Prince
Aeternus ll Nexus
Town SquareIt hurt... His head was absolutely pounding and his breaths were ragged, but he couldn't show weakness now. So he would keep smiling and greeting those he passed. Even when he wanted to scream and hold his head as he cowered in a corner. If he was going to help people to the best of his abilities, he'd have to put aside his wishes and be a strong supportive individual who those could count on.
As he wandered around the festival booths, he made sure to examine each one. One, he found a nice set of clothing for a decent price, and even found quite the classy outfit for himself. Deciding it was better walking around in just pants, a scarf and a hat, he spent the 5 gold for the outfit. He tucked his scarf under the jacket after he finished changing in the dressing room.
Checking himself out in the minor, he spun his body around and placed his hands on his hips as he shook them a little. A natural habit of his in real life, mostly a girl thing when shopping. Hey, when shopping for clothes like pants, it's best to test them out by wiggling your ass. Course he was a guy right now and the same rules might not apply, but he still found it a good test to check for comfort.
Finding the white and red outfit acceptable, he continued along his little adventure.
The first booth he found was selling lanterns. He was unsure of the purpose other than amusement, but spent the gold to get one lantern.
10 gold for a paper lantern... Seemed a little much considering this was gold but hey whatever. He may have waisted his money or he may of not. Besides, it was a homey thing to do and gave a nice warm fuzzy feeling.
The next booth was one of those shooting booths. But Prince was a swordsman, not a marksman so he merely asked what the prizes were before moving on. Perhaps he could ask someone who could shoot to try and get the prizes and see what they did but for now he'd move on.
The third one was the most amusing. A drawing booth for making random dates for people. Luckily this was free. The red haired man blinked slowly as he looked at the booth thoughtfully. Now sure he had urged with just about everyone, but he didn't honestly think people would want his company in that way. Who would like someone like him? Some girl in a guys body who played the part quite well?
Someone taller than most people? Someone who was damaged goods?
Mhmph, doubtful. In a way, he was jealous of Lilth and Sir Valentine. Their romance was just innocently blooming. It was always cute to see and perhaps he flirted because he secretly wanted something like that. Yet at the same time he didn't.. It scared him a little.
Shaking his head, he decided to play this off as another game in befriending people and took a number.
Number 666... Well shit his number is already unlucky. Today was apparently one of the unluckiest days ever. He laughed though and waved his hand to the booth attendant, who stared after him curiously as he left. Apparently he'd get messages once he was matched. More people still needed to enter apparently.
The final booth was a bit of a weird one. It was a old lady and she was raving about something odd, yet caught Prince's attention.
"I say there is a danger in the woods I tell you!!!! DAAAAANGER!!!!" The old woman yelled loudly, her gray hair frazzled a bit and her raggedy black robes flailing with her wrinkly hands.
Prince blinked, but smiled and held up his hands steadily.
"Now Now beautiful maiden. Pray tell could you tell me of this danger? Perhaps I could lend my assistance and take care of it so no worries trouble your wise mind." the red haired man reassured, his newly bought white gloves gently touching the odd woman's shoulders.
Clicking her chapped dry lips together, the elderly woman held out her right hand, her body leaning against a wooden cane she was holding to her left.
"Well sonny, that information is 2 gold." She answered dryly.
Pausing at the request, Prince opened his mouth to curiously question,
"I must apologize for any insult beautiful maiden, but why do you---" he started before yelping loudly as the cane smacked him on top of his head. His hands gripped his head and he whined softly as the his teal eye watched the elder wave her staff.
"Didn't your mother ever tell you not to question your elders?! 2 gold!" she demanded with a huff as she set her cane down a safe distance once more.
Heaving a heavy sigh, the red haired man took out his purse and gingerly dropped two gold pieces into her wrinkly grasp, hoping this was not a wasted effort. He let out a cat like yowl as his left fluffy year was roughly tugged down on to the old woman's level and whispered into.
Ow... Cats must have sensitive ears and tails... Or maybe the GM just has a cat people fetish.
