Pros: + Powerful mutant who can fly
+ Trained in hand to hand combat and is a strong combatant
+ Very polite and kind to anyone
+ Open about his homosexuality and is looked at as a hero by some of the young students at the academy as a role model as they’re gay as well.
Cons:- Cannot have any physical contact with someone as he has no real control over his powers.
- Has sometimes fallen into a case of double identity with Cody Robbins. Who was a cruel jock. Meaning Rogue becomes very rude and mean to people, believing in his own greatness. When he snaps out of it, Andrew has no knowledge about it.
Brief bio: Born as an only child Andrew was a natural in life. Both handsome and naturally athletic. Andrew grew up getting awards and honors in numerous sports. The biggest being football where he was a quarterback. Andrew had it all, loving parents, and a bright future.
As he grew up Andrew made like a good Southern boy and attended church. But as he grew older the trip made every Sunday became harder and harder. Andrew began to develop feelings he couldn’t explain, seeing his male teammates in tight uniforms, muscles… Andrew needed time to realize he was gay finally. Making church where the pastor talked about homosexuality as a sin, and his team would constantly make homophobic jokes and comments in the locker room. The worst offender being a young man named Cody Robbins. Who not only was both homophobic, but infinitely jealous of Andrew and his success.
When Andrew asked his school’s counselor for help about his homosexuality, word eventually got back to Cody. Who cornered Andrew about it after football practice. He promised he’d reveal Andrew’s secret, tormenting him about it. Finally all the pressure became too much. Andrew attacked Cody and in that moment Andrew’s powers manifested. Andrew wrapped his hands around Cody’s throat and choked him. Slowly Cody’s body lost its color, his eyes rolled into his head, and finally Andrew thought he was dead, all the strain on Andrew at that moment causing his hair to develop its unique tiff of white in its otherwise brown color.
Going on the run Andrew escaped his hometown with nothing much except a bag of clothes. He hitchhiked across the country, eventually realizing not only did he have the power to drain people taking their powers and memories. But Cody himself was a super powerful mutant who was using his powers to be a top football player. Eventually Xavier found him, and convinced him to join the X-Men. Finding out Cody has been in a coma since the incident, Andrew has been very careful about his powers. But keeping the same warm personality he had. Now a prominent member of the X-Men, Andrew been finding himself making eye contact with that really big but nice guy Fred….
Full name: Fred Dukes
Codename: Blob
From: Newark, New Jersey
Appearance:
Powers:
Girth: The first, not to mention most notable, feature about Blob is his sheer size and mass. Standing at 7’2 Fred weigh in at an amazing 1,650 pounds. It all came from his mutant abilities and started when he was young. Even though his so massive Fred can move at a decent speed.
Nothing Moves The Blob: Dukes’ main ability is the control of the gravity around him, meaning that he has the mental will to increase the gravity at a short radius that extends 5 feet at most. Due to this ability, even the strongest individuals within the Marvel Universe have difficulties moving Dukes. This on top of Fred’s weight makes him a hard person to move.
Strength: Able to lift up to 75 tons
Mass protection: Because of the thick strong nature of his skin, as well as his body containing so much fat. Projectiles at a certain power are rendered harmless if they hit him. His body can capture the projectile also and launch it back at half speed. He can also hold said thing inside of himself for a bit. Including one time a student of the academy who foolishly tried to fight him.
Pros: + Easily one of the most powerful mutants in the X-Men
+ Incredibly durable and able to take a beating
+ Very kind hearted and friendly
Cons: - Even though his mobile for such a large man, Blob is still the slowest member of the X-Men
- Even though his kind, Blob is somewhat ignorant
- His weight can be a sore point for him personally, making him very angry if people make fun of his weight
Brief bio: Born into a family of three Fred was a unique child all his own. He was overweight the moment he was born and never seemingly got better. His family was a group of fit and happy people, something that Fred didn’t fit into at all. While his parents tried to make him feel okay about his weight, he still knew they weren’t happy about it. Worst yet his brothers both teased him all the time, even having other kids in school make him of him.
Fred grew bigger and bigger as he aged, eventually getting the attention of his school’s football teams. Playing linebacker for a few years Fred eventually met one of his only friends in Mort. Mort was brought onto the team after kicking a rock almost countless yards into some guy’s car. The two got along because of their feelings about their homelife. Though Fred will always admit Mort had it way worse.
One night after Mort killed a guy at a party, Fred was set to try and find him before the cops could when Charles Xavier found him. By this time Fred had ballooned to incredible sizes, to the point where his own family feared for his life, and his brothers were scared he’d sit on them and kill them. Xavier helped Fred find Mort and convince him to join the both of them at the Academy and the X-Men.
The both of them have trained and finally earned their positions on the team. Fred himself getting a special room on the first floor of the academy due to his enormous weight. Still a close pair of friends with Mort, Fred has started to feel himself making eyes at fellow teammate Andrew Lee aka Rogue. Giving him conflicted feelings he hasn’t had before.
