dramas either. There is no magic or supernatural content. Please respect the setting and keep it in mind- there's plenty of ridiculous and cool shit on offer, so play with that here- keep the other material to other RPs.
GM's word is final. I appreciate people wanting to help, but final approval for plot, lore, and characters comes from me. Though, by all means, please feel free to make suggestions and help others with ideas and information where possible, and point out if something isn't there or working when it should be, because that helps us all.
Here's how it works. The RP functions around approximately six characters (can be more or less!)- and focusses upon the team having different skills and specialities, as well as entirely different approaches to combat. While there's three main classes, within those their playstyle may be completely different- and may bring a very unique ability that is class-defying. Each character can also have a path to upgrades- after each operation, they are able to use new technologies, experimentally given out to help them get a further edge.
While I'm not someone to put into place strict rules, I'd prefer two of each in each class and a male and female in each class to really help the flavour of the RP gel (we can't have all infiltrators and snipers!), as well as a bit more variety in origins- but will happily accept anyone who has an interesting idea and can make it work, irrespective. This isn't all prescriptive- they're put in as ideas and to start of the process of what the team might look like. Classes can also meld a bit- Medium characters can sometimes aim to go for lighter loadouts, or Heavies may choose to go for close-quarters arrangements over heavier weaponry. If a slot is taken, please try and fill another one (or post below if you have an idea that you'd like to use!)
Stealthy types, sharpshooter types, all-round silent assassins, here ye be.
These characters are all relatively unarmored, unable to stand up to much in a firefight- often only coming to that as a necessity. But they have ludicrous amounts of mobility and are able to provide support and some assault help in different ways from different perspectives- they're snipers, infiltrators, hackers and parkour specialists- with these characters often being the masters of stealth thanks to their talent and optical cloaking. They're agile, often more than not to almost cat-like levels of speed, freedom of movement using various tech such as grappling hooks to wall-adhesive gloves, wingsuits and ropes- and are capable in CQC thanks to Krav Maga or other fighting styles. They're potent at working on their own, but as a part of a wider team, add an enhanced intelligence and support function.
Think Sam Fisher, or Black Widow, or something down that line.
They often work as good sabotage experts too, working in the shadows of the main team's work- and have the widest range of infiltration and exfiltration equipment, often the most exotic of the bunch. They're the lone wolves of the team, but they can make the enemy look twice before they get hit.
Five Common Talents: -Excellent at sneaking and stealth- with or without cloaking, they're ghosts, and incredibly efficient sneaky people -High levels of agility (Parkour) -Sabotage (Explosives, Mines) -Hacking -Sniping

Characters who are well armored, able to take a few rounds, but not like the "Heavy" characters- they are a comfortable in between. They form the assault element of fire- and they offer a lot of versatility through carrying a lightweight exoskeleton- using jump-packs to double jump, wall run and basically throw themselves up into positions that often none of the team could with that level of firepower, allowing them to hammer fire from pretty much any angle using slightly heavier weapons than a typical SOF operator would use- be that LMGs, automatic shotguns, MGLs and high-capacity SMGs. If they forego that, often they make up for it with a different unique ability that is firepower or defence-focussed. They're real jack of trades, and often bring a bit more to the fight, with significant room to specialise and deliver a unique talent that no class can really pin down. Put short, an Assault character isn't a bland choice- they literally will do everything, from the quieter work to the all-guns blazing firefights, but they're not the best at either spectrum. But add speed and firepower together and you get a package that can usually make any situation work.
The closest comparison one can think of are the "Pilots" from the Titanfall universe- a perfect blend of fast and hard-hitting in a hot firefight. They're nowhere near as agile as the lights, but offer a lot more momentum- allowing them to flank and provide fire from any angle. They also have special abilities of their own that neither class has- be that the deployment of a personal protective bubble, a personal drone, or anything else that pertains to the fact that they carry a bit more into the fight than a typical operator would.

Lots of firepower, brute force, big explosions. No less sophisticated than the rest of the team but just a lot louder, Heavies are for those who just want to blow shit up and get blown up.
These characters are giants. Literally, they're commonly over seven foot and immensely tall, strong, and able to basically punch through anything they want. People, walls, armour, anything. And that's without their heavy armour! In their super-heavy armor clad in head to toe with Trophy Systems to boot, are nigh on impossible to take out with most munitions- which means that more often than not, they're the centre of attention, the guy or girl turning up fire to the next level, and Raven Squad has TWO OF THEM. They're a Boss Battle for real, and you bet they enjoy that ego trip. Even up close, they're often absolute beasts in CQC without weaponry- often carrying melee weapons like an axe or a mace to club people they can't get with any of the plethora of weapons they carry. While a light might make that work through silently picking people off, a heavy will make those people shit themselves- one-on-ten, you probably can't win that fight unless you're very specially skilled and that is exactly how they work. After all, a heavy isn't often stupid if they've made it into Raven Squad- they're often far smarter than you think. The Mountain from Game of Thrones? Nah, this giant can do much, much more, they're Knights of the warzone.
Think almost the Juggernauts from MW2, or well, the Heavy from TF2, with a lot more armour and a lot more versatility.
They use heavy weaponry and carry even more support weaponry that puts them almost on the level with a mini-mech- from miniguns to automatic grenade launchers, flamethrowers to prototype electric or laser-based weaponry, or SMGs, heavy pistols, and all sorts of exotic secondary weapons that allows them to take on a wide variety of foes- specialising in AT on top of their usual anti-personel usage. For them, might is right- and bar much, they are incredibly difficult to counter. They're killable all right, but it takes a lot. They do suffer from the least versatility in infiltrations and their sheer size and operations weight means that they often need special methods of insertion. But do you think that they don't make a big deal about it? Not when they're the boss battles of the warzone.

Name: Freya Kanatariio
Age: 26
Apperance: Freya is a beautiful woman. One glance at her and you can easily tell she was blessed with the blood of angels, recieved from the breeding of two giants, no two Dragons in the mercenary industry. She stands just a few inches shy of 8 feet tall, just about 7 feet 8 inches, this being shorter then her father, and younger brother and nearly matches her mother, her bright auburn hair atop her head and her ice blue-green eyes that seem to pierce right through you. Her body is toned, incredibly so in fact as fitness and power and musculature are prized by her parents, but not to the extent of her brother's. She stands almost regal with her head of hair atop her head.
Often she can be found in breezy blouses and flowing pants, with short heeled boots when in a casual setting, face adorned with spectacles, often being pince-nez glasses for her slight far-sightedness. In a professional setting her three piece suits reign, pin-strip, or checked, often in a rich blue or sturdy grey, rarely high-heeled boots, when she wants to make even more of an impact, but often wearing flat boots, with a good tread, can never be too practical. Her work on her...toys though, in the workshop and in the lab takes her into sturdy labcoats and fire retardant outfits, often a specially designed track suit with cut, slash, stab and flame proof materials under that lab coat, hair pulled back into a tail to keep it out of the way. Can't be too safe when breaking the laws of nature.
Fitness - Freya was always the one in the family that pushed her limits, which means her physical fitness is greater than average a lot of the time. She can run longer and jump higher and just generally do a lot more than the average person. This is a trait that was heavily encouraged by her parents, both of them incredibly strong and fit themselves. Her mother a russian giant woman, strong and able, who captured the heart of a Norwegian/Mohican beast of a man topping nearly 8 feet himself. Both able to do feats of strength thought mythical. Her father even lifted a deuce and a half style heavy russian style truck, granted it was with the help of his armor but it's still a feat to be reckoned with. No surprise their three children took to it as well, some in their own ways. As Freya is a little more lanky and swift, retaining a certain femininity, but with all the evidence of someone who can rip doors out of their frames if they wished it.
Rigging - Freya was always tinkering, inventing and generally taking things apart. Which means she takes to engineering and rigging with a fervor only matched by her bright and inquisitive mind. This woman has a perchant for breaking the laws of nature and physics. Having taken ideas that until now organizations like DARPA and similar organizations have only scratched the surface of, and made it reality. Her armor being bleeding edge tech making her faster, harder hitting and more agile then her parents and siblings by a proverbial mile. The weapons she brings to the field are experimental but cause effects many scientific communities are still coming to grips with.
Physics - She graduated with a Ph.D in physics from Sapienze University Rome. Her knowledge of physics, from the basic to the highly complex, allow her to do many things like invent the armor she wears. This makes her potentially the highest level education in her family. Her brother having a bachelors degree, her sister a MBA, her Father several bachelors degrees and her mother, well she's a genius in her own right, but Freya didn't let anything hold her back and took on one of the hardest disciplines in science to get her PhD in.
Near eidetic Memory: A mind sharp and making sponges jealous. It's not the perfect recall of real eidetic memory, but the woman has pushed and worked hard to make it that she can remember facts and information long after she has learned it. This has come in handy both in the field when working with her siblings and parents, or in the lab, or out on patrol with members of her parents work force. A place on a map, a branch of imformation that suddenly becomes useful when at first some thought it'd be superfluous.
Calm and Collected: Despite everything some might think, Freya has a tendency to be very collected in dire straights. Taking things as they come, formulating a plan. And making sure things work out. The only people who can shatter this shell number four. And these are her family, her brother, sister and mother and father. The cacophony caused when her siblings are about can throw her into a tizzy easy. And her mother and father, well she loves them to bits and can become a really daddys girl in moments, and kowtow to her mother in seconds. As is only proper.
History: Freya was born into the Kanatariio family, the family of monsters and war, Her mother Natalie Denisova, later Kanatariio was a giant goddess of a woman, strong, confident, almost without peer. Freya's father, Victor Kanatariio, a mountain of muscle and determination, never able to give up or go backwards. She was the eldest of the three, which gave her the chance to both learn from her parents, her uncles. From her parents, she learned the art of war and combat, as well as tactics and strategy. From her uncles, she learned all about Private Mercenary Companies, the industry and all the intricate details that go along with them. It was like growing up among gods and demi-gods. Her Uncles, well technically not really her uncles. Carl and Nolan, were the first Military Juggernaut units in the world. A pair that spawned thousands of others across the world in later years when the effectiveness they showed gave rise to companies in Russia, The middle east, Europe and Canada. They all helped to shape and groom the young lady into a fiery woman.
That, combined with the fact she was enrolled in Sapienza to reach her highest academic potential meant that Freya was ready to join the fray at a very young age. Her parents weren't always sure it was wise, but they trusted her judgement and ability and sent her on her way. And it was a decision they would come to regret and praise in equal parts. She joined up in the Youth Corp of BlueSword Inc, the PMC her mother and father took over after their years of service. And her Uncles helped to run as well after being drummed out of the militaries they served in. She learned at the foot of their desks, Carl's line infantry back ground and Nolan's special services. His fathers large force and special operations back ground and his mothers brutal take no prisoners back ground. She learned alot.
Couple this with her work in experimentation and tinkering she became her own woman. Fast. Delving into the nature of energy and matter. Physics and cutting even bleeding edge weaponry and energy research. Taking the foundation of her parents and surrogate uncles, she made her own heavy armor, to help shape the next generation of super heavies.
Personality:
Freya is determination personified sometimes. Anything to get it done RIGHT! Measure 20 times and cut once so that it can't come back. Her on the mission persona is all about making sure what ever is in her way won't come back to haunt them later. She's known for her Scorched Earth policy. She will burn everything to the foundation, and salt the earth so the cartel or PMC or other BBEG can't come back and use it again.
Outside of that Freya is a quiet, calm and caring individual. She likes her morning and evening tea, will spend some time dipping a biscotti in it, reading a book or chatting with teammates. Her language is intersperced with old military terms and barracks lingo. She grew up around mercenaries. But having spent long enough to get a PhD her lexicon is very academic too. She can be prim, and proper, and even like the iconic lab rat gushing over some new scientific article.
An interesting dichotomy.
Tactical Suit: The Gjallarhorn Armor is Freya's own creation. It was the result of months of research and testing, using her knowledge of physics to push the limits of engineering. Her invention, an optical cloaking device, which she named the Third Hallow, enabled her to become nearly invisible when the armor was activated, a state she maintained with extreme concentration and focus. This, combined with the cutting edge armor and shielding, provides her a layer of protection that translates to survivability out in the battlefield. The armor rides that very edge of being science fact and science fiction. Reactive plates and Kevlar and ceramic matrices, make it cutting edge. But then these common modern elements ride beside shield emitters and directed energy deterrent lances. All at the same time allowing Freya to move with a pace that past heavy operators could only hope for.

Main Armament - An AEW-G48-Beta energy weapon. The primary aspect of this advanced rifle was an energy weapon with advanced targeting capabilities, enabling the user to target multiple objects at once and fire with precision accuracy and control. Th first iteration of the weapon was geared towards infantry combat and spat an ionified path of particles before sending a high power high energy tracer of charged energy down it, like a battle rifle firing a pocket of lightning. The Beta version though has three settings. The original setting stands, but two more have been added, one super charges the bolt, and is great for armored targets as when the bolt hits it super heats the target, and can cook anything inside it, and blow out it's electronics. The second new setting creates one of her surrogate aunties favorite moments. And Frey would admit she likes it too. A surge of lightning, that can slough through almost any armor plating. Makes one unholy mess.
Secondary Armament - A Starbreaker Hammer, a type of medieval club built for melee and combat. It's heavy and the solid iron head can be crushing even the strongest armor plates. Made from carbon reinforced steel on the handle and a heavy osmium-depleted uranium head. With an attachable cable to return to Freya's hand after she throws the darn thing. Many a wall or a vehicle has almost been cored after she tossed the thing over hand at it.
Tertiary Armament - The Suns Core, a plasma based new age answer to, "Do pyro weapons really work?" Gathering ambient material, and super heating it in a special mounted furnace, it's then spat out in a thick spray of material that burns hotter then napalm and white phosphorus, and stays hot far longer. Area denial with a lasting effect. Many a bad guy has found themselves doused with the stuff and never been rescued to tell their story.
Support Gear - Freya carries a selection of grenades to both distract and incapacitate enemies before she moves in for the kill.

- Her optical cloaking device, a prototype with few other copies in the world. This thing takes alot of energy to power, and her suit core can either power her weapons or power the cloaking device not both. Hacking Expert- In the increasing cyberized world, hacking has proved to be an essential skill for an agent to have. Having been taught how to hack most devices and being able to hack electronic devices either remotely or in person using his own gear.
History: Born the single child of a college professor and former AFEUR operator. Growing up, Mateo was always curious about his father's life in the military. But, he was always met with the same answer, no, and after a while, Mateo would stop asking. The only answer he would get other than no is that he does not want to talk about it and asked Mateo to never join the military. A request that Mateo took seriously as he loved his father and would grow close to his father. Who would teach Mateo how to fight both with a gun and with his fist.
Up to this point, Mateo's life had been good and uneventful despite the Colombian conflict reigniting some years earlier. This changed when he was sixteen for one night. Their home was unexpectedly invaded by a group of armed men who would shoot the family. Killing both of his parents but, Mateo would survive barely as the men thought that he was dead. Mateo would hear some of what the men said before passing out. One name was mentioned was Thiago Tejedor. The man who personally shot his parents.
The gunfire would alert his neighbors, and one of them would call the police, and they arrived on the scene soon after. They would find Mateo and his parent's bodies. Calling for an ambulance and Mateo would survive. As he was recovering in the hospital, and after telling the police what he heard the armed men say. It turned out that Thiago Tejedor is the wanted leader of the Tejedor Cartel. Who took control of the cartel after his brother was killed by a squad of Colombian AFEUR operators. The same squad that his father used to belong to.
After hearing about this and being sent to live with his grandparents. Mateo would try to get revenge on Thiago Tejedor. After graduating high school, Mateo would enroll at a local university in criminology, and he was noticed by the DNI. The main intelligence agency of Colombia and seeing this was a chance to better find Thiago. Mateo agreed to join the DNI and was trained as an agent. Learning CQC, firearms, surveillance, and more.
Being sent on several missions and after five years in the agency. Became one of the agency's best. However, Mateo would have had some suspicions about the agency in the past few years. Some inconsistencies he had noticed and some questionable missions he had heard about. He would start digging and would learn the truth when an unknown whistleblower would reveal that the DNI were corrupt and guilty of several crimes, such as working with several rebel groups.
Mateo would be surprised by how bad the crimes were and how they were able to keep it hidden from him for so long. Mentally kicking himself for not finding out sooner and would be disgusted by this. More so when he learned that they were hindering his progress of finding Thiago since he was a cartel that worked with them. Luckily Mateo was clear of any wrongdoings and would quit the DNI after the scandal. Now an ex-agent, Mateo what skills he had to support himself by being a free agent. While using what assets and connections he had to track down Tejedor, who at this point had left the country. It was during this point in Mateo's life that he had been approached by Raven Squad and would accept their offer to join them. While he would be committed to the group's goal. Mateo, in what free time he has, still is trying to find Tejedor and get his revenge.
Personality: Mateo can be described as friendly though at times distant and hard on himself for some failures he has done in his life. Mateo regardless of what thinks of him due to being a former spy. He has strong morals that he got from his father. Which at times has had some problems with his job in regards to torture as something he does not want to do but, if there are no options. He will do it but, will not enjoy it. Otherwise, he is one to help someone in need and despite his goal of finding his parents' killer. Mateo can find time to relax and enjoy life. After his time with the DNI, and despite the noble goal that the Raven Squad has. Mateo has become cautious about his new employers as he does not want to get duped by last time. So while he will do missions and talk with his fellow teammates, he will be watchful if Raven Squad turns out to be something else.
Tactical Suit:
Or adaptive camouflage armour. The ACR has two ways to camouflage its wearer. One by using optical cloaking to cloak the wearer or if the cloaking fails. It is able to change the camouflage patterns on the armor to fit with its surroundings. Along with having light armor to protect the wearer in case of the wearer gets exposed and shot at. Plus, capable of monitoring the wearer's vitals, embedded comms, night and thermal vision.

Skills: Parkour: Sam was a runner. She had a high metabolism coupled with ADHD. She had excess energy to burn most days. Her single mechanic father encouraged her to try anything that help wear her out so he could keep up with her. She took to anything that let her go faster craving speed. She was demon on a skateboard by the time she was 10. She added parkour running to her routine in her preteens. The rough streets of Los Angeles California were her playground. She had increased endurance, flexibility, and agility for her efforts.
High IQ: Sam was evaluated for learning disabilities when she was failing to meet social and emotional standards in kindergarten. She was quickly diagnosed as having Attention Deficit and Hyperactivity Disorder and a very high IQ. Sam had a photographic memory. She could read something once and remember it. She tested into the genius range. Unfortunately for her father, medication didn’t help her ADHD. Sam worked with a therapist to learn coping mechanisms to keep her focused. A side effect was she could easily fall into a hyper-focused state if she liked the subject matter. This gives her an edge when she is hacking. She can tune out all distractions as her world narrows to what she is working on. By the time Samantha was 22 she had degrees in Computer Science and Mechanical Engineering.
Hacking: Sam was introduced to computers at a very young age. Her high IQ attracted schools and companies hoping to take advantage of her brainpower. They wanted something from her of course. She would oblige them but never for free. She worked with tech startups to help them develop new software. She had learned coding online and was working on the dark web by the time she was a preteen. She can make a computer sing, draw a picture, and erase any signs she was there after signing the picture and posting it to Times Square. It was rare that she couldn’t get a computer to do what she wanted it to.
Sniping: Learning firearms was something that did not come naturally to Samantha. She has excellent hand and eye coordination. Hitting the target was never the problem. It is hard to learn a skill where you must sit still and be patient when all you want to do is move. Samantha is an excellent shot but does not have the patience to sit and wait for a target. She is great for short periods as a backup overwatch sniper.
Mechanical Engineering: Sam’s father owned his own autobody shop. She learned to be a grease monkey from her dad. She had loved learning how to fix cars from him. With her IQ, she learned quickly. She loved when her father got to customize a ride. She began to learn the fine art of customization. She liked the challenge of a puzzle and figuring out how to make it go faster and turn better. Samantha was fascinated with vehicles of all sorts. She learned how to work on all kinds of vehicles even military proprietary ones.She has a master's degree in mechanical engineering.
Vehicular Specialist: Sam had wicked fast reflexes. She also loved to go fast. To her you only drive or fly faster, higher, and harder. She first developed piloting skills as a child as she hacked into the military’s flight simulators and drone’s programs. She had her pilot’s license for a small plane at 14 years old. Her father wouldn’t sign off on her learning any sooner. She could fly a helicopter or a plane and drive anything with wheels. If you can fix it you can break it. She could figure out a way to sabotage any vehicle.
Close Combat Specialist: Sam grew up in a tough neighborhood. The public school system didn’t know what to do with her. She was pretty much kicked out of public school by the time she was in 3rd grade. Her mother had died when she two. Her single father owned an auto shop and worked long hours trying to put a roof over their heads. He struggled to parent his special needs child. Sam ended up attending an online school. To meet her PE requirements, he signed her up for martial arts classes. He traded lessons for car maintenance to the dojo’s owner to afford it. Sam learned Aikido, Judo, and Kali. She excelled in these skills and quickly became the dojo’s prize pupil. Sam could handle anything with a blade. Almost anything could be used as thrown weapon. She was wicked fast and fearless in combat when it was up close and personal. Men might be stronger, taller, and have a longer reach than her, but she knew exactly how to counter that. They had to be faster than she was. Not many were.
Linguistics: Samantha’s IQ, curiosity, and photographic memory meant learning new languages were easy for her. She was fluent in English, Spanish, Japanese, French, Arabic, Pashto, Turkish, Hebrew, Swahili, German, and Russian.
History: Sam was born in Los Angeles, California. Her parents were not dirt poor but living in LA was expensive. Her father owned his own automotive shop. He worked as a mechanic in the shop. He did repairs and customizations when he could get the work. Her mother died when she was two. Her mother had been a nurse. Sam was grateful for her photographic memory, or she would have no memory of her mother. Her family lived in a section of town riddled with gangs and violence because that is where they could afford to live. Sam’s father did his best to keep up with her. She was always in trouble growing up. She had an insatiable curiosity and the intelligence to explore it.
The public school system couldn’t keep up with her. She was failing to hit social emotional learning markers in kindergarten and was a disruptive influence in the classroom. She was unable to sit still and was constantly out of her chair and wandering the classroom. The school had her tested and she was diagnosed with Attention Deficit and Hyperactivity Disorder. They were almost sure she was a high functioning on the autism spectrum. She had such a high IQ they left that off. Medication to help her ADHD didn’t help. She had to work with e cognitive behavioral therapist to learn coping mechanisms that would allow her to focus. They discovered she could fall into a hyperfocus state where she would work on the problem that excited her till her task was completed. She would tune out the world around her and her focus would narrow to her computer, or the movement her body made. This made her especially gifted in learning martial arts and hacking.
She learned quickly and was far ahead of her fellow students. The public school system didn’t have the resources to build a program just for her. Fortunately for her, her IQ attracted private schools that were willing to provide scholarships. The winner was an experimental online school where she could take classes as fast as she wanted to go. Her online lessons only took her about 3 hours to complete each day. Which left her with a lot of free time. She spent a lot of time outside the shop learning to skateboard. She started running with her father when she was 8 years old. She slowly outpaced her father and liked to push herself physically. She fell in with a local parkour group and bounced off walls and flipped over rails happily in the urban jungle of Los Angeles.
There was a local martial arts dojo across from her father’s auto shop. The owner Mr. Takahashi and his wife agreed to trade lessons for their auto repair and maintenance. Mrs. Takahashi became a surrogate mother to Sam. Sam would find herself taking lessons from the couple and it was Kameko who taught her what it was to be a woman. Her father was grateful he didn’t have to tackle puberty alone. Kameko was a soothing influence on his wild child. Kameko was the one who managed to instill some form of discipline and manners into Samantha. Samantha came to the attention of the military establishment very young in life. She hacked the US military’s mainframe servers one day when she was ten. She was bored and wanted to learn to fly jet planes. She wanted something realistic the game version of flight simulators while fun, wouldn’t really teach her to fly a jet. She was still learning coding and was good enough to hack into NATO but not hide her tracks. She helped them fix the holes in the cybersecurity for an expunged record. Uncle Sam kept an eye on Sam and when she finished college, they recruited her.
Samantha was recruited by the CIA. She was a top white hat hacker and analyst. She was not satisfied with office work though. She applied for field work and threw herself into training. This is where she learned stealth and how to use disguises. This is where Sam learned about guns. Sam doesn’t do anything part way. She was deadly with a pistol. She was good with a long gun too but too impatient to be a truly skilled sniper. She was at her best up close and personal or behind a keyboard or steering wheel. Her ability to learn languages helped her in the field. She was a top tier operator in infiltration. Then her world imploded.
She was overseas on a mission when she learned that her father had been killed in a terrorist bombing on American soil. He was attending a baseball game with Mr. Takahashi. The two of them had become close friends through the years. She came home to deal with her father’s affairs. She was angry. She had spent the last four years of her life trying to prevent the very type of thing that had taken her last living relative from her. Sam personally hacked into the investigation records. She didn’t sleep or eat for almost 48 hours while she sought out the name of the group responsible for her father’s death. They were a new group of homegrown terrorists unhappy with the current politics in America. She tracked them back to a backwoods basecamp in the wilds of Tennessee. They were one of those American Militia groups who thought Uncle Sam was tramping on their personal rights.
Sam did what she could to disrupt their operations, but she was just one person. She knew she would need help to take them out. She learned that they were being protected by the company as an asset for chatter on illegal military grade weapons for sale. Samantha was furious that the agency she worked for would cover for a group that had killed their citizens. The deeper she dug the more corruption she found with ties to politicians and leaders in law enforcement agencies. Samantha quit the CIA and began looking for a new group to work with whose mission would align with her goals. It was at this point that the Raven Squad came to her attention. After extensive research into their background what little she could find, they hid their tracks well. She felt they would be a good partner for the corruption she had found. She trained hard to pass the Gantlet entrance test. It was the hardest test she had ever taken but she passed. She joined them.
Personality: Samantha was a wild child. She was an adrenaline junkie to her core. She would always want to go faster. She was driven and liked to push herself. She liked pushing boundaries to see how far she could go. She embraced life and jumped into experiences whole heartedly. She loved to laugh. She loved music. You would often find her head bobbing to some tune as she worked under the hood or on something on her workbench. She was just as likely to kiss you as she was to punch you when she was excited about something. She was unpredictable and you never knew what she was going to do next. Samantha believed in work hard play harder. Samantha would hold a grudge. Don’t get her on bad side because she would eventually get even when you least expect it.
Tactical Suit:
Samantha’s tactical suit was designed with her support role in mind. It has an integrated helmet that interfaces with any vehicle she is operating. The helmet has a HUD built into it with cameras that give her a 360-degree view of what is happening around her. Hidden in the cowl at the neck are the ports that link into the onboard oxygen system she uses when flying jets. The armor is made of a lightweight bulletproof material. The armor won’t stop a high caliber round but will stop small rifle and handgun fire like a bullet proof vest. The prototype material does the same job with more flexibility than standard bullet proof vests. Her helmet has a powerful onboard computer that allows her to interface with the navigation and weapons systems on the vehicles she is operating. There is a built-in knife bandolier across the abdomen region. A utility belt supports the holster for her handgun with multiple utility pouches for extra ammo, hacking gear, small first aid kit, and whatever else she felt like carrying that day. Her suit was designed to give her as much protection possible without hindering her ability to be fast and effective in the field. The suit would save her life but that didn’t mean getting shot wouldn’t hurt. If she did get shot, she would have bruised and maybe broken ribs depending on the caliber.
Weapons: Preferred Handgun: P365 Sig Sauer It is a nice dependable pistol with a more compact design that fits her smaller hands better. Preferred Long Gun: Her preferred long gun is a custom sniper rifle along the lines of the Dragnov. It is made of new lightweight materials that allow for a more compact design without sacrificing distance or accuracy. This makes it perfect for her use in more urban settings and for quick overwatch situations where she doesn’t have time to set up a sniper’s nest. The gun matches her ability and attitude. Preferred Rifle: Her preferred automatic rifle is the M4A1 Carbine. It was designed for close combat and be quickly modified in the field to switch to a shotgun configuration or grenade launcher. It can be switched from semi-automatic to automatic.
Knives: She has a set of custom-made fighting knives that fit into sheaths along her forearms. They are made to fit her arm and her Kali fighting style. She carries 8 slender almost spike like throwing knives. She has a longer combat knife that fits into a sheath on her boot. Set of collapsible asps: She carries two collapsible asps as a backup in case she looses her custom knives or doesn’t want to kill a foe.
Equipment: She has a tactical backpack that carries her hacking gear which includes a custom built rig with lightning fast speed, a 10 terabyte solid state drive, secure encrypted satellite uplink, dedicated graphics, and a case hardened against EMP. Additional gear includes a variety of cables that allow her to plug her laptop into various types of data ports from servers to cell phones to vehicles. If it can be hacked and mobile, its in her backpack. She carries two backup portable solid state drives with an additional 100 terabytes of space. She carries two pairs of extra ear buds, electrical tape, a variety of screwdrivers, wire strippers, and a multitool.
She has a small roll-up toolkit that can be hung from her tactical backpack. It has a set of adjustable wrenches, a rubber mallet, flexile head socket set, mechanics gloves, rags, flashlight, a collapsible funnel, a small portable torch, and small handheld drill.
Hobbies: When she is not off being badass, she likes to bake. It is something that allows her to be creative and her mind roam free. It doesn’t hurt that she can eat whatever she wants. Her metabolism is so fast she burns calories easily. Don’t be surprised when she shows up with cookies or a decorated cake. Being an adrenaline junkie, her idea of fun is skydiving, bungee jumping, base jumping, paragliding, hang gliding, flying ultralights, and skateboarding.

That is one hell of a CS, you clearly put a lot of work into this. Colour me quite impressed, post that in the Chars thread.
I think we have possibly three female lights (two in the works) so it is possible Skye is gonna task one to take up a medium role or an alternative role dependent on the situation, but nothing too far from what they'd typically have (just to make sure it's not all infiltrators on a mission!)
IC will be starting soon and it is a BIG post. But it scene sets, the two components are of it:
A) Setting the scene of the base and your character on R&R B) The start of a very intense mission, which will be something I have cooked up for quite a while. It starts slow and the lights will be on reconnaissance after the drop-off, followed by an assault from the mediums and heavies once the gears start turning. All won't be as it seems though, and while it burns slow to start, it will get interesting quick.
I'd suggest play to both- give an idea of your character and then have them join the party. Don't make your post as long mine if you're worried about length- it's pure exposition to set the scene!
First operation together but chances are some have knowledge of each other proper. They're a rotation in the team so have gotten to know each other too. Probably have spent time in the past training but still have a bit to go!
Asim stands a bit shorter than most other heavy troopers, barely reaching the height of 6’10 he makes up for it by being built like a steel wall even before the enhancements. A stern contrast to both his parents that barely make it to 5’ but make up for it with personalities that are vibrant and passionate. Although mostly clean shaven from head to toe he occasionally does sport jet black hair when it does get a little long. One would also notice significant scarring over his left arm and shoulder, both from combat and medical procedures.
Occasionally when you don’t find him in his black under suit that helps him keep cool with his massive bulk, one can find him lounging around in gym wear with his favorite yellow tank top that says “average joes” across it. When working in the lab he will always take the proper PPE in the form of some sort of lab coat or sealed air suit. He can be formal just not as much as some of his peers, likely switching between his military dress uniforms or a simple vest, button up shirt and slacks combo.
History: Asim was born healthy into a large loving family that cared deeply for their community and helped others. Asim spent many days throughout his childhood volunteering and helping those around him with his family, from the homeless to the elderly it didn’t matter. He has several siblings but the one he always found himself gravitating toward was his older brother, he was always sick in some way always needing to stay in the hospital for extended periods. Even before he was done in school he knew he wanted to be a doctor and initially signed up in the military after school to be a combat medic and then slowly drifting over to learning more about CBRN.
Through his willingness to help and drive to thrive, he found that it took little time for him to adapt to his new surroundings. He made it up the ranks of enlisted quickly learning and growing through his training both as a soldier and a medic. Growing close to his squad over the years really opened him up to be a carefree individual knowing when and where it was appropriate to be a bit relaxed and caring for others no matter the injury.
His last mission was heart breaking, they were tasked with extricating some local villagers that gave them a significant amount of local intelligence. His team were able to extract the villagers from the town but were ambushed on the way out. The situation quickly turned into a mass CAS with most of the friendly forces being killed or disabled before the QRF could get to them. Asim saved many others despite his own injuries until he passed out from blood loss.
When he came too he was in a hospital, his left eye was gone and they were not sure if he was going to be able to recover his ability to use his left arm. But a few suits told him of a deal he could either retire receive his medals and live out the rest of his life or get the opportunity to be a soldier again. He didn’t hesitate to sign up for the project.
That was 6 years ago and a lot has changed, the process involved genetic engineering and a lot of surgeries, cybernetic implants, and new cloned organs. The first year was just going through recovery and psychological processing to make sure it worked and didn’t turn him into a monster. He spent his time reading and researching, it was becoming increasingly easier to remember subjects he read about and understand the concepts they were talking about. Eventually he found himself working with some of the scientists with the serum they were giving him while he went through his recovery and became more and more acclimated to his new body and the things it could do.
After he recovered and entered back into active service, he has been with special operations units since then, he started a pharmaceutical company with his family that has been doing very well. With his incite and breakthrough in the medical world Asim was even able to solve his brother’s medical condition and many others. Although his name is not listed in the files or patents he still feeds information on the things he creates for medical use to their company. Making them one of the largest companies in a very short time. Priding themselves on making the lives of humanity easier and pushing out the average life span even further.
Personality - Asim is friendly and caring with an almost obsessive need to continually better himself and his craft. He will always have your back if you befriend him and is always up for a good fight. Having a crude and often dark sense of humor paired with his wit has led to some interesting jokes and stories. It is hard to get him in a low mood as he is always smiling and trying to help those around him.
Skills:
CBRN – Specializing in chemical, biological, radiological, and nuclear threats and how to deal with them. His secondary mission focus on any and all outings he is the team’s expert on how to quickly and safely deal with any of the related hazards or weapons, from neutralizing chemicals to defusing dirty bombs and working with civilians to evacuate or navigate the hazard. As well as identifying the most well-known hazardous materials and how to treat quickly and effectively those that become injured by the substance.
Can’t stop won’t stop – Asim is incredibly strong and because of his “stunted” height has a bit better mechanical leverage than his peers, he is not the fastest but has stamina and willpower to press on no matter what can push him through most any obstacle. Even In his full combat suit with no power he can still push through and keep moving where others would be stuck in place.
Biomechanical engineering – Being one of the foremost leaders in his field does grant him several benefits and lots of funding. Most of his peers are off base but he still has several people that both help him with the logistics of getting in and out of his suit and making new and ever more potent drugs and cybernetic implants. He himself is sporting several implants including things that aid his basic bodily functions and a cybernetic left eye. He has made several drugs and cybernetics for the civilian market that has saved a lot of people and increased their general wellbeing. He also uses this skill for his weapon modifications.
Mutant Juice – Asim has a super soldier serum coursing through his veins. He volunteered for the program 6 years ago and was one of 10 that survived without debilitating injuries. This mutant juice as he calls it because the name for it is long and complicated gives him even more enhanced strength and stamina than he already had. It also gave him several other things his cybernetic enhancements support this includes enhanced sight, toxin resistance, cellular regeneration giving him an increased healing factor, increased intelligence, and he doesn’t need to sleep anymore which he thinks is not a positive out of everything. Even with these enhancements and organ redundancies he is not superhuman. All these things do is require more upkeep and make him very hard to kill no matter what he is wearing. On top of this the number of calories he must consume to support his bulk combined with the near constant need for physical exercise means he doesn’t have a lot of free time.
Heavy munitions – Asim has been trained with nearly every type of heavy munition from ship mounted Gatling guns to rocket launchers and rail guns. Not only does this make him able to adapt to the given situation but it allowed him to customize his suit into what effectively makes it a land battleship in some respects. His suit is somewhere between a tactical suit and a small mech, giving him the ability to change out his load out to the given situation even salvaging and using weapons he finds in the field if he has too. this includes the ammunition types he uses as he is known for using mild hallucinogens' in his armament as he has been quoted saying before "Geneva conventions? more like Geneva suggestions."
Tactical Suit:
His Armored Weapons Platform is the result of massive amounts of financing and engineering. The first one off the line for super heavy combat suits. It’s powered by dual miniature reactors and customized to his specifics. Sporting several different weapons fired by both the user and onboard systems, the electronic warfare and sensor suite from the suite can see things the user never would and protect it from outside interference. Holding enough computer power for up to two Virtual Intelligence’s or one Artificial intelligence along with everything else.
The armor of this craft can shrug off, ricochet, and shatter rounds up to 20mm due to its unique make up and angling. inter laced shielding paired with exotic regenerative armor can weather most any storm. Inertia dampeners help shrug off the momentum of enemy projectiles and even the multiple layers of internal shielding and sealed pressure suits on the wearer provide ample safety to the user from all threats. This beast of a machine can survive and thrive in deep water pressures, complete vacuums, and radioactive wastelands. It’s not the fastest thing around but the added jump jets do aid in its maneuverability but only slightly.
Weapons:
Main gun – Hand Held – GE Vindicator IV Heavy Machine Gun, a rapid firing weapon designed for suppression and anti-infantry / light vehicles. The rounds from this weapon are coated in his signature mild hallucinogenic, the toxin breaks down easily after being exposed to the elements but if caught in the blood stream quickly produces vivid auditory and visual hallucinations for about an hour or two.
Left Shoulder Mounted - Aegis VI rocket pod, a bulky but effective shoulder mounted rocket launcher, mostly used for anti armor purposes can fire custom loadouts of rockets and missiles. Can use targeting information from squad members to find targets.
Right Shoulder Mounted – M50 Light Mortar, ammunition consist of basic fragmentation rounds, smoke grenade launcher of various colors, and tear gas canisters.
Melee – ZD-37 Can Opener – reactor assisted electric power fist with a cutting tool quickly makes short work of heavy fortifications and thick metal, very easily can crush or smash through objects.
Note – All of his projectiles are designed to break down easily and harmlessly over time back into the environment. Some larger rounds even have bio engendered seeds from the local vegetation to spread recovery efforts in war torn areas.
Equipment: - Asim’s Helmet has an advanced HUD that his VI uses to display relevant battlefield information and targeting assistance.
- Advanced Virtual Intelligence “Rose” assists him on and off the battlefield.
- Extra meal rations and Medical supplies in spare compartment.
- Sensor suite that scans the environment for any CBRN hazards and biological life signs.
- Communications relay that also has a forward facing camera so others can see what he is seeing.
- Holographic projector, the projector is used to strike fear in those effected by his hallucinogenic compound. once dispersed the projector produces an image that makes him look like a red eyed demon.
Hobbies: Working out and eating vast amounts. sewing, enjoys slowing down and helps him with his fine dexterity. lab work, some times when he's bored or out of inspiration he will make things for people or create ever more powerful alcoholic drinks. meditation, closest thing he can get to sleep.
Likes: -Drugs and Alcohol - most of the drugs he takes are hallucinogenic and help him relax and "dream" sort of, the alcohol is always fun especially in good company. -Warm food and warm people. -Keeping tabs on his family he still writes them letters. -Metal and rock music. -Any time spent outside. -Being helpful to others.
Dislikes: -Drugs and Alcohol, its a love hate relationship although he doesn't suffer negative impacts from them his body is very well adapted to getting rid of toxins and any drug or alcohol use is quickly out of his system. -people messing with his work -getting hungry -rude people -destruction of nature -needless suffering
