He nodded his head at the information being presented to him. Some of it made sense to him. However, he didn’t know why one would use a hot tub as a vessel for a time machine. Listening to the explanation for the machine, he didn’t notice that it had been turned on. “Oh, Scheiße (Oh Shit)” He exhaled, looking quite scared about what was going on.

He scanned the area with his eyes, wondering where they were or, better yet, what period they were in. Looking incredibly angry, he looked at the others, wondering if they somehow knew how to escape this jam. “Well, what the hell do we do now?” He asked the others after taking a few deep breaths.

Derek had begun to nod off after getting absolutely trounced by the wave-dashing terror. He still hadn't figured out how to beat Ava, and probably never would. Nevertheless as the gaggle began towards his most precious of additions to the frat house, he'd strip down to boxers and sandals, skinnyfat body on display. He was smiling like a million drachma by the time he made it out to his baby. He'd give Ava a whistle before addressing Helmut "Whatever it needs to!" he'd slide into the bubbling water next to Harper right before the flash.

"Or maybe not..." He'd look around the sun-blasted lands. He'd squint out, the tub out on flat ground giving them an okay view from the warm water. There was a small town not far away at the bank of a medium-sized river.

"Huh, not a bad pick, I'd have tried to mess around with the location dials though!" he'd say, pausing for a moment, licking his finger and holding it up to the windage "Think you got us about a hundred-fifty years back."

Harper groaned, "Helmut... I hope you were holding onto your boots because we've got some walking to do... I really hope I don't step on a rattlesnake!" she complained.

"One hundred and fifty years," she bounced on her toes, wringing her hands nervously, "What's that? Cowboy time? I'm practically naked as far as they're concerned! I need to steal a dress to try to blend in... and some shoes."

She looked at Derek, apparently hoping he, or someone else would take charge. It was possibly the alcohol; this was normally the kind of scenario where Harper would take over in the name of damage control.

He grumbled as he got out of the hot tub, dumping the water out of them before putting them on. “Scheiße (Fuck).” Muttering under his breath before standing up. “Are we going to bring the hot tub with us? How can we track where it is if we venture off?” He asked Harper and Derek. “I will need some new clothes to fit into this period.” Sighing and shoving his hands into his jacket pocket.

“How the hell are we going to get back home?” He then asked sounding quite angry about what was going on.
