**Name:** Jayce “Iron-arm” Braddock **Age:** 22 **Gender:** Male **Personality:** Overall, Jayce is an extremely laid-back type of guy, preferring to take his time when approaching a situation, or just to avoid it all-together if he can help it. He's a pretty cool guy to hang around, and sometimes even manages to provide some decent advice to those who need it. **Magic:** Lacrima Loader Magic: Arm Type **Description:** Jayce can insert small lacrima crystals into his artificial arm, and doing so, his arm will take on and use the properties of the Lacrima's element. The only real limitation to this is that he can only carry so many, and so he carries around 20 of various kinds on his belt. Usually the lacrima only charge the arm for about a minute. _**Spells:**_ **Fire Lacrima Charge:** Charges his arm with fire, causing it to heat up exponentially. The metal becomes white hot, and it also starts to smell like burning rubber. **Aqua Lacrima Charge:** Charges his arm with water, causing liquid to flow freely from his fingers which is nearly useless in all actuality. But when used in combination... **Lightning Lacrima Charge:** Charges his arm with Electricity, which he can release at will while the effect is active. To release any electricity, his hand has to be open. **Explosive Lacrima Charge:** Allows him to fire an Explosive Lacrima Bullet from his hand. One shot for Lacrima. **Ice Lacrima Charge:** Charges his arm with Ice, causing the metal to become freezing cold. Unable to be used with Fire in rapid succession, otherwise it would make the metal brittle. **Wind Lacrima Charge:** Charges his arm with wind, causing strong gusts to swirl around his arm. The wind is very strong, but is limited only to the area around his forearm. Earth Lacrima Charge: Causes a rock layer to form around his arm, greatly increasing his impact level with it, with the offset of the thing getting a whole lot heavier. **Combination Charge:** Pretty much any of the above Lacrima can be used in combination, such as combining Fire and Aqua to create a steam vent from his palm, or an Explosive Ice Lacrima Bullet. **Piston Stretch:** Not really a magic of any kind, his arm's wrist can extend forward in a rapid motion like a piston to enhance the impact of his punches. He can unhinge the wrist of his arm to make his hand spin as well. Because spinning punches are cool. **Mage Rank:** B-Class **Biography:** Jayce was born to an entirely normal family, the likes of which had no special talents, no mages in the family tree, no nothing. The only thing the Braddock men had ever been known for was their devotion to their work, whatever their craft may be, regardless of their personality. Jayce was the same way, he devoted himself to everything he did, even if he hated it. From an early age, he had a fascination with machinery, especially magic vehicles, and as such tinkered and tinkered with whatever bits of scrap he could get his hands on; though admittedly that included things that weren't his. Over the years he simply got better and better at putting things together, so much so that he became the first member of his family to be considered a prodigy at anything. By the age of 16, he could build an entire magic buggy from scrap, take it apart, and put it back together again in under 6 hours. At the age of 17, to get the money he needed to continue his career as an engineer, he joined the Fioran Rune Knights. Things were going smoothly until his unit's first real dispatchment, the job was an odd one: Find out what happened to a town along the border that's entire population vanished. They found nothing, not even a single trace of a single person left in the town, and they left absolutely no stone unturned. No signs of a struggle, no blood, not even a dropped cup. It was as if all of the townsfolk simply...vanished. And then so did the Knights while they weren't looking. At first they just assumed they went AWOL, too scared to investigate, but soon even their commanding officer vanished without a trace. Being one of the last three left, Jayce decided that whatever was there, they couldn't handle it, and so rounded up his companions and readied to flee the town. However, what had taken the people didn't like it's prey just up and leaving. Before they made it more than one mile out of the town, something assaulted his two companions behind his back. And, without a single sound made, the two vanished as well, and it took Jayce a full minute to even realize that they simply weren't there anymore. After noticing he was alone, he ran. He ran as fast as he possibly could to escape from whatever was in the town, or rather what was after him. In his attempt to escape, he suddenly felt...lighter. Particularly on his right side. A glance to his right side informed him that his right arm was...gone. There was no trace of any sort of bite or cut, it was as if the entire thing simply ceased to be from the shoulder down, though the pain quickly shot through him as his body realized his arm was gone. Writhing in pain on the ground, he attempted to crawl in a last desperate attempt to get away from whatever that thing was, though the trail of blood from his arm gave him away all too easily. As he bled out in the brush of the local forest, he wondered if this was really how he was going to die, alone and without a trace of his body being left behind. In his 'supposed final moments', he saw something. Something not human. It was a beast with the body of a canine with jet black fur, with eyes as red as blood-soaked leather. The eyes had an almost...insect like look to them, no pupils or scilera visible at all. Fur-covered appendages extended all along it's upper torso, almost like extra sets of limbs that simply stood upright, as if poised to move. The final blow never came. At least to him. The beast turned immediately and lunged at something unseen, something horrifying that was now on the receiving end of pain. He couldn't see what it was, whatever it was, only the dog-like beast could see it, but he was never more happy to see a wild animal. The beast somehow treated his stub of an arm after the fight, and followed him back to the safety of Oshibana, where he resigned from the Knights after what he'd seen happen. Inspired by the strength of his new animal companion, Jayce vowed to become strong enough to defeat that invisible beast himself, and that he would need both his hands to do it. Constructing a new arm with the help of the animal, which he now called "Nori" (Turns out it was a girl. Once she connects her heart to the hearts of other people and animals, it allows her to communicate with them telepathically. She also gains emapthy, allowing her to feel people's emotions. She can also feel the emotions of animals and control them. Furthermore, her empathy is so strong, that she can connect with the hearts of plants, giving her a form of plant and ecological empathy, as well as the magical ability to manipulate plant life to her discretion. Magic Level: B History: Lilli is the daughter of a famously beautiful magician who had been widowed seven times over by her 17th birthday. Each husband's death occurred both under suspicious circumstances and left the already wealthy Ms. Bug and Lilli richer. Lilli is uncertain which of them is her biological father, but has found it a personal quest to figure it out. After her 18th birthday she left the security of her mother, and began to further develop her art of painting, even beginning a small business of painting portraits and the environment and selling them. Although she could have easily relied on the money of her mother, she wanted to make an income on her own accord. She soon ran into a man who promised her that he had knowledge of her real father if she agreed to help him. Since that meeting, she has been on a journey, to uncover the truth of her father and to do what is needed to be done. Personality: Extremely feminine in appearance and personality, Lilli is a mature and sensible young girl who is often seen making graceful expressions such as clasping his hands together. She is a diplomatic individual and a bit of a wallflower, but feeds off the positive energy of others and can become worrisome over their well-being. She is known for being very motherly and precocious. Lilli is demure and speaks in an airy tone, though it seems he won’t hesitate to snap at others when they are rude or inconsiderate. Name: Joshua Tamashii Age: 21 Magic: Requip: The Swordsman: A requip magic specializing in swords, Joshua is able to summon any blade he possesses from a pocket dimension to his person. He is skilled enough to do in the middle of battle. Should the blades be magical, Joshua is able to unleash their powers to help him deal with other magical foes, making his very adaptable. Joshua currently has five blades in his possession: the adamantine katana he carries on his person at all time, the ice wakazashi Nozen Fu, the fiery long sword Akuma-no-Kiba, the katana Mugen, capable of creating energy replicas of itself, and a plain long sword he keeps for unknown reasons. Magic Level: A History: Born in the far north, where magic is a rarity and most rely on strength of arm and the blade of a sword, Joshua was an oddity since the age of 5, when he was able to summon a real sword to his hand while fending for himself against a bully in his village who was also using a real sword. Much beyond this, Joshua is unwilling to reveal until he apparently went to the Far East for unknown reasons to learn swordsmanship, patience, and to master his magic there at the age of 13. He would spent the next seven years there training before heading for the land of Fiore, seeking to join a guild to do some good for the world. Personality: A loner by nature, Joshua prefers to do things on his own but is not against working with others. He is very secretive about his past, particularly his time in the north. He is a very blunt person, telling others what he thinks with little concern for how they'll feel afterwards, making him seem like a bit of a jerk. Underneath it all though, Joshua is a very caring individual who is just afraid to get close to others. He'll avoid talking about it at all costs. --- Name: Amelia Averyonna Age: 11 Magic: Necro Spirit: A holder magic, Amelia is able to form contracts with the souls of the dead and can summon them to fight for her. Amelia stores the spirits in an amulet she carries around. Her spirits are often brute force fighters but there are a few mages among them and they are all powerful enough to guard their 'mistress'. Her spirits include: Atticus the Spartan, Shin Xaio the Monk, Achilles the Hunter, Satoko the Shrine Guardian, Rika the Shrine Maiden, Ellis the Lightning mage, and her strongest spirit Phlegethon the Berserker. Of all her spirits, only Phlegethon takes a completely inhuman appearance, appearing to be a flaming skeleton (I will post pictures of each spirit when they are first summoned.) Elemental Spirit: Another Holder magic, Amelia summons elementals to fight by her side. The spirits are held in the crystals on her 'wings' and should any be defeated Amelia suffers damage as well, as she is literally linked to the elementals she summons. Arguably her more powerful magic, Amelia can summons elementals of Fire, Water, Earth, Wind, Light, and Darkness. She rarely displays this magic except in emergencies however, as she hates showing her wings to anyone. Magic Level: B History: The saying 'Twice blessed, twice cursed' can easily be applied to Amelia. Abandoned at a young age, Amelia grew up on the streets of Shirotsume, stealing and doing whatever she had to do in order to survive. However, Amelia was born with incredible magical power which quickly made her a target for several groups in the area who were looking for individuals with such potential. Amelia managed to avoid such groups for a little while before she was found and captured by the cruelest for the groups, who was looking into experimenting on individuals like her to make them better then the average mage through genetic experiments and occasional grafting of extra limbs. Essentially a group of made scientist working to create a 'super-mage' through any means necessary. Amelia was put through several tests and had a pair of wings grafted onto her back through her stay with this group. Amelia almost died throughout the courses of these experiments several times but always managed to survive by the slimmest of margins. After several years of these experiments, a group of mages raided the compound Amelia and the other children were being kept in on orders of the magic council. After the battle the children were separate from one another and taken to families who would take care of them. Amelia was given to the mage Ellis Averyonna, a young lightning mage who had helped in the raid and taken a shine to the girl. Ellis gave Amelia her name and taught the girl how to read, write, do math, and magic. She even helped Amelia discover the two magics she currently uses and helped the girl learn how to use them. Sadly Ellis would be killed while out on a mission a few months ago and Amelia has been wondering the land since then. Hearing about the guild known as Pheonix wing, she has made it her goal to join them and try and find her place in the world. Personality: A very reserved girl, Amelia has difficulty opening up to others. Despite this, once Amelia sets her mind to something, she will do whatever it takes to accomplish her goals, even if it means conquering her fears for only a little while. Despite her shyness, Amelia is capable of holding a conversation, though her views tend to be a bit more negative then one would think from one so young. She is a bit socially awkward as well, sometimes asking or saying things without thinking of how they might anger or embarrass others around her. Amelia is very scared to show her 'wings' to others. While many might seem them as beautiful, Amelia is scared that they will get her rejected by those around her and often keeps them hidden, unless she using her elemental spirit magic. Team Members: none Three Strengths: 1. Adaptable Magic: Amelia has a spirit that can cover almost any situation. 2. High tolerance for pain: Due to her past, Amelia can take a lot of pain without even flinching or being bothered 3. Spirit Medium: Amelia is able to talk with the spirits of the dead, allowing her to gather information that might otherwise be lost to others. Three Weaknesses: 1. Non-combatant: Amelia relies completely on her spirits to fight for her and completely incapable of defending herself 2. Aversion to bright lights: Amelia has spent most of her life in dark places. While she is getting better at handling sunlight, sudden bright flashes and blind her for long periods of time and cause her immense pain she can't stand. 3. Phonophobia: Amelia hates shouting, thunder, and loud noises in general and any such noise causes her to pretty much shut down or cower from it's source. Greatest Love: Drawing Motivation: Amelia's main motivation is one she's known all her life: Survival. She also hopes to find a place where she will belong for the rest of her life. **_Name:_** Monique Simon **Age:** 17 **_Magic:_** _Mirror Magic_ A magic that deals in the action of mirroring rather than mirrors themselves. This can allow the user to mirror the movements of others around them or to make others mirror their own movements. A less-advanced form and the first stage of Reflection Magic, which does deal with the use of mirrors to reflect attacks or create illusions. Mirror Magic itself, however, is more similar to organic link magic. More advanced users can perform Mirror Magic with multiple targets. Mirror links are generally established by contact with the target, however they can be created by manipulating the magical energy itself and touching the target that way for more range (though this method naturally takes more magic). _Reflection Magic_ Magic that deals with the use of mirrors themselves. The user has the capability of creating mirrors made of magic that can bounce back most forms of attack. As well, the use of multiple mirrors can create offensive capability or illusory capability. In Monique's case: she is only just learning the basics of Reflection Magic and presently lacks enough skill to use it in combat. She is only capable of creating small, weak mirrors incapable of reflecting attacks. **Magic Level:** C **_History:_** Monique Simon was born in the small village of Oasis near the southern edge of Web Valley. The youngest of three sisters, all three had an affinity for magic that both their parents lacked. Her eldest sister, Shantae, was seven years older than her. And the middle child, Savannah, had Monique beat by three years. The age gaps between the three allowed Monique's older sisters to be able to teach her magic in a superior fashion to the way they had to learn it. Though the magic they were learning was essentially dictated by Shantae as she was the first to start. By the time Monique was thirteen, all three girls had skill in varying degrees with Reflection Magic. Though Monique was considered the weakest as she seemed to find her plateau at making the mirrors required for the Reflection Magic while her sisters continued to grow in ability. What she lacked in magical capability, she made up for in other skills. Particularly her dance skills. Starting around the time she became a teenager, she shifted her focus from magic to dancing. Due to her quiet nature, she found the art of dance to be a good way to express herself. While her family supported her (her father was the only one begrudging about her decision but supported her regardless), there wasn't much for her in the small town. Oasis was a small town built to support mining in Web Valley, a venture that proved fruitless. The occupants of Oasis were mostly impoverished and relied on the weak rock mining business. When Monique was fifteen, however, something happened that changed her hometown forever. A rich man from Shirotsume Town stopped by Oasis on his way to a business meeting in the east. Though he viewed the town in general distaste, as most snobby rich types would, he did find an attraction to Shantae. He offered her a way out of her poor lifestyle but she refused, wanting nothing to do with a man as rude and vain as him. The man was displeased with being turned down, but he was persistent. His next offer was much more difficult. The man offered to use his fortune to revitalize Oasis and save everyone from eternal poverty. With an offer like that, the eldest sister couldn't refuse. The two were married and the man fulfilled his end of the bargain. However, his intention for Oasis and his new wife weren't as honest as perceived. As he now "owned" both Shantae and Oasis, he asserted himself as the mayor and levied heavy taxes on the villagers to get his money back. Needless to say, everyone was angry with him. However, as most rich men are, he was well guarded. Most notably he had hired two powerful Mages as his personal bodyguards. With Shantae essentially held prisoner while this man, Argoyle, bullied Oasis from the comfort of his mansion in Shirotsume, Savannah decided she had enough. Enlisting the help of Monique, the only other Mage in the town, the two travelled to Shirotsume to attempt to force the man to leave Oasis alone and return their older sister. The plan didn't go smoothly and both Savannah and Monique ended up captured and thrown in a dungeon. After being held for several weeks with the minimal amount of food and drink to live, Argoyle decided to broker a deal with the two sisters. He said that he would forgive them for their attempt at attacking him and would even consider returning Shantae and Oasis. For a humble price of one billion Jewel. To top off the deal, he told them that he would only let one of the two sisters leave and the other would be forced to stay as a servant for punishment. But he left them to decide which one got to leave. The discussion was brief. Savannah was far more stubborn than the soft-spoken Monique, and as such it was Savannah that stayed behind to allow Monique to return to her home. The three sisters were all close and spent most of their time together. Now on her own, Monique felt terrible. She went back to her poverty, only by herself this time. With both her mother and father working in the mines all the time, Monique truly felt lonely for the first time. At sixteen, she decided that what happened to her family and her town was partially her fault and that as the only Mage it was her responsibility to do something about the situation. She left Oasis and resumed her magic training alongside her journey. She travelled all the way to Shirotsume on her own and confronted Argoyle again. This time, she was ensuring he would keep his word if she could earn a billion Jewel. With a sinister smile, he confirmed that he would hold up his end of the bargain. Young and naïve to the world, Monique found great difficulty in making any profit. After being tricked and swindled several times, she finally managed to get a full-time job in Acalypha as an exotic dancer in a themed bar. Despite being rather young for the job. It was only a matter of time before someone discovered her true age and she was politely dismissed. With little cash and dwindling hope, Monique was starting to regret her bold decision. Soon after she turned seventeen, she got another job. Though it was far less enjoyable and far less profitable. She became a janitor at a casino. During one of her early morning shifts, when the casino was less occupied, a particularly rowdy customer had lost all his money to the slots and decided to take it out on the first janitor he saw. Before he could attack her, Monique used her Mirror Magic to stop him in his tracks, forcing him to mirror her exact movements. As security guards arrived to the ruckus, they found Monique headbutting the air at the exact same time the drunk customer headbutted a wall, knocking him out. After witnessing the magical display, one of the guards joked that she should take up a better job than custodial work, such as working oddjobs or joining a Mage Guild. Taking this as a much greater praise of her ability than it actually was, Monique quit her job and searched to find a Guild to join. She was turned down at several Guilds for various reasons. Some had rules that only allowed adults. Others found her skills to be useless. One didn't let her join because she was a girl and their Guild was strictly masculine. Nonetheless she continued, learning more about Guilds and Mages as she travelled. After learning about how much money some Mages are capable of earning, she became more motivated than ever to join a Mage Guild. And thus her journey has brought her to the town of Magnolia, to join Phoenix Wing. Though it is her seventh attempt at joining a guild, her hopes are high. **_Personality:_** For starters, Monique is incredibly quiet. Her normal voice is barely above a whisper. Despite her quietness, she is emotive and expressive enough that people can usually figure out what she is thinking or feeling just by looking at her. Being such a quiet girl combined with her small stature, Monique would be easy to not notice if it wasn't for her exotic style. Though she isn't exactly shy, her low-volume voice and self-doubting nature give the effect that she is. In reality, she is actually quite extroverted and enjoys the company of others and learning about new people and places. Adventurous, though not exactly ambitious. Her desire to see the world takes second stage to her self-imposed responsibilities. In general, Monique isn't particularly confident in her skills and as such isn't very brave in stressing situations. Despite the lack of bravery, the girl has enough determination to act without it. In other words: though she has weak knees, she doesn't have cold feet. Though she doesn't exactly have a strong sense of fear, she does have a strong sense of self-preservation and as such appears to be afraid of many things (though generally only things that she perceives as dangerous). Though Monique actually has some combat value, she generally refuses to acknowledge it and instead believes that she only has value as an entertainer. Even so, she does know how to use her magic and skills to fight, which makes her somewhat hypocritical on the subject of combat. **Team Members:** None yet. **Three Strengths:** 1. Contortionist flexibility and dancer coordination/balance. 2. Incredibly skilled in many forms of dancing. 3. Astonishing reflexes. **Three Weaknesses:** 1. Physically frail. 2. Very little muscle = very little strength. 3. Her typical clothing is depicted in the picture above, but notably she also will wear a brown parka and wrap a red scarf around her face when she is travelling or in extreme weather. As well, she keeps a decently sized red purse slung over her shoulder at all times (aside from situations that require her to set her purse down). **Additional Details:** Though her hairstyle adds some height to her presence, Monique is often unnoticed due to her small size and quietness. Though she does not find it so funny, it was almost like a running gag for her sisters. Though she knows her magic fairly well and is always practicing it where she can, her actual combat experience is minimal. She rarely sparred with her sisters and has only ever been in two fights, with mixed results. Though she has learned martial arts with help from her Mirror Magic, her absolute lack of strength makes that knowledge mostly unusable. **Supplementary List of Spells** _Mirror Magic: Follow Me_ - The most common and most effective magical technique in Monique's arsenal. After establishing a link through either physical contact or magic, the victim is marked with a glowing seal shaped like a cloud on their wrist. With this mark, they immediately lose control of their primary motor abilities and cannot move. Or rather: they cannot move themselves. Instead, they will perfectly mirror Monique's own movements. If she were to lift her left hand, they would lift their right. If she took a step to the left, they would take a step to the right. Though this seems to have little combat value, as Monique cannot strike a foe without being hit herself, there are several hidden tricks. Monique's body is vastly more flexible than normal humans and she can contort herself to cause her opponent incredible pain. As well, she can use the environment to her advantage. Despite having a somewhat weak magical presence, this spell is incredibly hard to break out of once linked. In general, it would require outside assistance to free a victim. Due to the small size and Monique's weak ability in Reflection Magic, the mirrors she makes are incapable of reflecting attacks or even holding up to them. When broken, the mirrors dissipate rather than shatter like glass. **Supplementary Combat Details** **_Martial Art Style:_** T'ai Chi Ch'uan A fluid martial art capable of both soft and hard strikes. The primary component of T'ai Chi Ch'uan comes from the fluidity and harmony of the body more so than directly attacking an opponent. Also good for simple exercise and strengthening one's soul. Monique's skill in the martial art is somewhat difficult to calculate. She knows the forms, the techniques, the strikes, the motions. She can perform that all perfectly. However, she lacks the applicable skill to use it in combat. Fighting thin air, she can be amazing. Handling any actual foe, or even a solid object for that matter, and all her skill seems to lose its effect. Name: Beatrix Valente Age: 20 Magic: Drill Magic A magic that allows the user to rapidly spin their body, or just individual parts such as limbs or digits. Drill Magic can allows the user to move quicker and even fly when used properly, as well as actually drilling through solid objects. The rapid spinning motion adds more power and speed behind attacks. Enough spin can even turn a simple attack deadly. Magic Level: B History: Beatrix Valente was born to Miguel and Janet Valente. Both Dark Mages of the guild White Hydra. Along with the title of Dark Mage, Beatrix inherited her father's Drill Magic and strength. While she was being raised and trained to be a Dark Mage, she was being raised in the guild alongside a young Maddox Colburn. The two were born several days apart and the only two children in the guild, so it was inevitable they eventually befriended each other. Only this was after Maddox was initiated as a Dark Mage, as she didn't care for him while he was still a slave child. While Maddox only pretended to enjoy his future career, Beatrix actually did want to become a Dark Mage like her parents. Due to their similar age and their friendship, they often worked together as kids when out on illegal jobs. At ten years old, Janet Valente was ambushed by the Magic Council and was accidentally killed when she resisted. This left Beatrix with only her father as family, though she viewed the other members of White Hydra as family. As she was a few days younger than Maddox, Beatrix was more or less considered the baby of the guild, so it was clear that the others were close with her as well. Her general life of crime and sin came to a screeching halt when she was eighteen. While out performing an assassination job with two other guild members, Maddox destroyed the entire White Hydra guild and all those inside it. Including her father. When the small team returned to find the guild hall destroyed and all the dead bodies in the ocean, they were totally shocked and blindsided. It took some time to discover the culprit was Maddox, as he was the only one unaccounted for among the dead. While the other two surviving White Hydra members decided to call it quits, having no friends or guild to turn to anymore, Beatrix decided to stay as a Dark Mage by herself and avenge her father's death. The years after this have been spent trying to find Maddox Colburn. Of course, a life of lawlessness has led the Dark Mage to live like an outlaw. Constantly stealing things she needs to survive and simply breaking into homes to find places to sleep. Her journey to find Maddox was mostly dead ends and useless information, but several months ago she happened upon an old copy of the Weekly Sorcerer, which featured Maddox inside it. Discovering that he belonged to the famous guild Phoenix Wing, Beatrix crumpled the magazine and made her way to Magnolia. Personality: Full of energy and brash, even somewhat vain. And of course: highly aggressive. These are all ways to describe Beatrix. Her generally volatile behavior is perfectly accompanied by the fact she has a constant desire to break rules and laws. She is prone to do as such on mere whims, ranging from simple boredom to having one of her angry fits. While she is headstrong and not much of a thinker, she does have common sense and the capability to think before acting. This is just a rare occurrence, not a totally impossible feat. She has a soft spot for sour candies and cute animals, but not much else. Though generally despicable in her acts, she does have a strong sense of family and friendship. It's just that she has so far had family and friends of immoral aptitude, and she has thus followed suit. General anarchy is her favorite environment and she will often make the effort to change the environment around her to fit that quota. Team Members: None. Not like any would really want to join forces with Beatrix anyways. Three Strengths: 1. If Beatrix has one thing going for her, it's her raw physical power. She hits like a truck. 2. She almost always wears tall, black boots with black laces and her signature greaves. She has a black guild mark on the right side of her right thigh, about midway up. While travelling or outdoors in general, she often conceals herself in a purple hooded cloak to help evade unwanted recognition. Additional Details: Beatrix Valente has a standing bounty of 200,000 Jewel in just one of the towns she has a bounty in, given to her by the mayor of Regala, the town that White Hydra used to bully the most before its destruction. She is wanted in several cities and towns across Fiore for infractions ranging from petty theft to aggravated assault to vandalism and even destruction of property. Regala is the only town she has charges for murder in. The Magic Council is yet to post its own warrant for her arrest. And of course: theme song. Supplementary List of Spells Note: All foes hit with any of her spinning attacks will also be spun themselves. The sheer power behind each blow makes blocking a difficult and painful task, but successful blocks or simply being strong enough allows a victim to resist the spinning effect. Drill Magic: Breaker Fist - A powerful haymaker punch with the influence of her magic. Her arm spins rapidly as she makes the punch, adding to the pure power and speed behind it. Enough power, in fact, to break steel. Drill Magic: Swiveling Blast - Similar to the above spell, only performed with a wide kick rather than a punch. Even more powerful than her Breaker Fist with slightly more reach, but also somewhat slower to perform. Drill Magic: Spinning Propulsion - By rapidly spinning her lower body, Beatrix propels herself through the air. This allows her to move even faster than running and she can even fly like this. It must be noted that she cannot hover like this, as she always has forward momentum. This can be used to add even more force behind her attacks as well as for maneuvering around her environment. She can make her entire body spin to go even faster, though this limits her attacks to only charging directly at a foe to cause damage. Drill Magic: Air Burst - Beatrix rapidly spins her arms after putting her hands together directly in front of herself, facing an enemy. After spinning her arms for a moment, gathering the air around her and spinning that along with her arms, she shoots the spinning, compressed air at her foe by splitting her arms apart. Her only form of ranged attack, and it retains the same power as any of her regular strikes. However, due to being a different composition, it has different ways to get around it. Moves at high speed and is actually quite wide. Drill Magic: Burrowing Mole - By rapidly spinning either her lower body or both arms above her head, Beatrix can actually function like a drill and easily carve a path through the ground. Her drilling capability allows her to easily go through stone, and go through steel with difficulty. Hitting an opponent while using this spell has a different effect compared to the other ones. While her other attacks inflict blunt force trauma, this attack is actually "sharp" and will not only cut opponents but can completely impale them. Supplementary Combat Details Martial Art Style: Beatrix doesn't use a named art as he form of melee combat. Rather, she uses her own self-developed style that is reminiscent of Western Boxing, placing an emphasis of a combination of light and quick strikes to open up an opponent to a heavy, hard-hitting blow. While her most common form of striking comes from her fists, her most powerful strikes are from her legs. Her leg power makes her sweeps highly effective when she uses them. While her martial art is unnamed and self-taught, it has been proven to be of a comparable status to the more traditional fighting styles. Aside from the basic striking plan mentioned before, Beatrix's body actually has a lot of motion in her fighting stance. This allows her to bob and weave around attacks with greater ease, allowing follow-up strikes and counters. When it comes to defense, her preference is to dodge rather than to block. But she keeps her arms in and will block attacks that are aimed toward her face/head and attacks aimed toward her center of mass (with her legs more so than her arms). The general rule of her combat style: quick upper-body movements and strikes, strong lower body blocks and strikes. Due to her natural strength, and especially when amplified by her Drill Magic, even her light jabs have respectable power. Much how her style is unnamed, she has no named techniques to attribute to her martial art. Supplementary Records Criminal Record: Her rap sheet has no shortage of marks. Cities and towns all over Fiore have her name on file for various crimes committed in their territories by Beatrix. The most common crimes being theft, aggravated assault, and vandalism, though she has committed far more than just those. It should be noted that she does have several murder charges related to assassination jobs of the past, though those are few and far between. Different cities have different bounties for her capture, with the highest being 200,000 Jewel in the town of Regala, and a cumulative bounty of 376,000 Jewel. Despite her "impressive" records, no actions have been taken against her by the Magic Council. The Weekly Sorcerer: Beatrix was featured in a brief article on up-and-coming Dark Mages that are potential threats to how magic is perceived but also don't belong to a guild. Name: Rutger Artz Age: 18 Magic: Flame God Slayer Magic Level: B History: Born and raised on a snowy mountain in a small, nearly isolated village, Rutger and his father were herders responsible for providing a great deal of meat, cheese, and wool to keep the villagers supplied during the harsh winters. As such they had more wealth than many in the small settlement; not nearly enough to be considered rich, but enough to afford a few more small luxuries--such as books. Rutger adored books, and whenever the odd peddlar braved the dangers of the mountain and brought their wares to the village square, Rutger would beg his father for enough money to buy every book he could. His parents easily relented; after all, knowledge was power. Little did they know the power their son would gain. One day, the peddlar brought a pile of books they had collected from all corners of Fiore, and Rutger bought them all. Among them was a book with a strange cover, blackened and dusty with the appearance and texture of charcoal. Rutger originally found, when he opened this book, that it was written in such an old dialect as to be neary indecipherable, a throwback to the days when Fiore was instead known by another name: Ishgal. He struggled to translate it so that he could read it, using other books as resources, but even then the contents simply seemed to squirm before his eyes. During a particularly cold storm, Rutger read next to the fireplace, as he usually did. Once again he was trying to decipher the book. He cried out in sudden despair when an ember popped from the fire and landed on one of the pages...but the book did not burn. Instead, the letters within began to glow, and a warmth spread through Rutger as he watched in fascination. He felt something within him being pulled out, and the book reacted to it. From this reaction, the letters shifted, and became readable. Though Rutger did not know it, it was not only the flame that had changed the book. Within him, as within roughly 20% of Fiore's population, was the potential for magic, and the book had reacted to it, choosing him as its new owner. He became obsessed with the book, poring over its contents day after day. He began to practice the magic in secret, his curiosity overcoming the risks and the possibility of being ridiculed by his family or the other villagers. It was here, however, that he learned just why magic was so feared. Black flames threatened to consume the village, and Rutger could not stop them. The only fortune to be had that day was when the heat melted part of the snow on the mountainside and caused an avalanche that managed to put out the flames, though many villagers were trapped in their homes until they could be dug free. Because of Rutger's magic, he had almost destroyed everything and everyone he had ever loved. The villagers began to treat him with fear and disdain, and his family decided it would be for the best to send him away. Rutger left the snowy village in the dead of night, keeping himself warm with his power, a blessing and a curse. Knowing he had to find someone to help him control his abilities, he headed for the Mage Guilds... Personality: Deeply unsettled by the events of his life, Rutger is often gloomy, but when his heart finally begins to open up, traces of an imaginative, curious, and energetic youth can be seen.   • Fount of Knowledge - Rutger is widely read in a variety of subjects, and thus knows a great deal about many things.
  • Steel Trap Memory - Rutger doesn't have a photographic memory, but it's a good one nonetheless, especially if it's something he's read.

  • Passiveness - Rutger isn't often one to take initiative on his own, and he's stopped taking as many risks. He often tries to think of excuses to justify this to himself, and in the process is his own worst critique, creating mental blockages that can keep him from doing what's necessary out of fear of failure.

Rutger stands at 5 feet 10 inches and weighs around a hundred and seventy pounds, with a bit of tone from working with animals and living in a harsh environment, but not so much like a weight lifter. He has dark red, almost auburn hair that spikes sort of to the right, with a cowlick on the left and slightly back. His eyes are golden amber, and he wears a long sleeved black wool shirt under a thick blue, denim-like jacket with the sleeves rolled up to his elbows, and heavy brown leather gloves lined with white wool. His pants are dark gray in color and his boots are made in the same style as his gloves. A black leather belt with a silver, square buckle holds two leather pouches, one on the side of his left hip and the other on the back of his waist. The last item of clothing he wears is a bright red woolen scarf sewn with double layers for extra warmth; this particular item was a gift from his mother before he left, and he tends to wear it all the time to remind himself of his family even if he changes the rest of his outfit. Unlike the lizardmen created before him, Grane can actually retaining the knowledge of the magic that was copied. The only exception is that he can only wield three kinds of magic at the same time, but he can adjust the power of the three magics by regulating how much power each one should have or if it all the power should be focused on just one magic.


Basic Information:
It started as a simple request from the Magic Council who gave Daphne a specific deal. The Council would pardon her of her past actions only if she agrees with the terms to create a being as strong as a dragon with the same magic ability to copy a specific wizard’s magic just like her lizardmen, but retain its use for future use since it could provide as a great tool after the aftermath of when most wizards and magic disappeared. Along with the agreement, the lizardman/dragon would still be as tough as an actual dragon and have an incredibly long life span. In addition, it should have a higher intelligence than most living things to help adapt, advance, and learn in different situations so that it doesn’t run into some regrettable mistake. And as a precaution, Daphne would need to be monitored anytime she was working on her experiment.

It took Daphne a little over a decade to finally create what she decided was a lizardman and dragon hybrid, Grane Falo. She followed the agreement as followed and was pardon with the success that Grane could bring. What believed to be a simple tool became more than expected and did show very noticeable sentient life inside him. It was the first three years of his birth that showed his exceptionally high aptitude and knowledge of the world from every book, article, and events from past to present that he read about from the Council’s Library and the Magic Library. Shortly after, he had begun watching different wizards perform their own magics and from simply watching their performance he was able to copy the magic being used. Years later, instead of watching simple performances, Grane was finally able to watch actual wizards use their magic for many uses and purposes from a great distance to eventually mirror to almost surpass the original wielder.

Personality:
Over time, most members of the Magic Council would compare Grane’s personality and beliefs to Gran Doma, a previous chairman of the Magic Council. He is evidently stern, serious and does not tolerate anyone breaking the law. Thus, he tends to keep his mentality strictly to the book while working to find justice in the law. But when he isn’t really working, his nature becomes more relax than serious, but still serious enough that it would be bad to disturb his day of relaxation.

Three Strengths:
1. Knowledge and use of over one hundred spells and growing.
2. His body almost strong as a dragon.
3. Years of training from the Magic Council.

Three Weaknesses:
1. His limit of only wielding three different kinds of magic at the same time.

There are no physical differences between Zenoram and Zero. Despite how they look, they are fairly toned and athletic. Under their clothes they house a considerably tough body. Their muscles have been trained and toned throughout their time with Hemlock. They are considerably durable and a bit heavier than one might expect. They stand at about 5'8" and weigh about 140 lbs. They can typically be seen wearing an outfit comprised of [a white button down shirt with a blue green tie, black pants, and black shoes. How the clothes are worn can also help tell who is in control, if the attitude change alone doesn’t give it away. If the tie is loose and the sleeves are rolled up it’s generally/always Zero because he doesn’t like the neat look Zenoram has going on. They can also be seen typically wearing their black, dragon scale jacket. When Zenoram is in control his hair is well kept and fairly neat while Zero wears it in a much more unkempt fashion. His guild stamp is the typical shade of purple and located on his back, just under the left shoulder around the shoulder blade area.

Poisons of the Poison dragon may be deadly, paralytic, or simply corrosive, all at the user’s discretion. Aside from immunity to toxins and poisons, like any other dragon slayer the user may consume various types of poison in order to replenish themselves and their magic.
=> Dragon Force - Although he never has, if Zero were to enter Dragon Force his hair would turn a dark shade of purple with light, violet scales appearing along and around his eyes and cheeks. His hands and feet will become more like those of a dragon with reddish purple claws and scales running up to his elbows and knees respectively. He would also gain dragon-like eyes and more elongated, and sharper, canines.

History: The following is the story of how Zenoram and Zero came to be who they are today.


Personality: While each personality has its share of similarities, such as a need to defend and protect the beings they care for, they are for the most part vastly different.
Zenoram
Zenoram is kind, forgiving and trusting to a fault. He is loving and innocent and wishes to protect life. He looks for the best in people, even if there isn’t much good in them to begin with. Above all he is not a fighter. He wishes to protect, but he does not have the mindset to bring harm to others. He believes it is better to be hurt than hurt others. He is loyal. He cares. He truly does.
Zero
Zero while sharing loyalty, and a certain kindness towards those he actually does care for, is Zenoram’s polar opposite. He quite enjoys dealing pain on to others and is not afraid to even kill if it means protecting what he wishes to protect. He is distrusting, cautious towards just about everyone, and is even one to hold a grudge. Put simply, he is an asshole. But only if he doesn’t see you as important to him or Zenoram.

Three Strengths:
Zenoram
  • Zenoram can generally get along with just about anyone fairly easily.
  • Zenoram is durable as he shares a body with Zero
  • Zenoram knows when he cannot win and knows when to back down. He uses his brain and intelligence.

Zero
  • Zero is able to properly utilize his body’s combative capabilities to extraordinary heights. Whether it is his heightened senses or enhanced physical abilities, he is highly skilled.
  • Zero can take a hit because of his durable body. Thus, he may go down, but it’ll take a lot to make him drop.
  • Zero has a very strong will and a high aptitude for combat. Thus, he can fairly easily adapt to battles.

Three Weaknesses:
Zenoram
  • Zenoram’s kind and trusting nature leaves him vulnerable to trickery and manipulation. He is easily fooled and it could very well be his undoing.
  • Zenoram lacks the mindset and the ability to properly use his body to its combative potential. Thus, he is support and not much else.
  • Zenoram has little to no actual combat ability. Physically, he should. But mentally his knowledge is blank.

Zero
  • Zero just doesn’t know when to quit. He can sometimes lose himself in a battle and go too far even if he cannot win.
  • Zero’s insecurities over his feelings regarding Zenoram and his existence can be a tactical weapon against him if one knows that much about him.
  • Zero is fairly paranoid and can make simple mistakes and cause problems because of his own anger and paranoia.

Zenoram cares for Hemlock and Zero, but also deeply cares for the life inhabiting this world and the lives of each individual and creature around him.

Name: "White Lightning" Vincent BlackSabre Age: 19 Magic: "White Raijin" Magic. Essentially, Vincent uses a unique type of Lightning Magic. While he cannot generate electricity in his body directly, he is able to charge anything he touches with electricity, allowing him to do a variety of things. His favorite thing to do is charge the throwing knives he constantly carries around him. This increases the piercing power of the knives, allowing them to penetrate wood and even stone. However, Vincent is also able to travel through anything with an electrical current, whether it be something or someone he had charged with his touch, or even a light post, as an electrical current. If he has touched the spot over someones heart, he can pass through their heart as an electrical current, essentially causing cardiac arrest. The more things that Vincent passes through, the more charge his body can absorb, and as a last-resort, he can release the charge in his body, giving him unparalleled speed and strength for a short amount of time. But because this electricity was not generated from his body, but from an outside source, this does leave his muscles unable to function properly for a period of time, hence it being a last resort move. Magic Level: A History: Growing up in an orphanage, Vincent kept to himself most of the time. A loner by nature, he constantly watched as the children around him were adopted, while he remained left behind. As more and more children left, Vincent felt himself grow to resent everyone around him more and more, and finally, at the age to 10, he ran away from the Orphanage. Knowing that without money, he would eventually die, Vincent began to research magic, and developed his own kind of Magic, taking the principle of Lightning Magic he had read about, and creating his own twist. At first, he was horrible, and instead of taking jobs or joining a guild to gain money, he instead resorted to stealing food. But after five years of living like this, after five long years to trying to perfect his magic, he was finally able to use it. It was at the age of fifteen that Vincent realized that his magic was best suited for assassination. Fast, efficient, and most of all, quite. And so, he became a freelance Mage, taking on assassination jobs for a price. He was finally able to get off the streets and into a decent apartment, finally able to support himself. Finally, he was able to live properly. Personality: Vincent prefers to be alone, and dislikes large crowds. He is usually calm and collected, taking the time to study his targets and opponents carefully before making a move. He seems to have a certain liking for taking the lives of others, and can act quite sadistic at times, although this may be an act. He is believes in loyalty above all else, accepting payments only after his job is finished, and will allow any client to jip him. Team Members: None Three Strengths: 1. Good Marksmen: Due to the nature of his magic, Vincent relies on his throwing knives to get the job started. Name: Damian "Blades Gerard Age: 24 Magic: N/A Magic Level: N/A History: Damian was born to parents who were both enlisted in the Edolas Royal Army. His father was a Captain with a brilliant tactical mind and his mother a compassionate sergeant serving in another regiment. His childhood consisted of following his mother's regiment around and spending time with his father when the two were on leave, with weapons and hand to hand training filling much of the family's time. When he turned eight, his mother was transferred to his father's unit and they spent more time together, with Damian enlisting, unofficially, at the age of fourteen. Two years later, when he turned sixteen, tragedy struck. During a battle with some of the separatists that had sprung up, his father took a knife to the back, even as the young man, seeing the fatal blow coming, rushed to try and stop it. The culprit still died, his head removed by Damian's claymore, but his father died on the field of battle. His mother took a fatal wound to her torso from a flurry of arrows, and she died in a medical tent, her son crying at her side. Her final words asked him to find and join a guild and escape the life of killing he'd lived since he was young. Promising her he would, he set out and joined the guild Phoenix Wing after meeting another ex- soldier by the name of James Hunt. After both joining, they often went on jobs together, complementing each others fighting styles and skills well. However, two years after joining, they found themselves on the opposite side of the battlefield from Maddox, the infamous leader of the guild White Hydra. Surging forward together, the three had an extensive battle before Maddox was able to get in a lucky blow to James, crippling him. Kicking Damian away, he made him watch as he snapped James's neck and then broke Damian's arm. Leaving him to die, Damian's hate and will to survive kept him from becoming food for local scavengers, and he even managed to carry James's lifeless body back to the guild hall. Afterwords, he left Phoenix Wing disappeared and became a freelance mercenary, biding his time until he and Maddox could settle things once and for all. A wizard with no record or known existence before, and only goes by his name. He was heard of earlier when he used some kind of extensive use of shadow/darkness magic in which he challenged numerous wizards to test their magic strength, but those that challenged him either ended up severely injured or died. Eventually, he found his way at the Magic Council and challenged them as well. He was able to easily take out most of the Council members that were there. But Grane was able to trick him and seal him away in a ball of light. Currently, Shutler is sealed away in the ball of light that is maintained by some light lacrima keeping the ball prison in place and stable. Where his seal and prison now resides below the Council's building in which the building against mostly took place.

He's broke out of his prison but was later sent to Edolas with the help of the Council and remaining Phoenix Wing Guild members.

Felix can control and generate magnetic fields. He is able to use this in a myriad of ways. He can also magnetize his own body even though it's not strictly magnetic. By using the tiny bits of metals in the ground to magnetically float and move at immense speeds by repelling himself from the earth. He can also control metals, redirect weaker ranged electric attacks and, by using a massive amount of magic energy, repel water attacks. He can increase his strength by using magnetism to attract his own body to objects on the other side of the target as well.
Magic Level: A History: Felix grew up in a small town far away from most big settlements. He was an only child, but he was also surrounded by the children of the village. He was happy. His mother worked in a small shop in town, and his father did research that he sold to universities.
While being a young wizard, Felix has been training with magic as long as he can remember. His father was a powerful but pacifistic lightning wizard who started training him as soon as he was old enough to understand the concepts. However, he was never good at generating lightning or that type of thing. However, doing subtle changes to things like static electricity or magnetism was a skill he quickly mastered.
A few years ago, he left his home to try and make his way in a wizards guild. He's currently searching and trying to find a place for himself.
Personality: Felix is a pretty happy guy, for the most part, but will become gloomy and dejected if he feels insulted or hurt emotionally. Name: Dante Yamato Age: 27 Magic: Familiar Possession A Magic very similar to Celestial Spirit Magic, Familiar Possession allows a mage to summon a creature they have made a contract with. However, unlike Celestial Spirit Magic, these mages do not require keys in order to summon their Familiar to aid them in battle. There body itself is the key, as when a contract is made, the Familiar is sealed within the body of the Contractor. Whenever a Mage summons there Familiar, what appears is simply a physical manifestation of that Familiar’s power. So it they are destroyed during combat, they will not die, as their soul remains safely within their Contractor. Dante has four Familiars residing in this body: Mad Hatter: When called upon, Mad Hatter takes the appearance of a long, green coat adorned with a black top hat with flowers and a piece of paper with 10/6 written on it. The coat itself is closed, revealing only two red glowing red orbs in the space between it and the top hat. The Mad Hatter’s strength relies not in battle, but in confusing the enemy, having access to powerful sensory abilities. It can inverse a person’s senses. Up becomes Down, Left Becomes Right, Forward Becomes Backwards. It is also capable of creating simple Illusions to further confuse or discourage the enemy. White Rabbit: The White Rabbit takes the appearance of a massive bipedal rabbit with snow white fur, and crimson eyes. It has massive hands, which can be used to swat away at groups of enemies, and can use its powerful legs to jump high and fast. It wears a blue coat with a white bowtie. While its physical capabilities are average, White Rabbit’s true power lies in creating ‘Rabbit Holes’. These holes lead to a pocket dimension which can be used to store things Dante does not wish to carry around with him, or to re-direct long ranged attacks. Queen of Hearts: When Queen of Hearts is first summoned, its appearance is similar to Mad Hatters, as it is surrounded by a cloak. However, this cloak is a brilliant white color adorned with crimson hearts, and a high collar covering the lower half of its face. What you can see of its face is two black eyes, and a white, smooth head. When ordered to attack, the cloak opens up, revealing a thin, segmented body, similar to that of a marionette, with long clawed arms and feet, and a wicked scythe in its right hand. The scythe itself had a red blade, the handle being slightly curved. At the bottom of the handle, there is another heart insignia. Queen of Hearts abilities are limited, being the most physical damage oriented of Dante’s Familiars. Its scythe can cut through solid rock, and it attacks relentlessly. It also has a habit of cutting people’s heads off. Jabberwock: The Jabberwock is the most powerful, and dangerous Familiar in Dante’s possession. Unlike the other Familiars within Dante, Jabberwock did not form a contract with Dante willingly. It’s conscious is always tugging at the side of Dante’s, waiting for its chance to become free once more. It is a last resort summon for Dante. When summoned though, it takes the form of a strange, dragon-like creature with a thick body, with long arms and legs, and incredibly long claws. It’s neck is also quite long, almost serpentine, and ends with a strange, malformed head. It has bat-like wings, and a thick tail. Its skin is scaly, and black in color. The Jabberwock’s abilities are very similar to a Dragons, though if it is considered a true Dragon is debatable. It can control the element of Darkness itself, integrating this ability in its variety of attacks. Forbidden Magic: Corpse Puppet Dante opens up White Rabbit’s pocket dimension, allowing a dark blue coffin to fall through. When he activates this magic, the coffin opens up, revealing a beautiful women in a flowing black dress, with elbow-length black gloves, both made of silk. She had flowing blonde hair that reaches her lower back, and a black, silk blindfold around her eyes. This...is Lacie. Corpse Puppet allows Dante to control her body, including all the magic she had in life. This is his absolute last resort, along with Jabberwock. He would much rather not have to use either of these abilities. Lacie’s abilities are as follow: Siren’s Song: Aria Pulse The “Siren’s Song” magic allows the user to convert their voice into powerful magical abilities, depending on what pitch, and how much magic they use. Aria Pulse creates a high-pitched tune that affects the inner eardrum of the target, throwing them off balance. Siren’s Song: Sonata Shockwave Sonata Blast creates a powerful sonic attack, causing physical damage to those who are hit by it. It is capable of block and re-directing some attacks, thanks to the powerful sound waves emanating from Lacie. Siren’s Song: Soprano Concert Lacie’s ultimate attack, Soprano Concert generates literal sheets of music, which then attack the target. The notes can be shifted into different forms and flung at the opponent, while the staff can be used to bind or hinder the movements of enemies. Whether it be his Familiar Possession Magic, or Lacie’s magic, a great strain if put onto Dante’s body, therefore he can only ever summon up to one of his Familiar’s at a time. Magic Level: B History: Let me tell you a story. A story of how two people came to meet, fall in love, gain everything...and then lose it all. First, I’ll tell you my history. My name is Dante, and I was born into a family of powerful mages with an ancient mission. You see, we have a unique type of magic called “Familiar Possession.” It is similar to what you call “Celestial Spirit Magic”, but I’ve heard that our magic pre-dates that ability. Anyway, that’s not the point. My family has been tasked, for hundreds of years, to guard a creature known as the Jabberwock. Know one knows what the Jabberwock really is, or where it came from. Some say it is one of the ancient Dragons. Other say it is a Demon created by Zeref. Some believe it is death incarnate. Whatever you believe, one fact is known about it: It is an engine of destruction. When it was free to roam this earth, it caused havoc and mayhem wherever it went, until its reign of terror ended. My ancestor bravely stood up against the Jabbberwock, and after a long, fierce battle, sealed it inside herself. In order to stop the Jabberwock from ever being freed again, my family created a tradition to seal the Jabberwock in the next generation of mages, ensuring that a healthy host was always available to keep the beast contained. At the age of ten, I became the Jabberwock’s next prison. I didn’t mind though, in fact I felt proud. It was hard at first, the whispering of the Jabberwock’s consciousness inside of my head, trying to escape by any means it could. But I learned to block it out, and the more I trained, the prouder I felt. I was keeping a monster at bay, a monster that would throw the world into another state of chaos. I was protecting the entire world. As a grew up, I added more Familiar’s to my repertoire, and eventually decided to become a freelance mage. I waved goodbye to my family, and my home, and at the age of 17 I left to carve my own path. Life as a freelancer wasn’t always easy. It took me a good while to earn enough money to rent a decent apartment for myself, but it was always fun. I met so many new and exciting people, traveled to so many different places...it was a dream come true. It was on one of my missions that I met her. Lacie was a freelance Mage as well, though from a very different background. She had been born into a wealthy family that looked down on magic users, believing them to be the physical manifestation of everything wrong with the world. They urged their daughter to take up something worthy of a noble. And so, she took up singing. She loved it, and when she discovered she had an affinity for magic, instead of acting like the rest of her family, she embraced it, and combined it together with her love for music. After that, she ran away from home, and turned to Freelance. The thing is, we met on a few occasions, always on missions, and always on the opposite side. I was trying to get some ancient artifact for my client, she was trying to get the same thing for her client, who just so happened to be a rival of my client. I was trying to get information from a client’s rival, she was protecting said information. And, as embarrassing as it was, every time we met up like this, I always got my butt kicked. The first few times I was furious, of course. I had an image to keep up, a reputation to uphold. But as the years went on, the more I saw her, the more I hoped I’d see her on my next mission. Finally, after getting my ass handed to me for what had to be the hundredth time, I plucked up the courage to ask her out. And, to my surprise, she said yes Lacie had always had this air of flair around her. She was confident, smart, and knew just what buttons to press to get you flustered. But she was also insanely beautiful, intelligent, and just good company all around. And before I knew it, I had fallen head-over-heels in love with her. Sounds corny, I know. But, she must of at least shared some of my feelings, because when I asked her to marry me, she said yes. We had a small ceremony, moved in together, and to make sure our streak of meeting each other on missions would come to an end, we began to take missions together. We become known as the “Freelance Power Couple” because together, we were unstoppable. I was the happiest man alive. A great job, a beautiful wife. We even planned on starting a family. But one mission we took....turned all my hopes and dreams into dust. It was supposed to be a simple mission. An easy one. Protect a wealthy business man traveling from one city to another. We had encountered a few bandits here and there, but took care of them no problem. But then something happened. Another groups of what we thought were bandits was blocking the road. We decided we’d take care of them in one shot and move on. But they weren’t just bandits. They were mages. We had no idea why, but they attacked, all of them using magic we had never seen before. It was a long and hard battle, and in the end we won...but it cost me my left eye....and Lacie...her life. The Business man had escaped sometime during the fray, and as I kneeled there, cradling the body of my wife, as rain soaked my body, a figure appeared before me. “Would you do anything to be with your wife again?” The figure asked. It was draped in a black cloak, a hood covering its face. The only thing could tell, from its voice, was that it was female. In my agony, in my despair, I said yes. I’d do anything to have Lacie by my side again. What happened next was a blur. I felt a burning in my chest, just over my heart, a searing pain that knocked me on my back. He tore off my shirt and saw a blood-red insignia now burning over my heart, shaped like a butterfly. “I have embedded a fragment of the girl’s soul inside of you. While it is impossible to bring her back to life, you can keep her body preserved, and even use her was a weapon now...” No...this isn’t what I meant. This isn’t what I wanted...but before I could say anything, the figure disappeared. I looked at Lacie’s body, and what I had done slowly dawned on me. A Fragment of her soul was inside me. Now, Lacie would never be able to rest...not as long as that fragment resided in me. I’ve been searching since then, looking for the figure that did this. I’ll beg her, plead with her, to reverse the magic she placed on me. I want Lacie to be able to rest. I miss her so much but...this isn’t right. I won’t let Lacie’s soul stay fragmented. Not because of me.... Personality: Dante is, despite his tragic past, and the burden he bears, a very cheerful fellow. He likes to joke around with others, and will talk about Lacie any chance he gets. He will even pull out his wallet in order to show off pictures of them together, all with a huge grin on his face. He loves to socialize with guys, always willing to ‘be the wing-man’, and is respectable around women, still referring to himself as a married man. He can be overly friendly sometimes, which has been known to annoy some people, but his heart is in the right place. He can be thoughtful sometimes as well, such as when he thinks about how he lost Lacie, and what he had done. He doesn’t get depressed, but there is a noticeable difference in his personality. Dante also has a very bad smoking habit, always claiming he is trying to quite, while never showing any real progress in doing so. He is loyal and kind, and will always give his opponent the chance to run away from a battle. However, underneath all of this, Dante also has a fear. The Jabberwock that dwells inside of him is constantly tugging at his mind, and his greatest fear is that one day it will escape, or take over his body, allowing it to release itself. Team Members: N/A Three Strengths: 1. Sharp-shooter: Along with his magic, Dante carries around a .50 Calibur silver revolver for combat alongside his magic. He has practiced with it for years, and has become quite good at using it, even with only one eye. 2. He is a reliable ally, and refuses to leave anyone he can save behind. 3. High endurance. Three Weaknesses: 1. Despite being dead, Dante is very protective over Lacie, and will throw himself in the way of an attack that may be aimed at her (If she is summoned). 2. Ice Dragon Slayer: A lost magic allowing the user to take on the traits of a dragon. In this particular case, an Ice Dragon. The user is capable of breathing out cold wind and ice shards, covering their hands in ice to create claws, make wings of ice, and make scales of ice, among other feats. On top of that, Dragon Slayer's have keen senses, take less damage from their element, and can eat their element to regain their magical power, so long as that element does not come from one of their spells. Ice Dragon Slayers are also immune to feeling cold.

Amaya's Ice Dragon Slayer Techniques:

Ice Dragon's Roar:
this move is one all Dragon slayers learn but the different elements dramatically change from slayer to slayer depending on the Dragon. This attack takes in normal air which in turn allows Amaya to let out a huge gust of icy blizzard wind that is mixed with shards of ice.

Claws of the Ice Dragon:
Amaya breaths on her hands a few times causing the Ice to form hard Dragon shape claws around her hands.

Scales of the Ice Dragon:
this one is simple as Amaya allows ice to form with her skin making a hard ice of blue scales that act like armor covering her body beside her hair and eyes.

Wings/Tail of the Ice Dragon:
this one kinda physically hurts her as she allows ice to fuse with her shoulder blades allowing the Ice to move and form literal wings as she can also do with to form a tail if needed.

Blizzard of the Ice Dragon:
by forming wings and taking in as much air as she can she is able to shift the Dragon roar to form a large tornado like blizzard sending it towards her enemy,

Ice Dragon's Diamond Fist
An attack that grants the user the power of an ice dragon's breath condensed in to their fist, leaving the hand blue, due to the extremely low temperature. Upon impact the target will begin to freeze over immediately.

the user is able to take a regular sword and changed it to unmeltable
ice, which then is used as a sword.

Ice Dragon's Tears
The user forms a storm of icicles varying in size, which then fly towards the casters target, if pierced by one of the icicles the target is frozen in that area of the body for a short period of time

Ice Dragon's Claw
With this spell, Amaya is able to form Ice over her hands in order to resemble that of an Ice Dragon's. The strength of these claws are able to contend with and even break the blades of some swords. To prove how cold this spell is able to get, when in use it is able to cause the moisture in the are to begin to freeze, creating particles of snow in the process. When Amaya slashes the target with these claws, she is able to cause the opponent to begin freezing over for as long as she maintains contact.

Ice Dragon's Scales
The Ice dragonslayer's exclusive Scales, incorporating the element of ice. As the surrounding climate begins its inevitable decline in temperature due to continued use of Amaya's spells, the strength of any of her later spells continue to increase to the point that armor composed from ice begins to form. These collections of ice are initially most prominent on the lower portion of her arms and entire back but these formations soon progress to the rest of her body as the fight drags on. This armor is able to take multiple hits from and opponent and can even start to cause an opponent who maintains contact for too long to begin freezing.
Ice Dragon's Wing The area around Amaya's arm is immediately frozen over and the air becomes frosted in her vicinity. The aura of this spell can instantly freeze anything that comes into extended contact with it, encasing it in a massive glacier. The use of this spell has the added effect of engulfing the surrounding landscape in a frozen tundra, the coldness of which is intense enough to create snow in the sky.

Secret Dragon Slayer Art: Raging Blizzard
The user propells themself into the air, and then spins whilst in the air and builds up snow inside their palms, once the user is fully enveloped in snow Then the user extends both arms and causes the snow to rise up from behind the user and piles ontop of the target, the snow seeps through and slows all bodily movements and causes major damage.

Secret Dragon Slayer Art: Northern Lights
The user swirls northern light colors and aims their palms at the target sending jagged blasts of light at the target. Once through the attack hardens into ice like shards and perices the target. Causes major damage.

Ice Age: Frozen Carnival
With this spell, Amaya can create a series of ice mirrors in the form of a dorm around an opponent. Though they are made from ice, they are infused with Amaya's magical energy, making them slightly resistant to Fire Magic related spells. Upon activating this spell, Amaya is capable of entering one of the mirrors and instantly transporting to another mirror. In order to confuse her foes, all of the mirrors will show a reflection of Amaya, making it difficult for the opponent to discern which mirror she is in. Utilizing this technique more offensively, Amaya is able to drag an opponent into these mirrors as well. Breaking the mirror does not stop this spell, but instead creates more openings for Amaya to use as she is able to pull the opponent into the broken shards as well; as even individual parts of the opponent's body can be dragged in. Any actions in the mirror world is reflected in the real world and occurs for seemingly no reason. Amaya can then exit the mirror world through any reflective surface, leaving trapped individuals inside without a way to escape.

Ice Age: Hail Descension
To use this spell, amaya proceeds to first jump high into the air above her target(s) and then proceeds to conjure a large glacier from even the tiniest bit of moisture in the air. She appears to stand above it as the glacier begins forming at her feet, taking in more moisture from the atmosphere and grows in size. After the glacier has finished forming, amaya uses the crafted mass of ice to come down atop of her foes, utilizing the glacier's massive weight to completely crush anyone beneath her, literally and metaphorically. This technique does not heavily rely on power as it focuses on using the natural design of a large descending object in order to do damage to amaya's foes.

Ice Age: White Beak
A byproduct of the previous Hail Descension spell. Instead of using the mass of ice to crush an opponent, Amaya will procees to peel off shards of ice from the large glacier instead. The shards of ice from this spell, fly off at high speeds, being capable of catching moving targets with ease, although they can only fly in one general direction at a time. Any object struck by one of White Beak's ice shards will become trapped in a prison of thick ice until someone manages to thaw it away.

Sub Zero: 5 Layer Dance of the Ice Goddess:
The user surrounds them self with ice coating their whole body and twirls around like they are dancing at a extreme speed, releasing a huge wave of ice able to cover a large radius making it shattering anything within range.

Shattering Glass: Diamond Scythe Exploding Barrage:
The user forms a large Diamond shaped scythe and hits their target creating a Diamond shape Explosion causing the blast to deal massive damage while reducing the body temperature of the target to below Freezing point.

History: Amaya was born in a small village at the base of Mount Hakobe. It was a small rural village were everyone knew everyone and managed to make out a living despite living in a very remote section of Fiore. The most important location in the village, at least to it's people, was the shrine dedicated to it's guardian deity. The people there worshiped this being every day of sent it prayers.

Amaya was born to a family of farmers who were amongst the most devout of the deity's followers and gave Amaya up as an infant to be raised as one of the deity's priestesses. From her first day of life to the age of eight, Amaya all Amaya knew was a life of worship and prayer. She would spend the day in prayer and learning and occasionally go out to run errands.

One day, shortly after her eighth, a small group of bandits attacked the village for supplies. The bandits went about, killing every and raiding the small properties for what little goods the owners had. Amaya was out doing some shopping for the shrine when this event occurred and narrowly avoided being killed while running back to her home. Once there she did the only thing she could and pray for salvation to come before it was too late. As she prayed, the bandits broke in and began raiding the shrine while grabbing the priests and priestesses. Amaya was forced to watch as her family was killed before her, one by one until it was her turn. Accepting her faith, the child said one last prayer while awaiting her death.

The killing blow never came as a roar echoed through the village. Before the bandits could look around, something huge landed and let out a roar loud enough to be heard for miles. The bandits panicked and ran, though whatever had landed spared them no mercy and quickly began wiping them out. Amaya kept her eyes closed the entire time out of fear, now thinking she would be killed by a wild animal rather then the bandits.

When everything quieted down and the chaos ended, the creature approached Amaya and gently nudged the young girl. Slowly, Amaya opened her eyes and was shocked to see a majestic dragon standing in front of her.

The dragon watched the little girl in front of her. She knew the human wouldn't make it out here on her own, especially one as young as Amaya as. The dragon decided to care for the young child and quickly made a shelter made of ice and gently ushered the girl inside.

The Dragon, calling itself Aurora so that Amaya had something to call it, would take care of Amaya for the next eleven years. The dragon helped Amaya keep up with her studies and also managed to somehow provide the girl fresh clothes as the years went by. However, on Amaya's nineteenth birthday, Aurora mysteriously vanished, leaving behind nothing but a message to head to a guild called Pheonix Wing. And thus, Amaya left her ruined village for the first time, setting out into the unknown world for the first time, with the goals of finding out about both Pheonix Wing and why Aurora suddenly disappeared.

A year has passed but Amaya has finally arrived at Pheonix Wing's hometown, having had various adventures over the years, mostly due to her naivety and lack of knowledge of how the world works.

Personality: Amaya is a very child-like yet mature individual. She is very curious about the world, having never left her village and is easily distracted by things she finds either cute or cool. She is also very trusting, as simply saying 'I give you my word' is enough to earn her trust. She also very shy around others, having been out of contact with other humans for eleven years and often making embarrassing mistakes when interacting with them.

Despite these childish traits, she is a strong-willed individual with a strong sense of right and wrong. She is incredibly loyal to those she works with and even more so to those who prove themselves worthy. Her devotion to such people is such that she is willing to put her life or freedom on the line for them without hesitation and she is unable to turn a blind eye on the suffering of the innocent as well.

The one thing Amaya is unwilling to talk about is how she got her magic and the tragic circumstances that lead to it.

The Ice Dragon Aurora, is a dragon with an unusual past. Like most dragons four-hundred years ago, she ruled over human, particularly those who resided near Mount Hakobe. She largely presided over one particular village at the base of the mountain, acting as a guardian deity to it, and mostly ate humans who would dare try to test her patience by trying to attack the humans that inhabited the village. She was known for being cold and distant but also kind and unshakable in her beliefs.

When the Dragon Wars broke out, Aurora sided with the Pro-human dragons. While she agreed that human should coexist with dragon, she soon withdrew from the war when her fellow pro-coexistence dragon began teaching the humans magic, seeing the possible repercussions where others did not. The only time she fought after this point was when other dragon's dare encroach on her territory. Such fights were usually brief but never ended well for the invader and many learned to simply avoid the mountain.

Aurora was not surprised to learn when the Dragon Slayers betrayed the dragons and began killing them off. She was however, surprised to learn of the new dragon, the Black Dragon, Acnologia, that was slaughtering her kind. Knowing she would stand no chance against them and that a fight between her and the beast would result in mass destruction, Aurora gave the village one last gift, a gem that they could pry to in order to contact her, and few to the highest point of the mountain, before freezing herself in a block of ice, allowing the snow to hide her frozen form and hopefully avoid Acnologia's wrath.

While the trick worked for a while, Acnologia eventually found Aurora's frozen form. Viewing her as being so weak that she wasn't worth waking up, the Black Dragon simply reaped her soul like he had done so many dragons before leaving the frozen Ice Dragon to die. Centuries would pass before Aurora's frozen slumber ended, with the desperate prayers of one of her villagers finally caused her to stir. Breaking out of her self-made, the weakened dragon flew down to the village only to find it in ruins and the last survivor, a young girl, about to be slaughtered. Angered, the dragon wasted little time killing and eating the raiders and soon turned her attention to the lone survivor. Knowing the child wouldn't survive on her own and that Aurora couldn't accompany her for fear of causing trouble. So the Ice Dragon did the only thing she could and adopted the child as her own daughter and took care of her, even going against her beliefs and teaching the girl Ice Dragon Slayer magic so the girl could defend herself.

Once the girl was old enough and knew enough to defend herself, Aurora used her magic to hide in the girl's body. Knowing the use of Dragon Slayer magic would eventually turn the girl into a dragon unless stopped, the Ice Dragon hoped to prevent her daughter from suffering the same fate as Acnologia, even if it meant hurting the girl due to seemingly abandoning her.

Magic Level: B History: Ever since he was a young boy, Zac had always been carefree and, well, happy. He had a loving mother and father, everyone in his small town loved him, except for the bullies, although even they couldn't help but respect the lengths the young boy would go to to protect others. When he was sixteen, a group of bandits had arrived and was threatening to burn the small town down unless the villagers did as they ordered. Zac, despite his parents trying to keep him back, had stepped forward, ready to defend his home, only to be beaten for it by the bandits. Deciding to punish the entire village for his bravery, the leader ordered the village wiped out. Hearing this, a new flame of defiance, along with something else, ignited inside of Zac's heart. Before he knew it, he was on his feet, light flashing in his hands as he raises them. A moment later, the sound of a gunshot still rolling through the still air, the leader fell to the ground, a new hole in his chest. It took a long time, during which, the village had alienated Zac. They had seen magic, of course, but, as sudden and explosive as Zac's power was, they had no idea how to handle him, anymore. His parents, however, were more than willing to help him master his powers, hoping the village would accept him once more. Two years later, as they normally do, rumors had spread, making their way to the commander of Fiore's military, who had sent out a man to the small village with the gun mage, who would become Zac's mentor for the next several years. Over the years, Zac's abilities had grown, allowing him to summon a wider assortment of firearms, and honing his prowess with each weapon to near-superhuman levels. He had become part of an elite two-man team, consisting of himself and his mentor, which had seen a surprising amount of action during the relatively peaceful time Fiore shared with her fellow nations. Eventually, the toll of taking so many lives had finally begun weighing down on Zac's conscience. During the day, he was fine, but he would wake his mentor in the middle of the night, due to his nightmares. Despite his protests, his mentor had talked their commanders into letting the younger man go. Not knowing what else to do, yet still wanting to protect as many people as he could, he had decided to join a guild, where he could still put his abilities to good use while hopefully giving his mind time to recover. History: Born in the city Nepenthe to a professional chef father and a wine seller mother, Fleo enjoyed an uneventful and promising early life. Learning to read at a young age, she found great joy in taking trips with her mother throughout and beyond the town, always thrilled to discover new things. She received the best education that Nepenthe could provide, and discovered at the age of eight that she had a gift that none of the other children did: magic. Thrilled to discover how different and special she was, Fleo begged her father to find someone who could help her learn magic, and he did so. Four months after discovering her gift, she began private tutelage in the art of Sound Magic.

At the age of eleven and a half, Fleo and her mother traveled to a nearby village for a special fall festival, where Mrs. Plector supplied the wine that fueled the festivities. Fleo insisted upon joining the celebrations, but since she was obviously underage, she could not have anything more than a taste of her mother's wares. Instead, she trekked to a nearby river to get water, only to find that the water was absolutely nasty. Laughing at her misfortune, Fleo nevertheless joined the festivities and partook in a thirsty but fun night.

Two weeks later the symptoms began. It became tougher for Fleo to move; her muscles ached all the time and exhausted easily. Unwilling to let a little discomfort get her down, Fleo continued to go about business as normal, not even telling her parents what was going on. One morning, Fleo awoke to found that she could not move. The muscles in her arms and legs were so weak that the girl could not rise from bed. The doctors told her that she had poliomyeltis, a degenerative muscle disease typically contracted by drinking fetid water.

For three years she lay abed. Unable to see the outside world, she practically rotted within her own body, despite her parents' best attempts to console her. Though her education proceeded, it went slowly, as if Fleo had lost all interest in learning. She allowed herself to forget her Sound magic, she cut herself off from her friends, and she did her best to keep herself in an eternal sleep, so that she wouldn't be able to see and hear what she was missing. So desperate were her parents that they sought a magical solution. A guild wizard by the name of Gaudium came to see her, and he was moved by her hopeless despair. He sacrificed his own magical power to transfer it all to Fleo, granting her an innate proficiency in Dust magic. When Fleo awoke to find that her arms and legs had melted away into dust, she was brokenhearted. Gaudium showed her, however, that she could use her mind to shape the dust into new arms and legs, ones that weren't paralyzed by an awful disease. After thanking him with all her heart, the overjoyed Fleo ran around Nepenthe for half the day, and realized that she needed to leave and start seeing what the world was like.

For a while she was a part of an independent guild before they were merged with another, which turned out to be a nefarious Dark Guild. When she realized the true nature of her new organization, Fleo was glad to join a small squad of former guildmates to overthrow the Dark Guild's master with her massive power. Afterward, she traveled again, and had more adventures, always seeking a way -be it in magic or inside herself- to make her new arms and legs permanent. Now her journey has brought her to Pheonix Wing.

Personality: Looking at Fleo, it would be difficult to guess that she's crippled. After all, she's energetic, easily excited, fond of asserting herself, a perfectionist, seemingly outgoing, and a more than capable fighter. However, she's also insecure, proud, easily upset, easily scared, and very, very afraid. Her greatest fear is to be crippled, stuck on a bed and unable to take care of herself, experience anything—even move. Boredom and immobility are anathema to her, and to be anything less than absolutely free she regards as an insult to the blessing that has allowed her to walk again. Fleo despises weakness, both in herself and others, and constantly strives for everyone around her to be the best they can be. While her tendency to point out the flaws in others might come off as annoying, pretentious, or even insulting (her observations can be rather blunt), her intentions are pure. She does her absolute best to keep her condition a secret, and can get very agitated if people start prying.

1. Dust Magic – this brand of magic is very powerful, and Fleo is an adept at using it.
2. Commitment – like it or not, Fleo will get the job done. Doing something halfway is a sign of weakness.
3. Righteousness – Fleo sees dishonesty, criminality, substance abuse, sadism, cheating, and the like as signs of personal weakness, and thusly will never stoop to partake in them.

1. Ultra-cautious – Fleo is unwilling to take any sort of risks that would compromise her consciousness or magical power, and will often flee if a situation seems about to do this to her.
2. Detached – Fleo both likes and wants to socialize with others, but her insecurity means she has a hard time opening up with them, and she also tends to synergize very poorly with others in combat. Pressing her will cause her to become agitated.
3. Disability – if Fleo loses consciousness, or runs out of magic power, her arms and legs dissolve. She will go to great lengths to both keep this from happening and keep it a secret, and failing that, she will go to any length to avoid regression.

Greatest Love: Running, experiencing new things, meeting new and interesting people, traveling.

Motivation: To achieve a level of control over herself so that she may live a full and happy life despite her ailment.

Supplementary Spell List:
Siracco (Sabaku no Kaze) - a rudimentary spell that requires no verbal incantation. The user creates a carpet of dust beneath her that buoys her up a centimeter above the ground and allows her to move across terrain without moving her legs. She can change direction on a dime, making this a more agile approach to mobility than normal motion.

Dust Craft (Hokori Kurafuto) – a rudimentary spell that requires no verbal incantation at the base level. Using acquired dust, the caster shaped it into an object. The more complicated the object, the harder its form is to maintain, and the more time it takes to mold. With practice, certain molds become easier to maintain. More advanced constructs require incantation. Dust Craft has the potential to create very large, very complex constructs, but these require the use of the particular Craft's Pristine Invocation.

Dust Bomb (Funjin Bakuhatsu) – a basketball-sized projectile that travels in an arc. It explodes with concussive force, spraying dust everywhere, when it is triggered by touch or by the command "kyuukei". It can be stuck to the ground, walls, and even ceilings to make mines. Several can be conjured by a single incantation.

Silver Wind (Haiiro no Kaze) – the dust is condensed into a single plane, which then shoots forward at high speed. It is capable of cutting through weak objects, and will generally carry away an opponent caught inside it. It can also be 'drawn' on the ground or on flat surfaces to act as a boundary.

Dust Bowl (Koujin Chitai) – a wave of dust blasts outward in all directions before spiraling upward into a funnel, creating a miniature cyclone. It is difficult for both living beings and magic to get both in and out, making Dust Bowl both an effective trap and a good shield.

Vacuum Rupture (Shinkuhakai)– holding one hand palm-first and the other directly behind, the user draws the back hand backward as if pulling on a massive syringe. Vast quantities of dust, sand, dirt, snow, ect. accumulate into a massive ball stuck to the forward hand, which can then be launched by thrusting the back hand forward. If the ball hits the ground, it will lose some of its mass but can be guided to home in on its target. The ball will swallow up whatever it comes across until it encounters something it cannot engulf, at which point it explodes.

Dust Devil (Sunakemuri) – dust is drawn toward the user, forming a shell around her before erupting. When the shell is gone, the user has changed. The bandages covering her arms and legs have vanished, and the limbs have grown longer and spiky, developing a texture like scales. A sixth finger appears on each hand, and the fingers become more like claws. Similarly, the feet have become morel like talons. When in this form, the user's speed and strength are vastly enhanced, and all of her spells that require the accumulation of dust to function charge twice as quickly.

Vortex Impact (Uzuna Eikyou) – the user uses Sirocco to begin moving, then accelerates until she's moving extremely quickly. At that point, she becomes enveloped in dust and starts to spin, effectively becoming a massive dusty drill. At the tip of the drill beneath the dust is the user's foot, making Vortex Impact effectively an ultra-powerful kick capable of breaking through solid surfaces.

Notes: Each spell Fleo uses has three variations. Saying the spell's name in English or not at all is its weakest incarnation. Saying the incantation in Japanese, the home language of her mentor Gaudium, is stronger and more reliable. Then there is the Pristine Invocation: the true name of the spell, bestowed by its original creators in ancient times when dust magic first came to be. Fleo must discover the Pristine Invocations one-by-one by exploring the world and finding the translations. As of now, she has yet to find one.

Appearance:

Beneath the bandages she constantly wears, her arms and legs are gray dust. The bandages are purely cosmetic, to hide the status of her limbs, and serve no other purpose. Her guild mark is on her belly.

Personality: Energetic, that would the main defining point of his entire personality. Often moving around, even when standing still, Candy can often get hyped about stuff pretty easily and breaks personal space most the time whenever talking to someone.

Magic: Candy Magic

Description: Candy Magic is a type of Holder Magic, which involves the use of edible sweets to give power to the user. When ingested, the magically charged sweets provide several empowering effects relating to the type of confection that was eaten at the time. Candy can be combined to create even more combinations, but bad mixes can lead to adverse effects upon the user if not careful on what they eat. Another set back is actually if the user eats too much magically infused candy, they can experience a crash as it overloads the system with too much sugar and magic making the user effectively out of combat.

Spells:

Jawbreaker: Upon digesting the candy, the user's hands are soon enveloped by humongous jawbreakers 14 inches in diameter. The jawbreakers are as hard as steel, however, 4-6 punches usually breaks a layer upon the jawbreaker making them smaller by 2 inches each. The jawbreakers usually fall apart when the the third layer is gone.

Taffy: Upon digesting the candy, the user become comically stretchy, but can't actually stretch himself out as other people need to stretch him. This candy isn't often used for combat situations and can only be useful in specific types of situations.

Gummy Candy: Upon digesting the candy, the user becomes very bouncy and is able to actually reflect must blunt weapons as it just bounces right off the user.

Mint: Upon digesting the candy, the user purifies itself of any Candy Magic inside of the system. Often used to switch through powers quickly if the situation demands for it.

Hard Candy: Upon digesting the candy, the user is enveloped in a flexible casing that is unnaturally tough, able to block against weaker types of attacks and able to reduce the damage of powerful attacks.

Sugar Candy: Upon digesting the candy, the pure amount of sugar makes the body extremely fast in both speed and reaction timing. This type of candy is quite unstable and may cause a faster crash.

Brittle: Upon digesting the candy, the user's body protrudes sharp and jagged pieces of brittle along the body and is able to be used in close combat or even shot out as a dangerous projectile. The brittle is tougher than its digestible form, but can be broken pretty easily, almost like wood.

Biography: No one really knew where Candy had come from, and no one really even knew if this kid even had parents when growing up, he just randomly appeared upon the streets of Crocus. This brightly colored kid was homeless along the streets and slept wherever he could from the hard benches to people kind enough to allow him to sleep inside their houses for a few days. However, everyday Candy went along the streets and managed to annoy most people with his rather persistent questioning and usually got inside of everyone's face. Whenever the police came to grab the child, he would always manage to slip by their grasp and appear inside of a different district of the city.

Later through the years, everyone usually has seen or heard of the energetic urchin and his love for candy as he always managed to buy the fine sweets with money that was reportedly stolen from people's wallets . However, Candy was soon missing for the streets for several weeks, many people thought that he left the town and some were glad or sad that the little energetic kid was gone from the rather crowded streets. Others believed something nefarious happened to the little street urchin, but not many people really wanted to think about these bad things upon the child.

Years had past, and everyone's memory of Candy are almost non-existencent or had completely forgotten about the brightly colored kid. However, something blasted through the city, making the town panic for a short moment before noticing something. When the people looked up, it wasn't smoke covering the city, but multi-colored sugar billowing into the sky. Where the blast originated from was an abandoned warehouse, in inside the middle was the kid that almost everyone had forgotten through the years, but he was no longer a kid, he was actually a teen. Candy smiled at the crowd gathering around him and waved at everyone before quickly eating something that he produced out of his pocket and was suddenly missing from his original spot. The entire city was confused on who and what this kid actually was, as it seemed he wasn't any normal energetic street urchin.

Several days later, Candy was finally spotted near one of the guilds that dotted the land and smiled brightly at the building. He soon speed walked into the guild, specifically, it was the guild of Phoenix Wing.

The storm ripped their ship apart, leaving nothing but wooden planks floating in the water as no one else was spared by the harsh waves crashing down on them. Nolan woke up on an unfamiliar shore, not knowing where he was and where his family was. What had surprised him was that he wasn't alone; there was a man dressed in green robes that was taking care of the boy who at the time had a fever. Nolan tried to ask him who he was though he had no strength to even speak, let alone sit up so the man carried him where he can get help. They arrived at a temple that time seemed to had forgotten a millennium ago with more men in green robes who had gathered around to help the strange boy get back to health. Over time as the young boy stayed at the temple, he had learned that the people who live in the temple are all monks that had dedicated their life to learning God Slayer Magic that had survived in this temple. Nolan would eventually become healthy again however he didn't have anywhere to go. His parents are dead and he has no way to get back home, hell he didn't even know what country he was in. The monks decided to take him in and raised him as their own, teaching him their ways and their ways. 8 years he would live their, learning his own unique God Slayer Magic and the way of the sword though things fell apart. A man had walked into the temple and with no warning he slaughtered the monks and destroyed the temple along with most of the remaining knowledge of God Slaying Magic within the temple. Nolan out of rage had tried to kill this man though he was beaten until he was bordering onto death. The only reason he survived was because the man had lost interest in killing him. Nolan was the only one from the temple that was still alive though filled with anger and vengeance towards the man who killed his friends and destroyed his home. He became a wandering swordsman and now has ended up in Fiore.

Personality: Cold and composed, almost nothing phases him to the point that others may think of him who lacks emotion. He isn't one for getting to close to people on a personal level though that's because of a fear of friendship being a form of weakness that would only drag him down. His fear of women is so great that it is almost crippling unless it is on the battlefield where his life is in danger he can get past it though he may not accept the help of a women even if it would save his life. He does have a soft spot for children and for the elderly so it isn't an uncommon sight for him to be helping them in some way or some other activity. Nolan takes his swordsmanship and his magic very seriously and if they are mocked it will be one of the few things that will ruffle his feathers. The swordsman secretly loves to dance and is very good at it however he is too shy to dance in front of people so he practices in very private areas.

Magic Level: A class.
Magic: Ash God Slayer Magic: Nolan has the ability to create and manipulate ash. Because ash is matter that had been already burned, it cannot be burned even more and is the perfect counter against fire magic. It however does contain residual heat so it can cause burning damage. The ash can be used to hinder one's sight, sense of smell, and even breathing. Like any god slayer, he is able to devour his own element to regain his strength as long it wasn't made by his own magic. However, its strongest point is that the ashes used in other spells used by the same mage can be used again for other spells.

Shaman Magic: It is said to be magic related to Seith Magic, an ancestor of it in a way. While Seith Magic requires a mage to contain souls in order to use them, Shaman Magic does not. In fact the way that passing souls are used can vary.

The souls can be used to create constructs such as extra appendages, barriers, armor, platforms, and so on. The souls can also be summoned to fight for the user, but once destroyed they won’t be able to retain a physical form to fight. If the user wishes to summon a specific soul then they must have an artifact or something related to the soul that they want to summon. Even then the soul can possibly reject the summoning. Another ability gained by this is to be able to see the souls of the living and deceased.

The mage can allow their soul to enter the spirit realm via meditation. The soul can be lost if the body is killed and the soul can be killed as well, never to return to their body.

Swordsman Soul:
Allows the user to store items, weapons, and armors in a pocket dimension so they can easily summon it at any time, even during battle, which gives him or her a high level of offense, defense, flexibility, and variety in combat. However, there is a limit to how much the pocket dimension can store.

Focuses around the use of swords, with those weapons acting as mediums for the user to perform certain attacks. Many of such moves are capable of going past the physical reach of the blade employed in their use, threatening foes at short-to-mid range. The user is also capable of controlling and moving any of the swords via his or her mind, though, the abilities of the sword(s) cannot be used at this time.

In order for a sword to be utilized in this magic, he or she must mark said weapon with his seal; forming a "contract". Each and every sword that goes through this process now holds a small portion of the user's soul. He or she granting trust to the weapon, the blade literally becomes an extension of its wielder. Swords with the user’s seal can only be used by them unless said user allows another to use it. The user is also able to teleport as long as a sword with his seal is in the vicinity the user chooses to teleport to.

Additional Details: His sword, Asi, is said to have been made of a god who was slain by one of the first slayers. It is a two handed sword though its appearance is rather unassuming to the untrained eye; it is a weapon that has an other worldly sheen, the blade's white coloring, and an edge and durability that could be found from any sword forged by any known metal. The bones were made into the fine, tempered blade, the blood was used to cool the steel, and his skin was made into fine cloth for the blade. It's a blade made of a god that is meant to slay other gods, or it could just be an old myth.
