ooo also, just had a thought, but Soylant Green hasn't had much time in the limelight lately. Maybe a moment for Soylant, Mayor, Otto and other setting prominent NPC's to shine and discuss the effects of the latest/next game events on Nocturnia as a whole? Could just be short and sweet for anyone interested~. A snippet for them to muse on items such as "Why is my goddamn factory on fire" and the like ^_^.

Might take some pressure off Est too in regard to the time lapses if those scenes become an integrated apart of that, sort of an open welcome to those interested to summarize their major actions through side NPC's or throw away characters in small and/or fun little scenes~. @Estylwen At your final decision of course.

Also Matthias sounds ready to go Doom mode on a whole lot of bidness haha. Looking forward the fire that'll follow~.

Yeses, I feel like that would work best as a scene right after the initial battle of the next day. Though, good news, Soylent Green does make a short apperance in the time-skip post. ^^

I'm fleshing out some Dark Aces today and working more on the time-skip. If im lucky, the time-skip will be up tomorrow. :>

I've decided! After the new IC post, I think I'm going to move all the NPCs to their own thread, make it more organized. Maybe work on adding key locations and technologies like Sugarcrush and gyft negators to the OOC post. Or maybe locations will go in the OOC first post, and technologies will go in another seperate thread.... 🤔

For NPCs, maybe they could be included in our own posts in the Char tab, since we all write our own NPCs? That way its easy to tell which NPCs are with who at a glance as well.

I have done both ways, and I'd prefer to keep any burden off players as much as possible. ^^ A perfect example of what I'm thinking is this roleplay, but i can add usernames so people know who's whos.

Do you think that would work? 🤔

I think there's merit in keeping everything contained to one thread as much as possible, but I also know things can get cluttered with that approach too. Ultimately I think whatever feels best to you is fine! But if you do go with a separate thread like how you have Arrowfell set up, then yes I think adding usernames next to factions or NPCs would be helpful!

Description: Cyril was found in the dungeons, or basement, of an opposing mafia that thought it would be a good idea to start uprooting and unraveling all these secrets behind the ‘Ig Notus’ name. Needless to say, this opposing mafia no longer exists. And Cyril was brought out of the darkness and into the light, little more than a husk of a man.

His story is, unfortunately, more common than one would think in Nocturnia. His gyft was extorted, and he was kept as a prize as well as ensuring he couldn’t threaten this gang. Being rescued from all of that, Cyril was incredibly grateful to the Dark Aces.

When he was told there was a job position available to him, Cyril had only one question, “I don’t scare you, right?” Of course not. And that was the truth, the Dark Aces were the one place where Cyril could be himself and express his talents and his desires to be the one in control. He can show a person anything, but he doesn’t prefer to show pleasant things. After all, it’s better to scare the one trying to hold a gun to your head than sit there quietly trying to be pleasant.

It’s true, one can never see Cyril’s eyes. He chalks it up to his vision often being in other places. And yes, he is a capo.

Description: Lucian was singled out when he was just a boy, having made headlines news about his unique gyft. Many gangs wanted him, however, it was the DarkAces that were the fairest to Lucian, giving him a choice and beating down the more rowdy competition, who hoped to simply snatch the boy away.

So, for steady pay, and the opportunity to spar against the likes of the rather infamous Alastor Dominique, Lucian became a Dark Ace. He quickly became a disciple, learning the fundamental rules and teachings within the Dark Aces, and the all-around philosophy, the origins as well, like how the Beggar Prince had a chance encounter with the Midnight man that changed his course and the course of al future Dark Aces forever.

He prides himself as a guard of sorts, able to go on the offense as well as set up a fairly good defense. They gave him the nickname ‘Knight’ based on how he looks when he fights, and he’s played into that, making more complex structures and shapes that give him a bit of bravado when he enters the scene. You won’t catch him with a sword, but the guns he makes work great. So really, he should be in some kind of cyberpunk category, he figures.

I think we will need open collab docs for Heavy Crossguard so flux and Herald can both attack, and an open collab doc for Lougham and Riverbend so Sporko, fux and ERode can freely add their moves.... Yeah I can make those and add them here. :)

I am expecting Lana and Savant to join in on the attacks? And Qia, I'm expecting an attack on White Pine, so it might be a good time to try that rescue mission. -w-
