So glad to be back in Vancouver, the heat was starting to get to me :'D It was super fun though, long school trips are so fun.

Yeah, stuff landing on birthdays sucks. But I always make sure I'm working on my birthdays now, as wierd as it sounds. The last time I booked a birthday off work, my mum told me I had to drive my sister to the hospital for some tests. My sister then told me the wrong hospital, on the opposite side of the county to the one she wanted. Then gave me the wrong directions. Then when we finally got back we went out for a meal, where my parents did nothing but talk about my sister and how fantastic and successful she is then (in my dad's case) death and it's inevitability.

Work is preferable :P

I can't remember the last time I wasn't completely cranky on my birthday, I don't like having attention on me for so many hours and not being able to have time to myself for a bit. Probably why I stay up so late all the time too, it's nice to have some quiet time to listen to music and type my posts
