Z tried hard not to cry out from the piercing pain his side before series of punches connected to his body knocking him to the ground before pressure is put on his chest. He opened his eyes to the blury fury on Alex's face as blood spewed from his lips, before coughing it up once his foot was taken off his chest. Once the wall came down Nyx finally felt the pain streak through her fists all the way up her arms. Once Alex came in to view she shoved her bloody hands behind her back and nodded silently, now her biggest worry being her hands than whatever had taken place behind the wall she had beaten.

"Your loss." Ryan put the pack away, and lit his cigarette. "I suppose so. Come on, it sounds like the fighting stopped." He began inhaling and exhaling smoke as he walked towards the training area, a bit curious to find out what exactly had occurred there.

Mason nodded, and followed Ryan down the hall. Mason, slightly ahead of Ryan, pushed open the door, revealing a very beat up Z, a very pissed off Alex, and Nyx, with a sad look in her eye.

Alex looked at Nyx for a second, then tried to look behind her back. "Nyx, I..." Then he realized what must have been happening, and hung his head. "I'm sorry Nyx, you hurt yourself trying to get to me didn't you? I lost control again."

"No no, I am okay, it's no big deal." She kept her stinging hands behind her back as she tried not to tear up from the pain. She jumped when the door opened, accidentally revealing her bloody and bruised hands and then hid them guiltily before hissing in pain as it touched the rough wool against her fresh wounds. Before Alex could say anything she waved but quickly put it back down. "Hi guys." She said sheepishly placing her hands behind her back.

"Holy shhitttt." Ryan glanced around as he saw the state of disarray the room was, and the beat up Z. "I see you beat the living crap outta Z." Seeing Z and noticing the girl's wounds, he wondered what the hell actually happened. "You guys need me to go get medical help, or is it something you can just walk off?"

Alex grabbed Nyx's hands as she tried to hide them from Ryan. Holding them firmly but gently, he told some of the water in the air to flow over them. As it did, he used the water to heal her hands. Once he was done, he wrapped his arms around her and held her close, not caring about making a scene in front of Ryan. "I'm sorry Nyx, I'm so sorry. I never ment for you to get caught up in any of this."

She whined as he grabbed her hands and hissed as the water oozed over her bleeding wounds. "Alex." She cried under her breath before the pain finally resolved and her hands looked normal yet felt sore. She was closed in to his arms with her face pressed against his chest, feeling it rumbled as he spoke. She wanted to tell him it was okay and he didn't have to be so sorry, but her face against his chest only made her begin to cry, releasing all of her anger in to tears. She already hated Z, and already hated being on earth but she had made a promise, she wouldn't leave Alex.

Forest cleared her throat and started to chase the girl who fled. Why were people so innocent and sheepish? Maybe if she talked to her she would find out.When she got to the girl she tried to stop her b putting a steady hand on her shoulder. "Hey! Why did you run? Nothing can be solved if all we do is run." She said as she continued to follow and try to slow down the girl.

Nessie didn't know why this made her angry, but it did. "I know that!" She said softly, without her stutter, and would have yelled had she thought that would have made her feel better "I know that, and yet it seems to be all I can do! I make a mess of everything! I can't even say I don't want to talk without offending someone! I just want to be able to talk without making a fool of myself, or offending someone, or making someone cry! I want to be able to be all I can, and yet I can't! I'm cursed with water and fire and I can't even use fire, because half of me is always there waiting to stop it"

As she spoke, fire formed in one hand without her noticing, water in the other "I c-c-c-can't d-do t-this anymore!" She clasped her hands together and steam rose. She fell to the floor, shaking and sobbing, "I c-c-can't p-p-pretend anymore!"

She dropped her head in her hands, shaking. "I j-just w-want to be n-n-n-normal"

James wasn't waking up it, His breathing was unsteady and his eyes were moving back and forth wildly under his eyelids. Hope knew something was wrong and continued to bark at him trying to wake him with no luck. Hope and James had lived for years never relying on anyone and now Hope knew that she needed the help of a person, so she took off down the hall looking for the girl who was always petting her. When she found Nessie she ran up to her and started barking in a very alarmed manner trying to get her attention.

Nessie looked up at the dog "h-h-h-hope" she wiped her face and sniffed, reaching out the pet the dog, unable to look at the girl she had just snapped at. "Where's j-j-James?" She thought the dog would always be by his side, and the fact that she wasn't alarmed Nessie

Hope barked loudly and skittered around, it was clear she was very stressed and James was nowhere to be seen. Hope ran down the hall and back to Nessie trying to get her to follow her. Hope whined loudly and her tail was between her legs. Hope's eyes were filled with terror as if she had seen something horrible.

Forest carefully watched the dog and the girl. "I'm sorry, do you need to be alone? Is that your dog?" She asked as she backed away just a little.

Nessie pushed herself up "n-n-no she's a f-friends d-dog. I ssssshould go. F-f-follow h-her..." She trailed off, starting to follow the dog, glancing back over her shoulder "ssss-sorry for b-b-blowing up" she turned back to
Hope.

"Show me, girl"

Hope had what she wanted and took off down the halls leading Nessie through the corridors to a hallway just past the dorm area. Hope charged down that Hallway and stopped over the lifeless form of James laying on the floor his arm reaching out towards the dorm where Nessie had slept last night, Hope whined wildly and barked at James who didn't move an inch. Hope licked his face and looked back up at Nessie and barked again.

Alex looked over at Ryan, then back at Z. "Get him some help please." Then without another word they were gone, vanished in a vortex of white flame. Back in his room, Alex froze the door and then spread the ice through the walls, just in caze Z wanted revenge. "Nyx..." he said quietly, letting his arms drop. He sat hard on the bed, looking down. Some welcome party, huh? I wish I had never left home, that this war hadn't turned families against one another. I wish I could give you everything you deserve."

Nessie froze, and then she knelt beside James, checking for a pulse, "j-j-j-j-j-j-James?" She shook his shoulder gently, her tone fearful. She pinched one of his cheeks, basically trying to get him to respond "puh-puh-puh-please wake" she shook him continuously, fear making her voice shake, her stutter worse

She stood while he sat, her eyes set on the top of his head while he stared at the floor. "Why do you think I deserve the world? I deserve as much as the peace to end this war? I am worthless, a fallen star that feeds off of the other dying." She let herself lean against the dresser while she too stared at the ground. "You feel as if you owe me the world, when you owe me nothing. I left you." She knew the last few words were ones better left unspoken but she couldn't watch him destroy himself over her perspectives.

Kai woke up after his nap and he could move again, he got up he couldn't use flicker.. he could only use enough fire to make a pretty effect, nothing special for now.
He got up, put his scarf on and went to look for Forest or someone.

Alex look up at her, shaking his head. "You deserve far more than I can give you. Just by being here you saved me from myself. Just like you saved me back then." He stood up, crossing over to her as he spoke. "You are always there to cheer me up, to hold me back, to keep me sane. Even if you fell, it could only have been to show the world your light." He put his arms around her and held her tight enough tofeel his heart beat. "I love you Nyx." He whispered, so quiet she would have missed it if he wasn't holding her.
